Harry Potter: Slytherin Bloopers and Funny On-Set Moments | OSSA Movies

playing a villain isn't easy but it's even harder to play a likable one as these Harry Potter actors did obviously I had the best hair from Tom Felton almost killing Alan Rickman on the set he turned around and gave me a look like he never ever want to see to Ray finds making a little kid cry and Helena Bonham Carter channeling her in her villain that was terrible I felt really mortified let's see how the slytherins had their sneaky fun although Tom Felton isn't like Draco Malfoy in real life he could be intimidating on the set even Daniel Radcliffe got scared of him once the two boys were having fun filming a quidditch scene but in a split second the situation turned pretty dangerous or at least it seemed to whoops nice I said just look at how terrified Dan is we hope he didn't get in trouble on another occasion it was Tom's turn to feel the danger it happened when Alan Rickman almost fell victim to Felton's carelessness let me explain they were filming a scene where Malfoy was walking behind Snape and before they began Rickman said only one phrase to his younger co-star don't step on my cloak Tom didn't even know what to say back I sort of giggle of Death Eaters and I looked at each other and thought is he joking nope not joking let's take the director was very keen for me to walk as close as I can to Alan and of course it didn't take him long to actually step on rickman's cloak and yet the bear mind his clothes is attached around his neck nearly killed the poor man then he turned around and gave me a look like never ever want to see luckily for Tom but not for Alan someone else stepped on his cloak in the next take then it saved the young man from trouble yet to this day he remains traumatized I'll never forget the words don't step on life look well Alan certainly was good at terrifying the younger cast at the beginning of the series most of the child stars were afraid of him see someone who also holds himself almost with a snake-like presence so when you're a youngster that's going to be very very daunting um Tom was so scared of Alan that he couldn't even talk to him so it took him about six years to pluck up the courage to say anything more than good morning Alan and Felton wasn't the only one constantly having to remind myself that it was but it was terrifying with Snape who was really scary but all of them eventually realized that Alan was a remarkable human being with a brilliant sense of humor when they filmed the third movie he and Michael Gambon decided to prank Daniel Radcliffe really really funny and for you all the students were sleeping on the floor of the Great Hall and Dan was lying next to a girl he liked at the time which made the whole experience even more embarrassing for him we enter completely our own world you know yep you heard that correctly Rickman and Gambon put a farting machine inside Dan's sleeping bag and the Dumbledore actor turned it on while he was saying his lines it's completely our own world and we'd like to we like to swim in the deepest Waters just look at Alan's face here nothing to be scared of right but Rickman wasn't the only Slytherin actor who could turn into a completely different human being in an instant Tom once shared that his on-screen father could also do it yeah he was smiling and lovely and being Jason and the moment they said the words action he just turned and gripped me for for the first time as Lucius and I was I was terrified immediately but despite it all Lucius became a favorite character for many Harry Potter fans any ideas why obviously I had the best hair yeah that's what makes Malfoy senior so likable yet at the same time some fans had a problem with them all because he almost used an unforgivable curse on Harry in the second film this actually wasn't in the script Lucius was only supposed to raise his wand before Dobby stopped him but Isaacs wanted to say a spell to give more gravitas to the scene the problem was he didn't know any I remember turning to someone equipped going to spell and he went nahi I think I don't know what I meant to a spell he said yeah just the most horrible deadly spell in the entire Potter verse and who could have possibly known what this tiny improvisation would lead to I got a mailman and thousands and thousands of people people are still annoyed about it how dare you you were going to kill Harry Potter I didn't know so just let it go okay meanwhile another Slytherin wizard also improvised the scene but this time it only alarmed his co-stars we're talking about Ray fines and his take on Voldemort's speech on the Deathly Hallows part 2. they shot that scene multiple times and for each new take the actor would say a totally different speech definitely kept the cast on their toes we shot it for weeks and you never quite knew who he was going to turn on what say even but Tom Felton was the one who got the biggest surprise in the form of a very weird hug from the Voldemort actor in my head I'm going what is he doing yeah incredibly awkward um but also chilling what can we say Vines fully embraced his character but you probably don't know how much he added to his performance just for the sake is scaring others I wanted him to be really as scary as it could be to attain his goal the actor came up with quite a few ideas including the way Voldemort walked snake-like elements to his movement silky smooth silent and even with the unique way he held his wand it has a hook on it so it can hook I can hold my hand like that at some point the actor found a way to check if he was terrifying enough as a villain here's what happened when fines had his Voldemort makeup fully on he walked past the son of a script supervisor who was on the set that day anyway I passed by this little child I just looked at this boy he was burst into tears poor kid probably still remembers this day just like the actor who played Neville Longbottom remembers his ear getting injured on the set all because Helena Bonham Carter got a bit too into her role as Bellatrix Lestrange in the Order of the Phoenix improvising how to torture Neville she decided to stick her wand into his ear like a Q-tip but it quickly went wrong as I put it in he went that way and and I I think I actually did full blood inside his ear since Matthew Lewis kept on acting despite the pain Helena had no idea what she'd done until they finished filming the scene it was terrible I felt really modified sure she did after all Elena doesn't enjoy torturing others like Bellatrix did yet at the same time the actress and her character have of few things in common for example do you remember bellatrix's evil laughter foreign turns out Helena has a similar one in real life too that is both creepy and cool isn't it director David Yates also shared that the actress seemed to be as insane as her character Alanis did some really crazy stuff some of which has ended up in the film and some of which hasn't hasn't Helena actually had a lot of fun playing the super dark Bellatrix I'm definitely but milking every moment that I have I've probably got four lines I wonder if she wanted this to end up in the movie as well to be acting exercise isn't it what's more Helena even helped create bellatrix's costume I was sort of had the feeling that because she's in prison for 14 years there's a dilapidated quality to her in the way that she was once intensely glamorous and very beautiful but it sort of concede she did a great job and now we can't imagine Bellatrix looking any other way well the same can surely be said about her co-stars even this one Jamie whalet who played Malfoy's henchmen crab got involved in a curious story behind the scenes although he was bad at orbology in the series it turns out in real life he's a good botanist when Waylon was 20 he grew as many as 10 cannabis plants at his mother's place he got into a lot of trouble for that and didn't even return to play crab in the final movies meanwhile the actor behind Goyle also had his own legal issues Josh Herdman was once caught drawing graffiti outside a pub in Scotland the pub owner was Furious about it at first but as soon as
