oh oh that's the power of the straight pipe on there you wouldn't get that kind of performance with a normal muffler that's all to do with the straight pipe so we're gonna stick this son of a and uh probably in i don't know what that is there be probably be one now we got this big thing in mind we're gonna just step it out of the way hey guys how's she going tonight well i've been combining here all day just giving her antoine's over there you just barely see his light flickering through the trees quite a ways way on the other side of the half section but ah this canola is making me happy so far that's for damn sure it's yielding a lot better than i thought it was going to ah i've been saying there's lots of rain on the forecast in the way here so we're gonna kind of do our best here to uh get this done tonight it's 175 acres this piece there's not a lot a lot left but there's a ways to go but as long as the wind stays up i think we'll be good we're running with the 1682 and ant antoine has the uh 860 going and rob is trucking amanda got the veiling done she had a real battle today with things not really wanting to work right with the net wrap i think it's just because it was so goddamn dry and hot again but whatever it's done so anyway i suppose we will uh keep on chuggalogging along here i had to drop a gear when uh the sun went down because these low spots that have a real heavy spot swath started to uh oopsie started to slog really hard going through so not really hard but you do a lot more when you're combining than you do when you're plugged so fun to keep it on the safe side whoa the drop and everything but i mean she's coming in there pretty good anyways but i suppose keep on thrashing we'll you here when we shut down or catch fire or get done or get drained out or whatever the hell happens walked in a bit well we're in the thick of it now there's lightning and all around us and it's been trying to rain a little bit spitting on and off we only got like 10 minutes left there's raindrops again rob just ran across the field to get the other truck because we both have uh we both dumped in the freightliners so just in case we weren't going to have enough room to uh both finish dumping here with what we got left i figured better go get the empty truck end up with uh half a hopper on a combine in the pouring green wouldn't look so very smart i don't think anyway we are real close to being done this one here so i guess we'll keep on chugging away here and i'll bring you back when we're done i don't think there's very much left so that's kind of nice i like combining canola though because it's money money in the bank especially this here anyway yeah 1682's hungry so we're gonna let her eat we'll talk to you in a bit there you have it rob was saying he found a couple more sloths over here somewhere in the darkness so i'll put her over there and see what they can see but i got a fairly decent little uh pile in the uh hopper here again oh there's some lightning again but yeah no it's done not too bad i don't know maybe just a tiny little bit over little bit over 30 anyways i was kind of expecting 25 so bushels an acre so i'm happy with that like i said especially the price inside the highest i've seen so far was 20 and 86 cents picked up in the yard the one one outfit was offering so that would be uh pretty swell with this guy anyways but anywho it's a little after midnight i think that's enough for today we got another quarter that's ready to go but we gotta move everything over there and open up in the dark and all that that's just going to be more trouble than it's worth i think so we'll leave that till tomorrow anyway i guess i'll try find my way back to where i'm going to get to here in the dark and i'll talk to you guys tomorrow morning well it's the next day you can tell by the straw on the ground the straw is tough the grain is dry or was dry but we're uh we're just in the midst of getting rained out by mist you can't see that on the glass or not not really but ah yeah i don't know playing with fire with canola when she gets tough like that so the uh it was testing eight dry it's 14. whatever we had done a whole headland and a half and antoine done a few quite a few back and forths over by the road the wind is the sloths around here and blowing it all over the place but that's nothing new that's about par for the course honestly ah christ oh well here's what it is there's sweet all you can do about it so we'll go and dump this and yeah we'll be done combining for a while because there's rain every day for like the next four or five days so whatever give us a chance to get a few things uh fixed up and sorted out i got some that breaking i want to go cultivate it again and has some desiccating he has to do i mean you can't do when it's raining but it can uh doesn't need to be as dry as it does combining so even if there's uh an afternoon where the swads are still tough while the standing stuff will be dry enough to go and spray so oh well anyway i guess we'll head to the truck and dump i'm up to my cross auger quants really got a little bit on them again so anyway other than that we'll talk to you in a few this bins dang near full and then we'll have to move over to empty the truck out ah then we're gonna go get the 2188 set together there the rollers on the pickup that we've been waiting for um and then rob when he's done work he's gonna come over and turn pull a load out of each bin and put it back in just to see what it's doing because some of that said some of that barley went in the bin there at 40 something degrees and they're the odd green one in it so anyway there we go so we got her fixed here i didn't have a pin so i just put a nail in it for right now just to get her going but this cable's on its way out but the cable got underneath so had to take that pulley off because it uses one cylinder to run your uh wings for your up and you're down eh there we go nice i told pawn just to try going 100 feet here i want to see what kind of job it's going to do so let the 835 percolate for a minute and i'll talk to you in a second [Applause] [Music] so he's doing a pretty nice job drier than but with some rain in the forecast that'll be all right [Applause] man is that doing a nice job yeah i was kind of worried it wasn't going to do a very good job just but how dry it is but it's working really good nice like when a plan comes together juan's having fun now he's going to calibrate the whole field probably anyway talk to you in a minute well that didn't stay in the bin for very long before it's leaving a little contract 2500 bushels of canola here and they're ready for it so we're gonna haul it on the weekend thursday here today it's actually grandpa henry's 89th birthday so we're going to be going out for supper here but ah i went to elevate a little bit this morning got a flat tire on the tractor so i came back here and we turned all of the grain took a load out put it back in all the way along to make sure it was still good because that's that barley we call them bind when it was 48 degrees outside but uh actually they wanted me to haul tomorrow and i said no because we're going to look at some more cows that'll be tomorrow's plan but anyway i guess get this truck loaded up and we'll talk to here in a few come on [Laughter] different thoughts um and he never gave it back boy well i don't even remember where we left off it's been raining raining raining some more it's not raining today but it's supposed to rain again for the next few days so just came out here to take a look at everybody and move their salt licks and stuff around but anyway i guess i think that's where i'm gonna leave you guys for now so make sure you hit that like button comment subscribe all that good stuff talk to all you in the next one [Music] you
