quinan Mitchell to the Eagles he can't keep getting away with it he can't keep getting away with it what is going on everybody day one of the NFL draft is in the books before we get into grading all of those picks from last night I want to say thank you everybody for joining me here on YouTube for the live stream last night I do want to apologize I had some technical difficulties getting things off the ground early that were certainly not expected so we had to Pivot with a lot of the preparation I had uh for this stream I wasn't able to do a lot of the cool stuff I was looking forward to so thank you for your patience as we got through that I am very confident I will have that stuff working here tonight for day two and of course tomorrow for day three and can't wait to see all of you back here for the streams the next couple of days uh but for this video we are going to be revisiting every pick from the first round and uh I suppose regrading the picks I do give live grades but now plenty of time to kind of let things process some of the crazier picks uh you know kind of thinking about all the reasons why these teams made these picks and putting out our final grades on them so please do hit that like button as we get started and let's dive in also definitely a disclaimer here I grade on a pretty tough scale if I have even one little thing to say I'm going to I'm going to ding it down but like a bgrade is a very good grade in my opinion I know it doesn't always come off that way but I think people can be a little bit too I don't want to say generous on draft grades but you see a lot of draft grades and it's like 25 picks with an A and I read that I'm like okay but what were like the really good picks you know so I'm trying to use that a to really differentiate you you guys get what I'm saying so I do want that disclaimer in there um but let's start with the Caleb Williams pick at the top of the draft I thought about this overnight and as so many of you guys know I grew up a Packers fan and have never really been scared of the Chicago Bears until I woke up this morning so that's like the best thing I could possibly say about the Caleb Williams pick in my opinion this isn't Justin Fields who had a lot of issues as a prospect I loved the risk they took on Justin Fields but he was there at 11 for a reason right Caleb Williams the Surefire number one pick I even said on the stream last night and I'll stand by it I think his expectations and his hype are being a little bit undersold because of a lot of variables because his fan base was was saying they'd rather have Justin Fields a few months ago because Bryce young the number one pick last year was such a flop um because the Bears have had such a bad track record with quarterback and because he paints his nails and a lot of people don't like that about him so I actually think the expectations and how incredible this pick is for the Bears I I think it's all being undersold a little bit and when you package all of this together the fact that they weren't supposed to have the number one pick they didn't think the Panthers were going to give them the number one pick when they traded down last year there's no way they could have expected that the fact that this fell into their lap maybe in the way that and Andrew Luck did because pton Manning missed the whole season and that got them number the number one pick sometimes things just happen for a reason and I'm actually going to give this the highest grade I can give the certified Ste because they weren't the worst team in the draft they weren't supposed to have this pick yet they're getting a near generational quarterback prospect so I'm going certified steel for the first pick today's draft stream is brought to you by Underdog fantasy as a DieHard NFL fan I get it the summer months can get a little bit long with our professional sports as we wait for our football to come back but thanks to Underdog fantasy pick them contest code TFG at Underdog fantasy thank you to Underdog for sponsoring today's stream and let's get back to the draft all right then we have Jaden Daniels at number two the narrative shifts pretty dramatically for me here I'm not a fan of this draft pick for Washington now I'm going to give this a c minus grade for them it's certainly not the end of the world but it is clearly not the pick I would have made myself that would have been Drake May the quarterback out of North Carolina that I thought was a tier in his own as qb2 and I thought Jaden Daniels was much closer to this crop with penx McCarthy and nicks than to a guy that you're considering taking over Drake May so that's my major criticism on this I think when it comes to Daniels he's an older Prospect than May that has more issues as a passer I don't think he sees the middle of the field all that well when he scrambles he's scrambling to run as opposed to Drake May who's scrambling to throw so I think you can make a case that Drake May is actually better overall at extending plays and in an NFL way uh not to say Jaden Daniels isn't very good at it but I think Drake May is exceptional at it the arm Talent is dramatically different Drake May has a way stronger arm than Jaden Daniels now you would give Daniels the nod when it comes to the Deep ball accur accuracy but I think you would give Drake May the nod when it comes to short to intermediate accuracy um and the thing with Drake May is he is younger he hasn't been playing football for all the way back to when he was 11 years old he was a multiport athlete his footwork is still a work in progress and that does lead to some inaccurate throws down the field but I think those accuracy issues have been quite overstated at this point he still drops absolute missile dimes deep down the field so I just don't really understand you know valuing Jaden Daniels over a drake May and maybe they were in that interview room and they just did not like what they heard from Drake May right um but based on the film I do not agree with this based on the upside I do not agree with this and I think the biggest indictment of this pick is every single Patriots fan I know out in Boston you know watching this at the bar is just ordering shots celebrating when the commanders make this pick uh because for New England at number three to get Drake may I have to give this a certified steal for a similar type of reasoning with the Bears you weren't expecting to land this level of a quarterback prospect based on where they were when the draft pick order shook down in January and New England was sitting there at it's like crap we're missing out on the top two quarterbacks in this draft we're going to have to Pivot and our our our future at quarterback is very much in question that's not what's happening here they celebrate getting Drake May um who I think in a lot of drafts would be the number one overall pick now I obviously am a big fan of Drake may I I I'm heav I'm very high on his upside I think he's somewhere between Justin Herbert and Jordan love as a prospect um now the work's not done it's not okay we drafted Drake May he's going to carry this organization for the next 15 years that's certainly not where New England's at and if it was New England drafting Jaden Daniels I'd be even more concerned because I do think he's a worse Prospect but what I'm getting at here is the the situation in New England is not ideal it is far from it I would argue they have the worst surrounding cast for a quarterback in the National Football League you have a new play caller an unproven play caller coming in that's not even the starting point really it's it's the offensive line and the wide receivers I I don't really want Drake May starting right away not because of the footwork and some of the stuff he needs to develop I think that stuff he's a good enough player that he could develop that stuff while he plays what I don't want is him shattering his confidence getting beat up behind a bad old line with nobody to throw to like what what we started to see with Bryce young last year right so I hope New England continues to do these things the right way they have a competent player in jacobe brassette uh and they have a top pick coming up they have to continue to invest in this offense I would like to see them um continue throughout the offseason after the draft to add pieces to this offense where they can and I don't want them to play Drake May until it's going to be a comfortable cozy situation it doesn't have to be cozy but it has to be competent before you play Drake May so they still have a ways to go this is not a bust proof pick um forget the prospect for a second whichever quarterback they put into this situation even Caleb Williams would not be anything close to bust proof because as we've seen over the years the landing spot and what you put around the young kid matters as much as anything with these quarterbacks so they still have a lot of work to do um but the pick was the right one and in my opinion a steal to get Drake may even if it's just a pick later than he should have gone when you're talking about the top picks and quarterbacks like this I'm comfortable giving out a high grade like that that we're not going to see a ton of those certified steel grades in this video but then we get to the Arizona Cardinals getting Marvin Harrison at number four much less to say on this one this is an a grade for me very easy just plugs right into that offense the the I mean we obviously know how great Marvin Harrison Jr is he's in my opinion the best wide receiver Prospect in the seven years that I've been evaluating prospects on this channel Channel um he's the best one he is a true generational Prospect and I'm just very happy for the Cardinals for Kyler Murray for Cardinals fans that the Cardinals sticked with this pick and made it there was a lot of talk of them trading down and oh you got to collect draft capital and you know fill in all the needs on this team and it's like well they did that last year they did come back up for a guy they liked but at someday at some point you got to just take the blue chip players that are there available to you and I'm very happy that they did that yes you need to fill out depth and have other issues on this team that's why they have other picks throughout the draft um but at the end of the day uh Superstar Talent just isn't available to you all the time so I'm a big fan of this pick we're going to go a for the Cardinals uh as I am with the Chargers on Joe Al Another Blue Chip player in this draft I had five blue Chippers in this draft which is more than I usually have but Caleb Williams Marvin Harrison Joe alt Malik neighbor and uh Brock Bowers were all in my opinion Blue Chip prospects the type of pending Health pending an average surrounding situation this is an All Pro Caliber Talent um that's my qualifications for a blue chip player and I think with Joe Al that's what we're talking about uh with the offensive tackle here to the Chargers uh so again I'm going with an A on this pick just staying put taking a player that I I'm not going to say it was like some certified steel or anything it made sense that joal was there at five right I have seen Chargers fans really complain about this pick I even saw a fan on Twitter not saying this speaks for all of you Chargers fans but I saw a fan on Twitter saying comparing this to when the Packers took Jordan love in terms of not helping your Young quarterback or your your Star Quarterback rather um and I'm like hold up how is giving Justin Herbert an elite tackle Duo for 10 years not helping the quarterback um my thinking on this and I understand Malik neighbors is absolutely incredible and I I do think a better overall Prospect than Joe Walt I understand being disappointed that you didn't take Malik neighbors I think they could have gone in either direction here but if Justin Herbert is the quarterback that you're paying him to be and this top five quarterback that everybody talks about you expect especially in a deep wide receiver class that you can take guys on round two and round three that Herbert will Elevate in Star players how many day two wide receivers in the league do we talk about as highlevel wide receivers I mean you just went through a decade of Keenan Allen uh in in in La so you don't have to leave this team to see a good example of that but there just are not really those examples of elite tackles coming from day two day three they're out there but it is much more few and far between I I think of with the Detroit Lions um you know when they took the left tackle in pen Su put him at right tackle and gave Jared Goff this Elite tackle Duo I think that's a supercharged version of this with the Chargers and and it's Herbert who doesn't really like to run around and make plays out of the pocket he he can do that but he much prefers to hang in the pocket and make those incredible throws down the field he's gonna have a lot more time to do that with Joe Al on the right side than Trey pipkins he just is so I am a fan of this pick I understand some Chargers fans wanted Malik neighbors but to complain about this pick is pretty wild to me I think they um they had a variety of good options they could have gone this route they could have got neighbors they could have traded down gotten a couple picks all would have been good routes at least she didn't stay here and take JC leam right like there was rumors about so um fantastic pick for the Chargers in my opinion I'm going with an a grade and then for for Malik neighbors not going to be a surprise we're going in a Grade here not a bad word to say about this pick um he is the highest graded wide receiver I've had since I've been doing this not named Marvin Harrison Jamar Chase is the other guy that was close but he missed the opportunity to receive as high of a grade as Malik neighbors did uh CU he didn't play in that final season it was the co year right so Jamar Chase is the other guy that maybe was a better Prospect than Malik neighbors but that's really the C of player we're talking about here and I in general agree with the Giants not going with one of these quarterbacks unless that guy was going to be Drake May for them because I just I don't look at the other four quarterback prospects and have a ton of confidence that those guys are definitely going to be better than Daniel Jones and I'm not this massive Daniel Jones apologist or anything I'm far from it um but I do think you you've never really given him a fair chance and I think to years ago when he earned that contract extension he was out there with an abysmal offensive unit and he played very well he played like a top 20 quarterback you now give him a leak Neighbors The Hope is that this will help Daniel Jones look down the field a little bit more even when he played well two years ago there was a lot of frustration where it's like dude you are just not really looking at even like a Darius Slayton who was getting open deep and Daniel Jones just wasn't throwing it to him so the hope is with the talent level of a Malik neighbors that he's going to look his way D's also going to do a phenomenal job setting neighbors up for run after catch and just peppering him with targets uh in the same way that they did with Stefon Diggs and buffalo there's a lot of um I would just they're they're different players but in terms of the caliber of player and the ways you can use that guy there's a lot of similarities with Malik neighbors so I'd be excited if I was a Giants fan going to give this one an a as well but not not going to be quite as complimentary as we get to the Titans pick here I told myself I would stay away from plus and minus grades but with this one I really need to go with a D+ um cuz a d does sound a little too harsh um but I am going to be harsh on this one man I really can't get behind this pick for the Titans now the first thing Titans fans are going to say is I trust Bill kahan's eye for offensive line more than some freaking YouTuber and fair play right like I get it I'm a huge believer in Bill Callahan myself and when I see him liking JC leam I'm questioning the film that I watched but it is also my job to watch the film and have my opinions and my opinion is that JC leam was the sixth best offensive tackle Prospect in this draft I had him as a late first early second round type of guy I am genuinely Cur uh genuinely worried about his change of Direction ability and ability to cut off Inside Moves where I think NFL pass rushers are going to be able to take advantage of him and I don't know that that's something that an offensive line coach can really correct I think it's a physical deficiency you know he didn't test for a reason in my opinion I don't think he would have tested well I don't think he's a good athlete like pretty much all the other first round tackles in this draft um I also was underwhelmed by his run blocking tape I didn't see that that aggressive demeanor what I like to write in my outing notes is that [ __ ] mentality he's big he's technically sound he's a solid run blocker but I didn't see him at 340 PBS just mauling dudes kicking ass snap after snap like I wanted to see from him like I did see with a fuaga like I did see with an amarius Mims So based on the tape I watched even just taking him at seven here is a reach in my opinion one that I would not endorse now again Bill Callahan has forgotten more about offensive line play then I'll ever know so if you want to take his word for it and you want to trust this pick that's totally fair game and you want to slam me in the comments for it go for it I cannot blame you for that thinking I'm just telling you what I saw with JC leam and I'm worried about this pick let alone the fact that there are reports that the Raiders wanted to come up for Michael penck the Seahawks I believe was the other team team wanted to come up for Michael penck I think teams would have wanted to come up for romad dun to not move down and be so stuck on JC leam at 7 when you are loaded with needs on this offensive line um or or just on this team in general but also still on the offensive line they need another tackle as well um I really do not like this process for the Titans so I'm going to go with a D+ on this one and the only reason that is a by is not a d by the way is that I do trust Bill Callahan um and his eye for offensive line Talent who he really like JC leam but I still got to have a lot of push back on that one and then we get to the penx pick at eight this was the one everybody's talking about right I I all throughout the draft stream we got a lot of comments people wondering about the Michael pennick pick and as I'm live reacting to everything all the bullets are flying I could not really process this pick it was just so out of left field even even though if anybody should have seen the Falcons taking a quarterback coming it should have been myself and viewers of this channel because we had former Falcons GM on last week uh Thomas demitro and great call by Thomas to say hey the Falcons should probably be thinking about a quarterback you don't know how long Kirk Cousins is going to be here and here we go they they stay at eight and take not JJ McCarthy but Michael pennick so very surprising pick I'm going to play this one down the Fairway and go with a c I actually don't entirely hate this for the Falcons though there is a lot of aspects to this that I don't like um so let's just say the stuff I like about it first and then I'll say the stuff I don't like about it things I like about it K cousins granted if you were worried about this why'd you sign him in the first place and that's one of the negative notes on this but now that he is your quarterback he is 36 years old coming off an Achilles injury the the concept of drafting a quarterback to sit behind Kirk for two years so that you just don't you you have that peace of mind if Kirk goes down but you have that peace of mind for the future in terms of who your guy is I understand that thought process I think people will also be critical of oh why Michael penck over JJ McCarthy and Bo Knicks I had those guys all tiered together as kind of mid first late first um you know solid options in the first round I'm not really going to nitpick them in this situation for choosing penx as their guy over bonck or McCarthy I did have McCarthy and bonck ranked higher but it was by a slim margin all kind of in a tier together with J with j Daniels in my opinion um now that's just my evaluations we we'll see how that ages but um it's not like it's not like I'm slamming that them like I did for Washington for taking Jaden Daniels over Drake may I see what they like in pennx and and um why he was their quarterback at 8 and I think with what the Falcons went through last year with Desmond Ritter and heiki it's like we just we just really don't want to go through that again please like they have all of these pieces offensively they are so set up for Success what if Kurt Cousins isn't who we think he is so those are the positives um you got to get the quarterback position right you just do so this there are actually sides to this pick that I will sit here and defend a little bit but man like dude you did sign the 36-year-old quarterback you did hire a defensive head coach which in general is more of a shorter term play because I like that they got Zack Robinson as the offensive coordinator but as you project two three years down the road if they have success he's gone that's the pain of hiring a defensive coach ask the people in Buffalo or just remember what happened when you had Kyle Shanahan and he left and things went downhill so I really looked at the Falcons pairing the defensive coach hiring and an older owner the KK cousins signing all together with like we're going for this this window that we have playing in the worst division in football for the next two to three years and you take your number eight pick your best opportunity to improve the defense now after you loaded up on offense and spend it on a quarterback and a quarterback that I know we just praised him but this is isn't taking Jordan love if you're the Packers this isn't the 21-year-old Uber talented uh kind of project quarterback this is a 24-year-old quarterback that I think was Pro ready but doesn't really have the high-end like playmaking instincts and incredible upside that I felt like Jordan love did coming out not to mention this is the eighth pick compared to the 2 fourth pick right so those parallels don't fully work for me that's the process they're going with is the Jordan love process but it's a different type of quarterback it's a different caliber quarterback prospect and a much older one so in that situation if that's what you're looking for I I do wonder if JJ McCarthy might have made more sense so it's it's a wild one man I would be pretty pretty pissed if I was a falcon fan because I you know I would have been pretty sold on the idea that this is going to be a very competitive fun two years this could have been a latu latu a quinan Mitchell it could have been a trade down to fill out even more needs um but you took a guy that in all likelihood is going to be sitting for two years and then you're talking about a a solid quarterback prospect coming in in a couple years but not a great one I I do believe in the the sit and develop and have to work for it process though being something that can work for a guy and I would not be surprised if Michael penx is a very good Kurt Cousins replacement down the road so again I've got bad things to say about it I've got good things to say about it there's sides I understand there's sides where I'm really spiraling trying to explain this pick so um we're going to go with the c for those reasons and I think that's about as positive as anybody's going to spin this pick out there all right Bears getting Roman dun at 9 I mean this is an a pick for the Bears and so many reasons this makes sense I think we all knew if if Rome was going to be there at nine which the Falcons really I I felt like held the keys to O Odun getting to the Bears um and obviously they went the direction they did so you plug in Rome as wide receiver 3 immediately but he is Keenan Allen like for the most part his skill set is extremely similar to Keenan Allen in terms of the size I would say the athletic profile where he's just he's not this unbelievable athlete he's a very good athlete but he's not like burning past NFL Corners he's going to win with with the cerebral ability the route running the um the physicality at the catch Point um just a very very high-end wide receiver Prospect and uh I mean talk about giving your Young quarterback everything he needs to succeed uh if I'm waking up a Bears fan this morning it's like God this could not have gone any better over the last 6 months um unless you're still one of those crazy Justin Fields truthers I hope you see the vision now if you were one of those guys in January saying we can't take a guy that paints his nails over Justin Fields who's now a backup in Pittsburgh but uh yeah this is an a pick for the Bears made just way too much sense and Keenan Allen 32 years old not going to be there after a year anyway so it's it's probably more of a long-term investment in in the Weaponry in Caleb Williams than it is a short-term investment but it's certainly doesn't hurt to have romad dun out there with Keenan Allen and DJ Moore um then we got the Vikings at number 10 and I'm gonna say it I think the Vikings had the best night in terms of expectations I think they really finessed this draft where you got to go back to the trade with the Texans where the report is the Texans actually came to the Vikings and I love their approach internally and I certainly felt like you know I didn't necessarily buy the idea that the Texans came to them but I think after we've seen that play out that definitely seems true um because the Vikings use that as flexibility to really navigate the draft and kill the draft I felt like and I was a little bit C like worried about okay they're going to spend basically in this case a first and and three seconds uh when you put all of it together to get that Texon pick to and and another pick on top of that probably to go and get JJ McCarthy and really go kind of balls to the wall to make this their guy um so somewhat equivalent to what the 49ers did uh to go get Trey Lance and I was like I I understand why you like JJ McCarthy he'll probably work out because the Vikings have an incredible opportunity for a Young quarterback to step in with weapons coaching o line so like I understood like the importance of the quarterback position and if he's your guy you go do that but it it based on my eval and McCarthy again I have him closer to Nicks and and penck that would have been a lot to go up and really really you know sink in on this has to be our guy for him to essentially fall to you at 11 you know they give up a mid- round pick to move up a spot but for all intents and purposes they stayed put um but I do like the fact that they jumped up when he was there at 10 just to secure uh him ahead ofy teams like Denver and the Raiders so I think that was a nice little subtle move to do just to make sure you get your guy but again for the most part they stayed put and got their guy at 10 really hard to argue with that and because you aren't giving up all this excess capital for him he is a bit of a riskier quarterback in the sense that smaller sample size young player still a lot to prove if he is a flop and we know quarterbacks bust 50% of the time even in great situations like this if he is a bust and I think it's in the realm of possibilities for JJ McCarthy that he just isn't that good that he can't he can't go from the game manager he was at Michigan to being franchise quarterback in the NFL it's not the end of the world if you're Minnesota you know it's it's okay brush it off we've got our picks still let's go for the next guy um whereas if you made all of those moves and you traded up not only do you not have the picks but there's a perception that you have to you know really kind of give that guy the extra year basically is what what it would come down to if you spend the top five pick on him if you trade up and and do all that so I I think it just it it lessens the expectations you still get your guy and um it also doesn't force him to start right away I think you know I I actually do think Sam darnold's going to be somewhat successful in Minnesota because it's such a quarterback friendly environment and I don't think McCarthy sitting even for a whole year is a bad thing for him him and having to prove that he's a better quarterback than Sam darnold I think the competition there is great so I and I know people are going to laugh at that cuz it's Sam darnold but there's something about him in Minnesota that I I'm giving him a chance to kind of have that Baker Mayfield type of uh you know emergence but love what Minnesota did here and then I love what they did at 17 as well which we'll talk about but um I'm going to go with an a for the Minnesota Vikings on JJ McCarthy uh then for Olu fashanu at 11 for the Jets really hard to argue with this pick I'm going to give this a as well Olu fanu was my ninth ranked player um it was between him and Brock Bowers I think when you really let this thing breathe and I got excited as much excited for the idea of Brock Bowers with the Jets as anybody but when you really let this breathe um you understand okay they made their risks in free agency they go and get a Tyron Smith and a Mike Williams the injury-prone guys um get your floor on the offensive line because you have Aaron Rogers 40 years old coming off the Achilles and Tyron Smith misses games ask any Cowboys fan uh he could go down for the year at any moment um he could miss six games at some point in this season you're not going to have Tyron Smith available for you or Morgan Moses an older right tackle who's missed games at some point in the season you will have games where you're going in you're you're getting throughout the week and you're like crap Morgan Moses isn't playing this week or crap uh uh uh Tyron Smith isn't playing this week thank God we got Olu fashanu to step right in who is an incredibly High floor pass protecting offensive tackle I think he's he's every bit worth the pick and makes a ton of sense and then he's also an investment in the future as well there's no guarantee that the Jets win a Super Bowl with Aaron Rogers this year right there's no guarantee Aaron Rogers is there next year Tyron Smith could retire when Aaron Rogers leaves where ever this regime goes in the future Tyrant uh uh Olu fashanu can be a big part of that so I and not the Brock Bowers wouldn't have been but I really can't argue with the Olu pick here at 11 um then we got the Broncos taking bonck this to me is a solid B pick not going to sit here and be like oh my God this was some incredible steel or Great Value but I do think this makes sense for where the Broncos are at so much so that I think I think every single mock draft I did I throughout this draft process I had the Broncos taking bonck um just because he does seem like the the scheme fit for Shawn pyton where as opposed to what Russell Wilson was doing B knck is really good at taking those first reads when there is well schemed offense B Knicks is going to take advantage of it and then he will improvise on top of that I really broke this down in the dream um like in depth so if you want more on it the one of you amazing viewers in fact I'm going to take a second to figure out the username here because one of you commented the timestamps from the live stream on every single pick reaction which is absolutely incredible if you're out there try and ping me and I want to give you a I want to give you a gift card or something cuz that was amazing work to do that it was tracon McGrady so so shout out to trayon um come find me got to got to reward you for your your hard work uh same applies to anybody crazy enough to do that for day two or day three I got you but to sum up what I was talking about on the stream was there's a lot of Brock pie a lot of Jaylen Herz that I see in bonick where he'll take what's there play on time you know make the most of a good situation and then very quickly we'll pivot to playmaking playmaking mode you know scram drill great instincts uh going back to kind of who he was at Auburn he's built a very logical thought process at quarterback that maybe isn't the highest floor player where you know he's going to bounce around the pocket and find third or fourth reads and make these unbelievable like tight window throws in the pocket or anything like that but he's he's a very solid quarterback I think can be a top 15 to 20 guy for Denver so just stay put and take that well it's a solid B pick for me could they have gone with the Brock Bowers and you know swung for the higher upside guy and and you know kind of had a a tank year or rebuild year if you're being realistic about the situation that that might have been the the higher upside play longterm where you're where you're in the AFC and you've got basically all of the elite quarterbacks in the NFL are in that conference and kind of got to get one of those guys to truly have year-to-year Super Bowl window consistency um that would be the knock on bonck is this is not the flashiest most most exciting pick but the reality is with Shawn Payton as your quarterback that's just not going to be his approach I you know tanking and and getting you know doing that type of thing like he wants to get his guy he wants to win right now he doesn't want to mess around so it's a b pick for me I'm probably higher on it than a lot of people I like bonx I think he's solid all right Raiders at 13 Going Brock Bowers definitely was one of the surprising picks I don't think we've really pegged the Raiders as a brock Bowers team but as I mentioned at the top of the show Blue Chip Prospect one of the five best players in this draft and there's going to be a lot of people that say oh they don't believe in Michael Mayer or rip Michael Mayer no no no no no those two guys will play I I would bet both of those players will play at least 75% of the snaps if not 80% of the time th those guys will be on the field together I would say at least three out of four plays if not four out of five because number one I think the Raiders have made it very clear they want this kind of old school run the ball type of offense 12 Personnel um zamir White's looking good he's beefed up looks like Zeus out there um but that's that's what they want to do that's the kind of mentality they've established there so they want heavy Personnel so that alone I wouldn't be surprised if they're just out there with with two tight ends you know whether it's it's one by one or you know a flexed Wing formation you can put Brock Bowers as a fullback as a strong eye as a weak eye you can do all sorts of thing with Brock Bowers hell you can put him at running back if you want you can use them as a wildcat quarterback if you want there's so many situations where Michael Mayer will be out there with Brock Bowers but when they're not in 12 Personnel though it will still be viewed as 12 Personnel because he is listed as a tight end he will be their slot wide receiver because that is also what Brock Bowers can do he is an incredible route Runner he just destroys slot corners and safeties on two-way goes you know get this guy in a Crossing route um you know get the ball in his hands on a bubble screen there's just so many so many ways to use Brock Bowers this does not mean Michael Mayer is just a wasted pick last year far from it you have created a headache of a of a formation problem because you don't know how they're going to come out they'll get in the Huddle and you're going to be like okay are they going to come out and pound this down our throats is this going to be a strong eye is this going to be you know two two heavy tight ends on the line or are we flexing this out going empty you know they they really have a lot of flexibility here and I think it makes a ton of sense now I'm curious to see what they go with um for offense for right tackle I'm curious if they can find a guy like I would love Blake fiser for them in the second round if they can land that uh would be a slam dunk but um I'm going to go a for the Raiders here I think people get a little bit stuck in in like oh okay he's the tight end ahead of Michael Mayer wasted pick like no no no no no this is so much much deeper than that then we got the Saints toise fuaga this one's tough cuz like I don't really have anything bad to say about this pick but it doesn't quite feel like an a to me I think he's a very solid player like I don't think he's like a great pass protector and I think for Derek Carr that's really important so like I personally would have gone with like um fanu I just think he's he's would have been a better player for what they need also if there's any chance Ryan Ram can ever get back fanu is more of a left tackle or right tackle whereas fuaga is just a right tackle but a b also feels harsh so this is a situation where like I feel like I need to go like B+ on it cuz it's a very solid pick right it feels a big need he's a very good football player and I just I don't have a lot of bad things to say about it they had to make a tackle pick we all kind of knew that but I also like I don't know that this guy is going to be like some Superstar tackle for the Saints either um very incredible run blocker I think he's going to be an average pass blocking tackle I probably would have got with a different player but and and I like Mims better as well so I guess I I do have some slight dings on it but it's a it's a fine pick it's a solid pick you're not going to cry about it if you're a Saints fan okay lot to at 15 I love this pick for the Colts man and and this was kind of a ring thebell moment for me on stream with latu being the number one edge off the board I think that became a little bit more of a consensus opinion as we approached the draft but two months ago I did that in my Edge video and had Dallas Turner falling to the late teens in my mock drafts and people are like wow you hate Dallas Turner I'm like no I just think latu is the first guy off the board if I'm drafting and it was really cool to see that the the Finesse the Polish the the that he brings to the Colts pass rush it's just so hard to argue with that at 15 I'm going to go with an a pick for the Colts here um but it's not just the floor I think he's a higher ceiling player than we talk about you know the the injury discussion was was tough for us Outsiders because we don't really know what's going on there but I it does feel like with it being a neck issue that was two years ago that since has not kept him off the football field it seems to be entirely in his past he hasn't he missed a game since so if that's not an issue there's no reason he shouldn't be Edge one in this draft um because I think his ceiling is close enough to Dallas Turner and unlike Dallas Turner you don't have to wait two or three years to get that ceiling out of liou latu he's going to be their best Edge rusher right away all of a sudden Samson aukum and um quiddy pay become secondary pass rushers which I think is their rightful place on the dep chart uh I I I I I can't run out of good good enough things to say about this pick um so we're going to go a for the Colts and likewise with the Seahawks getting Byron Murphy at 16 um you know I I do think they got to be really aggressive to get an interior offensive lineman on day two and I know they don't have a second round pick so that's the only thing that's like we'll see where this goes CU I think that's a really big concern for Gino in that o line is is the interior there but it it is hard to pass on Byron Murphy at 16 man um defensive tackle it's it's underrated by the public I think in terms of how thin this position group has been in these drafts over the last five years how hard it is to hit on a player at this position and how rare of an opportunity it is to draft a guy like Byron Murphy so I felt like he was going to be in play as a top 10 pick and the Seattle obviously he was just too good of a player for them to pass up he's he's an excellent run Defender he's an excellent pass rusher his core strength his ability to win easy leverage at 61 300 lb his rip move is unblockable he really is I I think the best defensive tackle that that we've seen since the quinnon Williams at Oliver year so I'm a huge fan they had other needs but this was a true best player available pick and they'll find a way to get him out there with Draymond Jones and um Leonard Williams then we got the Vikings coming up for Dallas Turner I mean you got to go an A on this one as well now I don't think this is some certified steel or anything I certainly didn't think it was like crazy that Dallas Turner was here at 17 it actually happened in a lot of my mock draft experiments in a situation where latu was the first edge off the board he was my 14th overall player so you come up and get him at 17 it's it's excellent value and I think you you packaged this with the fact that you were able to keep this pick um and not use it to move up for JJ McCarthy and you feel even better about it again I I kind of praise the Vikings already but I think they they really couldn't have done a much much better job with their two picks than they did um so the the two picks together I think are a pick but they would get an S grade a purple colored colorcoded uh ranking for me I think they had the best night out of any team in the league in terms of how they navigated the draft and went about the process um then we got the Bengals at 18 I I mean I'll talk about it here but I would also say go check out the hit the time stamp on my reaction to them for the Bengals I think this was one of my better just kind of breakdowns for the night um I probably sound like an ask for saying this but I think I kind of cooked on the live stream there was a couple picks where like I kind of went off and I was like great nailed it live I I feel that way about the amarius Mims pick with the Bengals and I think they nailed it live with with this pick uh again I just I really recommend you just hit the time stamp on that stream broke down why you know Joe burrow can have so much success with these big tackles why these guys fit their scheme not just in pass protection but in run run blocking this is what the Bengals do they draft for future needs and um you know Shore up these premium positions in the draft I'm a huge fan of amarius Mims he was my number three tackle so you know would have been the guy picked for the Saints at 14 so I think they're getting a little bit of a value there I would not be surprised if amarius Mims hits as like a Tristan werfs type of pick here for the Bengals and you got to remember werfs was the he was the fourth tackle taken in his draft right um and he he ended up arguably the best one uh Andrew Thomas finally came along after a rough rookie year but I I would not be surprised if amarius if they just drafted an allp Pro right tackle uh in a couple years in am marus Mims and he's going to get some playing time in year one I think he's too big to play guard for them um but I think it's a good situation to sit and learn from a pair of massive offensive linemen like him like Orlando and Trent Brown as mentors um and then we'll be ready to step in in year two and Mims doesn't have a lot of time on task playing The Tackle position that was the big knock on him at Georgia so I think that time to develop is really good for him I just there's 's a lot of stuff I really like about this pick so I'm going to go I'm going to go a just cuz I I don't think this was an S like a certified steel I want to reserve those for like those holy crap how did they get this player type of picks um but I don't have a bad word to say about the Bengals taking am Marius Mims Jared vers to the Rams at 19 very self-explanatory pick you lose Aaron Donald who has been elevating this pass rush for a decade I think you can expect that that passw is going to take a massive drop off you finally have a first round pick for the first time since Jared gof and you use it to invest in the D line where the majority of starting like true starting pass rushers in the league come from the first round it's it's a very straightforward pick here I'm going to go with an a because I think I think he was their best option um with Byron Murphy and latu and Turner gone and I'm not going to really nitpick them where verse was like I think 25th on my big board they take them a little early at 19 but it's not like I would consider this a reach for verse at 19 it's about the top of the range for where I would consider him but uh makes a ton of sense going to go a for the Rams then we got the Steelers at 20 Troy fanu going to be an a pick for me as well I I really like how he and Mims I think those those two guys went to Ideal Landing spots for their skill sets the scheme fits situations where they're going to work out and for fanu you go to a one of the if not the most wide Zone blocking heavy systems in the league with Arthur Smith coming in I think for the Steelers to look at Dan Moore who's been okay in a head-up blocking scheme over the years I understand them looking at him and be like yeah he's not going to be able to reach block and get on the move and be the wide Zone blocker that we need in this offense Troy fanu can and I think for fanu it's actually the opposite I didn't love him going to a you know a gap man inside Zone style scheme I want him moving horizontally um to use his athleticism as a run blocker so I think if the weakness on fanu was run blocking that is neutralized by the system that he just went to and as a pass protector I I literally don't have a bad thing to say about fatano I think he's exceptional I think the fact that he's going to be a t is is great news I just was not a fan of the moving him to guard talk I think he's a tackle I I I'm very happy that the Steelers recognize that and um he is definitely a value at 20 okay Miami Dolphins at 21 chop Robinson I'll go B on this because they obviously have more information about those Edge rushers in their injuries than we do it definitely is like you have to kind of you know take your medicine on this one and and just swallow the bad news a little bit if you're a dolphins fan that like crap like those two Edge rushers that we have invested so much in you know first round pick and a big contract on Bradley chub a first round pick and a potential pending contract on Jaylen Phillips the Dolphins clearly are not confident in the status of that room so you take chop Robinson here which is like the absolute earliest I would have thought about him I had a late first early second round grade on him so you get outside the top 20 you can see him going in that range and the other three Edge rushers had gone so it's it's tough to argue with him being the pick if they had to go edge he's a project though um and I think he's a a boomer boss type of prospect he doesn't have a lot of counter moves he doesn't Rush with a lot of power he's not a good run Defender there's a lot of work to do with him but he does bring that first step the bend around the edge he brings a trait that you can't coach I understand why the NFL was super high on him and we're just going to have to wait and see where this where this goes really I'm going to give it a B I think it's a fine pick but I'm certainly not like overly excited about it either and I also look at that interior offensive line and I'm like hello who who the hell is going to be playing inside the tackles for the for the Dolphins o line um and you had a guy like Graham Barton available uh who I think is going to be incredible so B for the Dolphins quinan Mitchell to the Eagles this is a certified steel top 10 player for me the biggest need for the Eagles to just stay put and get quinan Mitchell I'm not even going to really give you any more analysis other than it's yet another use of the he can't keep getting away with it meme with Howie Roseman um my my Pro Comp on him is Darius SLE and like I mean come on that's speaks for itself so unreal steel probably the TR the biggest true steel of the night uh being quinan Mitchell to the Eagles um I think the Jags isn't too far behind it getting Brian Thomas at 23 after you traded down I love this fit for them you know when they signed Gabe Davis it was like I agree they need a deep threat I agree they need to invest in a deep threat as they did with Gabe Davis you watch Trevor Lawrence and his spectacular arm trying to connect down the field with Calvin Ridley last year and it was he was just missing a little bit of extra something whether it was the speed to run under those balls or come down with the body control and the size to make those catches and you're just like you just need a little bit extra something with Trevor Lawrence's skill set they signed Gabe Davis and I'm like is that guy Gabe Davis I don't know I do think that guy is Brian Thomas it's a perfect fit with what they needed in that offense um I I don't you know the Gabe Davis contract is weird at this point cuz they did pay him but they didn't know Brian Thomas was going to fall to them um so I I can't really fault them for it there's going to but there is going to be some complicated usage stuff for them to figure out because you have to play Gabe Davis you can't just put him on the bench and these two guys literally do the same thing so in time Brian Thomas will beat that guy out but it might it might be a little bit more of a slow process with Brian Thomas um or it might not I mean he might just beat out Gabe Davis and they're like see you Gabe go back to Buffalo or whatever you got to do I don't know um but let's talk about the lions at 24 I mean terion Arnold to the Lions makes all the sense in the world he fits their style entirely super physical manto man Corner a quick reactions guy excellent ball skills I totally understand where the lions were like um terion Arnold you're our guy if you're if you're within Striking Distance we got to come up and get you and that's that's the Lions mentality right with the draft like they beat to their own drum they're going to be aggressive they're going to have confidence in their evaluations that their guys are the ones you want to move up for or whatever um it's they come from that Saints regime where they had that same mentality so this was not a surprise at all definitely feels a need is's he's an awesome pick and good value for them at this point I go back and forth between like a a minus and a B+ only because they did give up a top 75 pick to go get them it was a a heavy price that they paid um to go to go get their player and as I said on the NFL Stock Exchange podcast like I like ter Arnold terion Arnold I don't love terion Arnold I do think the 4540 that he ran is the reason he was available at 24 um it is ironic that when I broke terion darnold uh terion Arnold down in my cornerback rankings I was saying like slight Jeff Auda Vibes on him uh you have the Lions uh coming up for that player I'm not saying he's going to be Jeff Auda um but speed does really matter at this position so those are the DS but I totally understand why he was their guy he was the 18th player on my board um so like I'm going to go I'm I'm going to eventually land on an A minus here for for retroit getting Arnold at 24 then the Packers going Jordan Morgan very predictable Brian gun Packers pick going with the versatile kind of high floor offensive lineman here this is a b pick for me I I don't think it's a slam dunk steel I do think it's a better pick than I think some people are making it out to be I really do I I think if if Morgan didn't go at 25 I think Kansas City I think Dallas Baltimore San Fran all would have been all over Jordan Morgan he was my best tackle Prospect ECT available at this point and I do think for the Packers you know the the guy I do think is a better player as Graham Barton but if you are the Packers not only do you always love these positionally flexible players that's like literally been their style they've had Decades of success with that strategy so you understand why you take a guy like Jordan Morgan who can be a tackle but could easily slide into guard with his size um little bit shorter arm length I even compared him to Zack Tom um a little bit so you understand why they like him but I I do think the reason they go with him over Graham Barton is because I think even though we praised grah Barton for the the potential to play center in that positional flexibility I don't know if I loved grah Barton as a tackle he didn't have the movement skills of a Jordan Morgan and if you're the Packers they have a huge need at Right Guard right now but they also have a left tackle who is a a third year seventh round pick in Rasheed Walker who played great last year but it is is that going to sustain so the the flexibility that they bought themselves makes a ton of sense I don't think Jordan Morgan's ever going to be a even a pro bowl caliber player maybe he surprises Green Bay has a magical eye for the offensive line position um but I do think he's a either a capable starting right guard for them or is a capable starting left tackle very hard to argue with that at 25 and I think it's a much better pick than going with like a Tyler gon or maybe a Kingsley sua like a true project type the Packers are trying to go for it this year and I do think this feels a massive need on a critical position for them so I'm going to go B for Jordan Morgan to Green Bay but I am going to go with an a for the bucks on Graham Barton and this is close to being a certified steel grah Barton was I want to say the 16th player on my big board uh 15th on my big board you know what I'm going to go for it on this one I'm going to say this is a c ified steal for the Tampa Bay Bucks and this is going to end up being one of the better players in the draft um got to have some takes in this video right I I think he's phenomenal and I think you look at the Bucks I even overlooked how big of a need the interior offensive line was I I apologize um for the the Bucks fans out there who have watched my mock drafts um once they made this pick and I looked at the depth chart I'm like oh yeah that that does make a lot of sense their left guard is Ben breson right now Robert hany is their Center who's adequate but fine and on the last year of his deal Cody moach did not play well last year so like they really needed uh iol and they got iol one in this draft at pick 26 phenomenal athlete can play any of those three positions we just described totally fits what they're looking for there's a he's like an athletic Ryan Jensen because he's got that same the play strength but that mauling [ __ ] mentality that they loved in Ryan Jensen um I I'm a huge fan of Graham Barton wouldn't be surprised they they announced him as a center uh I do think that's interesting because I think hany is probably the best of their three on the interior of the o line um but besides that like I think he could be a top three to five Center in the NFL within his within his rookie contract so I am going to go for it on this pick for the bucks and say certified steel uh for them not so much on the Darius Robinson pick with the Cardinals now there was a run on edge and you know that's going to push a guy like Darius Robinson up the board a little bit I still think this was a reach I I I thought he was a day a second round caliber Prospect now you're at the end of the first round you're not going to sit here and cry about it I think he's going to be a very useful player I think his best case scenario is Leonard Williams where he's a you know a good complimentary starter like uh you know a n a a a 2.5 on your dline is really what Leonard Williams is I think there's a world where Darius Robinson can be that um NFL Network announced him as a edge uh ESPN announced him as an interior D lineman a d tackle in this system I do see him as very much a Leonard Williams type of player where he will play some five tech in certain formations for them but when they get to third down to pass rush Downs he's going to be a three Tech um and I think that's fine he had most of his pass rushing success against tackles but he can definitely slide inside and use that um you know use that signature swim move of his he's a very solid player he's just he's not a sensational athlete he does get that tweener tag so it's going to be tough for him to be a superstar ultimately I think this is like a C+ pick for them would have been more of a c if like the other four Edge rushers weren't off the board my main criticism of this pick is I I just think Johnny Newton from Illinois is a much better football player than Darius Robinson we'll see how that ages but I think it would have been you know you could have taken Johnny Newton he would have been the best pass rusher in that building you take Darius Robinson and he's like in the mix with that group so it it's just not the most exciting pick for the Cardinals I get why they made it he'll be a useful player I don't think he's going to be a bust but uh yeah then we got the Chiefs trading up with the bills by the way and and the bills won't be receiving a grade here tonight I I I I don't really get what the bills are doing now they could just take Adonai Mitchell at 33 and we're and we're totally fine here we'll see what they do at the top of the draft but they trade down with the Chiefs give them Xavier worthy it's like do we not understand the program here you're trying to beat the Chiefs stop helping the Chiefs on draft day Buffalo you keep doing it um but for Kansas City I mean I laughed when they made this pick it's a good pick it's not like a certified steel or I'm not even fully convinced Xavier Worthy is like an absolute Camp Miss receiver even for the Chiefs but I mean that speed on the Chiefs we've literally seen this before you know time and time again there is immense potential for him now he doesn't play as fast as Tyreek Hill he probably plays much closer to like me Cole Hardman like I think he's closer to meet Cole Hardman as a prospect than he is to you know what Tyreek Hill was so I'm not going to like just bounce around and be like oh my God he's going to be Tyreek Hill it could be potentially but I that definitely feels like a very high-end uh side of the spectrum here I think Maris Brown as well is is a very good projection for Xavier worthy so they signed Maris Brown to a one-year deal I was saying on stream like I think Maris Brown's going to have a monster season so the way I see this is Worthy's going to be in the mix he will he will be out there he will get his deep targets he's probably going to have a few games like he's a good best ball pick cuz he's going to have a few games where he has two catches for 160 yards and two touchdowns but he's going to have a lot of weeks where he's literally just not getting any catches and targets um he just is cuz him and Maris Brown have a very redundant skill set as that speedster and that burner and that undersized receiver um and I think Mars Brown's goingon to have a monster season if that happens I think the Chiefs will happily let him go get a third round comp pick back for him when someone pays him Buu bucks and then Xavier Worthy is primed to take that role so it's it's almost like a little bit of a Bengals pick where it's like okay he'll be fine now he'll be a useful player now but this is more of a 2025 Chiefs pick Maybe I'm Wrong maybe he's just some absolute Superstar and he is Tyreek Hill right out the gate I I didn't see that from him at Texas um you know I knew he was fast again I don't think 421 speed shows when the pads come on necessarily he is very fast but it's not quite like oh my God this is the fastest receiver ever so as far as the grade goes I I I I think a like I don't I don't really have any dings on it there's not like oh I would have drafted this guy instead or this was a reach it's a position of value so I think I go a it's just like when the chiefs made this pick that's all I saw on Twitter was like how big of a mega Superstar Xavier Worthy is going to be and I'm like all right let's let's pump the brakes a little bit like we like to gas up the Chiefs I get it but um it it's not like it's not like they stole quinan Mitchell at 22 or something like that right so um Dallas Cowboys at 29 take Tyler gon this was every you know I tweeted out the day before the draft who do you not want your team to draft for my Packers it was Tyler gon for a lot of Cowboys fans it was Tyler gon you're taking a project right tackle um a fourth year player not a not a junior took him a while to kind of get to this point he's still not ready I just I'm not a Tyler gon believer call it a gut feeling the what the thing I said on stream and I'll reiterate here real quick is it's not like Kingsley sua as a project where you watch him and it's like clearly he just hasn't received the coaching he's a true Junior hasn't received the coaching he's his technique is just every snap looks like they just threw a big guy on the field and say hey go block that guy Tyler gon it's a little frustrating because there's snaps where you can see he's got the right pad level the the proper hand strikes the right techniques so he's getting that coaching but then he'll just revert out of it immediately the next play and it's high pad level you know wide strikes um and to me it's like okay you're a fourth year player it took a while to click still not there are you just an inconsistent player that doesn't fully get it I don't know I'm really low on him I had him as like a mid-range second round Prospect you because of the traits I I said the same thing about Tyler Smith though I did and he's a phenomenal guard and I like that they're going to keep Tyler Smith at guard by making this pick so I can't truly destroy the pick but I'm going to go C+ on this one for for Dallas okay uh Baltimore taking Nate Wiggins at 30 I think I made this pick in my L my last mock draft as a great pick for the Ravens so I I love this this is an a for me um you know Baltimore is not afraid of the injury-prone guys most recently David ojabo but they signed Odell Beckham there's a there's a list of injury-prone players that the Ravens have gambled on they did it as well with um the the guard out of USC last year and that's the knock on Nate Wiggins he's a slender player that got banged out up throughout the year he he couldn't get through his workout at the combine uh he is he lacks durability that's the problem on him his tape and ability to cover as a corner is unquestioned I think he's the best coverage player in the draft I do I think his ability to move with 4-3 speed is Sensational like I watched his tape and I was blown away by his oily hips and the Transitions and how Snappy he was in coverage and then I saw the 42840 I was like he moves like that and he's fast it's pretty freaking crazy uh he also is physical he gets in your face he blows up screens he likes to tackle he's just is Slender so some of the play strength is lacking there but I a huge fan of his tape if he didn't have durability concerns he might have been my number one corner over quinan Mitchell so I like the pick for the Ravens it's just like can he stay healthy that's really what this is going to come down to for him so I'm going to go a for it and then the ners taking Ricky peera at 31 this one was definitely a fascinating pick but I'm not going to say it's a surprising pick my where my mind immediately went with this is okay that's their Brandon iuk replacement if you showed me all the wide receivers available and said who is the skill set closest to Brandon auk I think if you were projecting Adonai Mitchell to hit his ceiling you would say Ad I Mitchell but he's a little bit more of a risk I think Ricky peol would have been my my selection there he's relatively similar in size he's a little bit more slender but he is physical he likes to run block wins tough catches but in terms of the movement skills the route running their speed and and length profil is very similar so this does scream to me from the front office that um traded away DeForest Buckner to draft Javon kinlaw obviously that didn't work out for them but they have shown like okay we will trade away the star that we can't pay and spend a first round pick on his replacement um it just everything lines up for at some point here iuk will be gone now do they just play this out and have iuk play the year and then let him walk or tag and trade or whatever or am I going to post this video and go on Twitter and see that they traded Brandon iuk to somebody in the second for for High second round pick wouldn't be surprised either I think the value is fine I really like Ricky peaw he was my 37th player in the draft so I'm not going to complain about them taking him at 31 uh again I think he fits their system and what they want to do I I think this is another one of those like B+ picks where I can't quite slap an A on it cuz I want I want those a graded picks to really stand out in the grades but I totally get what the what the ners are doing here and then this was one of my favorite moves of the night even though it so easily could have just happened at 33 but I I mean Carolina knew zavier Legette fit that Gabe Davis roll in the bills offense and they're like hey Buffalo you want to I move down to 33 wink wink you'll still get your guy right uh just kidding we're taking your guy um I love that side of it but I have consistently throughout the last couple of months really since they got Deontay Johnson pegged zav Legette as the Panthers guy so many reasons another pick where I highly recommend you go check out uh the time stamped reaction to my my analysis on this on the Fly um we went out with a bang raving about this pick for for the Panthers but you know I think getting that deep threat in there was the last missing piece you just don't know if Mingo can be that guy uh DJ CH obviously was not that guy last year um but as you watched the Panthers in really into the second half of the year it really felt like Bryce young I mean everything was so broken for him but he lost that part of him that was in there just a year ago at Alabama where he was a Head Hunter he was willing to throw those alerts on those deep posts and throw balls down the sideline and Trust his guys deep down the field a really good deep ball thrower we saw none of that in Carolina and I think an overwhelming reason for that is obviously the players that he had weren't there to make those plays but he just stopped looking halfway through the year he was like I'm way too worried about the blitz coming if anybody's getting open underneath they've patched all the rest of that stuff up right the Deontay Johnson the old line the new coach like they're going to put him in a much more comfortable situation and now they have the guy that can take the top off the defense I just we criticized Carolina for hiring their general manager internally but I really don't think he could have done a better job this off season um helping out their investment last year so I'm going to go with an a um for for the Panthers because of the fit that this is in their offense the process to to jump up and get the guy that I I think Buffalo would have taken Xavier Legette we'll see who they go with tomorrow um but sneaky value on here as well you get that fifth year option I don't know if you've noticed but these receivers be getting that bag and you get another cheap year of control on Xavier Legette for jumping up as well so huge fan of that going to go a Legette was 33rd on my overall board um so to get him at 32 right right on the money so there we go that's basically a recap of the live stream but we'll be breaking this all down day two day three uh every single pick um so do come back join us live we'll get we'll get all the you know nice editing stuff um that I had prepared for last night's stream we'll make sure it's ready to go for uh the next two days of streaming and I can't wait to see you guys thank you for watching drop your comments down below where you agree where you disagree that's all we got we'll see you later peace
