Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
Very amateurish. Some old known facts paired with very far from optimal items. A good Java is undying without having to use semi optimal (read:crap) items for mf.
It gave me a good foundation for my zon. And it's fun. I swapped tals for gladiator( because purple) and shako for coa with tgods and a Manald and have tons of fun. I think the old school game snob is just a normal d2 dork like 95% of us π
For PvM farming, damage is of more importance than tankiness. I'd say Phoenix Shield on switch does much more than any amount of dmg reduction for your survival.
Souls might be the only snag i encounter while farming WSK in players8. Until they are hit by Conviction aura from Infinity. So, Tgod and Wisp could be useful there. But then you lose the mighty Pierce from Razortail. So i just have my Single Player Map with a fast WSK2 and i don't bother.
Man, y'all are tearing this guy apart. He's breaking from the norm and experimenting and he should be rewarded for that... Not everyone that plays now played 20 years ago and may be interested in a more tanky build than an expensive out of reach build without grinding 1000s of hours.
Cheers, it's not for everyone, but thanks for taking the time to expose us to what's possible.
Im in process of making it myself, but need to get to lvl 85 to actually be able to try it out with all the listed gear. Im solely going to use this java to farm nilithak and cows so for me its appealing. If i find better gear along the way then ill switch the build
it rocks
Game snob is full of objectively bad information. And insanely tedious to listen to
