He was FRUSTRATED!! 🏡 Property/House renovations continue

so remember back when we put in this sidewalk porch here and we had problems with birds sitting on the line and do doing all over our sidewalk a lot of you mentioned that we should dig a trench and bury our phone line and i think this would be perfect because i really hate lines up in the air so this is what we're doing right now and it's raining you probably can't hear a word i'm saying it's so loud out here [Music] [Music] the line is going to run from telephone pole come to our flower bed and go in right here into this end of the kitchen that's where we're going to put our internet line digging up my nice lawn i hate digging up lawn and replanting it's always so hard to get it nice again and even and weeds are always coming up [Music] this doesn't look too good [Applause] um i'm not sure what happened but i have a feeling my husband's not too happy right now he needs a skid loader i'm thinking to repair the tractor skid letter won't start this is my dad's skid loader something's wrong with it he thinks trying to jump it it's not his day too much work too many things to do not enough time not enough saturdays uh my poor husband it's not his day today and not mine either this is an expensive filter that you put on the front of your lens when you video it's kind of like sunglasses for your camera and it's very expensive there's a smudge on the inside that i cannot get to it's like two pieces of glass there's a smudge on the inside like how does that happen i hope we can get this fixed i'm being convicted that our life is way too busy the last while trying to get too much done not enough time for some of the things that really do matter oh my back i think we need this message right now worry less pray thank more [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] why is it when you need to get things done so fast you only have like one saturday to do things of course something's gonna break down and that is how you waste a whole saturday afternoon evening right bandit i don't really care for kisses this is bandit by the way he's a corgi but his ears never went up so he doesn't look like a corgi yeah what happened to your ears buddy they never went up [Music] [Music] now let's hope there's a boat underneath that's real nice oh man i cannot find a bolt for this thing feels like it's bolted somewhere but i don't know where there's no doubt so the moral of today's story is this see this it says case see that on the skid loader that says case don't buy case just kidding so last time that we had rented this digger the starter went out and now this time the chain came off i don't think it likes us very much we were hoping to get this line dug another line dug in the pasture and some holes dug for some trees for the pasture you back this out and then this is kept tight by grease what so you push it in we put the chain on pull the cap back in we pull it back out i have no grease gun but you pump it back up with grease again it's not gonna happen today anymore all of this ah poor nolan he tried and tried to get that chain on and it's just about impossible and uh he finally figured out what he's supposed to do to get it on but the nuts or bolts or whatever it rusted so tight and get them off so what he decided to do is finish digging with the backhoe part and i'm really really hoping that he can dig two holes yet before he takes it back for trees we're getting two trees for the pasture fingers crossed you can do that [Music] are you digging like that look at you [Music] all right so i'm a little bit sad i was going to come out here a quick video nolan he was working out here digging a hole for the tree in our pasture there's going to be a bigger tree planted right here and then a smaller one over there so yeah that's done maybe the trees will come next week hopefully [Music] well hello you're loaded oh got it all whoop there went your book three sippy cups a book and i i think you're trying to carry too much look at you did you get it oh good job good morning oh there we go sippy cup did you sleep good yeah did you turn around uh-huh why don't you bring them over here and put them on the in the sink and mommy get you some milk i want probably this one i always put them on the counter okay did you sleep good i didn't wait thank you buddy yes guess what xander there's gonna a truck's going to come with a bunch of trees on it oh we're gonna they're gonna put trees in the hole that daddy dug and the painters will come to the house the painters aren't coming quite yet today just the trees today does that sound good there they come here let your sippy cup in here this is kind of exciting isn't it that's so good look at that [Music] that is cool [Music] oh what are we gonna do buddy put the trees in put the trees in the hole and they're gonna put you in there [Music] i see a tree coming the goats are even watching they're like what is that that we could [Music] all right so the trees are here they still need to be planted they're just put in the hole they need to be leveled and there's a thunderstorm coming tonight with pretty severe winds nolan's going to do that tonight i'm like this poor guy he's got so much to do and he had told me to call our internet company to see if we can bury this line and so he got most of it dug but our son was out here having fun filling parts of it back up again so nolan has to come back and re-dig that out and then finish digging it through the flower bed over to our house so he has a lot to do tonight i'm starting to feel so bad for him because it just seems he works so i know talk about this so much but right now we're both a little bit just yeah feeling i'm feeling kind of guilty like life is just too busy life isn't meant to be this busy anyway and i want to help him out this is hard work he told me i'm not supposed to but i'm first going to see if i can get these trees filled in at least the smaller one and staked off i went and got stakes and rope i have to do something my nephew might be able to come help me but for now i'm gonna see what i can do it's hard work but um yeah my husband really needs a break the biggest thing i'm not sure of is getting the tree level um otherwise just filling the hole with dirt isn't that bad but these trees are heavy getting it level is just yeah anyway wish me luck i am a tapestry life left [Music] stain on me where would i be if you're not with me you see the beauty [Applause] in broken things that's hard work all right so i think i have this one done at least good enough till nolan comes home i have it tied off he might have to tighten it more and stomp dirt around a little bit more or something but if it rains i think it's good to go it's hard getting these trees straight i look at it this way and because trees aren't perfectly straight i'm like is it straight isn't it looking at the other way hi i don't know how to plant trees but hopefully that'll survive a thunderstorm if it comes through as far as a tree this is called a blaze maple so this is a smaller one i'm not sure about tackling that bigger one over there oh i'm just gonna go in check my phone see what my nephew is saying that big one i think i'm gonna need a young man's muscles to help me i'm now going to see if i can finish digging this trench for the internet line see if i can surprise nola when he gets home i'm not sure if i can but i should be able to hopefully anyway we'll we'll see and the painter's calling [Music] hello janine speaking through me when everything's unraveling there is a scarlet thread open the stuff that had zander had pushed back in that wasn't too bad this part right here it's just a lot of hard work just a small section i might let it up to him i got one tree planted i'm waiting for my nephew to come to help me with the other tree we'll see i need to go clean out some things i need to go take the jeep to my brother to see if he can fix something in it and yeah the rest of my day is pretty full oh what a long day i'm tired but my nephew came help me get these trees in bless his heart nolan is home and finishing up digging the rest of the trench i think we'll call that a day [Music] look the dad finished digging the trench already no most of it was mum no it wasn't it looks good [Music] [Music] well centurylink is here they're burying my line they're running it into the side of the house and we're just gonna run a cord out the window to the box until the kitchen is torn apart we can um run the phone lines through the studs we're getting there we're getting there is this the same one these are different ones right our internet line is done in the ground hooked up now in about half an hour there's going to be another another gentleman coming to give me a quote on some porch pillars and a little overhang that we're doing on the outside of the porch this week has just been crazy all the things happening in last week as well you know how it is when just one bad thing after the next happens to you and it's just like when whatever stop um there's been a couple things i'm actually not going to mention on here but just events that just uh you're like what next anyway one of the things was nolan's truck has been giving us issues and lights are flashing and we've been pushing it off going to the shop and then boom one night we're running home from town and it stops right in the middle of town the alternator is bad and the other day he's like okay let's run this into the shop our mechanic is like three ish miles down the road we're not too far from him four miles maybe so i hop in the car to follow him down because we had to take the truck he wasn't even like up our first road and he was waiting for me with the hood popped he needed a jump start and so i jump started him and he took off flying and about a mile down the road i come up to him again and he stopped waiting for me and suddenly it just started striking me so funny he was not finding it amusing which made it even funnier to me this couple mile stint we were just constantly i put the cables on and we'd charge it a bit and then he'd get in the truck start it i'd yank the cables off and slam the hood shut and he would like go take off to see how far he could get to the next toe he had to do it again i shared it on my instagram stories i'll share it here what i shared there if you don't follow me on instagram check me out at the mennonite mom we did finally make it to the shop but it was so funny my husband was not impressed all right one there go oh see how far he makes it this time did he make it did he get stopped oh let's see the shops like right across the stuffs [Music] hold on down there's the shop this is our one two three fourth jump go start it uh-oh yo oh man these kind people were helping us but nolan made it the truck was here right here is the shop let's see how far he made it he made it to right here let's just say he's not a happy camper we had to jump start it like four or five times and the people were gonna help push it to get it to the shop but we got it here just so now we're boosting it one more time so we can back it up to there how you feeling he says it's the alternator okay just so it just died right in this parking spot oh this is funny i just made it anyway so like my car is like falling apart and needs work it needs inspection the truck just quit it's in the shop so we're out of that we bought a jeep grand cherokee we were trying to do the whole dave ramsey thing get a cheap car what we can afford not put one on payments and we got one with like a salvage title and we've been working at fixing it up and it's just been nickeling and diming us the whole way and the paperwork and every part is just taking forever with this whole covet thing and we finally have it fixed up ready to go and the paperwork we're waiting on tags and titles so that's technically still not legal and it's still not really the best of a ride so we're like stuck with almost no rides the jeep is not legal oh my car's falling apart and the truck is in the shop so that was one of the events there's been many more and of course the this whole video the thing breaking down trying to get the trench in but hey we're getting there and it looks like the guy's here now to give me an estimate so i need to go and get that done are you gonna put a new concrete in here uh what we're planning to do is just redo it yeah i was going to ask we're planning to put that decking on what do you call it um yeah composite oh okay yeah so would you would you do that after the pillar or before
