Giant Rainbow Cupcake Fail - Baking A Colorful Birthday Cake

cookie swirl yeah i think that would be a great idea i think rainbow dash would love that oh my buttery bed on it she's gonna love it twilight guess what have you looked at the calendar lately hi pinkie pie it's rainbow dash's birthday soon yes i know buttercup and i have been discussing exactly what we're gonna be making for rainbow dash's birthday party a party a party a party oh it has to be amazing something so perfect and colorful just for rainbow dash we were thinking about mixing her up some cupcakes that we can have at her party everybody loves yummy cupcakes cupcakes sound perfect i can't wait to get baking not just mini cupcakes how about we make the biggest cupcake cake ever the biggest cupcake cake ever does such a thing exist i cannot wait to see this twilight please we have to start baking now oh it's not just gonna be any giant cupcake it's gonna be a rainbow cupcake this is so amazing ooh chocolatey chippy cookies all right we are going to be making the biggest cupcake for rainbow dash's birthday with this mega big cupcake tin look at how big this is it's huge so here we have the cupcake part right here and look at all that we're gonna be molding all of this frosting topper right here too cool so to make it super duper rainbow we're gonna be using this tie-dye rainbow cake mix look at all those super awesome colors so here we go so i'm gonna open up the cake box so what do we have we have our big big pile of cake mix and here's the colors to mix up the rainbow colors okay we have three little colors it looks like is that blue yellow and red so let's add our cake mix in that would be so cool if it was already rainbow looking i'm gonna mix a cup and a third cup of water into the batter now it's time for the oil so now we're gonna add in some the vegetable oil just like olivia oil said so two tablespoons oil one and two it's time to add the egg in now we're gonna want to add in three eggs but only the egg whites no yolk that's no joke all right here i have my three eggs so i need to only do the egg whites no yolk so hopefully i don't get any yellow yolk in the batter one two three crack okay good no okay good so keep that yolk back you say in the egg oh no oh no only the egg white no yolk okay should be good all right egg number two only only the egg whites come on come on out no yolk oh there we go it's about ready to glob in there perfect there we go no egg yolk oh no no no oh okay okay see if i can do it with the third egg third time is the yolky charm oh no oh no i have to scoop the egg yolk out okay there we go almost come on it's so gloopy and sticky and gooey got it googy okay it looks like we have the water the batter the oil and the egg whites all added in i think it's time to take it to the mixer all right mixie and maxie can you mix up this big jumbo bowl of batter oh that's a little bit too big of a job for us all right why don't we send it over to our big sister cindy and spinny cindy so here we have our batter all inside of here whoa inside of this big jumbo spinner there's all the batter in there are you ready get set spin wow now we're gonna need six bowls to mix up our color so let's start mixing up the batter and making it super rainbow so i'm gonna scoop the batter three-fourths full super drippy [Music] fill that cup up oh cake batter smells the best [Music] perfect now we're going to add in the drops of dye using this little drop chart right here to make all of these colors so it's saying 15 drops to make red take my teeny tiny little cup food color packet cut a teeny tiny little slit here all right now let's get coloring the batter [Music] now we're gonna make orange i'm gonna do two drops red we're gonna add in some yellow five yellow two three four five for the yellow we're gonna put eight drops one two three four five six seven eight oh that was a big one now we're gonna mix up our blue 14 drops blue now for green two blue nine yellow one two three four five six seven eight nine now we're going to mix up some purple right now they all kind of look the same so seven red boop come on one more mixed in with two blue all right now the magic is gonna happen we're gonna mix up and make the colors this is gonna magically turn red [Music] look at that color it's like a pastel red all right so there's the red let's mix up and make some orange mix all those colors together red and yellow together it's kind of like a soft peachy color these colors are actually kind of pastely soft all right orange now we'll mix up some yellow ooh look at all the fun colors so pretty that color is gorgeous it's like a banana yellow what about a butter yellow mix up some blue oh wow oh this blue is so gorgeous look at that rich rich color all right time to mix up some green oh it looks super duper rainbow in here here we go there's that green color mix in all that yellow get it nice and mix for the perfect green color make it green the best i've ever seen and now it's time for purple mixing up the purple whoa it's like red white and blue wait a minute is this really gonna be purple here we go there we go now it's looking purpley all right all of the colors have been mixed up and now we're gonna add them into the cupcake tin giant cupcakey time so here's the jumbo giant cupcake tin i'm gonna dust it with some flour that way rainbow dash's cake will not stick to the cupcake pouring it into the cupcake pan some red all right now orange yellow [Music] green [Music] blue whoa and now purple now the cupcake topper so we'll do purple we're going to go the opposite way of the rainbow blue some green yellow i hope it'll be enough orange oh there's gonna be enough i don't want this to be a fail now this looks super duper tie-dye in here and red the giant cupcake is filled up as full as i can get it with the batter this one looks super duper awesome and tie-dyed well this one looks like a gobstopper candy so into the oven it goes all right so the cake is freshened out of the oven oh whoa look at those colors look at the color of this one okay now we're gonna dump the cake out of the cupcake tin all right cake come on out big jumbo cuppy cakey ah it's not coming out can't get the cupcake out come on out cupcake oh wait here oh oh no it's falling apart come on out oh oh no okay that's okay it's not that bad because we didn't need the top layer anyways come on out come on out come on out it's coming out yay kind of oh no oh no it's a fail i can't get the cupcake out no it totally stuck to the thing the box said to use flour oh no this is what is left of the cupcake topper now we're gonna frost the cake so we're gonna be using this confetti funfetti chocolate fudge frosting look it and it's got rainbow sprinkles perfect for rainbow dash oh look at all that frosting okay touching it for the first time oh yum here we go a whole bunch of frosting we'll remove the top piece and put it on the cake there's gonna be so much frosting on rainbow dash's cake [Music] yum and yum [Music] it's gonna be like a dome cake ah no frosting no now this last little top part all right the chocolate cake is all frosted now it's time for sprinkles oh there's two different types of sprinkles in here there's really small ones and these big ground flat ones wow [Music] oh it is so rainbowy now we just have to fly this little rainbow dash you're right on top look at how cute all right the cake is done now it's time for rainbow dash's surprise party whew the cake looks amazing oh that cupcake fail turned into a beautiful domed chocolate rainbow cake chocolatey dome rimmel cake hi we're here for the party howdy rainbow dash hasn't showed up yet has she nope you're just in time for her party oh it's gonna be a surprise party she's gonna be so excited oh my the cake looks so beautiful look at all those sprinkles believe it or not that cake started out as a cupcake what like a giant cupcake yep that's rainbow dash everypony hide we're gonna jump out and say surprise i think she's here ooh chocolate chippy cookies you do not want to miss part two rainbow dash's surprise party oh i'm so happy that this cake turned out and it
