first of all i'm grateful for this woman of god i'm so grateful how she has blessed my life in so many ways and she could be in her own church on this morning or anywhere in the world bishop jake said that the kingdom advances through relationships and finally me and i finally have authentic real genuine bff and i thank god for you hey celebrate the woman of god [Music] come on let's give it up for dr jazz y'all that's the best that's my buddy right there oh wow y'all be seated today i want to shout out uh my corninea family that's in the house and uh we have had some kind of a beast of a conference haven't we oh my gosh i told her i didn't feel no need to talk about nothing i really didn't and of course the lord kind of convicted me on it but i didn't feel i felt like god gave us such amazing word and amazing instruction how many felt that over the weekend [Music] listen uh dr jazz is always saying i'm so bad at this and they didn't give me a card on what i'm supposed to say so i got some tapes on self-help oh yeah that is good though wait a minute i know seriously i didn't know it had the titles on the back uh when your title mocks you and uh you've got a lot to deal with oh that's oh that's okay i could have preached that this morning and turn your anointing on yourself we want to be we want to get quick bring all that home and seeking it work at home oh i got no way man okay it's already starting slow 12 keys to critical success and get out of your comfort zone because there's no growth in your comfort zone and i always talk i love talking about procrastination i know nobody in here has problems with progress i know you don't know you don't either because that would be the arrogant assumption that god owes you another chance to do tomorrow what he gave you a chance to do today so i know you would you don't mess with that do you don't do that and then of course surplus grace y'all it's all kind of stuff huh she said i'll be signing and then no way to lose but you get a chance to see pictures of me bald and stuff and they showed it on my thing i was cute do you know i was cute ducky i was cute and uh you know uh my my buddy is here danielle is here and richard and i love them and so i call her ducky she calls me teach and we have the opportunity and i say opportunity now i didn't say it then to go through the the death of a loved one that was very dear to us and god taught me so much about it and how to uh how to go through it successfully and i believe that there's a way that we're supposed to posture ourselves when folk pass on [Music] it's okay i'ma just be prepared darling give those out i shouldn't give them out because they acted so dry i'm feeling some kind of way about it i ain't lying say what now oh and darlene said to tell y'all be a little bit more you know kind and loving toward me because you don't know what it takes being a teacher to get up behind a preacher that's some that's some hellaciousness okay yeah go ahead miss neetra the prophet go ahead all right so they don't stop paying attention to me so you going to do what you're doing all that shut down did you see a dog somebody in the back feeling some kind of weight nature i would announce my texts but i can tell they're not listening to myself i will trust in the lord i will trust in [Music] i come on there we go i will try that's baptism come on come on hold them don't they're in charge let's pray this morning father we love you and we worship you god we give you praise jesus because you're so amazing you're so amazing your mercy is amazing your grace is amazing your kindness is amazing the favor you put on our lives is amazing and lord we're so grateful and so lord we come to this moment desiring that you would speak to us what we need and we just thank you for that god because nobody knows what we need like you sometimes we even think we know and we don't know but you always do so lord give us that and lord i'm so aware that if this was just a lecture then my study and preparation would be enough but because this is a moment of impartation i need your power i need you to move i need you to do what only you can so holy spirit we open our hearts up we open ourselves up intentionally have your way oh lord i know it we've been saying it forever but i mean it so much have your way this morning in the mighty name of jesus amen and amen amen well as i said i am a teacher so get your bible how many got old school bibles the old schools how many got new school which would be phone and ipad how many folk ain't in school at all and thank god for the screens where are you amen thank god hey man i'm glad to have you come on hold up whatever you have or what you think about say this is my bible it is god's word it reveals to me god's will therefore it is the final authority to which i submit to settle all the issues of my life it is the standard of my conduct and the basis of all my expectations shout it out i am come on shout it out i am what it says i am i possess what it says i possess and i can do absolutely everything it says i can do turn until you never know that's right come on let's do this john chapter 20 yes john chapter 20 verses uh 15 through 20. amen i'm just checking to say all right let me start reading john chapter 20 verses 15 through 20. says jesus said unto her woman why weepest thou whom seeketh thou she supposing him to be the gardener said she said look here if you done done something with him wherever you took him tell me now and i'll go get him y'all bible don't read like that all right you need to kneel paraphrase jesus said unto her mary and she turned herself and said unto him rabboni which is to say master verse 17 jesus answered excuse me jesus said unto her touch me not for i am not yet ascended to my father but go to my brethren and say unto them i am ascending to my father and to your father to my god and your god mary magdalene came and told the disciples she had seen the lord and that he had spoken these things unto her now then the same day at evening being the first day of the week when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the jews came jesus and stood in the midst of them and said unto them peace be unto you and when he had so said he showed them his hands or as luke says he said handle me go ahead and put your hands where you need to then were the disciples glad when they saw the lord that's good i want to talk today and just kind of teach you a lesson that i think the spirit of god spoke to me entitled finally me for real properly handling your new reality properly handling your new reality finally me for real i believe means that you and i have come to terms an acceptance of who we are our strengths our weaknesses okay one yes our desires needs our past and the possibilities of the future means you've come to grips with who you are hopefully finally me for real means i hope it means i have been intentional about the qualities that i admired and wanted to be a part of the fabric of my character and so i've developed them and choose to walk in them yeah finding me for real now when i say it it means i've come to a place of appreciation of my scars and proactive wisdom regarding my scabs you understand what i'm saying see because the scab as one of my members told me merlin told me he said bishop how amazing that a scab seems much like a scar but it's still in a transitory state and if it's introduced into the wrong environment it can peel off and reveal a fresh wound i know you lacked in super deep this morning but some of your stuff ain't a scar it's still a scab it's still active it's still open and you got to make sure that joker heals but i'm thankful for my scars i have quite a few and i appreciate every last one of them no i do i appreciate my scars i do because scar the things that we hate looking at about ourselves and we're really some strange creatures because scars ought to make you glad no because look sometimes when a person has passed away they use scars to identify if that was them because scars are identifiers but if you're still alive then your scar is a symbol of a battle that you made it through well y'all oh lord i wonder does anybody have any scars i'm not ashamed because it means i went through something but it means i came through it all right if i can show you my scar i made it oh lord have mercy you know and it's really interesting too because if you have a scar that you don't like you can make it pretty oh no sit down i'm not talking about tattooing around it which you know some people do that ain't mad at you but you can make a a really bad looking scar beautiful when you use it to keep somebody else from being hurt see i'm not ashamed to say i'm molested because by sharing that and talking about it i've seen women and men delivered y'all not saying that anything i've seen people who felt nasty their whole lives break free from it because i use my scar to help them okay let me ask this so if i went into a burning bill let's say you're in a house it's late night man it's you're knocked out you don't got that sleep that sucks back up in your throat you know that thing that catches like that you're knocked out so you understand you ain't heard nothing you don't smell nothing you you done you incorporated the smell of smoke into your dream you in there sleeping time and i'm at a barbecue and you're getting ready to burn up and i see the smoke from my house and i run and i run into your house and there's flames everywhere and i'm like oh my god and i break through and i and i wake you up and i grab you and i said come on we gotta go and i throw you and i'm pulling and we and we make it out and i push you out the door and as i do a beam that's burning falls and hits me in the face and i'm cute as i can be so that would be on in the natural sense a tragedy this means saying man come on come on no don't don't lie and i put on all this makeup today that woman hooked me up now don't do it but if the thing hits me in the face and smee don't have burning likes like smears your skin now to everybody else i may look strange but not to you because to you i would you would be able to rub my face and tears spring up in your eyes you would see my scar as beautiful because it kept you from destruction all you got to do if you want to punish the devil for coming for you is use what you've been through to help somebody else [Music] that's how i look at it anyway finally me means that i have decided to love and celebrate the person that i am and i've slammed the door on jealousy oh come on y'all you know it i come on i i've been teaching my church you know guys you know jealousy doesn't even make sense jealousy is an outgrowth of insecurity it it it no it is y'all know it is now it is and i ain't mad but it's just it's it's and and we could we can battle with it if we feel insecure and uh i always say jealousy is displaced anger if you're a christian where my christians are no no if you're a believer then for you to be jealous means you're mad at god because you think he gave them more than he gave you and since you can't roll your eyes at god you roll your eyes at them but jealousy is not logical no it ain't logical now durn now you know i see somebody real small or whatever they i'm watching they're just sucking food down like nothing they just oh my god they go to you at golden corral and you know when you got a little size you try not to put a lot on your plate anyway out in public folks stand next to my that's why she's so big you understand so you at the restaurant and you see them y'all know i'm telling the truth and then you see somebody walk up there they little bitty they look like you can and they fall and they walk in with two plates and a bolt in that moment you could be tempted to feel jealous but jealous is not logical not if i'm a christian because i understand that god has put a vision in the earth and that he's made each of us unique no and i'm gonna say he's he really has made each of us unique and i look at it i always pull every concept into like a cartoon version for me he's made the world is like a puzzle god's vision is like a puzzle and and and when you do a puzzle what do you put in first what do you find first the edges right so some pieces it's easy to see their cornerstones some people there there are certain things that god put in them it's like they're just corner bishop jakes and the jedi cornerstones they they touch all they touch more than one side i mean they got a lot and and then you got those pieces that are made and they got such beautiful patterns on them you instantly know where they go right and then if you have put puddles together you got them pieces that just look tan just tan you know just no extra color if it had a dot on it you could tell where it went or it's just white like you're putting together a cloud but the thing about it is no matter what my piece looks like no matter how my piece is shaped oh i felt a little [Music] no matter how my piece is shaped or what color is on it the punch the picture can't be complete if i'm not in place so you won't i don't mind that your piece is colorful i don't mind that you got a chief cornerstone but the bottom line is the thing is going to be jacked up if i'm not in it so my value is just as good as yours because it takes all of us to make the picture so finally me for real to me means i've decided to love and celebrate myself and i don't i slam the door on jealousy because if it's a real party the more the merrier finally me for real means i'm engaging myself and living my life serving others with confidence it means that you and i have a revelation of who we really are and that god thought enough of us to declare us very good i say it all the time i said you know we look at a sunrise and go oh the majesty of god if you ever want to do something funny i took my senior citizens to the grand canyon when i tell you i laughed till i almost peed on myself i ain't like you're not supposed to say that on tv well because you know you can't you can't take old church mothers to something like that this is when you and again thank god you know i'm i'm mixed you know my birth mother's white so i get a chance to kind of speak from a perspective so all of the white people are like oh this is glorious yes it was so quiet you saw their group because they had gotten off the bus and they were just looking and you saw a few of them you could tell they were safe they were just like then here we go here we came we got a hey oh check [Laughter] oh god you know that thing is real when you get that stuff oh god i was screaming and just watching them man they were just beyond themselves wrecked and i said it's hypocritical though i'm giving it come for you that's what you call a slap on the slide it's hypocritical to look at the grand canyon and ah and ooh or to look at a sunset and all the glory of god and look in the mirror and frown i'm telling if we're going to go by the bible because the bible said when he made the earth and all the stuff he said that's good i did good so when i made the grand canyon oh yeah that's nice that's good when i made sunrise oh that's good he said but when i made you y'all not reading you're not in the scripture no get it in your spirit when i made you god said i separated the work i did with you then the work i did with that that's good but you're very y'all ain't gonna help me pray but somebody say you're very good i don't care if nobody look your way god said i'm very good i've decided i'll agree with god instead if we're going to be filing me for real let's define it now obvious true or it's not you see what i'm saying so any thought that tries to get in my head to make take me away from what he said i have to throw that thing down as soon as it hits because that's a lie all right let's go back all right stay with it now so what we experienced in these last couple days was a was a downloading of revelation i remember me turned you understand what i'm saying do you rest in peace not even bringing up all the stuff we got from dr phillips and dr dallas and all the people dr richardson and m.c like not even bringing that up my baby from uh from jamaica that killed everything standing without even we had revelation but here is the reason god sent the teacher today a little slow talking but you know he gave me something an experience a revelation is like an experience and and if you're not careful you will let an experience try to run your future and it's not strong enough on its own okay okay i did an example in the conference now now if you were at the conference i don't want to hear nothing from you don't mess with me now i'm talking to the guys that were not at the conference who am i talking to all right so if uh we were talking about how god has been good to us you ever had somebody give you a holy ghost handshake that thing is a blessing ain't it okay well i just put mine out just in case all right nobody came you ever had one where they put a little something in your hand you start doing like you understand one of them handshakes how many people have had somebody just walk up and hand you money just you couldn't even answer now for my guy how many men have never had that happen you ain't never had nobody walk up and just hand you money are y'all serious no i'm not mad it's not their fault okay you never had that happen so chances are if i ask you if i said man i'm believing god that somebody's you know gonna walk up and hand me money you'll be like yeah you need to put your prayers somewhere else because that is not even fitting to happen right cause that stuff don't happen in your mind in your mind it doesn't happen right okay come here all right so let's see let's see if your experience is something we should go from let's see because based on what you said people won't walk up and hand you money so you could be telling people tearing down their belief system because you're going off your experience so all right i walk up to you so i handed you some money okay thank you all right so now watch this so your experience that was telling you it couldn't happen was lying because just that fast are y'all seeing what i'm saying so watch this so we did that example thank you doc we y'all give him his tithe envelope though don't let him miss that and his clergy appreciation day i just want to throw that out no but don't know just check what i'm saying okay give him a second y'all help him for a second help him he feel it that's something in his heart okay okay all right so let's get back so now here's the thing that was cool right so now his experience has changed so his expectation is different so that's why you never let your experience dictate your expectation because your experience can change just like but that's great but it's it could serve as a danger zone because if you walked out of here and something negative happened that took the 300 and ask you for another 300 it would shine a put a stain on the experience and the faith that was built could then be damaged hear the sins holy spirit gave me an experience can quickly lose its influence this is the central theme of the sermon an experience can quickly lose its influence if not properly protected and promptly reinforced okay let me say it again because i need to get ahold of this right and experience no matter what oh god you know we can go in boom on the ground rolling head bent back those are critical but the experience can quickly lose its influence over your future if it is not properly protected properly what and promptly reinforced come on now we're getting ready to get in it now see whenever you saw god doing something in an experiential manner especially like a healing or something he gave them special instructions do you remember in mark chapter eight just make a note of it verse 22-26 you remember when he had the blind man they let him out of the town because he already knew there was too many negative influences in the town to build his faith come on bring me your mind so he takes him out of town and he lays hands on him and he says what do you see do you see anything he said i do i see ministries now remember god don't ever want to leave you seeing people as bigger and better because when you see people it's tree on things we do with trees and scriptures either cut them down and hang ourselves on them people still doing the same thing with trees with people they see us better they either cut them down or they sacrifice their identity and hang themselves to be like them y'all not going to have church with me so so what did he do he laid hands on him he said do you see anything i see ministries he said oh no he said and they're walking they seem like they're progressing i ain't going away she said well um let me touch you again so he touched him again and then he says he made him look up and he saw every man clearly now you would think jesus would say go tell everybody jesus said go straight home and don't tell nobody why would you not want me to publish that you had given me my sight why would you not want me to tell it eventually it's gonna come out it may come out eventually but right now i need you to go home in a protected environment so that you don't expose your miracle too soon to adverse circumstances that can make you doubt it and open the door for the enemy i need somebody i need you okay okay okay okay and this ain't just a guy that maybe ain't got no depth this thing goes deep though look at peter look at peter y'all remember peter was so racist and everything you remember just say yes i can hurry now because i can't keep you in church all day y'all ain't got no clock counting down either that's scary for a teacher you better put a sign up tell me how long all right so so so peter y'all remember jesus he goes up on the house top jesus you know lets down this blanket and says ryan's killing need he say he need that i don't need no mess like that that's unclean i'm not eating that god said i didn't drop this mess down from heaven how are you going to come at me like that he said what i have cleansed don't you call unclean and he's like well okay i see what you're saying you ever heard people i hear you but he didn't really hear so he did it again he's like you know i'm working with you but i'm not hungry he lying i ain't hungry so he did it again and so peter got the revelation for what happened a few years well it wasn't even a few years later they say paper about some nuts almost a year later he's over in galatia and now he was so strong that people could be oh yeah when a gentile gets saved there just to save everybody else but then after a while because he didn't reinforce the revelation that he got he got around some other folk that didn't believe and kind of backsliding his stuff y'all remember because paul said when i saw him i blacked out on him in front of everybody i withstood him to his face see it's possible for you to receive a revelation that could completely change your life but if you don't protect it and promptly reinforce it you run the risk of losing it it will lose its influence what about john the baptist john the baptist gets the revelation you remember he's there baptizing and and jesus walks up and uh he stops the whole service he said wait a minute wait behold all the folk i've been talking about behold the lamb of god that takes away the sin of the whole world he didn't he said in front of everybody he was convinced right y'all didn't go to sleep did have i share with you what you do when you get sleepy when you get sleepy you stand up and go and that way i'm encouraged and you get a chance to wake up so let's stay with it okay let's just give me a little bit longer so he says behold the lamb of god that takes away the sin of the whole world and then he got put in prison i used to be strong enough for my season if you're not strong enough for your season if you've not properly reinforced the revelations that god gives you then you can get into a season where all kinds of tests and trials and temptation break down the truth that you already know and so john the baptist though he knew this is the lamb of god that takes away the sin of the whole world after he sat in prison a while the woman of god said god get ready to work a miracle in your life and you're right [Music] and that thing hold you for about a week or two did that i ain't worried about god i already spoke that word over hey over my life and then around week five and then week 19 and now you're sitting in prison and next thing you know you're asking are you the one that should come or should i be looking for see revelation has the power to change our lives but most of us have a tendency to not protect it and reinforce it enough for it to catch okay now i got a couple long definitions can y'all let me get them out just kind of nod with me cause it's being recorded you can listen to it later okay and i'm gonna try not to go too fast darling cause she told me i go too fast sometime so let me bring let me slow down a revelation is such a powerful thing bible says we go up by revelation revelation is amazing so when i say revelation what i mean is it is the truth or the perspective of god on your situation on the level of your understanding got it it's the truth or the perspective of god on your situation on the level of your understanding so that you can embrace it with your heart assimilate it into your thoughts or make it your new perspective and then apply it to your decision making here it is again ange a revelation is the truth or the perspective of god on my situation but it's got to come on the level of my understanding see i've got you know i'm not formally trained like dr jazz as i wish i was and i'm studying her and i'm learning a lot but i i don't have i don't have an earned doctorate i don't so she said i am learning a lot trust me but here's the thing i i could i could talk impressively but my mind said if they don't hit people on the level they understand that's a waste of time you say that for the lecture you understand what i'm saying so it's the truth or perspective of god about my situation on the level of my understanding why why would god give me a revelation so i can embrace it with my heart that's what i saw us do at that conference i embrace some stuff in my heart i am that jesus set up an ordinance so he wouldn't be forgotten when i tell you i embraced some stuff with my heart that even though mary and martha approached jesus differently he loved them both when i tell you i embraced some stuff that rest in peace shouldn't just be something we say when they die but it ought to be a reality every day [Applause] that's a revelation so it's the truth and perspective of god on my situation on the level of my understanding so i can embrace it with my heart and then get it into my thought patterns or make it my new perspective so i can apply it to my decision making now here it is here's the next long one if you let me get through this i can run to the text y'all gonna make it all right when i get a revelation see it don't stop with the receiving when when god does something amazing for you you hear a word you say now that's nobody but jesus that's him talking to me that ain't the end the shout is not the conclusion everybody say [Music] amen [Music] the shout ain't the end okay so when i get a revelation that i embrace and support through saturation people will go to the conf not y'all other folk no seriously other folks will go to conference and spend more on what they wear to go and then won't buy the cds and i'm not saying that just because i wore this at the conference i'm not saying y'all know i don't like to dress up like that but i'm saying does that make sense because the shout is not the conclusion of the matter there's some work to be done after god speaks to me that is the difference between whether it was good church or whether it was life changing so when i get a revelation that i embrace and support through saturate through what saturation that means listening to it over and over again getting it in my spirit talking about it meditating on it doing my little yoga and stuff and this stuff like and you know doing on the treadmill through saturation saturate i don't care about the wives of la they i don't know them they don't know me i care about what what the word was on the conference i care about making sure that the shout i gave saturday shows up in my pocketbook on next third y'all ain't having church with me i care about whether my marriage is better so when i get a revelation that i embrace and support through saturation look what it causes it eliminates hesitation and vacillation vacillation when you going back and forth it eliminates that it creates internal motivation and gives you acceleration oh god where my church folks at where my church spoke at come on come on come on come on when i get a revelation and i know god is talking to me then i'm going to embrace and support it through saturation through what i'm going to listen to it over the you still listen to that cd yep yeah no i you should have been on the revelation by now i ain't there i'm still in matthew stay out of my business do you when i get a revelation that i embrace and support through saturation it eliminates hesitation and in vacillation and it creates internal motivation and then it gives me oh y'all got it y'all got it so here's the thing you got to understand i have a job to do after god speaks give me luke chapter four hurry turn turn turn look for where's my time he's supposed to be telling me no y'all i thank you doc y'all say take your time take your time then after serving she stay up too long i can't luke chapter four verse one just watch this real quick y'all know the story it says and being jesus being full of the holy ghost returned from jordan and was led by the spirit into the wilderness he was full of the holy spirit right all right look at verse 14. so whenever i teach i notice this and jesus returned in the in the what power he returned into what he went in full but he came out in the and i always used to teach that you can't get the power of what you're full of till you've been tested and that's true ducky but watch this i realized i missed a step okay i missed the step get matthew 4 11 that's the step i missed i'm almost done i'm going to get to my text i am who y'all matthew oh that's right no read i just watch this right there no this this thing this is real this is to say watch this matthew 4 11. so after jesus does the whole thing with the word satan gone somewhere and on verse 11 then the devil left him and behold angels came in minister y'all ain't having church with me even jesus got reinforcing y'all not talking to me even after the devil left he said though i won this i need to make sure that i get some ministry and too often we run from the place of experience and we run from the place of revelation and we get no protection and no reinforcement and so we walk away and don't have fruit jesus could have said i beat him now i don't need to eat he said no no no i need to wait here and get some divine food i need to reinforce my strength come on now even after you have a oh even after if you've had a hip replacement or anything like that they make you walk the same day i watched my my husband had one they made him walk the same day they you go ahead and start walking you got to learn how to believe but you still have you have helps until it really gets in like it should you only have a church with me oh god now you got to learn to believe god when he says it you got to learn to believe him no okay when he says it you got to learn to believe him okay can i have a sense of time please oh it is oh okay okay oh good oh get me first kings right quick no no just write it down make a note of first kings three you gotta learn to believe god you what did i say i'm telling my when he says it it shouldn't take us six months to decide if we gonna believe what he said i'm gonna tell you how the lord taught me this you all know that story over in second chronicles one where it says solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings y'all remember the story i love that story man just say you remember so i can feel good as i said okay he says he offered a thousand burnt offerings and in that night god came to him and said ask what i shall give for you what do you want and and since the scripture says solomon said well i'm leading all these people i need wisdom i don't know what to do with all you know solomon said i stopped cussing too soon they worried me sometimes i don't know what to do i need wisdom that's what i need i need i need wisdom and and god said because you didn't ask for for wealth and riches and long life or the life of your enemies he said i'll tell you what i'm gonna do i'm gonna give you wisdom and oh lord have mercy that's somebody there's some joy right there i'm gonna give you wisdom sometimes it don't have to be a whole sentence does it he said i'ma give you wisdom and wealth and this and that and for years i'm preaching that man you ain't seen nobody preach that who i'm not tuned up like change keys and if you give god what he asks for he will he'll bless you he'll move it what what is there anybody in you what that's right push me i might holler today but anyway all this time i would preach that text and in my mind i guess i had imagined that he offered the sacrifice and god came down in the cloud and i messed around and read it in the other passage in first kings three it said it was a dream [Music] now i told you i stopped cussing right i backslid that day doc cause i did i came back i just was this momentary backslide cause when i read it it said it was a dream i said what you mean it was a dream what do you mean it was a dream what was a dream yes after he offered all them sacrifice he was tired he went to sleep i said so what was the dream again yeah it was in a dream that god came to him read your bible first kings 3 15. it was in a dream that god came and told him so you said in a dream so am i supposed to am i supposed to claim that if it was in a dream i want you all to notice something when he got up from that dream he was faced with his first impossible situation and he started walking in the wisdom because he so believed what god told him in a how many times has god got to tell you the same thing if solomon couldn't believe what god said in hate as soon as god said it he so believed it even though it was a dream he started walking it out so we need to learn to believe god and walk in it but now here's the thing if i don't reinforce and give myself over to spending time after a move of god after an experience after a revelation if i don't protect what god started y'all ain't talking to me and if i don't if i don't promptly reinforce it i run the risk of the experience the move or the revelation losing its ability to influence my future and so in john chapter 20. i see how serious god is about making sure you really get it god is funny with this getting it thing isn't he look at his throat he's in adam and jesus he said adam i want to take get a gift out of you i'ma get it out of you and it's for you but i'ma have to close you up before i can give it to you because if i leave you open you may get sick before you can enjoy what i gave y'all not not having church with me even when isn't it tricky because for someone who has wanted people to know the whole time who he is and wanted to connect the whole time i'm troubled by his statement in verse 17. you know what has happened jesus has been crucified and he's risen from the dead oh god what amazing thing he's already died he's already kicked the devil's behind y'all said he he has already won beat death hell and the grave he has gotten up and and look so it says he says why are you crying who are you seeking and she you know she thought he was a gardener he says no no no no mary i love it that god can call your name in a certain way and you know it's him isn't that something you in some folk were in the club and heard him call their name they started dancing and some said no that's jesus that won't know that won't i need i know what the reality that i am experiencing i know that i have just been raised from the dead i know i'm walking in a new reality but i need to spend time with the father before i start letting folk grab me i i need to get with him i need to get with him so he can he can lock something down what does he show him he says i need to go spend time with the father now that i have that revelation now that i've had the experience now that god has done that thing in my life i need to let the father and i commune together because it's in the father's presence that things get locked god god's getting ready to do something and then in a week next week god said hold on that thing is about to come then you come in there next week you're counting it's just so uh god said don't be there were some people you know that kept going through that and their lives never changed and if you see them today it's the same thing now i'm not trying to be i'm not being no kind of way toward them because all of us have to stay humble or it could be us except for the grace of god there go i but i started thinking women something is wrong this is a cycle and i realized they never got reinforcement they heard things from the mouth of a person but they didn't wait until god spoke it i'm talking about in private time i'm talking about the work that goes in sundays are amazing and we got to have them what did i just say we what gotta have you got to have them god anoints a mouthpiece i gotta be there to hear what he's saying but if all i do is get it from the mouthpiece and not from the mouth in my everyday time of devotion then when i get out there and circumstances look differently i start doubting what my mouthpiece said trying to tell your neighbor reinforcement is in not gonna mess this up once she got in the door kenny that's what blessed me he had been feeding folk fish sandwiches you know folk love a good fish fry am i right i'm hoping jack's gonna take me for some fish today but that's the thing that blessed me after he accepted finally me for real let the father reinforce that after he spent that time and then quickly got back into motion he's able to walk through doors that was shut but this is what i really love now he ain't just feeding other folk fish he said bring me some fish turn and tell your neighbor you're gonna be able to enjoy it too oh you didn't get you you're getting ready to be able to enjoy your new reality see a lot of times god raises you up and then he wants you to the devil wants you to be under stress but let somebody know i'ma enjoy this new season i'ma enjoy being finally me i'mma enjoy my tennis shoes and jacket i'm gonna be able to eat fish myself i ain't got no problem feeding other folk but it's time [Music] it's let's lose that attitude because it's not a part of the biblical pattern you see this when jesus walked in there he he ate he enjoyed but then he starts saying hey now you can handle me you couldn't touch me earlier i needed that time with my father i ain't stay up there forever because i understood i need to do some other stuff he said okay but i'ma get through these doors now that i couldn't go through before and i'm gonna enjoy but it's not finished until i can speak peace and breathe power on somebody else until i can see me being me is of no benefit i become an idol if all i am is free in myself for you to say oh so i love bishop o'neil i said oh she's just herself okay and i appreciate that and i am but if all that does is spotlight me then i've you see i've messed up i've messed up the purpose he didn't set you free for you to be looked at and and honestly you can be bound if you want to you're going to do this wait a minute wait a minute that is not how jesus acted jesus says i'm in the door i'm enjoying but this thing is going to be fulfilled and complete when i can look at you and say you have peace with yourself you'll be okay with who you are if me being free doesn't help me free you i'm not free indeed my freedom ought to be in deed amen if i can't breathe on you and the power of god in other words to say you know what you may not have had my stroke man there's some stuff like i used to be so addicted to porn this thing was so pitiful he was so sad it was so sad i lost about two or three computers because you know how you say i'm gonna do it no more you throw them out because see back in the day you had to go to the store so you borrowed somebody's car you drove to camp lejeune you drove down to jacksonville a new bern you understand what i'm saying and you went and got your movies and whatnot and then the computer thing and then i threw out a few computers man i'm telling you you could put alcohol and drugs up here i don't know after going through chemo and stuff i found out i enjoyed being high from the drug so but wait a minute you could put alcohol up here i could walk right past it tell them darling i can walk right past it don't mean nothing to me but porn or maybe hydrocodone or something like that i mean like chris rock me so coming to grips with my reality and and now being free from that thank you jesus now being free from that is not so that i can feel better than somebody but so i can look at somebody who feels nasty like i used to feel and i can say peace and the power of god wash over them i believe we had a real revelation of being finally me but we've got to learn how to handle that thing let's pray today
