affliction so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God for as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings so through Christ we share abundantly and comfort to [Music] second Corinthians chapter 5 verse 17 therefore if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation the old has passed away behold the new has come [Music] indeed [Music] Malachi chapter 3 10 through 12 bring the full tithe into the storehouse that there may be food in my house and thereby put me to the test says the Lord of Hosts if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need I will rebuke the Devourer for you so that it will not destroy the fruits of your soil and your vine in the field shall not fail to bear it since the Lord of hosts then all nations will call you blessed for you will be a land of delight this is the Lord of hosts mark chapter 11 22 through 26 and jesus answered [Music] Revelation chapter 3 verse 5 the one who conquers will be clothed thus and in white garments and I will never blot out his name from the book of life I will confess his name before my father and before his angels he who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches [Music] Revelation chapter 3 10 through 13 because you have kept my word about patient endurance I will keep you from the hour of child that is coming on the whole world to try those who dwell on the earth I am coming soon hold fast what you have so that no one may seize your crown the one who conquers I will make him a pillar in the temple of my god never shall he go out of it and I will write on him the name of my god and the name of the city of my god the New Jerusalem which comes down from my god is at hand do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving let your requests be known to God and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will [Music] Psalm chapter 34 15 through 19 the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry the face of the Lord is against those who do evil to cut off the memory of them from the earth when the righteous cry for help o Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him out of them all [Music] Jeremiah chapter 33 two three thus says the Lord who made the earth the Lord who formed it to establish it the Lord is his name call to me and I will answer you and will tell you crate and hidden things that you have not known [Music] Jeremiah chapter 33 verse 6 behold I will bring in health and cure and I will cure them and I will reveal to them abundance of peace and truth [Music] Isaiah 41:10 3:13 fear not for I am with you be not dismayed for I am your God I will strengthen you I will help you I will uphold you with my righteous right hand behold all who are incensed against you shall be put to shame and confound it those who strive against you shall be as nothing and shall perish you shall seek those who contend with you but you shall not find them those who war against you shall be as nothing at all for I the Lord your God hold your right hand it is I who say to you fear not I am the one who helps you Isaiah 40 27 through 31 why do you say Oh Jacob and speak O Israel my way is hidden from the Lord and my right is disregarded by my God have you not known have you not heard the Lord is the everlasting God the creator of the ends of the earth he does not faint or grow weary his understanding is unsearchable he gives power to the faint and to him who has no might he increases strength even youths shall faint and be weary and young men shall fall exhausted but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength they shall mount up with wings like eagles they shall run and not be weary they shall walk and not faint Matthew chapter 11 28 through 30 come to me all who labor and are heavily burdened and I will give you rest take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls for my yoke is easy and my burden is light [Music] Psalm 91 he who dwells in the secret place of the most high will rest in the shadow of the Almighty I will say if Yahweh he is my refuge and my fortress my god in whom I trust for he will deliver you from the snare of the Fowler and from the deadly pestilence he will cover you with his feathers under his wings you will take refuge his faithfulness is your shield and rampart you shall not be afraid of the terror by night nor of the arrow that flies by day nor of the bestial ins that walks in darkness nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday a thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand but it will not come near you you will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked because you have made Yahweh your refuge and the most high your dwelling place no evil shall happen to you neither shall any plague come near your dwelling for he will put his angels in charge of you to guard you in all your ways they will bear you up in their hands so that you won't dash your foot against a stone you will tread on the Lion of the Cobra you will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot because he has set his love on me therefore I will deliver him I will set him on high because he has known my name he will call on me and I will answer him I will be with him in trouble I will deliver him and honor him I will satisfy him with long life and show him my salvation [Music] romans chapter 8 16 through 18 the Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God and if children then heirs heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ if indeed we suffer with it that we may also be glorified with it for I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us [Music] John chapter 14 25 through 27 these things I have spoken to you while I am still with you but the helper the Holy Spirit whom the father will send in my name he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you peace I leave with you my peace I give to you not as the world gives do I give to you let not your hearts be troubled neither let them be afraid [Music] Romans chapter five one through five therefore since we have been justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God not only that but we rejoice in our sufferings knowing that suffering produces endurance and endurance produces character and character produces hope and hope does not put us to shame because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us [Music] second Corinthians chapter 13 verse 11 finally brothers rejoice aim for restoration comfort one another agree with one another live in peace and the God of love and peace will be with you Isaiah chapter 53 verse 5 but he was wounded for our transgressions he was crushed for our iniquities upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace and with His stripes we are healed [Music] Psalm chapter 37 verse 37 mark the blameless and behold the upright for there is a future for the man of peace [Music] hebrews chapter 12 verse 11 for the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it [Music] Matthew chapter 6 25 through 33 therefore I tell you do not be anxious about your life what you will eat or what you will drink nor about your body what you will put on is not life more than food and the body more than clothing look at the birds of the air they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns and yet your heavenly Father feeds them are you not of more value than they and which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life and why are you anxious about clothing consider the lilies of the field how they grow they neither toil nor spin yet I tell you even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these but if God so clothe the grass of the field which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven will he not much more clothe you oh you of little faith therefore do not be anxious saying what shall we eat or what shall we drink or what shall we wear for the Gentiles seek after these things and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all but seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you [Music] so lunch after 1:26 5 through 6 those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy he who goes out weeping burying the seed for sowing shall come home with shouts of joy bringing his sheaves with him Psalm 16 5 through 11 the Lord is my chosen portion and my cup you hold my life the lines have fallen for me in Pleasant places indeed I have a beautiful inheritance I blessed the Lord who gives me counsel in the night also my heart instructs me I've set the Lord always before me because he is at my right hand I shall not be shaken therefore my heart is glad and my whole being rejoices my flesh also dwells secure for you will not abandon my soul to Sheol or let your Holy One see corruption you make known to me the path of life in your presence there's fullness of joy at your right hand are pleasures forevermore [Music] John 16:33 I have said these things to you that in me you may have peace in the world you will have tribulation but take heart I have overcome more first Peter chapter five six through Center humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you casting all your anxieties on him because he cares for you [Music] lamentations 3 22 through 23 the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases his mercies never come to an end they are out its roots by the stream and does not fear when heat comes for its leaves remain green and is not anxious in the year of drought for it does not cease to bear fruit [Music] Romans 8:26 through 30 likewise the spirit helps us in our weakness for we do not know what to pray for as we ought but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words and he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit because the spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God and we know that for those who love God all things work together for good for those who are called according to his purpose for those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his son in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and those whom he predestined he also called and those whom he called he also justified and those whom he justified he also glorified [Music] Romans chapter 8 35 through 39 who shall separate us from the love of Christ shall tribulation or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword as it is written for your sake we are being killed all day long we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered no in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us for I am sure that neither death nor life nor Angels nor rulers nor things present nor things to come nor powers nor height nor depth nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord [Music] Romans 10:9 through 13 if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and the name of the Lord will be saved Psalm chapter 9 9 through 12 the Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed a stronghold in times of trouble and those who know your name put their trust in you for you O Lord have not forsaken those who seek you see praises to the Lord who sits enthroned in Zion tell among the peoples his deeds for he who avenges blood is mindful of that he does not forget the cry of the afflicted [Music] proverbs 3 1 through 12 my son do not forget my teaching but let your heart keep my commands for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you bind them around your neck write them on the tablet of your heart so you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man trust in the Lord with all your heart do not lean on your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make straight your paths be not wise in your own eyes fear Lord and turn away from evil it will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce then your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will be bursting with wine my son do not despise the Lord's discipline or be weary of his reproof for the Lord reproves him who he loves as a father the son and whom he delights [Music] James 5:13 through 60 as anyone among you suffering let him pray is anyone cheerful let him sing praise is anyone among you sick let him call for the elders of the church and let them pray over him anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord and the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick when the Lord will raise him up and if he has committed sins he will be forgiven therefore confess your sins to one another and pray for one another that you may be healed the prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working [Music] Matthew 7:7 through 11 ask and it will be given to you seek and you will find knock and it will be opened to you for everyone who asks receives and the one who seeks finds and to the one who knocks it will be opened or which one of you if his son asks him for bread will give him a stone or or if he asks for a fish will give him a serpent if you then who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children how much more will your father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him [Music] Psalm 103 one through twelve bless the Lord O my soul and all that is within me bless His Holy Name bless the Lord O my soul and forget not all his benefits who forgives all your iniquities who heals all your diseases who redeems your life from the pit who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the Eagles the Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed he made known his ways to Moses his acts to the people of Israel the Lord is merciful and gracious slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love he will not always chide normal he keep his anger forever you does not deal with us according to our sins nor repay US according to our iniquities for as high as the heavens are above the earth so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him as far as the east is from the west so far does he remove our transgressions from us as a father shows compassion to his children so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear Him [Music] Psalm 107 13 through 16 then they cried to the Lord in their trouble and he delivered them from their distress he brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death and burst their bonds apart let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love for his wondrous works to the children of man for he shatters the doors of bronze and cuts into the bars of iron [Music] [Music] John 14:1 through seven let not your hearts be troubled believe in God believe also in me and my father's house are many rooms if it were not so what I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you and if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and will take you to myself that where I am you may also be and you know the way to where I am going Thomas said to him Lord we do not know where you're going how can we know the way Jesus said to him I am the way and the truth and the life no one comes to the Father except through me if you had known me you would have known my father also from now on you do know him and have seen him [Music] John 14:12 through 21 truly truly I say to you whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do and greater works than these will he do because I am going to the Father whatever you ask in my name this I will do that the father may be glorified in the son if you ask me anything in my name I will do it if you love me you will keep my Commandments and I will ask the Father and He will give you another helper to be with you forever even the Spirit of Truth whom the world cannot receive because it neither sees him nor knows him you know him for he dwells with you and will be in you I will not leave you as orphans I will come to you yet a little while in the world will see me no more but you will see me because I live you also will live and that day you will know that I am in my father and you in me and I in you whoever has my Commandments and keeps them he it is who loves me and he who loves me will be loved by my father and I will love him and manifest myself to him mark 10 27 through 31 Jesus looked at them and said with man it is impossible but not with God for all things are possible with God Peter began to say to him see we have left everything and followed you jesus said truly I say to you there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands for my sake and for the gospel who will not receive a hundredfold now in this time houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands with persecutions and in the age to come eternal life but many who are first will be last and the last will be first Matthew 24:12 through 13 and because lawlessness will be increased the love of many will grow cold but the one who endures to the end will be saved John chapter 15 1 through 11 I am The True Vine and my father is the vine dresser every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes that it may bear more fruit already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you abide in me and I in you as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine neither can you unless you abide in me I am the vine you are the branches whoever abides in me and I in him he it is that bears much fruit for apart from me you can do nothing if anyone does not abide in me he's thrown away like a branch and withers and the branches are gathered thrown into the fire and burned if you abide in me and my words abide in you ask whatever you wish and it will be done for you by this my father is glorified that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples as the father has loved me so have I loved you abide in my love if steadfastness with godliness and godliness with brotherly affection and brotherly affection with love for if these qualities are yours and are increasing they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ for whoever lacks these qualities is so nearsighted that he is blind having forgotten that he was cleansed from his former sins therefore brothers be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election for if you practice these qualities you will never fall for in this way there will be richly provided for you and entrance into the
