Ideology of general. A lot of things happened
while we were on "vacation". I'm saying "vacation"
because vacations during quarantine is like crying in the rain. Besides depressing,
it's unnoticeable. But one specific thing
caught our attention: Gilmar Mendes saying
that when he took office as minister of Health
during the pandemic, the Army was associating itself
with genocide. The Ministry of Defense got disappointed
and enforced the National Security Law, which prevents citizens
from inciting animosity against the armed forces, including the Army,
the Navy and the Air Force. Yes, this law exists,
and it's so feared that Gilmar Mendes
had to explain himself. Specially because
if he were arrested, there would be no one
to set him free. We always wonder who guards the guards
and who polices the police, but who'd set Gilmar free? He'd have to grant himself
the habeas corpus. It'd be super complicated,
legally speaking. He'd have to call himself, saying:
"I can't answer right now, I'm in jail." It'd be something
legally complicated. But today we're talking about them,
the glorious Brazilian Army, without inciting
any kind of animosity because we wouldn't dare
breaking the National Security Law. So, we're going to present
the only possible show about the Army, with extensive compliments
to this pure and flawless institution, essential to our Republic
since its early days. A Republic
that they've created themselves. Yes. They have the right to do
whatever they want with it. Just like Silvio Santos on SBT. If you had a channel
or a Republic, you'd act like Silvio
or the generals. You'd employ your family
and rerun shows from the 70s. That's normal. Yes. The Republic was a military coup. Yes, sorry. No need to enforce
the National Security Law. It was a fair and well-deserved
military intervention. After all,
we have to consider this, slavery had just ended
at the stroke of a pen. Nobody asked the Army. And worse, the emperor was refusing
to pay indemnity to slave owners. It was a great loss overnight. So, our generals had the courage
to align with this suffering class, the enslavers. Besides, they've always
considered patriotism. Why? Because every army has
its historical enemies. The French for the English,
the Americans for the Russians, the Chinese for the Japanese, the Berdinazzi for the Mezenga...
In case you watched "O Rei do Gado". Who's Brazilian Army's
historical enemy? Our Army has always valued
national products when it comes to enemies. Most part of its interventions
has always been against ourselves. We don't give attention
to gringos. We can't wash
our dirty linen in public. Meanwhile, in the rest of the world,
the Army is a force that defends countries
against external threats. But not here. This saves time, money
and customs-related problems. Brazil is always full
of internal enemies. Slaves for instance,
they had a thing for freedom. Just like sailors, who had a thing
for being flogged. Like farmers, who think
they have the right to have rights. Brazil is full
of potential enemies. Brazilians
are their own Vietcongs. Also, having a war inside Brazil
is way better for the environment because it decreases a lot
the Army's carbon footprint. They don't have to use
airplanes or ships. They were the pioneers
in home office. Greta never mentions that. It was with the same
environmental concern that in the late 19th century, the Army
fought in the War of Canudos (straw). They were against straws
way before this idea of saving turtles. They were already planning
to eliminate them. Officers killed around 25,000 people
in the backlands of Bahia, burnt their houses,
beheaded men, women and children. Not to mention
Antônio Conselheiro. It must be annoying having
the word "Advisor" as a last name. "But they only killed
Northeasterns." Of course not, guys. Years later,
they did the same in the South, not to benefit just a few people. They went South
for the Contestado War. It was very similar. This time they were defending
properties of an American company, and they killed
at least 10,000 Brazilians. So, there's always been a concern
for spreading massacres around Brazil, without any bias. We don't know exactly how many
people died in each of these massacres because our troops have this know-how,
they're really good at hiding deaths. And it's also about being humble. It's impolite saying:
"I killed 17,500..." "I killed 18,000. What about you?"
"I killed 23,000." We don't need that.
I don't care how many have died. Of course
not only Brazilians died. There was a setback
when Brazil joined Argentina and Uruguay
to attack Paraguay in 64. In 1864, way before. You may think: "Were all of them
necessary to attack Paraguay? Wasn't our Army strong enough? For Paraguay? 3 against 1? That's not even a war,
that's the Polish Corridor." Apparently it was necessary
because the war lasted many years. Brazilian Army is an Aries,
so they're vengeful, and they decided
winning wasn't enough. Even after taking
Paraguay's capital, our troops decided they'd only leave
after killing the president, Solano López. The president got intimidated
and started recruiting younger soldiers. In the end, 80% of male population
in Paraguay was killed. I think they were going
to kill all men, but somebody said:
"Guys, not every man..." So, they stopped at 80%.
They were reasonable. And persistent because during
one of the last battles, our generals were brave enough
to face a very dangerous battalion of Paraguayan elders,
women and children. Yes. Our commander started
executing unarmed prisoners, including children
under 10 years old. It might seem cruel, but people quarantined
with 10-year-olds get it. There was also our positive participation
in WWII, which was small. Some will say
it was a tiny participation, but there's a reason.
Our Army has always been thoughtful. It took years for it to decide
on which side they were in WWII. Our troops only got to Europe in 1944,
in the end of the conflict. The party was almost over,
it was playing "Mr. Jones". "Oh, we're late..." When they got there,
people were singing "Evidências". "Oh God... We missed it." They spent so much time getting ready...
This is what happened. Some of the most important
military leaders of that time wanted Brazil to fight
beside the Nazis. Yes, many people from the Army. Brazilian students
used to go to the streets, asking Brazil
to fight against the Nazis. Like "O Estadão" would say:
"It's a hard choice." Nazis, the Allies... It was hard. On one hand...
We have to think about it. On one hand, Nazis saw Brazilians
as an inferior race. On the other hand,
apparently also did the Army. So, they were like:
"What do we do now? Which side are we on?" War is not
our generals' favorite activity. Let's be honest.
They don't dig it. Unless, of course,
war against inanimate objects. YouTube is full of videos
of officers blowing up trees. This is Manobra Escolar. A trial by fire
for everyone who's joining. With our shots
Of time and percussion We lead enemies
To death and confusion It's easy to criticize, but you don't know
what this tree has done. You don't know if it was hiding
a flower with no fruit. Maybe they told it to march
and it didn't move. You don't know. Besides fighting trees,
Brazilian Army's favorite hobby is taking the government
to avoid communism. Yes, it was in order
to avoid communism that the Army helped Getúlio
to pull a self-coup in 1937, to end democracy
and turn Vargas into a dictator. But the dictator created minimum wage,
granted labor rights to people... It was the so-called:
"The dictator has lost his mind! Minimum wage, 13th salary... 13 salaries. Who wants it?
Repeat after me: 13 salaries!" Getúlio had to resign and support a general
in the elections. Some years later,
Getúlio came back, this time by vote. In 1954, once more, the Army
threatened to pull another coup, but Getúlio ruined everything
because he killed himself. Suicide is a real turn-off
to pull a coup. The guy's being buried,
so it can't be done. They had to wait,
but they were persistent and tried to prevent
the president's successor, Juscelino, from taking office
on the following year. It didn't work, so, in 1959, Army officers
joined the Air Force and hijacked a plane
full of passengers to try and pull a coup on JK. It also didn't work. But our officers are patriots,
they keep trying despite hardships. It's the so-called:
"I'm a coupist, I never give up!" In 1964, the president João Goulart,
probably another communist, freaked out and threatened
to educate the poor. He said he was going to do that. He lost it... "I'll let illiterate people vote,
whatever. I'll put a limit to the money
rich people send abroad." He wanted to limit
the money rich people sent... It was clearly a threat to the holy
and founding right of this country, which is looting wealth
and sending money abroad. So, the military seized power
for decades and set many trends, such as overbilling,
torture and huge sunglasses. Three trends that are here to stay,
if you think about it. With their strong hands
and friendly arms, officers in power censored,
tortured and killed everyone who deserved it,
including pregnant women and children. Our Army seems
to have a thing for kids. It must be the Christian spirit:
"Let the little children come to me." But even our valuable generals
can mess up sometimes. Let's be honest. We have to criticize. No need to enforce
the National Security Law... Relax... But as the 80s came, people saw officers
didn't know how to manage economy. But nobody's perfect,
that's completely normal. Dictatorship lost support
inside and outside Brazil. And when people mess up,
heroes show up. Yes, in 1981, two officers
left their headquarters and armed two bombs to blow up during a concert
in Riocentro. Many people would die, but the bright side is that people
would think communists planted the bomb, and they'd see
what communists were capable of. In short, officers wanted
to kill people so they'd understand
that communists kill people. It didn't work. It was shocking,
because it was a great idea. One of the officers died
when the bomb blew up in his lap. Here's the president telling
how he heard about the bomb. I was in Granja do Torto
Saturday morning when I got a call
from Heitor de Aquino. He said: "This is happening,
it's serious, a captain is in serious condition
and a sergeant died." I told him:
"Finally communists made a mistake. We're always making mistakes,
now it was their turn." I thought communists had put
the bomb in the car. Half an hour later,
they called me. It wasn't Heitor. "Mr. President, there are signs that it was one of our people." I really like
Brazilian Army's honesty. People usually
don't notice it, but... He confessed that somebody called him
saying officers had died, and he says:
"Finally communists made a mistake. We're always making mistakes..." Yes, the State
had the monopoly on mistakes. Figueiredo is the proof that the Army,
unlike the left-wing, can do self-criticism. After the end of the regime, officers were
out of power for some time, but they kept helping Brazilians
make their passage to the other side. In Rio's slums, for example. And now they're back in the Planalto,
with Bolsonaro and general Mourão. Bolsonaro is a former captain
that left military life because he was too undisciplined, he tried blowing up
a headquarter... Even so, he kept
being a friend of the institution, showing our Army not only is glorious,
but also not resentful. Bolsonaro is always welcomed
with pomp and ceremony by the institution he deserted. This video is from 2015, and the song
is the anthem of Agulhas Negras. Pay attention
to this beautiful melody and lyrics. Beside the cannon Onto the engineering The commissary, the cavalry Military equipment
And communication We are the hope Of an intelligent country Yes, they're the hope
of an intelligent country. This hope made them
bet everything on Jair Bolsonaro. If you thought military occupation
could only happen with tanks, they proved it's not true. As soon as Bolsonaro was elected, our troops were ready to take all strategic positions
of the government, being nominated
to almost half of all ministries. Now, we have over 6,000 officers leading important positions
in the Republic. Usually active general officers, that is, people who have a job
in the armed forces, which is perfect because
they have political power and a riffle. This way, negotiations must be
much more fun. In more communist countries, per say,
a military occupation like this one would be a scandal. The U.S., for example. One general, just one, was in a picture
next to president Trump right after the repression
of antiracist actions, and it caused a mess because it meant the armed forces could be politically aligned
with the president. After huge constitutional whining,
the general had to apologize. I mean, he's weak! He's apologizing for being
in a picture next to the president! But here,
officers are everywhere. They almost tattooed it,
we're in this together. They've taken
two essential areas: the federal response
to the pandemic and the control
of environmental crisis in the Amazon. And they had a great idea: instead of controlling
the pandemic and deforestation, they're controlling
pandemic and deforestation data. It's way easier and cheaper. They've fired epidemiologists
and environmentalists from the government, and now they're brilliantly
hiding deforestation and concealing deaths
from the pandemic. It's like that Buddhist saying: "If a tree falls in a forest and just the INPE satellite
sees it, but we fired INPE's director, has it really fallen?" That's right. It's also important to mention how much
our officers value families. Their families. Many generals are offering
good jobs on the government as a gift for their children. And it's comforting to know they're being rewarded
for their sacrifice. Besides their salary
from the Army, they're earning just 60% more
to work for the government. Isn't it great? 60% more. These generals also come
in Minister of Health's clothes. Awesome, right? In addition to that,
Bolsonaro has increased their bonus, despite
the current economic crisis. Crisis
is an opportunity for them. But officers on the government
are not selfish, they also think about
officers outside the government. One of the benefits they achieved
for all officers is not being in the pension reform,
applicable to everyone else. Yes, even though they're responsible
for the greatest pension shortfall ever. They're not in the reform, being an example of strength
for the working class. "No more less rights." Brazilian teachers,
learn from them. Officers didn't stop at keeping
privileges they have in Brazil, like pension with full salary
and no minimum age, besides pension for children
of officers who committed crimes. They've also earned new benefits. Officers who take courses
during their career will have an increase
of 73% on their bonuses. So, stop saying the government
doesn't promote education. Yes, they pay a lot of money
for officers to take courses. It's way better
than wasting money on kids. Why educating kids?
They're impolite and loud. They'd rather
be watching "PAW Patrol". Why spending money
to educate them? This benefit only will cost
over 25 billion reais on the next 5 years. This is the price
of an intelligent country. They're also doing great
at obeying. Civilian ministers of Health,
as doctors, refused to follow
the president's orders to prescribe chloroquine
to treat COVID. Just because "the medicine
is not appropriate to treat it". "It's too risky! People will die! There's no scientific proof!" So, they replaced doctors
with a military officer. The Army's lab has already fabricated
millions of chloroquine pills, and the supply is enough
for 18 years. Yes, enough time
so chloroquine can join the Army. And maybe produce
even more chloroquine. Chloroquine only lasts for 2 years,
so the supply for 18 years is useless. But it's a favor officers
have done for us because now the country will have
to face the challenge of being creative
to use all this chloroquine. We're seeing many great ideas. Table wedges, bullets... Bolsonaro himself tested
if it worked as rhea repellent. Results were excellent,
it's on phase 3 now. Right now, Army troops
are taking chloroquine to indigenous villages
in the forest. Mean people say they're taking
the virus too, but that's nonsense. That's what
officers call "synergy". They're using the pandemic crisis
to fuel the Amazon crisis and vice-versa. The person commanding
this win-win strategy, the one protecting the forest,
is vice-president Mourão. This is him showing
how great it's going. Results are clear. If we compare deforestation rates
from May this year to May last year, the decline
is nearly almost complete. This nearly almost complete decline...
I like the expression "nearly almost". But he's being modest because deforestation
has actually increased nearly almost over 100% if compared to last month. And it's the highest rate
since 2015. Yes. Why is he doing that?
Because he doesn't like bragging. According to Mourão, most part
of military mission on the government seems to be about
concealing data. Concealing is their expertise. In this picture, we can see
people trying to make Mourão look less like Joel Santana. Officers' wives
are also makeup experts. During the pandemic, they went to Yanomami villages
to do social work. They applied makeup
on indigenous women, teaching them basic concepts. Because that tribal thing
is too 90s. Always the same patterns...
For God's sake. Let's move on. They can do so many different things
they don't know about yet. So, they did something like a mix
of Borba Gato with Boca Rosa. Borba Rosa, and it was great. Since our officers
are too strategic, they used part of the money
from this operation to paint headquarters
that aren't even located in the Amazon, covering up indigenous people,
bills and headquarters. That's what I call efficiency! Recently,
Brazil's General Accounting Office revealed that
during the pandemic, the Ministry of Health
is taking months to pass on urgent funds
to states and cities. Cool, huh?
They're saving public money, preventing the waste of money
to save lives of elders and diabetic people. I totally agree. This way they'll have more
for their pension. Maybe that's why
on Bolsonaro government generals are treated by most part
of the press as being more technical, as opposed
to the ideological wing. President Jair Bolsonaro denied
the existence of internal discussion between the ideological wing
and the military. President Jair Bolsonaro tried
cutting down the internal conflict between the ideological wing
and the military. Once more,
our great Army was discredited. Because this idea
of conflict between wings is a quibble from the press. Why? Because the military wing
is ideological. They say the ideological wing is composed
by Olavo de Carvalho's followers, like Damares and Ernesto Araújo, but this is really unfair
because many officers also follow Olavo. Actually, let's be honest,
they discovered Olavo. They like Olavo since before
he was famous. Olavo used to give lectures
to Army officers in 1992. In 1999, officers gave him
the Pacificador medal. They're not posers,
they're real fans. They're Olavo fans
since he used to write horoscopes. Check out this video
of the great general Villas Bôas. Politically correct thinking is ideologized. And when matters are ideologized, they lose the vision for results and start working
on its organic empowerment, let's say. So, they start creating
more of the same. When you... The more
we have environmentalism, the more we'll have
environmental damage. The more indigenism, the more our poor indigenous people
will be abandoned. The more racial concern, the more we'll have racism. Of course, guys! If you talk about racism,
it'll start appearing. That's how it works.
All these "isms" are bad. Look at what Christianism
has done to Christ. He never came back. Ideologies are the evil
in the world, for sure. But the general is so modest
he doesn't see this is also an ideology. Coincidentally, a person who has
the same ideology is Olavo de Carvalho. The apple
of this world dictatorship's eye is the collection
of politically correct rules and values they want to impose
on the whole world, whatever it takes. When you start praising
"gayist" people, accepting they're always
poor victims, you're automatically justifying
any violence coming from them. Gay violence
is increasing worldwide. We had 2 cases
this week in Brazil. When Villas Bôas says
gay people cause homophobia or that environmentalists
destroy the environment, he's showing he's really cult. She's showing
he's read this book: "The Least You Need To Know
Not To Be An Idiot", by Olavo. Another Olavo theory
that officers repeat a lot is about the evil power
of Foro de São Paulo. In the 15th anniversary
of Foro de São Paulo, it already had
over 200 organizations that belonged to it, among which there were
legal political parties, terrorist organizations,
drug traffickers... All mixed up,
like an evil political gang-bang. ...Foro de São Paulo. It has ruled
for the last 15 years, supremely. Because many
South American countries had their governments under the aegis
of left-wing organizations related
to this New International. I'd even call it
the Fifth International, the international
of Foro de São Paulo. Great minds think alike. Foro de São Paulo really exists, it's a group
of left-wing parties and movements. But it's never been secret. It has a website, people in charge
create releases for the press and accredit reporters
to do the cover. Nobody does it
because nobody's interested in seeing old bearded
party leaders arguing. But Olavo added
this amazing ingredient of the secret, making things more spicy. And that's why Mourão treats
a meeting with a huge sign as a clandestine movement. Anyway,
if officers aren't technical, and if they're so ideological
like Weintraub, then why is Bolsonaro getting people
out of the ideological wing and expanding the participation
of the military wing? It's simple. Because officers
are good at 2 things that people like Damares
and Ernesto Araújo are terrible at. They're obedient
and they know how to keep a secret. As we saw, this is essential to
prescribe a medicine that doesn't work during a pandemic
that's killing thousands of people, or to pretend
that deforestation is under control. Now, I know what you're thinking. Isn't it weird that armed forces can
offer 6,000 people to the government? Aren't all these people missed
in headquarters? If 6,000 teachers went
to work for the government, education would stop. If SUS lost 6,000 doctors
or nurses, hospitals would collapse. How can a state organization lose thousands of people
without harming its mission? Because maybe its mission is exactly taking the government. That's what they've been trying
for over 100 years. Not to mention this is the only way
to sweep away cultural Marxism. And not only in our government,
but also in the U.S. This is the leader
of Southern Command in the U.S., Craig Faller,
bragging in front of Trump, saying Brazil sent an air officer
for free to work for him, earning a salary of almost 50,000 reais
paid by Bolsonaro government. 50,000 reais for an air officer. He must be covered in gold. I hope. But 50,000 reais per month
is cheap. The U.S. can keep him,
it doesn't make a difference. Because our valuable armed forces
are really valuable. They're worth almost
100,000 billion reais a year, paid by us. That's almost the amount spent
by the Ministry of Health. Yes, health budget is not so larger
than the Defense's, which is absurd. What does SUS do for the country
to justify all that money? A couple of surgeries,
some labors, they fabricate some vaccines
and have some ambulances. Great, but does SUS paint
the curb of nation white? Does SUS hold parades
on September 7th? Has SUS ever saved Brazil
from the evil Paraguay? Has any doctor had the capacity
of commanding our Army? No! Who's commanding our health now?
A general! That's why it's fair that Pazuello earns
his minister salary and his general pay. That's why health professionals
don't have the right to full pensions, housing granted by the State
and pension for relatives, but officers do. Got it? No?
Because you're not an officer. They get it. And just like they said
on that beautiful song, officers still hope that maybe
one day Brazil could be intelligent. Just like them! But I'm here to admit
that maybe it isn't possible. Let's be honest, the Army
has been trying to make us intelligent
for centuries. They've crushed
rebellions of slaves, pulled coups on the Empire,
the Republic, bombed São Paulo,
tortured, killed, and even pretended to be communists
to save Brazil from communism. They carried a bomb
and it blew up... It was a mess, they lost a Puma. Everything so the country
would be more intelligent. And we must admit,
it didn't work. It didn't work, officers. Brazil is not worthy
of its armed forces. It's not you, it's us.
You need to be happy. It's time you find a nation
that deserves you. Create a Tinder account,
I don't know. Paraguay? No, not Paraguay. They don't even have a coast.
The U.S.? No, Olavo is already there.
His brilliant mind needs a lot of space. He can have the U.S.
He's happy there. France? Too communist. Italy and Germany?
No, we'd have to go to war. Our Army is not trained for that.
It wouldn't be smart. But there's a perfect place. A place that is contaminated
with the color red. A place that needs to be taken
by the color olive green urgently. A place that needs
to be whitewashed and finally become
the nation capable of watching over Brazil. Yes, I'm talking about Mars. It's time our Army finds
a mission at its height. 230 million kilometers,
to be exact. It's necessary to free
not only a country, but a whole planet
from cultural Marsianism. It's necessary to prevent that the red of Mars gets to the blue planet, and finally free Brazil
from this feeling of guilt for delaying
your mission here for so long. Stand tall, warriors!
Our planet will never be red! This has been Greg News!
