Goma At Home: French Toast With Apple Compote For Lucy

[Music] hello and welcome again to gom at home and for today i am preparing for you french toast with apple compote wow french toast all you need are leftover bread yesterday together with the with the egg mixture okay so apple compost [Music] [Music] nut mix so we'll do our apple compote first we'll slice our apples okay into small pieces little tablespoon garlic and corn and i just put it take that like this and uh so what will slice nothing up again cut into small pieces [Music] [Music] [Music] then stopped upon breakfast so after this breakfast nothing happened breakfast [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so we'll put our apples here and put some juice more than half a cup then the rest will not even [Music] let's see one two three put a little nutmeg mixture in that internet there you go put some uh cinnamon [Music] put lots there now let's bring it to a boil mix it in about 15 minutes 20 minutes stir it boil wait to medium heat [Music] good [Music] really good so while our compote is cooking [Music] so while our compote is cooking again milk and egg mixture then parsnips uh some french toast we'll drop in about a cup of milk cup and half now cup and half of milk [Music] okay then we'll put in two eggs let's get into the eggs and then we'll add some some cinnamon [Music] wow yeah the more cinnamon the better and then we'll whisk it [Music] after whisking it [Music] we will put it in a medium heat there you go let's check on our compote let's try it out if we need to put some more sugar put in a little more sugar one tablespoon when your apples are really soft yeah that means [Music] french toast that's right now it's good the sourness and the sweetness of sugar then [Music] [Music] milk mixture nothing and let it brown a little the brown that brown yeah that's the one that will give color those are the french toast nothing and we put our bread [Music] you can smell the apples cooking french toast nothing with the cinnamon smells good with the butter shut up okay it's browning so you get that mixture and more butter in the middle there you go wow look at that [Music] sugar and the orange just make sure that then yeah almost brown a little more okay lower the heat so we'll make three batches of all right this perfect look at that get down in cold or you know we're gonna put on a plate then we'll make the second one a little more butter good and then while doing that dip the natural bread okay time to dunk our bread [Music] plastic and at the same time the little lutheran origin apple compote so by the time we're done with this just before we serve this and um we will harvest some tarragon cigarette and and then we'll infuse it with very hot water so while you're having breakfast you can have tea with it or you can have milk or your coffee let's see that inside gonna look some brownish one wow good let's try the compote up oh honey there you are come here tell me honey breakfast there you go lucy's there honeymoon [Music] look at this for breakfast okay one last [Music] brownie and then it's the last bread together with the mixture look at that honey this good breakfast no it's almost done yes of course with our compost it's almost done next time let's get all the butter how do you want this french toast with tea with coffee or me but this morning i'll break my tea yeah but your lover of vegetable juice or some and fruit juice more fruits huh more fruits more fruits than vegetables okay during this vegetable what do we need it's a it's not a desire fruits vegetables [Music] it's a need it's a need yes vegetables or orange juice here a little lime juice with the with the apples and then some sugar cinnamon and nutmeg so once we're done with our french toast honey put some butter on top just to melt it wow look at that wow juice come here then we'll put in our components you can do this with any fruit you can do it with bananas oh yeah definitely yes there you go and then put some on the side just in case you want some more [Music] okay yes do this before i serve this to you gotta go depend on tea okay [Music] [Music] it's good with the sauces it's good for your digestive system yeah we'll uh wash this and then infuse it with hot water so now we have our freshly cut top gun let's just wash it a bit okay again to dry our leaves put in a towel and then just shake shake shake [Music] and put it here can you put the whole bunch there [Music] put everything inside and then get hot water so put some hot water here and let it dip for about three minutes wow smell it look at that okay let's try it [Music] so our target will let it steep for about 10 minutes and while we're eating this it's a steep day on peanut and hold this honey let me try it for you [Music] like perfect bacon it's a wonderful wonderful breakfast food the french toast is so soft the compote is not so sweet it's not too sour it's just right you can taste the cinnamon pretty good good give some tea just another day in ireland yep it's
