Growing Spaghetti Squash In Containers

hey everyone this is David a growing eat this I'm always looking for containers that I can drag around and grow plants in and I like when I could find these find these at all these but they haven't gotten any in yet but I did find these tubs now yeah they're flexible but what you fill them with dirt they'll pretty much stay put so I got three of them I've got a three-quarter inch drill now I got to put some water holes in them drainage holes I'm gonna put a bunch of holes on the bottom we'll see if I can put some in the side so I'm gonna work on these and we'll be back when I get those done show you the next step all right I've done some fresh compost sifting I'm gonna add and this will get planting soil lighten up the whole mess and in some far light [Music] this is my standard mix here for gardening for the containers half compost half a good potting mix and then perlite hey Barry Haley come see me give me a place come here cami treat yourself right say hello to everybody chasing lizards doctor go get some more lasers okay I got this mixed up pretty good now I'm gonna add in some of this basic organic fertilizer that I make up this is a garden town tomato town Holly told whatever the tone is I get a good price on and then I had some extra magnesium to it let's go make this good good soil to start with now I'm going to fill these tubs with it one or two of them to mix more [Music] okay so there's what one looks like I'm gonna cart this one down to where I want to plant it then I'll do the other two but you see how I'm doing this so we're gonna move down now the way I'm actually gonna position this and get it planted all right I got these place down here now I had some some old shingles so they gotta be 20 25 years old they're worthless shingles so I put them down for a week control got a chain-link fence here for things to run up and down and the only squash I have that's really ready to do anything is this spaghetti squash so I'm gonna plant them here and make them feel free to either run out in the yard behind me which is not particularly spiffy yard not much growing looks the weeds or they can climb up this chain-link fence don't really care do either one they want to do as long as they make me lots of spaghetti squash wonderful root structures each one I planted two seeds and I got two plants and then our spaghetti squash safe from some Scottish carts we grew last year in the water then I got some lime tea here they'll get some nice liquid food ready to go help those little roots just now I got two tubs here the spaghetti squash started still got one tub left with next thing that shows up so this is David agro and eat this I'm heading inside because it he was really getting hot and I'm starting to burn May 14 day the garden is really transitioning into the summertime plants this is David once again thank you for a while
