Grounded - S2E3.5 - Tips and Tricks update to building on the tree (Can you anchor to the tree?)

welcome back my agents to another episode of the insured gamer yes I am sick but I'm here with kind of an update with what we're doing I'm excited about it it might be a shorter video but I'm excited about the update if this is something that you're looking for please stick around and stay tuned [Music] all right get in with it as you remember we went up and finally completed our staircase all the way up to the tree the mushroom caps so we're at the mushroom caps which is an important thing to note that we are at the mushroom caps it's on the side of I guess the shrub side if we want to call it that so uh when we get up to the mushroom caps as you remember we created um a little walkway I'm just kind of doing a little design just to kind of make it look maybe a little bit more like a suspension bridge um and then we built our little Hubble I think that's all that you saw last time well I decided to do a little grinding as you can see there are a lot of stems I would like to however thank both of my friends uh who did put in some effort and get some stems as well I jumped on today and then saw that there was a ton of stems uh that they had just put on some pallets for me so that was very nice I'm just trying to update this I don't know what this room's gonna be currently it's just a it's just a room just a room with a balcony that's it well then I decided Well let's go on from there um just been doing a lot of work been doing a lot of work and again remember that we have our reinforced bars down at the bottom that way that if by accident we do tear up one of our uh flooring flooring that it's not gonna all fall apart that uh the whole structure will be sound and will be intact love it I like that though this is a little house so let's go let's uh let's take you on the tour I did again trying to make this look like a little suspension bridge I don't know if we can uh yeah maybe do a little camera shot out there uh let's see uh does it look like a suspicious bridge I wish it would go a little faster that's not bad looking I like that a lot oh yeah that's that's pretty good but yeah oh hello oh there we go uh apparently that's as far as we can zoom out which is fine uh but yeah so that's what we've been doing uh is is this room here when we go into the room you can see lights uh at night I've got a fairly decently lit up so what I did in this room I wanted to create a downstairs and I wish that I would have done this a little bit bigger but I would like my mechanics stuff up here maybe put a workbench over here and I think what we did in season one if you want to call it that well we didn't season when we figured out that if you put tools up here you can put a corresponding box down below uh such as this with some of that in it and it will pull the tools will pull from the top boxes again I wish I might I should have made this room a little bit bigger that way I could maybe put a couple more things in there that storage is probably going to go down there but then I decided yeah why stop there why stop right here uh and we can go further and so this is currently what I'm doing I am currently building out here we're just continuing the Trek along around the tree I'm actually going to fill this entire area in and then I discovered something I guess if you want to call us a tip or trick an updated Tipper trick uh you know how I said you couldn't anchor to the tree which you can't uh I this is not anchored so if I were to actually destroy this entire thing with the support structure and everything this whole thing would fall down well then I realized something I saw something this little notch in the tree I was like hmm I never knew that was there until just now and so I'm gonna record it and figure out what is this Notch about I don't know I wish they would have put some science up here that would have been freaking awesome if they would have put signs up here and been like hey if you can get up to this top of the tree you get some science maybe like a thousand science but anyways uh yes drink or die um but then I realized well wait a minute this is a pretty flat Notch up here hmm and I decided let's look and you can you can build onto the tree this is an anchor point so even kind of down here is an anchor point because it's just barely flat enough that's an anchor point that I might try to utilize to some degree uh but yeah so that was exciting that that was an anchor point I might again I might try to try to do something with that so that way if for some reason I do accidentally detect a floor or my friends to touch a floor it doesn't all collapse but yes this is an anchor point up here I might I I'm definitely going to try to try to make this something I want to try to make this something up here but yeah so this is an updated Tipper trick while you cannot anchor to the side if it'll let me you kind of anchor to the side of the tree but you can anchor in this Notch over here I completely missed that jump so you can't anchor to the side over here which is nice um so yeah so try that out hope that helps you uh but yeah we're just going to continue grinding away over here just going to continue just uh yeah just going around the tree I hope I think I'm Gonna Fill This in I would like this area to be like our um oh I don't know our plant area where we have some mushroom stuff growing Maybe now we can fill it in get a get a full deck out here uh yeah that's the I think that's the plan anyways uh got 11 seconds till I die well this has been the insured gamer Goodbye
