I'm going to be taking a look at Hell divers to on my 480 super I'm going to be looking at 4K 1440p and 1080p but at first I'm going to look at 4K so I for got that set here it will be at Native at first but I'll check out some upscaling in a little bit uh Graphics wise going to play with everything maxed out so we've got everything set to either Ultra or high you can see here so let's have a look now I have seen 4k on this GP before in this game but I wanted to do a quick video uh combining 4K 1440 p 1080p so it's a little bit easier for people to uh see across the board compare them if they're interested in seeing what the the differences between each of the resolutions so we're roughly sitting here between 70 and 80 in this area do get some dips down at 4K definitely to uh kind of 60 to 70 a little bit more and also some highs of like mid 80s GP power as well doesn't look too bad about 300 pretty stand for this GPU overall I think most modern games newer games at least he's pretty much round about 300 I've not seen it even at different resolutions dip down too much from that I think there's probably going to be a charger over there so we're definitely seeing in some denser combat areas are getting some dips down to 65 there you're seeing it a little bit we're going to have to uh figure this out requesting air support is that one of them new how' you like the taste of Freedom seeting here with all the fire definitely hits our FPS pretty badly can I hide from that thing reloading trying to help the others oh this is I'm not going to waste that was a charger I'm not going to waste my 500 kg bomb I'm going to now take a look with the graphics set to high instead of ultra so you can see there I did initially set the preset to high but for some reason the High preset on this game set some of the settings to medium so I've manually switched all the graphic settings to high just to roughly see what we get not really a massive graphical difference I don't think probably most people aren't really going to tell in terms of FPS as well there not really a massive difference it's likely maybe in just the really dense combat areas and stuff with explosions going off you might not see as bad lows as like 65 might maybe be more around the 70 area but I can even when I come in here it's dipping down a little bit still so maybe on average you're looking at not really much difference couple of FPS maybe five FPS Max so I'm now going to take a look at 4K with the upscaling set to Quality now that's giv us a fair boost as well up to 100 FPS now W look at this water though that looked weird didn't it that doesn't look too good throwing grenading down but a good 30 to 40 FPS increase there switching to Quality definitely notice who definitely notice the image quality isn't quite as good straight away where if you put it on something like Ultra quality you don't obviously gain as much fps but you you do retain more of that image quality so it's really going to depend you know how you want to play it I personally if I'm playing at 4K always like to try and retain as much of the quality as possible as long as I'm if I'm in that 70 to 80 FPS range unless it's a competitive shooter I'm not overly bothered if I can maybe get 100 FPS going to like dlss quality or something I'm I'm often will cuz I think in a lot of games you can't really tell tooo much of quality but this game's not using D LSS so image quality isn't quite as good with upscaling but sitting at average of 99 so mostly holds round about that area I'm going to test with the upscaling set to ultra performance but we are starting to see GP usage there come down 85% so this is when it starts having less of a benefit really going to upscaling like this we are seeing 130 140 FPS [Music] though so it definitely starts becoming diminishing returns when you start seeing the G GPU being used less rather keep the image quality at a higher upscaling keep GP usage High have a case of democracy 1440p you can see we've got that set here I'll be doing native at first but we'll check out some of the upscaling a little bit later uh Graphics wise going to play with everything maxed out so we've got everything set to either Ultra or high so we're looking at about 12030 at the moment at 1440p it's quite a big jump from 4K we had about 60 to like 85 for most of 4K so you're looking at a good 50 to you know in the range of probably average well average here 123 so looking at probably about a 50 FPS increase by switching from to 1440p it's pretty uh it's pretty good seeing GP usage here a little bit higher than what we had at 4K as well interestingly 98% we can get it above 97% of 4K see not going to be much difference between 1% though just you'd have thought dropping down the resolution might bring that down a little bit more though how about a nice cup of Li I'm going to take a look with upscaling set to Quality so quality here seeing the GPU power come down a little bit now seeing it at 260 270 so it's kind of of what what we were expecting would happen and obviously CPU usage here has gone up to 45% 10% higher than what we had at Native so 100 almost 150 wats on my CPU now but we are seeing roughly 150 to 160 average 158 so yet again maybe another 10 to 20 FPS increase from Ultra quality so pretty good frame rck wise I see that GP usage come down a little bit now though 92% so it's not holding you're going to start to see that creep down the the more we go down those presets I'm now going to take a look with the scaling set the ultra performance so you can see straight away here image quality wise this looks terrible it really does not look good at 1440p here I wouldn't play with these settings but I'm purely just doing it to just have a look at roughly what our FPS and performance is like pushing closer to 200 PS which it's pretty impressive it's in 185 average so yet again it's um it's definitely going more CPU bound here closer to 50% so we're seeing less of a gain by scrolling down the upscaling presets even more as to uh compared to what we had at like quality still gained a good maybe 20 to 30 FPS on average from quality but I don't really think it's worth it from the image quality cuz you're seeing the GP usage here sit about 85% low there so you end up not really using the GPU less and less yeah look how blury this is though not good throwing grenade so I think probably playing like this after a while might hurt hurt your eyes at least it might hurt my eyes just from how blurry is and look look here dips down even under 150 so gpus is just down to almost 70% there so there's there's just nothing to really gain from doing this you'd be better off leaving it at balanced or quality you see roughly the same performance with just better image quality I'm at 1440p Native but I'm going to take a look with the graphic settings set to high instead of ultra so you can see all the settings here are set to high probably not seeing a huge gain from switching it down to high graphic settings maybe a 10 FPS on average Improvement compared to ultra so gain a little bit this looks so much better though I've just been playing on Ultra performance upscaling even just going to high graphics it looks insanely better like can actually see what I'm doing oh my God I'm getting lasered oh this is too many naom no danger close that one Supply pack I'm going to take a look now with the graphics set to their lowest so you can see some of the settings go to low and some go to lowest now that definitely gives us an increase of FPS compared to going from Ultra to high so we're sitting at 180 at the moment average of 177 I do notice on this game though from what I've seen before that when I go to low graphic settings look you get this huge stutter you see that in the frame time dropping our. 1% low to 5 FPS but I don't notice this at any other Graphics presets so we know obviously the game is really CPU heavy let see it again there in the frame time so obviously going to low settings often if you're bottlenecked it'll just make the situation worse I don't know if there's some sort of issue there not seeing seeing CPU go up a little bit compared to Native with ultra Graphics we had about 35% so it's about 5 to 6% more CPU by going to low Graphics but not seeing that frame time stutter with any other settings I'm going to take a look at 108p now so you can see I've got that here I am at Native but we check out the upscaling as well in a little bit uh Graphics wise still got everything maxed out ultra high okay at 1080p here looking like about 130 140 FPS at least at the moment we're getting about 120 roughly with the same settings at 14 40p so maybe like a 20 to 30 FPS increase not a massive difference between the the uh the two resolutions obviously it's going to become a lot more CPU bound the low resolution we go so seeing that GP usage dip down to 91% there it's not going to quite hold as high at this resolution compared to 440p and 4K as well uh we should see we we'll likely see that a little bit more as well as I drop the graphic settings and use some of the upscaling you'll see that GP usage come down even more but overall not too bad got an average of 147 looks fine on the vram just over 6 gig GP power's come down a little bit as well 260 270 so that's looking a little bit better I'm going to take a look now with the upscaling setor quality so straight away I'm noticing it's definitely image quality is not looking as good it's even more blurry I mean 1080p already was quite blurry on my screen but but it definitely looks a lot worse now I seeing it hit up to about 190 FPS there though so a little bit of an increase could almost definitely push to 240 FPS at 1080p but I really don't think it's going to be uh worth it on this game I think if you could play 1440p 120 130 FPS at Native with the graphics Max that is pretty nice to be honest on my screen is only a 144 HZ display and anyway so have no need for a frame rate like this and it's not a sort of competitive game so I don't really think you need to be pushing 240 for any reason it would be nice in terms of the the feel of the game but because you're dropping the image quality so much I feel like you miss out on the image it's nice having this game does look overall quite nice when you can Ultra the graphics so I think it's a bit of a sh if you just set it all to low purely to get 200 FPS sort of missing out on the graphics I'm now going to test with the upscaling set to ultra performance and look how bad this image is oh dear this is horrendous oh my it's hurt my eyes there is no way you can play like this but it's not even really giving us any FPS cuz GPU us has now come down to 70% barely giving us any performance oh this has got to be some of the worst upscaling Ultra performance I've seen in a long while especially at 1080p I know obviously we rendering at an insanely low resolution but that is rough and look how I think we're actually getting less FPS than we had at quality cuz it's brought our usage down so much seeing about almost 50% CPU usage as well up to 160 wats of my CPU is pretty wild if you've enjoyed this video click one of the videos on screen now to see me testing more gpus and I'll catch you next time
