Grayl Geopress Nesting Cup and Hydration Kit

good morning guys i'm dave canterbury with super alliance outdoors in the pathfinder school and what i want to do today is i want to go over a new product with you and some accessories that we're releasing for that product as well a lot of people already know that we have been working for about six seven months maybe almost close to a year now on a nesting cup for the grail geopress if you're not familiar with the geopress the grail geopress is a four component system that's set up to be able to filter your water by filling up an outside container releasing the air and then setting this device inside and basically pushing down with your hands like this to force water through the filter and into the internal container and it's a very popular filter on the market it works really really well once you buy the geopress the only thing you have to replace is the filter and the filter is good for several hundred liters of water you can look on their website to get exact specs or on the self reliance outfitters website because we also sell this grail so this grill's been in production for a couple of years now or more and so we've been working with grail to develop a system that will give you a an all-inclusive filtration system and so what we did with them was we came out with a nesting cup for this grill it's got the pathfinder logo and the grill logo on it it is a 30 ounce to about the top of the handles it's got graduation markers on the inside it's about 30 ounces of cup and there's a little bit of a tapered design on this grail so we had to have custom tooling made to make a cut for this grill but it gives you a nesting cup and a lid that has strain holes in it and a breather hole in it and the reason behind this was basically if you had some type of failure mode with your filter or it became clogged or you wanted to save this filter conserve the resource you could boil water in a steel container it also gives you a way to carry a cook set with you that's all inclusive because now you can heat water in this cup for just add water meals and things like that cook food make medicine all those types of things and you can kind of nest this into a bottle bag with the cup and the lid so that cup and lid combination is going to release here in a couple weeks on grails website as well as self-reliance outfitters website it'll be a separate purchase from the bottle although there may be ways to add on or get combinations of the two and things like that on both websites also to go with this system what self-reliance outfitters has done is we have expanded this a little bit more to make it more inclusive which is a self-reliance outfitters exclusive addition to this kit and we've added two more components number one we've added a bottle bag and this bottle bag is the same bottle bag that we sell on our website currently which was built for up to a 40 ounce water bottle so you can put the grail and nesting cup inside this bottle bag and it fits in there just fine and zips right up so now you have a bottle bag to carry your cup your lid and your grail and you can store any other peripheral components like silverware things like that fire starting outputs that you want in the front and it's got molly on the back and a shoulder strap it's the same water bottle bag we already sell the other component to this kit is a small milbank bag that's made for the volume of liquid that goes into the grail and pre-filtering can be very important in two different applications number one if you're using the grail filter itself and you've got a lot of turbidity in the water it's always a good idea to filter that turbidity out because those are the things that will foul your filter so if you're trying to add longevity to that filter the more clear water you can put into it through filtering it in a bank bag like this the better off you're going to be flip side of that coin is if you have to boil water or you decide you're going to boil water you can also pre-filter that water to get the turbidity out before you boil that water for consumption and this mill bank bag is made for sro with a pathfinder logo on it by milbank bag usa and it folds up very neat and tidy and goes right inside here with the lid and again still leaves you plenty of storage room for utensils or whatever you want to put in there and then you have an all-inclusive filtration kit that you have a mechanical filter with a charcoal filter on it you have a way to boil water and you have an external filtering device to filter major turbidity and things like that out of the water before filtering or boiling when we set this up on our website it'll be set up where you can buy it as an all-inclusive kit it also be set up where you can buy just a cup and the lid just the grail itself just the milbank bag itself or add on pieces of it as you go you could buy just the grail and the cup and bottle or the cup and lid you could buy just a cup and lid and the milk bank bag if you've already got a bottle bag and you've already got a grail it'll all be set up like that on self-reliance outfitters website again in the next couple weeks i'll put more information out as we go as far as when exactly the release is going to be but i'm thinking it's going to be right around the august 15 time frame you will not be able to buy the milbank bag or the bottle bag on grails website only at self-reliance outfitters but you will be able to buy the cup and lid as well as the geopress obviously from grail's website so i just wanted to walk through that
