Graduation Crowd Silent for Student with Autism

[Music] I've always loved a special place that caramel has been for many years for many people during my 44 years in the caramel Central School District first as a student that is a teacher and now it's principal I realized how lucky we are and the wonderful culture created by the people who live and work in our community as well as our great student body and staff we talked about the six C's here at bar one see that often gets left aside it is so very powerful and underestimated is the sea for compassion I am lucky to see it every day and the actions of our students and staff and our community I'm going to ask the class of 2019 and all our family and guests to indulge me and diverting from the traditional framework of our graduation ceremony and to once again reflect and use the sea for compassionate down we have a young man here with us tonight a member of the class of 2019 his name is Jack Higgins jack has been called my high school for the past eight years and it's very important to not only play pays class bar in Kyle Carmel High School community next year he will transition to abilities beyond a chocolate bar unlike many of us Jack is super sensitive to loud noises so I'm asking that we give Jack his diploma first at the beginning of the ceremony in order to do that I'm going to ask a big favor of everybody today I would like everyone to not clap and not cheer that's correct not cloud and not cheer because it may only simply jacket as it comes to the podium to receive his diploma Jack will be escorted by his brother Pat and Brian along with mr. Rob and Kona plastic 2019 only you can if you so choose to table but in other words if you're 15 dollars that's a golf-ball I'm asking the weight of the jacket that's where they put the arena all right so please everybody live in freedom you can just keep talking to a nil and cheering to a No except in the class of 2019 you can clap once Jack receives diploma I would greatly appreciate so we're gonna announce Jack like you with everybody else Jack Higgins please come to the stage to receive your diploma thank you everyone is because of all of you that makes this place so special and wonderful

kind of off topic but why do they have different colored grad hats? We all had the same color (the school color) when i graudated over a decade ago.
