the dorm thanking Rina for standing up for him once inside he meets his best friend Coda an enthusiastic gamer a martial artist and a womanizer itsuki was returning to the dorm after the summer vacation and he tells his friend about what he did at home while munching on some homemade cookies another friend of itsuki comes over to them and he invites Koda to play with him tonight if someone invites me like that I would assume it means something other than video games but here he just means video games and Coda refuses as he is on Hiatus itsuki asks him what the fuss was about and his friend tells him it was Fantasy Star online 2 or PSO2 in short an RPG game that is the most popular thing in the entire world right now he often tells itsuki try it out or he will be left behind in this world but our hero thinks that a game is no big deal as he is relaxing in his room mitsuki gets a message from the student council the president wants to meet him in the council office after class he tells this Dakota who gets jealous but then frenby appears and asks itsuki to help them in volleyball practice suddenly Arena passes by and everyone is Smitten by her except her hero she was good looking at the top of her class in both studies and sports and excelled at extracurricular activities too on top of being the most outstanding student in the academy she was modest and kind to everyone and that was why she had a huge fan base on the other hand if soupy was also above average at everything whatever he was asked to do he could do it comfortably well and that is why he was short he just wants to help a newbie learn to play this game but comes out as an overbearing busybody he says that he has just changed classes so that they could level together and itsuki asks him if he changed classes like at school suddenly an emergency Quest pops up and atsuki decides to take it just to get away from the creepy robot who tries to warn him that it's going to be hard nonetheless the noob leaves for an abandoned city where he faces a monster bug called Barker who lays eggs and creates more of its kind the monsters attack him and itsuki is surprisingly good at running and dodging but not so good at fighting he immediately finds himself in danger and Sora comes to his rescue he takes down some bugs and tells itsuki to attack the mother but is easier said than done as the mother bug flies around itsuki finally finds a chance and shoots its head earning praise from a veteran for making a head shot without an aim assist he's over enthusiastic and praises the noob some more before saying that they will meet tomorrow and our hero has no idea that the player behind Soro is Rina the girl who set him up with this job meanwhile there is a stalker who has her eyes set on him itsuki reports his findings to her the next day saying that the most noticeable thing while playing the game was discovering another side of his personality he had never known before Rina is impressed but tells it tsuki not to let his grades dip because of playing PSO2 otherwise the school will ban the game inside its premises and even with that condition he decides to take up this job bothers other players the trouble snaps and threatens to give away atsuki's real identity as he hurls insults at him he calls him incompetent and worthy of only doing grunt work even in real life and suddenly itsuki realizes who was behind the troll itsuki asks if he is you since the latter gets flustered on hearing this nickname itsuki reveals his full name in front of everyone without realizing replies that it was just common sense she brings more people to him and they are all regulars in the game the two samurais in the game are actually a married couple with a kid most people don't even get a gamer girlfriend and this guy got a gamer wife and the old Butler in the group is actually the hot-blooded robot no one looks like they're game characters with itsuki being the only exception and seeing him get so friendly with others Rina gets jealous she goes to a shooting game to vend her frustration but she can't hit anything there's a huge crowd around her because she was the famous aloof Warrior but they find her a little unapproachable but then atsuki comes and drags her along and introduces her to the gang everyone is a fan and they want to play with her some time and even though she's hesitant at first itsuki gives her the courage to socialize the group sits down to eat lunch and seeing how itsuki and Rina were so close to each other the gang thinks that they are dating they stare at them curiously and the butler asked a question on behalf of the group but before he can even complete his question both of them deny that they were dating the group had already predicted that this would be her answer and her flustered faces show that they were not being honest this is interrupted when itsuki gets a message from Coda inside the game he tells him that he is also at the convention but he needs help right now he uses some fancy word to say that he was shrouded in darkness with walls everywhere around him but since there are other people with atsuki he can't tell him what happens and abruptly cuts the call the group wonders what happened and the married woman says that recently some weird accidents have been happening like empty cars driving themselves I think that is called a Tesla also there were cases of missing people that seemed to be related to the empty cars so it is automatic Tesla cars kidnapping people they decide to look for coconut on their own and divide themselves into teams of two the child and the butler are in one team then there is the married couple and the unmarried couple they search for Coda but soon the group starts to fall apart and Sora has to intervene to lead them together with her in-game Charisma they find Clues from what Coda has said earlier and come to a storehouse where tsuki finds his cell phone Coda contacts him and asks him to just leave him but with the group behind him atsuki says they won't abandon him and when they finally find him it turns out that there was a big fuss over nothing Coda tells his story starting from how he was disheartened when he sought atsuki on a date and how a girl in a costume gave him an energy drink he chased her to thank her but got lost and then suddenly got a bad stomach and when he entered the toilet and relieved himself he found there was no toilet paper that is why he called his best friend to help itsuki and the Gang leave him alone for that and as he calls him back they don't listen their trip to the convention is over and in the evening the solemn looking Arena thinks it's Sookie she wants to tell him something but just as she is getting to the good part Koda disturbs their moment he asks them to join them on their way home and Reina size before allowing him in and as the two guys talk to themselves completely ignoring her she regrets letting him join them the next day at tsukimi's two very chatty girls in the game Who call themselves the information Brokers one of them talks too much like an idiot and the other makes design that looked really similar to her only with bigger assets itsuki and Rina take on a quest to rescue a small bird-like creature from a darker attack and their numbers have increased a lot but there is someone else in the mission it is AD whose class is Summoner and she outperforms both of them combined she summons the same bird at tsuki sometimes imagines on her shoulder and uses it to defeat loads of Darkness at once itsuki and Rina are impressed by her and want to add her as a friend so they can form a party but I says that she has no time to play along with them and walks away soon isuki gets something out of being a student council member the annual free trip to Hot Springs as they reach there they are welcomed by their in-game friends Samurai dude and his wife Who oversee the bath house Samurai is excited to play PSO2 with itsuki later but his wife has forbidden him from doing that because he is losing focus at work itsuki thinks that is quite strict but then he finds out that his girl is also going to do the same with him he's forbidden from playing ps02 anymore because she found out that his grades have been dipping ever since he had joined the game he tries to explain the obvious but Rina is not going to tolerate his excuses she clearly tells him that until he gets his grades back to normal in the next assessment he cannot play the game and after the meeting is concluded and everyone gets their time off she gives him a mountain of problems to solve it turns out everyone in the student council also plays PSO2 the guy with glasses comes to give itsuki some company as they chat about the game and their grades he had a girlfriend in the game but she refused to meet him in real life but as itsuki learns that he was talking about the cat girl he almost tells him that there was a Burly physical laborer behind that cute character I am pretty sure he is going to go through what I did after that a girl by the name of Mikko comes to his room who is up set because Rihanna refused to come to the hot springs with her since she was preparing the practice problems for atsuki to solve she is jealous of him and says that it was because of him that Rina worked extra hard even though she was swamped by her duties as president mitsuki finally understand that she was doing it all for him and that he was the only one responsible for his falling grades so he starts working on the practice problems with greater dedication and by the time he is finished his already night and he is suffering from back pain itsuki decides to take a bath otherwise his trip to the hot springs would be wasted and he meets the samurai Dune on the way who suggests he go to the outdoor bath which is empty right now and he even leaves his game in console there but itsuki is a hand-packed boyfriend who does not dare to disobey Rina even though they are not officially together yet but he just logs into the game to tell Coda that he will not play with him today meanwhile Rina is looking for him with the food she prepared for him and after some investigation she finds out that he has completed his exercises and is now in the outdoor bath she also enters the outdoor bath but don't get your hopes up there is a wall between the men's and women's baths they talk about things when suddenly they hear someone scream they rush out to find that it was the samurai hand on her itsuki then sees that air was the one who saved the girl from the Cocoon now she Dodges the attacks of the monsters as she picks up Miko but then one attack barely grazes maiko's arm and leaves a scar that should not be possible inside a game now even eye is getting overwhelmed and just as some monsters are about to get her a blue-haired woman saves her who is probably her boss hazitsuki takes his eyes off him he notices that his girl is in danger a monster had grabbed her and was about to attack her itsuki goes ballistic cutting through the enemy line and slashing every monster that comes in his way he saves Rina and then hacks down the monster holding her the monster disintegrates into dark black smoke and I and her boss realize what it truly is itsuki's body glows and seems like he is just leveled up by killing stronger foe Coda and others come to help at tsuki but just as he sees A's game character he swoons saying that this was the same girl who gave him the energy drink at The Fan Fest and stole his heart but before did he make to talk to her I and her boss teleport and nitsuki has no no idea how to explain anything that happened here the next day he talks to Rina about what happened yesterday and she refuses to believe that Mikko was inside the game and suddenly the missing girl returns with a cover story she collapsed on the side of the road yesterday and was taken to the hospital but she is fine now and apologizes to Rina for making her worried isuki also thinks that this is a valid explanation and that there is no way Mikko could be in the game but he spots that her hand was bandaged exactly where she got injured in the game yesterday Mako does not know about the cut and itsuki says that she got it when she was rescued last night he asked her why she was inside the game and she thinks that he is just pestering her even though she does not remember any details about collapsing Rita stops at tsuki from asking any more questions and takes Mikko away with her so that they can make amends and then AG comes out of nowhere and tells it tsuki not to poke his nose where it doesn't belong the most important thing was that Michael was back and safe is flustered and asks her if she was not the one who saved the girl inside the game but I calmly replies that she did not play any games last night and walks away leaving him confused and doubtful
