of changes are now being made the CEO or former CEO now CCO of Arrowhead has posted up on Twitter stating hey everyone big update I've decided to hire shamsani as the new CEO of Arrowhead game studios we go way back and I wouldn't trust the business in any other hands than his and he comes with an impressive resume and love for games but what about me and my involvement in Hell divers 2 well I'm glad you asked I'm taking the role of Chief creative officer which means I will spend more time with the team and 100% of my focus on the game and Community which is absolutely incredible this is absolutely huge but who is Shams Shan you may be asking well Shams is actually a really really wellplayed person inside of the gaming industry his track record includes around 12 successful years of paradox interactive which was a strategy game developer they worked mainly with strategy games and ended up being able to be able to be spun out into the industry as an independent company this guy has grown the company from as small as 23 people to 800 plus an IPO and several critically acclaimed titles this is absolutely huge and also if you want some extra content coming from him he also has a podcast called the business video game so I've given it a little bit of a listen it's quite an interesting one definitely one worth checking out but this guy is going to be taking over and our beloved well old CEO I guess the CCO of Arrowhead Johan has now stepped down into the creative sectors and is going to be focusing primarily on the games this is absolutely huge because there seems to be a lot going into it and somebody then obviously responded to this asking the one question that was on all of our minds does this mean that weapon rebalancing will get get the attention it deserves with you taking a more involved role and his response was yes that's the plan so hopefully this means that things should start to make a bit of a move with regards to how the balance patch is going to operate and what everything's going to bring to the table I'm really excited yohan's got a massive love for the gaming industry and he knows his stuff he was the first one to agree with us from everyone in Arrowhead with regards to the balance patches on the AR systems and stuff like that so I'm interested to see what's going to happen now he has made statement with regards to PlayStation though and this is an interesting one because a lot of people were talking about the company going completely independent and not seeing PlayStation continue their relationship further well somebody actually put big congratulations few questions here will you still be working with PlayStation in the future Arrowhead is still a second party Studio working with hell divers and Playstation question mark where is the new hell divers faction obviously he ignored the last part of this message but he stated yes our partnership with PlayStation is strong and we will continue working together on Hell divers 2 still second party absolutely huge information and something that I absolutely love to see that he's sticking to his guns and he obviously sees a lot of things that we don't for me Sony and Playstation were kind of like the death point for a lot of the community inside of Hell divers but there must be something that Johan is seeing whether it is obviously the money that comes from it to help support the development team and publish the games and move it that way or there must be something a little bit deeper in the segment that we just don't know about so we'll have to trust to this judgment and allow this point and continue to work with PlayStation on that their foreseeable now we have got some massive news coming from Twin beard with regards to a new exchange system that we're going to take a look into in a minute and talk about the New Balance patch because as we know Johan's now got his hands in it which may mean a bit more of a delay and we'll have to see that in just a armors when we reach some caps it's it could give high level players some goals we need it right now and make them use some currency that nobody care for at the moment also it could give to Arrowhead if there will be such a system but we're brainstorming about various ways to possibly using in-game resources maybe exchanging something for something else Etc a bit fuzzy I know but that's intended as this is still very early and very much to be decided thanks for the suggestion and have a nice one for me this one's absolutely incredible I absolutely love this one and I think that it's an amazing way to utilize it with an as far as an exchange system to that degree I don't think it would work really sending it back to Super Earth and getting some sort of like helmets and stuff like that that may revolve in quite a lot more work and having some armor pieces that you would only be able to obtain from Super Earth doing those donations so I do think that an exchange rate for other currencies could work pretty damn well I know there's a lot of you guys right now that probably wouldn't agree with all of your currencies maxed out and no reason to spend them but I'm hoping that very soon we have got some more modules and stuff that we can put into to and actually utilize those materials for the greater good of thing another one right here was that somebody asked if they could get load out presets one for bugs one for Bots switching back and forth new guns armor Etc and testing different loadouts he often loses track of the things that he uses now twinbeard had actually responded to this because the presets and the loadout presets are something that a lot of people have been asking for so that they can save their specific loadouts now unfortunately the response that we got was exactly as I expected it to be because this game game doesn't really operate that way he put hi for various reasons the answer is currently no on that one I know it may sound slightly disappointing but an honest reply is better than silent treatment in my opinion now the main point of this game for me is the whole diversity aspect and being able to actually revert and revolve around different weapons different play Styles different Mission Styles and if you were going to have presets you'd have to have a preset one each for the Bots and the bugs and inside of those one each would have to be one for every sing sing Le mission style and that just really means that you are just selecting the same things and you're not really going to switch anything out meaning that there's no real variation on things that you guys are using therefore no presets they kind of like the idea of the variation points and you use a diverse amount of weapons to be able to utilize inside of the field I feel like that one was kind of a given but nonetheless it's spoken about all the same next up though somebody put hi are we skipping this week's patch for big end of May patch next week and his response was a little concerning but just listen to this one it stated we're skipping it for one we can't say when yet so it may not even be next week but what we do know is that now the CEO Johan has stepped down and Shams has now taken over the CCO is now being issued and Johan is going to be involved in this quite a bit more it means that we may not see an update for maybe a couple more weeks which I don't know how I feel about let alone how you guys do so let me know via the comment section what your Viewpoint is on this one but I think that it's good that we're waiting for these balanced patches to be perfect and what they're going to look at my only concern is Johan is a perfectionist and he has such a detailed Vision that he will expect certain things to be and no end be exactly as he wants them to be I don't know the person as a person but I do know his consensus on how he looks at gaming this for me means that we may be seeing massive gaps in between each balance patch and Patch updates I may not the weekly Tuesday being a thing where we get to see some fixes and stuff being made as of now we'll have to wait and see whether that one materializes yohan's a great guy and he has an amazing vision for what hell divers can be hopefully he just doesn't want to lean it too into the two perfect and will just kind of accept a it's definitely working
