Halloween Gingerbread Cookie House Craft Kit No Bake Food Holiday Set Video

cookie swirl see hello you guys and welcome today we are going to be building a halloween cookie house i am really excited about this i look forward to the holiday so much just so i can build things just like this we also have some trees here on the side and oh oh looks like there was an accident and we have a tombstone right here on the front of the property let's get going so the first thing to do is check and make sure all the pieces are okay because you never know you could end up with some broken pieces in here we've got oh oh i see the bag of candy oh the tasty delicious icing bag some more candies to decorate with oh that's so cool i've never seen that before halloween colored candy canes orange green and purple two icing bags to pipe our icing and oh here we go okay please please please please please don't be broken and yes it looks like they're okay so we've got a tree here and some more cookie pieces double stacked in there so we'll have to check on those there's another icing bag right here and some frosting again some more candies more icing oh look at that icing it's all gray oh it's gonna be so spooky working with this icing that's pretty cool and the instructions so it tells you exactly how to put it together if you follow these instructions but you guys know whoop i don't do instructions we're just gonna do it all right let's check on these cookie pieces and make sure they are perfectly okay and there's nothing broken to be very careful oh all right the tree pieces oh i smell so good it smells chocolatey okay so tree pieces are okay and now our actual house pieces these ones look like they are perfectly fine as well yes okay nothing was broken so now i'm gonna carefully move all of these cookie pieces because we are gonna be using this cardboard as our base now i'm gonna get my icing bag ready so i got my plastic bag here oh it actually came with a little icing tip that's wonderful so i'm gonna cut just a teeny tiny little bit off the icing bag a little bit put my tip inside of the bag move it all the way down and line it up with the bottom oh i don't i didn't cut enough okay i have to cut a little bit more there we go push squeeze still not enough just a little bit don't want to cut too much okay there we go put the icing tip in the bag perfect okay now my icing bag is ready now i'm gonna take my icing now i don't know which bag of icing i should use i don't know if they're different colors or if they're all the same color so we'll just go with the bigger one so i'm just going to kind of smush it and mush it in my hands to kind of soften up the icing even though it feels pretty soft already just to kind of heat it up and get it nice and warm all right that feels pretty good right here on the tip very very carefully i'm going to snip it let's see what color is the icing give it a good squeeze and oh it's black icing this is gonna be so cool okay so now let's start putting it together so on the side of my cookie house i am going to ice right at the bottom with the icing oh this is so cool i love halloween there's one side and i'm going to ice my side piece i should probably do it right here so these two can both wedge on together nice thick layer of icing and on the bottom now i should be able to sandwich them together oh no here we go kind of hold them together so they kind of ice and stick together pieces don't totally line up but it should be good enough okay it's staying it's staying yes okay same thing with this cookie piece now i gotta attach it on wait it goes this way just like that should probably attach this piece on it might be a little easier so my little side cookie piece ice the two sides nice thick frosting this is what's holding the whole piece together and the bottom and the other side and i'm going to stick this piece on right here to hold it all together and now i'm going to get my last little side piece ready add some icing here oh carefully oh you can feel it moving oh and to the bottom of this cookie piece nice and thick and attach corners do not all totally line up but good enough yes it's staying it's staying it's looking so good now i'm gonna go back in and i'm just gonna fill in some of these little holes here just to make it a little bit stronger and really hold the cookie house together do not want it to fall especially down here at the bottom this place it's a little holy right here so really ice that and on this side all right that looks thick and like that's gonna hold for sure on that side turn it around oh looks a bit wobbly over here i'm gonna remove this piece there we go and fill the hole we got a big hole to fill right here we want this to be nice and sturdy so fill fill fill perfect we've got nice thick icing on this haunted house so i wonder what color icing is inside of this bag i'm just gonna cut just a little bit and just take a little peek and see i don't know if it's the same color or if it's different squeeze a whole bunch of icing and oh it's orange we got orange icing so let's start decorating some of these trees while i wait for the gingerbread house to dry with my black icing i'm just gonna fill in the tree detail and just ice all the way around it now i'm just gonna sprinkle just a few of these on the tree and now just fill in the rest of the tree take my little icing tip and just kind of help roll the icing on is that a good idea oh there we go the trees look so smooth in the little picture see look at how nice and smooth the trees look in the little picture let's help smooth the tree ah there that looks great oh we can even put more little sprinkle candies on it decorate it a little bit more oh the tree looks so good now we just have to do it again for this tree i'll let that one dry all right same thing i'm gonna try to just smooth out that icing of course it would help if i had maybe like a knife or a spoon just some sort of utensil but just use this since this worked out so nicely might as well there's no rules right okay it's nice and smooth now it's time to sprinkle sprinkle sprinkle sprinkle oh no this is so much fun i love doing this seriously this is so much fun i have been so excited for halloween this year i just i cannot wait and i can't believe it's already next week there we go so now this tree is all decorated so now i can put this aside let that dry see how this is doing oh the icing is starting to feel kind of hard but it's still a little soft maybe we can lightly ice some other areas on the house and get it ready for decorating oh i've got this bag here what is in this bag cut this open i don't know what's in here what is that oh it's fondant oh that's perfect oh fondant is the coolest it's almost like clay but made out of sugar so we can use the fondant to make the windows it's this beautiful bright yellow color it's take a tiny little piece of fondant not too much roll it into a ball and smush it oh i touched some of the black icing so it's got a little icing on it make a little square with my fingers this is going to be one of the windows that way it will look like somebody is home at our little cookie haunted house even though the house is haunted it's still ready for trick-or-treaters you can still go trick-or-treating here do i press it on oh i better glue it on add a little icing to the back kind of smooth it on oh no just kind of take it away from the shape now flip it over and press it onto the cookie house like right here oh yes it worked it actually is on oh it's so cool oh that's so cute now i can take my icing bag and i can pipe around it and try to make a little window oh i think this is working oh don't fall kind of go back up one more right here there fix that oh all right the window looks a little crazy we're gonna fix it we're gonna fix it a little window line like that and this perfect so somebody is totally home now we need a door so we can greet the trick-or-treaters so let's do a door with orange icing and just pipe the door on oh oh no icing looks like it's getting a little old it's kind of starting to dry out a little bit it's getting really hard to squeeze it all right maybe this wasn't the best color for the door but we're already there so we gotta go with there we go there we go oh there we go fresh icing now i'm gonna take my little icing tip and just kind of roll this out and smooth out the icing onto the door a little bit softer at the bottom good we'll put a teeny tiny little door handle by using a little candy just like that and then to make the door look a little bit nicer i'm just gonna ice around it with the black icing just to kind of frame it out oh so cute there we go frame the door this is looking so cute i'm so excited this is so cute i love halloween all right let's do another window on the side of the house we'll use a little pinch the yellow fondant make a little ball smash the ball flat inside on all the sides to help with the window shape this is so much fun here we go nice little square window add a little touch of icing to the back to help it stick and smooth it on stick it about right here and same thing we're gonna frame around this window with this black icing there we go and kind of fix it so it's just not as drippy there we go all right now we have this side so maybe on this side we will put another little small window a little that fondant roll it into a ball smush flatten the sides a little bit of some icing right here [Music] oh this gets a little crazy no the back of the house let's add a little something a little special let's add a big pumpkin back here so i'm gonna take my orange icing and right here i'm just gonna go in and create a big pumpkin a really big pumpkin is hanging out right back here and fill it in with the icing smooth it out with my little icing tip let's see if maybe i can do a little teeny tiny pumpkin face okay this is really small so let's see if i can maybe do a little happy face there we go and now we'll just use the little black round candies for the eyes little teeny oh oh no i dropped it there we go pumpkin eye oh it's so cute it's so cute and then a little green one for the little pumpkin stem oh it needs more icing pumpkin stem right here there you go just like that so there's an adorable little pumpkin on the back of the house and now on the side we might as well put one more window right there fondant roll it out teeny tiny little window flattened little icing stick it right on oh that one pulled oh they're kind of falling no i am loving this cookie house now hopefully it's time that we can start decorating the roof so now i've got my little cookie pieces that easily belong right here all right so let's go ahead and ice the roof just want to ice the whole thing here oh no oh no it fell down a little bit it's all right it's all right all right now i have to put the pieces on just rest them right on top perfect and hold them just for a second while they just kind of glue into place and there is a crack right up here on the top so i want to make sure i fill this in with icing as well to really hold it in nice thick icing right on the top oh that didn't even go in the crack so still add that icing in there we go perfect now we get to decorate the roof so right on the top i'm going to use these big giant gumdrops hmm they're super yummy so i'm just going to set them on oh no because the roof is kind of crooked gumdrops are going to be kind of crooked okay wait cancel we'll go back to these little tiny round candies much better now let's actually color the roof we have not used the gray icing so we need to use the gray icing oh we should use this for the tombstone too so here's the tombstone we're gonna make this all gray all that icing use my icing tip and smooth it out great okay now i'm gonna let this dry before i ice something on the tombstone let's go back to the roof now on the little demo picture they have the roof gray but i think i'm honestly gonna do like some sort of like shingles or something on it or maybe a cobweb i've done cobwebs before and they are really fun so we're gonna do a cobweb design so all i have to do is stretch out my cobweb from one point to the other that and that one more across and now just kind of web the icing this is a creative project you can create anything you would like there's no rules when it comes to decorating you can do anything you want yeah so there is one side of the roof and now we gotta put the cobwebs right here on the other side just gonna ice the roof in the same way this is seriously so cute maybe we'll even put a big giant spider web right here in the front of the house since i already have that drippy icing so we're just gonna take that and just kind of continue it like that to about there now we're gonna add even more icing right here to the top of the roof and that's where we should probably add the candy cane pieces and ice really thick icing and place a little candy cane right on top and hold it into place oh so candy and cute all right let's keep on sugarfying this place okay we're good we're good there we go oh it's so cute this is so cute just kind of let them set oh it'd be so cute to put like a little spider right on in the little cobweb wouldn't that be kind of cute kind of extend these out a little bit all right this is looking so cute we are just about done with this candy house now let's decorate the tombstone and so i don't have to write anything out why don't i just put r.i.p with fondant will stay a little bit neater looking so i'll just kind of write out the words so there is an r put it right on roll out another little piece r i and then a p roll it out fold it down r.i.p now we can decorate the walkway use the gray icing for like a little pavement fill in with the icing this is just gonna use it all smooth it out we can add these cute little gumdrops too so we'll kind of line the pathway with the orange now we will add the gumdrops in oh so cute all right the last thing we need to do is glue down the tombstone add some icing to the bottom here lots of thick icing put it right here on the side of the house ooh that's so creepy i have a tombstone right here and now we can set up the trees i can use these little cookie pieces to snap it and these are actually meant to hold the trees in place just on the back here so if i just put some icing right on the back really thick amount and attach to the back of the tree now they will stand up there we go just like that it kind of just props them up there we go see how the trees are just kind of sitting up this is absolutely so adorable i cannot believe how cute this house is with the little spider web on the top no no knock down one of my little gum drops okay there we go we can actually ice a little bit more here too in the front yard like maybe the grass has all died we'll just put some black icing on it i got plenty of icing left so we can just put some grass in here same thing on this side just use up all the icing kind of smooth it out again and because i do have a few more candies left i can just put the candies in the grass as well just sprinkle them in this
