now okay I pretty much do senior citizen homes what do you really do for work I own my own business okay what's the business name e-international what is it exactly marketing you're making 1.2 million per year Laura 800 000. you're close I'm close Okay so 800 000. so if I wanted to own you own it right if I want to own my own marketing agency how do I start I'd say the biggest thing is make sure you read the right books okay you know there's a whole bunch of wealth mentality sort of books out there okay and then Association podcast okay and immerse yourself with high quality people that are successful in that field okay and don't listen to haters I love that so I want to start a marketing company right now I got all that knowledge how do I get my foot in the door find people that are successful in that industry okay and talk to them most wealthy people are are very cool okay it's the fake people that are they're not so cool meaning if I want to have a my own marketing agency find probably okay do you go to college like based on your own personal experience uh what you had to do besides hard work and um you know showing up for yourself I think education was supported I think education self-aware proving where you can okay but being very honest and transparent honest and reliable Integrity is critical you do for work I own a brand another good brand okay what was it called affluent okay how long you've been doing that for uh five years five years you like what you do yeah I love it can we play a game where I guess your income per year and you tell me if I'm higher or say like I'm you but you know younger back then yeah I know nothing what do I do YouTube so just YouTube how to don't buy all these BS courses that people always put out okay like oh you buy my course you make a minute yeah all BS or everything that people sell you is on YouTube you could see it read it learn it all for free on YouTube literally just search how to start an e-commerce brand how to start an e-commerce company okay right on YouTube literally start on the first video yeah and you just go down the rabbit hole learn it all and you could it's all self-knowledge these days it's so much easier than 20 you're so good yeah it's all different it's very different and that's what you did right that's really what I did WOW of course I I didn't come from You Know Rich parents yeah I started my first business when I was 18 years old in college wow how do you know I am 27. oh you're young still huh yeah I mean young yeah trying to feel old man got engaged so now it's well congratulations on that so you know since you start your eCommerce brand and all that you're making 620 a year from that what do you invest in because you say you invest in crypto and stocks so I I go against um The Wave okay everyone's telling you to buy it yourself yeah so when crypto is going up everyone's saying 300 that's when you know what you teach yourself yeah Grandma's telling you buy buy Bitcoin you get out yeah no true yeah you know people are like oh this is going to zero that's when you buy right same thing with all assets yeah not yet I think a little bit more to go in my opinion okay who knows yeah no one knows but um again that's just what I've learned being contrarian and go against the average person how much Bitcoin do you have right now 35 40. crypto and stocks what's the value it's probably looking at like 1.5 1.5 6 700 and but it used to be almost three right and yeah it'll get it'll get back up yeah oh man thank you so much for the knowledge we appreciate it say uh what you guys do like exactly what like what kind of company is it so we do real estate development real estate development okay we acquire commercial buildings okay innovate them flip them and then either print them out or sell them oh nice yeah but more of a strategic holding so we keep them for like 10 years most of the time I'm gonna guess your yearly income you tell me if it's higher or lower okay because you did say commercial building and you said CEO so I'm gonna have to say 800 000 it's list less 350. clothes around there so 300 000 give or take yes so if I wanted to be a CEO of a company of whatever you're doing what are some of the steps I have to do do I have to like find a mentor do I have to join the right company like what do you know I think the most important thing is education but I think education is very important education yeah okay I think also uh being practical it's not just having all this academic background without actually practicing in the real world yeah so if you look at the most successful people in this world they have always cared about education but at the same time they started working at early ages they started working while they are maybe in high school so I think this is very important is to do the yeah if you have the knowledge alone yeah and then all of a sudden you have been put in the real world it will not be enough yeah you need experience yeah how does one get the experience just doing it right you're just doing it yeah and you start at early ages so you're not going to start as a CEO but get to work your way up yeah combining the education with the with the experiences and we both got our PhD oh dang phd's over here phds but you guys don't really use those degrees huh for your for your current yeah you know you know you never know if you are really using it because it's it's it's in in your mind yeah and you might be practicing it without even knowing that you have because you acquire a lot of knowledge true yeah and then it's in the back of your head but once you come to making very important decisions or political decision to say all of a sudden all these things starting to come to your mind that's a cried a lot crying a lot okay so let's say I'm starting from Ground Zero I want to do what you do what's the first thing I got to do I feel like out here the first thing you have to do is network network okay Network there's a lot of like yeah that's that's where I get a lot of my opportunity okay yeah networking you know the right people yeah that's that's how I make my money I love that okay and we love the Burberry I saw you throwing the Burberry because I was like out here yeah I was like geez Louise are you I think for my job specific yeah networking networking as many people as you can and not saying no to anything like taking any job yeah I love that because your network is your net worth what do you guys do for work import okay both of you yeah oh nice okay how much can you make doing that per year can I guess tell me if I'm higher or lower okay okay ready okay three 3.8 million per year [Music] higher and three three million per year what kind of goods do you export or import ant you guys been doing it for 15 years if I wanted to do what you do what is the first step do I have to go to school do you just need to find a customer expensive so you just need to find customers that's it for the customer you can sell anything so do you have a factory or a warehouse or yeah okay so so like you're kind of like the middle man ah okay so middle man and you export and you make sure you you handle everything on their behalf got you what do you do for work both of you oh I'm and I'm a photographer and art director oh nice I'm gonna guess both your incomes okay okay 130 Grand yeah yeah yeah full time yes 1 15. a little low when I'm working I've taken the last couple years off okay okay so 115 wow if I wanted to be an accountant or if I wanted to be a photographer like yourself let's start with you what is the first step I gotta do I know I got to go to college right get a degree I guess if you want to be certified yes okay so you don't have to necessarily go to college um to be a CPA you do okay but to um just do like bookkeeping okay um you could just do a online classes or you could do like uh that that doesn't require any certification really and uh like right now like you don't have to be certified and you can charge up to 65 an hour really being certified are you are you certified um I'm working on it oh well and you're making over that's crazy yeah so that's why I want to get certified because then my rate will triple yeah that's actually very useful information because a lot of people think like oh I gotta like get my degree first to be an accountant but what you're doing is you're still making over six figures and you don't even have your uh your cert yet but you're working on it wow that's a bachelor's degree he had the income to buy a piece of property and that's part of his income is he leases that out okay yeah yeah so so a little bit of smart investing okay um but you know I I give up some benefits today so I can add benefits later yeah so 100 yeah I love that and then you if I wanted to be a photographer make your kind of money what do I got to do what's the first step just like create an Instagram or create no create when I give advice to hair makeup stylist anybody or director is pick out your favorite pick out your North Star and break down what they do and start creating content like them whatever content creation that you're doing you've looked at other people are like oh I like what they do yeah I like a Steadicam I like a one camera you know yeah you keep going oh I need better sound now I need some editing now I need some lighting and you just build on that yeah we got my guy over here what's your name Daniel Daniel nice to meet you snooge what do you do for work uh what do I do for work shoot uh I just recently quit my job oh I used to be a elementary school psychologist really eight nine years no way how old are you I am 31 you're young thank you okay let me can I guess your income 110 Grand per year no I was getting overpaid that's why I had to quit overpaid how much it was forty thousand forty thousand wow and you did it for eight years yeah and what do you do now what do I do now I'm just uh freelancing I make videos with my homie right here okay look at that look at the camera and I emcee weddings really yeah how much do you make now shoot um I've only been doing it since April 4 000 a month 48 48 more than your last job yeah more than my last job but the most important thing is you love what you do and you have more creative freedom we just want to know what you do for work I've been in the workplace for 50 years okay and I've been a retailer okay we had 10 stores in my parents so you had 10 stores 10 stores about 20 000 square feet just out of downtown okay and after 25 years I went with my wife in manufacturing oh wow and in wholesale my wife used to go to Europe twice a week or twice a month that's twice a year yeah four times to China a year okay and we used to manufacture handbags oh wow we used to sell ladies accessories are you able to see the brand name well we were in a brand but we used to sell people like Forever 21 Justice oh wow we used to sell people like TJ Maxx or Ross we represented about 10 lines can I guess how much you made off of that good we made a good list can I guess I am retired you can say higher or lower you don't have to say oh yeah you're right so just I'll just guess we had some very strong years then we had some years to work listen coven killed us though would you say you made over 400 000 a year not every year not every year it varies okay so give or take four three okay that's dope if anybody wanted to get into manufacturing like yourself it's harder um designing bags like you're like your wife what are some of the first steps to get to you know to get started well it helps to be even a retailer for a while so you understand what people are asking you for okay so retailer first thing that you think is gonna you have a reason why you're making it most likely people want things that they could have it for a time and keep wearing new things yeah that's what we do that's you ever Forever 21 I have yeah I shop there sometimes yeah they were a great store for us and they're a little different now okay and we used to sell uh we used to sell Specialties there used to be this many specialty stores right now there's this many kind of working with an idea what you're doing no one knows what they're doing right you have to have some idea of what fashion is okay hopefully you can meet people okay in a business where you can maybe sell hi guys how you doing what do you guys do for work okay how about you compliance can I guess your income do it for myself okay for yourself uh 300 000 per year more 700 000 per year man wow so you're making a lot of money yeah and then you don't want to be you don't want to do it or anything uh 400 000 no 200 100 120 that's pretty high 150. oh 130 at the hand you guys are like a power couple huh if I wanted to do what you did what is the first step I have to do so let me drop machines so learn how to drive machines and then because you kind of like have other drivers doing it on your behalf I'm assuming oh you do it yourself and that pays you 700k a year wow to get started in what you do what are the first steps just getting in the right did you get started with the daycare ownership I was 21 years old started off real small and just kept building and being multiple buildings and just kept growing up okay business and brunch off take one business to feed another business and keep going so it's more than that as well okay so like do you have to buy a piece of real estate first and then you just open up a daycare and then you set up the infrastructure is that how you did it or okay I started small and then just went bigger and bigger and just hustled I went door-to-door and you just feel door to door A lot of it is Word of Mouth a lot of it is building relationships yeah and once you do that you know everybody just kind of branches together and from there you can build other businesses from your one day okay okay and how much for that first one that you open how much did you have to put down or how much did you put down me just say if this like this you are going to when you start any type of business you will not make any profit I guess for the first five years you want to be investing money it's gonna be a lot yeah okay so you never get started with a business and make money you're going to lose some money yeah so you have to be prepared to lose money and during the five-year Market when you start seeing some type of problem a little okay got you okay I start seeing a lot until after 10 years got you so stack y'all
