Google Analytics API in Your Website [DEPRECATED]

hello one welcome to my video channel my name is Aldo today we're going to take a look for something interesting in this video tutorial I will show you how you can integrate Google Analytics in third-party website many website have a dashboard and inside of dashboard you have some stats of your website you can create some basic version of stats something like this which is not looking good which is nice way to say this is kind of sucks we're going to create some statistics based on Google Analytics something like this which is a nice way to show all your website stats and it's looking good most of the websites have a dashboard and the dashboard always have a first page I think they good idea to make a first page is to take and create the page of stats of your website stats because the website administrator cannot be always online and when he come and open the dashboard he can get a general information about his website online screen you can see the simple way how you can create the stats but in this video tutorial we're going to create something like this all of these that we got from Google Analytics and you can see and feel everything because the user interface it's more interesting you can see and the compare between last week and this week you can see the this top rouser circle and top countries all of these information is more friendly because we can touch it and we can see it which is an N simple way we cannot do this to create these statistics what you need to do is go to the docks google.com and you will get a google docs website and then inside this menu choose sheets and then you will transfer to the Google sheets and here I have already my one my file which is the example of this tutorial and now we need to create a new one so let's click here for the blank one and then you will get a new file it's kind of excel file here you can rename your file and then all the changes will save automatically then go to the add-ons and inside of and dawns you need to turn on as they said on so I believe that you need to go and do some kind of step number of steps and here you will get the add-ons which is you can manage it and we need a Google Analytics add-on then we need to create a new one and now Google will create for us this file in this dialog we need to fill number of fields with the information the first field is a name we need to give some name for our record which is we want to make it then we need to use the choose some account and then the property which is a website and then you need to choose a few witches for my case will be all data inside the matrix we need to choose a sessions because we want to take all information about users and users for us it's a station so we can compare the sessions we can get some information and here we need a date why did because we want to get some rapport between some dates then just click here for creating the report and that's it what we got here it's and Google Analytics report inside our spreadsheets file we can take this title and retitle for some realistic name which we want to be and get for example this week and last week what we need to do is create a new title and let's call it for this week in the next column we can use the last week and now we need to give some parameters first of all we not need a date range so we will delete this number with with the Delete key then we need to start it and end date for our report we cannot give a static date because we need always to get a correct date and of this week and end date so what we can do we can use the Excel function to get today date to create a dynamic date we need to go to the function input and then we need to type equals and today this function will give for us today date but we need to take the first day of this week so we use the weekday function and then today and then minus one to not get get the last week date now we need the correct and correct with first day so minus one and then we need to get today date which is the end date so we will use the today function that's it now we need to do the same thing for last week so what we can do it's take all of these columns and copy for this one here we will rename this for last week and now we need to get the last week date to make this happen what you need to do is take this correct tweek and then just - seven days so what we need to do and how we can do this it's very simple we're going to function input and then equals we will get take the b5 clone and then minus seven and now we have the last week date and it's correct that it will be updated every time that we need that we got a new date today with the end date it's the same we just take the b5 + : + n - 1 to not get the correct date of this week because this is a last week we all are done and now what we need to do is go to the add-ons option and then choose the Google Analytics and run reports what Google do now is create for us all our reports which we created before and we have two reports completed successfully which is a last week and this week and here we have a two tabs of this report and all of these informations came from the Google Analytics it's dynamics we not need always update the report but we almost done because we not have a song visualization so in the last tab what we need to do is create our visualization to make this happen we need to take all of the data from this week tab and let's we tab and transfer to the tab which is a sheet one we will give some titles here to our table which is the last week and this week and now we will create all our dates which is a Sunday to Saturday I can just take and drag this clone and then we need to go and take all informations from previous tabs which is this week all information from this week need to come to our visualization we have a column on b16 which is the first common of our data for this correct week so we will take the first and last tab and we can drug like we did before with the weekdays the deckle data from the previous step we need to go to the function input and type equals and between apostrophes we need to give the name of the tab and then we will give the first Clemen which is B 16 and how we can see it's a B 16 now we can take and drag down like we did before and it will be automatically created for all other days like you can see it's a B 22 same thing we need to do for the last week and again we're going to function input and type the last week between the apostrophes and again we will type B 16 but now we will get an arrow this arrow can be for a bit because we I typed something wrong so what I think what I can do just take this tab name and a copy to my function input that's it and again we will drag down and like you can see the previous Saturday I have as 0 users and visitor for my website and today it's a Friday so I not got the information for this Saturday week now we got all information from previous steps and now we want to create some visualization for our website something like this for our visual attacks we need to select all of this information click for this button in the chart and now we need to choose some diagram what we wanted and pants what you want I love this graph so I will choose this graph and then insert the graph to my document now we have this graph and we can rename this graph we can choose the color we can replace everything that you want and remember what you did what you do here in this file you will got inside of your website so if you want to build or normal phones you need to change it here for example I don't like this red line and what I need to do is just hit this line and choose the new color which is can be a gray and I will get the gray line inside of my website and we done the last thing what we need to do is go to this arrow and publish this chart to our website when you click the publish shot you will get this dialog and go to the embed tab and we want to interact you will not want to static an image and just click publish and you will get an arrow which is asking for your permission if you want to publish it or not I want to so I will hit OK and then take this iframe HTML code and go to your website and you can face whatever you want inside of this of your file and on your website and just save and for example I have a black web site here and let's refresh this page and that's it I have a Google Analytics statistics inside of my website and that is it's very easy we can repeat it for any stats that we want for example we want to get a true brother of users and so what you need to do is just go to the report configuration tab and create a new column and with all this information we can just take and copy it from the last week alone and give the new name the Trop browsers and through browsers and we don't need a date so what we need to do is just delete all these dates but we need the debt days range so inside lesson days we need to click and put the number of the days which we want to get the range between them for example I need a 30 days 30 last days for my web site users in the metrics input I will leave these sessions because I want to get all information about users and top browsers from users but in dimensions I need to change it for browsers because I don't want to get as date I need the browsers so I need to change it for GA and browser and that's it it's very very easy and now I need to sort all these information I can sort these from positive side or negative side and I want to you know sort of all of this information from information click the insert tab and then you will get all of your recommendation about chart I love this circle so I take and create this one but now I need to create and give some title for these stats because if I not not only will do that it will sell so under advanced editing I have a title input and here I can give some new name I can also change the location of legend I can choose the colors which is IO and you can change it here everything that you want even you can create a 3d or 2d I think it's really looking nice so I can do that and then I need to click update button and again I can repeat this process click this arrow and go to the powder skirt and go to the ambit tab and again you we need to drop browse of statistics and that way we give the name we need to create an interactive stats and then go to the publish again ok again take this code of our iframe and paste inside your website and again refresh your page and you will get another chart inside your website
