the first lady came because she came off Broadway and her blessing carried sway her her the the fact that she believed in the work and we knew she was gonna go back to Washington and you know and spread the word I remember when Busta Rhymes came he sat like he's like holding court and we were surrounding him and he was talking he was just from so moved and so inspired and and to me like you know a hip-hop icon right the author authentic real deal to sit there and be humbled and inspired to continue doing what he was doing because of what we did I was like wow as the person I realized other other communities will embrace this mm-hmm are there any songs that you kind of miss performing all of them I don't I love watching people do those songs I have no interest in ever doing it was such an incredibly dense and and challenging score to sing eight times a week no matter what track you were in or from what character perspective we were we were putting up an opera every single you know eight shows a week for a very long time I think it took me a good two years to recover vocally from fingering that's right I don't I don't yell as much as I in real life ever as I do we don't have a lot of time so I'm gonna jump right in I want to talk about the soundtrack obviously everyone has their favorite songs I know Lynne has said the wait for it and the room where it happens of some of the best ones he's ever written so I want to ask you guys if you had to pick three Hamilton songs and rank them what would be at the top be it oh man guns and ships one last time and wait for it I mean wait for it for sure yeah and the room where it happens absolutely I mean I'm definitely agree on that one and congratulations Asians was crazy that's the son that got cut thank you the help is bananas banger yeah yeah I mean sad is satisfied is the first time you hear satisfied you huge it's unbelievable that satisfied sounds like a song from the radio sounds like a Nicki Minaj song but it follows the theatrical you know the rules that we have to keep the convention of the theatre satisfied is insane and Renee yeah murders and honestly and effortless Washington on your side that's a secret Jam the secret job you don't think it's a jam at first but after a while hearing you're like this I love the song oh dear feodosia for me those are my three oh but all of them the body for me is we know and Schuyler defeated if you listen to scholar defeated that thing slap it is pocket like it is so musically it is so good and I'm always like hey right yes but you might think it's a b-side is the jam and this show one last time wait for it helpless helpless no one said that debate I'm happy I like that so I'm not opening to the opening you know it took Lynn I something like a year and a half to write that opening cuz he crammed like six chapters of Roger and I was booked into you know all of Hamilton exposition is in three minutes of Saul is staggering like how much how much sort of half this packed in a stanza yes I'm you guys are such an incredible cast and I think fans all over the world love the bond that you have but to put you guys on the spot if you had to pick three of your cast mates to form a fictional heist team who would you pick heist oh that's the driver how do they ever give you the brains of the operation we're sure she'll be the distraction who sent her in should be the target not know you guys it's Renee and it's you to keep all your secrets yo all the bodies don't say that there's a Disney press junket I said pips dial me that's right maybe Efrem Sykes hmm like to provide distraction you know I'm Sam like he's the that's the misdirection yeah and any time he starts dancing you're not paying attention yeah you can start dancing the rest of us and just walk through and take what we need and then and then oh because muscle is very important the muscle Philip agreed on oak Anthony and Renee Anthony's incapable of being quiet so I
