my well good morning good morning good morning how's everybody doing you maybe see that you may be seated it is good to be with you this morning I've had a great week you had a good week oh I got a title my title today is have you ever had a bad day anybody ever have a bad day okay not bad not bad okay let me explain that let me give you a definition anybody in this room ever go to go to sleep at night you lay down to go to sleep and the first thing you do is think about your day has anyone ever said this if I knew this morning well I know right now I never would got out of bed then you might have had a bad day that's good so get your Bible and turn to John chapter 16 turn to John chapter 16 and we're gonna while you're turning there I need to say thank you for letting me come to see your point I've been here many years ago it's cool to be back at City Point and I love Australia back when I first came to Australia I flew in on a Sunday Monday morning I was doing state schools and I got up like early like an hour and a half early I got to the parking lot of the state school just waiting for it to happen and there's some miscommunication problems between America and Australia cuz see somebody came to America and told us that all your kids ride kangaroos to school Danny funny I got up early to watch kids hoppin on kangaroo and there was no kangaroos but then again I guess there's miscommunication the other way because I found out all Australians think all Americans are arrogant and rude we are not rude if you turn in your Bible to John chapter 16 first before we read this scripture can i play I promised I would bring my saxophone the City point and I brought my saxophone before we go on can I play a little song for everybody all right and all right the right oh I'm glad there's young people here I like that like that I don't know why they're yelling and clapping they just happy alright cool if you know the song you can sing along it goes like this Amen okay now now before we go to our scripture there's um I don't know if you've ever been live in person with an african-american preacher but it's just kind of like the movies that you watch so so let me help you out for the next 25 minutes you got to do a couple of things just to make me feel at home number one you got to talk to your neighbor alright so right now look at the person beside you say I got to talk to you sir you just saw your wife for the first time today it's okay we lead busy lives I know so you got talked to you neighbor number two you got to talk to the preacher somebody said come on Reggie that's good and number three you got to have a good time we're gonna have a good time all right we're just gon we're gonna have a good time so so if you're with me go ahead and turn your I should be there by now if you're not there now you don't have a Bible John chapter 16 verse 33 I know the words will be up on the screen for you here's what it says and remember the title is have you ever had a bad day John 16:33 says this I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace in this world you will have trouble but take heart I have overcome the world now I'd like to read this as if Jesus was from Australia if Jesus was from Australia this scripture would read like this I have told you these things so that you may that you may find peace in me this world you will have troubles no worries might I have overcome the world now if Jesus was American he said something like this I've told you these things so that in me you may have peace in this world you will have trouble but that's I ain't no thing but a chicken wing it's on like Donkey Kong cuz I overcome the world I know some of you are like why does that sound better than Australian because cuz I don't speak I'll straighten Australia's cool I like it you guys me everything's different like the back of a car in America is a trunk the back of a car here is a boot we wear a boot American you guys have car parks we have parking lots this is cool you guys have this is cool you got sausage sizzle we're gonna have a sausage and I'm a little upset why am I not here next week I want a cheeseburger the size of pastor's head that's what I want you know where I'm at next Sunday New Zealand you know what they're gonna do they're gonna put a pig in the ground alright I want a pig in the ground though that is good there's new zealand people here they're like like the pig in the ground now no no no so if you don't understand what I'm trying to ask you let me break it down for you I need to make sure everybody understands what a bad day is so I've got three examples of a bad day I want to give you three simple examples just to help you get into my mind in the right mindset direct mindset of having a bad day the first one is a girl named Tara t-ara everybody say Tara now Tara was 14 years old Taylor played the clarinet and a band Tara was a volleyball player and she loved life but the one week that she loved the most was December 26 to January 1st because on December 26 to January 1st Taylor her mom and dad will get on a plane in Dallas Texas in America and they would fly to Denver Colorado in America to go snow skiing for Sep she loved a snow ski and that day that one day on December 26th when they got there they took the early flight so they got to the lodge in time to go up and down the hill two and a half times so they went up and they came down they went up second town and they can I say they dad skied the daughter ski but mom mom looked like a skier mama dressed like a skier but for some reason mama never left the lodge mama drank coffee and hot chocolate and read books alright but ma of dad and his daughter went all the way up came all the way down went all the way up came all the way down and it started getting dark and she goes daddy just one more time he goes we can go half way so they went halfway up the lift and they came back down dad got in front of his daughter and all of a sudden he heard this one thing like huh and when he hit his brakes he looked back and his daughter was laying by a tree two other skiers saw what happened they went to help her moments later two paramedics were there with a sled they put her on it carefully slid her down the hill and for hours after that happened in the hospital in Denver Colorado two double doors open and the doctor walked in and he looked at Tara's mom and dad and said this I'm sorry there's nothing we can do she's being kept alive by a machine in one hour we have to turn that machine off I'm sorry for your loss now that's a bad day well if you didn't understand that one maybe this one would you her name was Heather everybody say Heather oh come on come on y'all not with me touch your neighbor say he's talking about Heather now Heather was awesome Heather was incredible Heather loved her daddy the Heather wanted to be like her dad let me tell you about her daddy his name Kyle everybody said cow but it wasn't just count it was dr. Kyle dr. kyle dr. kyle was one of the best surgeons in the united states of america for seven months and two weeks he worked for his hospital he would get up early come home late sometimes his kids wouldn't see him for days cuz he knew his job was to make other people well so that they can live life but after seven months in two weeks he took off and i mean he took off right his family went to some of the most exotic incredible places on the face of the planet earth and man did they have a good time but then one last month in the year he would get on a plane and go to africa not just africa he would go in the middle of the jungles of Africa he would do surgery on people who had AIDS and HIV because he knew he had a gift that he needed to give back to the world and so doctors who would not do surgery on his people he would now he knew the risk if he cut himself in surgery and his blood mixed with the patient's blood when HIV and AIDS it could kill him but he thought people to live life to the fullest no matter where they are no matter where they're from and if he could help them live life that's his gift that's a good guy right there right and and Heather loved her daddy matter of fact she wanted to be like her am i yelling I'm sorry ma'am lady on the front row site it's black America I'm so sorry yeah yeah we can get you some air my oh the blood thing the only blood I'm talking about puking in a few seconds here okay no I'm not I'm just wanted to see that face one more time okay I'm going okay oh by the way I'm a little a DD but I don't take the pill no more cuz life is so much fun without it so hey that's great there's people here going there it is right there it's all good it's all good this is herself so so Heather wanted to be like her dad matter of fact she went to school she studied hard she went to med school she became a doctor a surgeon not only did she work seven months in two weeks but she went on vacation with her family and she went to Africa with her daddy she would be in surgery room one and her dad would be in surgery room two come on that's awesome but one day she came out of surgery room one and she was scrubbing out cuz she was done she knew her dad would be in there for another two hours but he came out early when he came out he went straight to the sink and started getting the surgical gloves off his hand when he pulled one off blood came gushing out of his hand sorry lady and all of a sudden he had this cut it took 22 stitches to close that cut but that's not the problem the problem was he was doing surgery on a man who was highly highly highly infected with hiv/aids and when his blood mixed with that patients blood he gets the virus there's a medicine that you could take to counteract out but it makes you deathly ill and Heather's dad dr. Kyle became deathly ill they had to get him out of that country back to America there was one flight going back to America she got two seats he was in 21a she was in 21b she kept taking his vitals and heart rate when he finally fell asleep as the plane tickle she slipped out of the seat went to the restroom locked the door fell on her knees in front of the toilet and begged God to save her daddy anybody ever have a bad day I know everybody's like not anymore well if you didn't understand that one maybe you don't understand this one I just gotta make sure I get everybody on the same page can I say something though you are the most everybody's like this I got to be honest it's kind of like I'm like no one's moving is like it's her name was Shannon everybody say Shannon okay can I ask you something just cuz we're all humans and everything anybody here ever hit the snooze button we ever hit the snooze button I can't say something just a little something-something about hitting snooze button did you know that when a brother or sister hits the snooze button sleep is so much better after you hit the snooze button you in the perfect position after this news but the covers aren't too hot they're not too cold they're just right after the snooze but anybody know I'm tough you go to sleep so hard little drool coming out of corner of your mouth after you hit the snooze but if you know what I'm talking about just say hey man just touch your neighbors say I know that feeling but how many of you know what happens after the snooze button when you feel really good there's something deep in the subconscious that says I need to be doing something and then all of a sudden you remember you should be up and then you jump up I did it to other day pastor you know what I did the other day literally I had a flight early flight and I'm sleeping sleeping sleeping see because what we did was up let's see Monday I was in Sunshine Coast Tuesday I was in Harvey Bay Wednesday I was in Rockhampton Thursday I was in Makai and Friday I was in Townsville all right and so I got took your country last Saturday in Melbourne so Sunday I spoke four times Monday I spoke seven times Tuesday I did five times Wednesday was four times Thursday was six times Friday was eight times and then now now now so there was the morning where I was like ah and I jumped up and just started getting ready cuz I knew I had an early flight they were picking me up in 5:30 so I got up got ready got dressed man I'm good to go I look at the clock in this 2:45 and all heavens like hahahahaha dangers like watch this ha ha ha ha and they're making fun of me I'm gonna get them all when I get up there Shannon hit her snooze button when she hit her snooze when she fell back to sleep and then all of a sudden she woke up huh and she realized she was late she jumped in the shower gotcha now Shannon lived 3 miles outside of town her dad was one of the best farmers in the state that she lived in matter of fact where she lived they were nothing there was a road going to town and it was corn on the left corner on the right corn in front and corn behind man I used to love corn but I don't anymore cuz I watched a movie called children and the corn once and that was not good not good not good you saw it too didn't you hey can I just say some I am NOT a racial person but I thought of this and I thought I'd just share it with the church today how many of you have ever seen a scary movie come on you could be honest I know we're in church we can be honest hey can't you say something how many of you noticed this is true it ain't racial it's just true black people die first in those movies all right and if you Asian you next I'm just sayin all right I'm you're saying I'm just saying I'm just saying the only brother don't die is Denzel washing that brother ain't never gonna die he like the Jesus of movies I'm just saying I'm just saying he'd be coming back I'm sorry back to the sermon a dee dee Shannon gets in a car she got to drive to school she was a senior her last year of high school that she's driving down the road something happened and I've seen this everybody in this room you've seen this now if you're married and your spouse is near you kind of go undercover right now because I don't want to get you in trouble have you ever been on the m1 flying down the road and somebody's flying a little faster than you and you see them coming so you kind of get over you know what I'm saying just kind of get over and why you get over you're like I want to see who's driving this car and when the car comes by you and you glance over you notice it's a woman and that she's flying down the road she has one hand on the river you mirror the other hand on her lip gloss and you're trying to figure out God are you driving that car because you cannot see anybody with their hands on the steering wheel anybody ever seen that before if your wife's beside you don't look over just look straight ahead sir it's better that way Shannon Rilla I mean I mean come on I understand how can you go out in public without lip gloss I mean come on I mean that's the way it is if you don't have lip girls talk about bad day that's a bad day so Shannon was putting on her lip gloss she's glancing up glancing up hand on the beer glasses up glancing up looking at the road glancing up glancing up looking at the mirror looking at the lipgloss lancing up looking at the road boom why y'all jumpin three ladies just grabbed her purse alright little kid over there y'all stranger danger okay okay do I look that scary okay one kid yesterday called me chocolate Shrek okay on the plane I got on the plane sit down he goes dad Shrek honey talk about kids sandstoe that was it I looked over goes you want my autograph he goes yes I do and the dads like come sorry so I put chocolate Shrek okay I'm sorry back to the sermon okay when Shannon got out of the car she got a car she thought she'd hit an animal or something and then she saw a bicycle and that's all she remembers next thing she wakes up she's in bed her mom and dad are in the room and her dad goes what he remembered to and hold daddy I did wrong I was putting on my lip gloss I kept looking at the road and I hit something when I saw it but that's all I remember he goes you don't remember calling me no you don't remember the police no you don't remember the ambulance no I don't remember nothing he went baby okay listen to me very carefully and he said yes there's a plan for your life we're gonna help you said you hit a woman on a bicycle her name is Marjorie she goes who daddy it's yo k is she okay he goes baby no she's gone and she's starting mumbling again it should have been me should've he should have been me the mom and dad had to give her some more medicine put her to sleep she woke up it's the next day they're still in the room to have a little sandwich that eat take a bite they took a bite and he goes baby there's something we're gonna you know we love you we will never make you do anything that you didn't want to do but there's something we got to do the woman you hit with the car her husband called you need to get up and get ready because we're all going to his house and she says why why I don't want to I don't want to go I don't want to goes no baby we got to his his name's Gary he wants to meet you we'll go with you every step of the way cuz no mom I can't do it mom and the mom goes baby either by the sandwich get in the shower we'll be all right can you imagine that can anybody and I can't I'm just telling you right now this is a true story when they got to the guy's house she was weeping the whole way she wouldn't even look up dad's on one side mom's on the other they walk her to the door now the big door was open but the screen door keeping the bugs out was closed he knocked on it and they heard a voice like a high-neck just a happy voice it was like come on in I got lemonade and she's thinking that can't be Gary if that's Gary what was his wife like for him to be happy when they came in Gary came in with a tray of lemonade and when he solved their face he realized and he put the tray down he sit on the coffee table they were sitting on the couch and he says oh I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm so insane my name is Gary my name's Gary he goes are you Shannon and he took her by the hand and she looked up he says I don't expect any of you to understand this but I need to tell you it's ok it's ok my wife was my princess she was my joy she was my reason for living and I know you think it's why are you so happy because he my wife was a Christian and so am I we believed in Jesus Christ we believed that he came to give us life and life more abundantly then he said here's what we believe to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord we believe that yea though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death we fear no evil for thou art with this dye rod and staff at conferences so my wife she's in heaven and someday I'm gonna be there too so it's okay and they all three are crying now he goes I know my lawyers talked to your lawyers and your lawyers told you that I'll come to my senses and press charges there's no way that's why I have you here and he took Shannon by the hand and said I want to pray for you I know you may not know Jesus but I want to pray a double anointing on you now you would have double what my wife had you would know more than what she ever you would be able to reach people like she did I want to pray that can't say something I know in church we're close to clap but can you really do exactly what Jesus would have done that's what his Gary did and he prayed for them and they left I didn't do this earlier but can I add one more all right there's once was a boy he was eight years old went to school for what they call parent-teacher conference y'all do that where parents go to school meet the teachers that's a horrible day we are free countries we should not have to do that we should have separation of school and parents clap kids that's your point right there there you go they're like he's the greatest preacher ever so when this kid went to class with his mom and dad to speak he was the first one for parents to meet the teacher when they walked out of the classroom all his friends are there with their parents and he noticed something all his friends parents were young but his parents were old now this kid was taught if you got a question asked so in the car going home he yelled to the front seat hey why yo don't ever do that kids you can think they're old but don't tell him they're holding when he got home his dad said we got to talk there we got to talk we got to talk and so they put him at the kitchen table to have a talk and you kids ever been to the kitchen table to have a talk with your parents if you haven't don't go look at me kids here just rule if you don't smell food run they can catch you later all right when they sit at the table mom dad and the son the dad looked at the boy and said there's a plan for your life we're gonna help you find it and the boy said yes yes sir the mom looked at him and said his favorite word the mom said baby the boy loved that cuz he when he was little every time his mom said baby no matter what was wrong when his mom said baby he thought she was magic cuz whenever she said baby his darkest night had a light cloud his day at sunshine no matter what he was going through he could make it cuz momma said baby he loved his mama she started to cry when she said baby I'm sorry for ten minutes no one spoke the dad got up and moved chairs and held the mom after 10 minutes the dad said tell him tell him and the mom looked up and said baby I'm sorry I'm old because I'm not your mom and the dad said I'm not your father you're in a program called foster care they begin to tell the boy that he had a brother and two sisters that he never knew how that the mom's husband left her with three kids and no money no food after seven days the food was gone a man could hear the baby's crying he walked by one day and looked at the mom and said while your kids crying all the time she said they're hungry my husband left he's never coming back this is a tough story because of what happened next the man looked at the lady and said if you sleep with me I'll give you $20 and your kids can eat the woman would do anything for her kids so she slept with the man for $20 she got pregnant she had a son she named him Reggie oh by the way that's me I grew up in foster care of my whole life my mom gave me away to her favorite teacher at school I was raised by my mom school teacher I don't feel sorry for me because I guarantee I'm worth more in $20 now because you know what I know my past is my history but my future is my destiny can I wait some of you like this is the most depressing sermon I've ever heard in my entire life so let me turn it around before people go out and commit suicide all right get your Bible and go to Acts chapter 3 Acts chapter 3 we're going to start reading at verse number what I know I messed up y'all good you know it's cool don't no one's even gone to the bathroom everybody's eye I've never seen people just stare at me like that except when they were scared I got a great opportunity coming up I'll let you know you've seen the news in America recently about a town in Missouri where a young man was shot five six times by a policeman they start school on Monday of next week on Thursday of the following week so they start school on September 8th and on September 10 I will be speaking at every high school middle school and Elementary in the whole city and will be bringing hope to those kids that's what we do here we go if you remember school shootings like Columbine that's the famous one one month four weeks after Columbine when those kids went back to school they had an assembly program that morning with me school shootings like Paducah Kentucky sus Smithtown Arkansas Springfield Oregon every school shooting every major suicide epidemic that's taken place in cities in America I'm the one they called to speak in schools and uh and I my I that's the hardest thing I do I love coming when just they want a speaker but that's hard but here's why I do it Acts chapter three verse one one day Peter and John was going into the temple at the time of prayer 3:00 in the afternoon now man crippled from birth was being carried to the temple gate called beautiful where he was put every day to beg from doze going into the temple courts verse three when he saw Peter and John about to enter he asked him for money Peter look straight at him as did John then Peter said look at us so the man gave them his attention expecting something from them verse 6 then Peter said silver and gold I do not have but what I have I give to you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth walk taking him by the right hand helping him up instantly the man's feet and ankles became strong he jumped to his feet and began to walk then he went with them in the temple court walking and jumping and praising God when the people saw him walking and praising God they recognized him as the same man who used to everybody say used to come on everybody say used to sit begging at the temple gate called beautiful they were filled with Wonder and amazement at what had happened to him guys your question about that right there why would you put a crippled man at a gate call beautiful wouldn't you move to crippled man and build flowers or moved a crippled man and plant a tree I moved a crippled man and put a statue why would you have a crippled man and this says every day they bring them in every day he's at the gate called beautiful every day he's begging at a gate called beautiful then why would they call it a gate called beautiful here's why because see when it comes to God in Jesus they don't see where you're at today they see where you are in them and when you get Jesus into the factor then everything is gonna turn out in a positive you see that's a matter where your walking doesn't matter to struggle it doesn't matter the hurt that you have you're sitting at a gate called beautiful because when Jesus comes in everything changes why is it called a gate called beautiful when so many people are messed up because that's where people start it ain't where they finish some of you hurt so bad you'd think it's your lot in life to hurt like this that each your not in life because there's a day coming when Jesus is going to meet you at a gate called beautiful and he's going to speak to you and you're going to be able to get up touch your neighbor and say get up come on touch your neighbors say get up why is your at a gate called beautiful why is their loss at a gate called beautiful why is your pain at a gate called beautiful why is there suffering at a gate called beautiful why is there darkness at a gate called beautiful why because Jesus changes everything and can make everything beautiful let's back up Tara remember in one hour they're unplugging the machine that's keeping her alive the doctor was only gone 20 minutes when he came back in he said ma'am I know I've only been gone 20 minutes and I know this is a difficult time but every time I find a child like yours I look in the national database there's a girl in Phoenix Arizona she will be dead in 14 days but she's a perfect match to your daughter's heart I was wondering can I have her heart can I have your baby's heart I know this is difficult I can only give you ten minutes to think about it but I need your baby's heart we can have something good come out of this tragedy situation someone can live and then she got I only have ten minutes I'll be back when he came back she met him at the door she said ain't no if ands or buts about it I'll give you my baby's heart if you promise me one year from right now December 26 next year that you would let me meet that baby I need to know who's got my baby's heart he said that's highly unlikely I said forget it he goes okay I promise one year to the day of mom and dad without their little baby gets on a plane instead of going snow skiing they go to Phoenix Arizona when they come down the escalator that same doctor is at the bottom of the escalator he said I'm a man of my word I figured I'd take you when they drove in front of the house the mom and dad of the girl with a new heart was outside already crying both couples cried shook hands an embrace like long-lost relatives when they walked into had the girl's heart hooked up to this speaker so he can hear it all over the house when they turned it on her heart started beating Taylor's mom goes that's her baby's heart that's our baby's heart and the little girl showed him their scar and said I'll never forget your daughter cuz I have a scar to remind me that I'm healed because of her don't you know that's what happens when we give our life to Jesus and when we give our life to Jesus he comes in and his dad who's called the great physician can do a heart surgery on us he takes out our messed-up broken heart and he doesn't give us a new one he gives us Jesus heart so that when he sees us God sees his son when he hears us God hears his son old ain't see all the other religions from Harry Krishna to Muhammad they tell you what you got to do to get respecting their religion only Jesus says I stand at the door not all you got to do is open the door I'll do the rest all you got to do is say yes let me go on Heather remember she's in the bathroom her dad cut his hand taking medicine to fight the AIDS virus in his system but he got deathly ill he's in 21a barely leaving blood pressure going down pulse rate going down his daughter Heather is in the bathroom and begging God to help she was in that bathroom and I want to have dinner was a knock on the door she thought it was somebody coming telling her her dad was dead when she opened the door three men peeked in one guy who became the spokesman said we saw you come in here an hour and a half ago we just want to make sure you're okay we're doctors and she said I'm a doctor too she told him the whole story huh my dad got cut his hand taking the medicine it made him violently ill we're trying to get him to Atlanta and one of the guys started laughing that is not a good time to laugh how many of you know it is not a good time to laugh when I said my my dad's I'm 21 he's gonna die and you look at you you're like hahaha but there was a reason he said I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm laughing he says but we're not just three doctors we're with 99 of our friends we're aid specialists going to Atlanta for an AIDS Conference the medicine that your dad needs it's in 22 B right in my bag above him and overhead don't you understand hold on I don't think y'all understand this morning she could have been on a plane with 99 clowns going to Atlanta Georgia for a clown Commission she could have been on a plane with 99 plumbers who need to pull up their pants to say no to crack going to a plumber's commission but she was on a plane at the right time at the right moment to find the right people to turn her gate into a beautiful gate it's a beautiful gate no matter what you're in touch your neighbors say it's a beautiful gate you just didn't know it oh one more oh yeah I forgot Shannon when Shannon left Gary's house remember Shannon Gary Marjorie on a bicycle got hit she died two weeks later Shannon decided to go back to the basketball team that night when they ended up owning announcements they introduced each starting player she was one of starters when they said her name it was like this air Hornung ah and she looked in the corner of the gym and there's Gary with a airhorn and a big old sign I'm Shannon's biggest fan he went to every game home in a way with his air horn when she graduated from school he was after graduation went his air horn he got kicked out because you're not supposed to have those there he helped Shannon's mom and dad move her to college when she was in her second year at University her mom and dad would having troubles she called Gary and said would you go see my mom and dad he went and saw her two hours later he said can you meet me at the diner I'm on my way there I'll be there in an hour when he got to the diner she goes are they okay he went hard they're fine so tonight I sit down with your mom and dad and I showed him something in the Bible and I wanted to show you I couldn't wait to tomorrow Gary turned into Romans chapter 10 verse 9 and he said to Shannon if you declare with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved he explained the gospel see Dan Romans Road did John 3:16 she started to cry she goes my mom and dad saved and he said yes I let him in the prayer can I lead you in a prayer she goes yeah he she killed his wife and he's leading her to Christ a year later her 3rd year University she dated the wrong boy said of going to her dad she went to Gary Gary came to visit college with two of his friends who want as saved as he was she didn't have a problem with that boy again I'm just saying Shannon's dad passed away and when she decided to get married Gary walked her down the aisle her name is Shannon Eldridge she wanted the greatest woman Christian counselors in the United States of America New York Times bestselling so the prayer he prayed when she didn't even know God the prayer Gary prayed over her when she was at a gate not called beautiful the whole time there was a gate called beautiful she just didn't know it yet double anointing of my wife devil what she ever dreamed and what gate are you sitting in what herd are you going through you just need Jesus at your gate and I'm just here to tell you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth you can walk let's pray Jesus I thank you for every man woman boy and girl here I thank you that you love us just the way we are gotta pray right now for the hurt in this room for the sorrow in this room I pray God that you would speak to people right now let them know they can make it let them know there's hope Jesus I know what this life bad things can happen but Jesus you came that we might have life and we may have life more abundantly with every head bowed every eye closed down on that forget that every head up every eye open everybody looking around if you're going through a hard time at your game and you just can't see the beauty it's okay can I just pray for you there's there anybody going through a hard time like man I need prayer I need to find a beauty in this like all I see is the sadness just raise your hand real fast you're going through something horrible Wow look at all the hands no the hands just leave your hand up Jesus I pray right now that you would touch that couple let them know that they could make it let some noters hope today god I pray that you would touch this young man on the second row let him know God that he could make a way out of nowhere you could turn his darkness in the day God let these people on my left know now you'll be their joy and their time of sorrow let these young people know that you'll be their hope for their tomorrow God let them know my left side and right side you'll be the peace in the time of storm you'll be their shelter you'll keep them from harm Jesus we trust you no matter what you bring it's gonna be a gate called beautiful change the way they see what they're in and I pray for miracles right now before there's days even over that they will see the answer that they've been looking for them in Jesus name I pray amen you'll put your hand down thank you for trusting me I can't ask you one last question do you know Jesus today you see I told you my story but what you don't know is this at eight years old when I was told I was in foster care my mom gave me away and kept my brother and my two sisters it threw me in a hole bro you don't understand so from 8 to 21 I had one dream I wanted to die I cannot explain you to darkness in my life I won't even try but right now there's some people in this room your heart started beating a little quicker maybe you've never heard a preacher admit that he wanted to take his own life but it was a gate called beautiful the whole time Jesus was there the whole time and he's there for me he could be there for you but there comes a time when you got to do Romans 10:9 you got to declare with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead so that you could be saved it's opening the door to your heart to Jesus you know every time anything goes in your life you've let it in if you've ever done drugs you've opened that door dated the wrong person you've opened that door lie cheat steal you've opened that door look there been a part of things that are wrong you've opened the door so if you can open the door to wrong why don't you open the door to right this morning just give him a chance because I'm here to tell you he changed my life if he could do it for me I know he can do it for you
