Great Beginner Trail running from Johnson Valley to Big Bear! Rattlesnake Canyon Trail Review!

he needs some milk what's up guys and welcome to another episode of donation off-roast today it's a thursday it's tfti we brought some guys with us and check out who else here if you can see it the red trucks back there dustin came through um for reasons you guys don't need to know uh but basically today is an intro of the tfti to youtube so we do these runs usually on a thursday um and then these are just the invite only i pick two or three people and we go shoot some canyon or shoot something that we've never shot before um and this is kind of what's gonna be on patreon so we wanted to do an episode on youtube we brought jesse out we brought a few guys i'm gonna let dustin walk through and let you guys know who's here um but yeah this is an intro of what to expect on patreon we're gonna up patreon and make it better um we've kind of been inconsistent with it but we're going to change all that so today dustin came through tfti thursday let's get it all right first time out on a tfti run don't ask me how i got the day off i just got the day off but let's talk about who's here taco's here gladiators here as always got jesse chilling back there now let's take a look at jesse jesse's got some beef going on over here you guys remember uh some 37s they used to be sitting on these wheels and tires in tacoma check them out they're repurposed properly we explained on an early video i ended up selling my 37s of jesse temporarily we'll come back to the 37s but whatever up next we got our man in the jt diesel gladiator you guys saw him on the showdown video with josh which is uh josh's jk is chilling over there with the canopy on the top and then we got our man 4 runner crew ready to party so mostly like group today which is good we'll be able to cover a lot of ground we're heading that way going into rattlesnake canyon and then we'll see where it comes from there i mean we're gonna be heading into big bear so maybe we'll do some big bear stuff and we'll hit some other trails we'll see that's the beauty of today but we're gonna get to it gunner say what's up dude what's up what's up anyways let's get started right so coming into that section right now i just hit it pretty hard i landed hard but it soaked it up pretty decently what's up what's up guys [Music] oh it's going nice all right here comes david put it on the crew ah there it goes there it goes there it goes rev limiter that's what's up there you go there you go there you go there you go i know there you go there you go by that way but yeah [Applause] nice damn all right right there see if it comes [Music] hey that's four four high four you got to low it yeah but it's the only locks right there yeah i found soil come on man now you're really out though hey super winch super winching oh yeah yeah you're stuck stuck all right well turtle gang photo give it a little gas you're coming jesus 37 inch holes oh my god yeah boy on the crew is going to go at it again this time he did turn on all the bypasses so he said he needed to warm them up yeah no more models for you if you don't make it why is he giving up nah there wasn't enough gas right here something so what are you gonna do jesse i want to see if the airing down with the b locks is gonna be getting more traction so basically what happened right now is dustin's stuck we were trying to use crowd control to climb this hill super loose and jesse's like let's drop it down to like five or two psi and see if it makes any difference so that's what we're gonna do they're gonna drop it down two psi because we got nothing else to do and uh yeah we're gonna make sure it climbs up [Music] it gets out of it he wasn't moving from there right there it's going full sand what happened uh so lowering your tires to zero all right guys i'm not here but they're supposed to be doing slow that's the whole point slower fast either way no i mean it does help he tried fast at 15 psi so b locks if you have b locks yeah you can drop it to pretty much whatever you want and then uh we'll send it especially in soft sand it's like driving on a freaking cloud like this it's like a cloud right yeah i get lost a lot a lot at that time so i do a lot of trails at night all the way around yeah go go straight on to the cliff then you come back down [Music] you guys are sliding over it you're good slow because it's a big three foot drop you're uh completely over flexed [Music] nice steel [Music] destin go right a little bit more right or left right there you go now start turning left go straight so it climbs over and then come over you go straight a little bit more if you want there's a big rock right there [Music] okay go back up a little bit he's gonna he's got a turtle right there and we gotta take people back it up all right back up just a little bit you said round two i know [Music] [Music] here it comes yeah hey let's go people's chat oh oy hey that that's that is what kills open dip you don't know my speech is potter pinches spider chin gone let her bite let her bite let her bite let her bite you one i'll tell you want to back up keep on keep on all right back up now back up passenger nice and easy drop it keep close you're up your whole headline up there you got it router control throttle control there you go you feel that there you go look at that stop okay perfect did you listen hey that's good thinking [Music] no you sure keep going keep going dude nothing happened heading to rattlesnake canyon and dude it's not a tough trail but it's freaking awesome check this out check this out wait for it yo what up son that is sick there's a lot of livestock here i guess um right down below there's an owner and he lets a bunch of them loose so it's pretty sweet to see them out in the wild um there's still like a little bit of water and a lot of greenery so uh they're out here feasting yeah sick or else they can yeah everybody because we've [Music] okay so we're all done with rattlesnake for now we're posted up for lunch everyone's getting parked under a nice shady area there's a water tank behind us there's like uh a water doodad going on right there but anyways beauty shots some tacos all that good stuff let's get it jessie come in for the rescue that's so much good let's get it just no no no no no no you know somebody oh yeah [Music] back on the trail we are all stuffed shout out to jesse jesse made some bomb food we had tacos we got a salad chicken freaking chorizo dying i'm dying but we're going to continue on let's see what else we can find we already done with uh rattlesnake through rattlesnake canyon continued uh we checked out motino wash now we didn't really record anything there because we didn't hit the trail but we did walk through the gatekeeper as well as some of the obstacles we'll be coming back very very soon especially we got the xj coming back and we got some other things in the works so look forward to latino wash we're definitely looking forward to doing that but finish up rattlesnake canyon we continue through here all the way to big bear so that's that's a 38 right there we ended up in big bear pretty cool trail i mean it's kind of a lighter run in terms of rock crawling and anything in tents it's more of a you know scenic trail driving which is fine there's nothing wrong with that but we had a really good time today shout out to
