award-winning certified platinum singer and songwriter has become one of the most iconic artists in gospel music history in addition to being a billboard music awardee as the top gospel artist for the i'm so excited to be here with you in the presence of god i'm home y'all i'm home if you in the room i need y'all to scream at me make me feel good i was telling kenny this morning you started preaching in the pandemic so you're not used to a crowd i'm like i need somebody screaming he said uh no i still need people screaming at me but good morning i'm so excited to be here eight years our spiritual parents have been leading and serving the body of christ in such an excellent manner and we are so honored and privileged to call you parents to call you pastors to call you mentors you have been so amazing in our lives and there's so much more i was standing over there on the side and the lord spoke to me bishop and he said you haven't seen it yet you've seen a lot but you haven't seen it yet and there's so much more in store can you say that put that in the chat mount zion say there is so much more in store there is so much more in store there is a word from the lord this morning as we were as we were preparing for this moment i just felt a moment of worship to lead us into this word that god has for us this morning i'm a royalty my father is king and i believe i am yours i'm a royalty [Music] sometimes you have to remind yourself my father is king and i believe i am yours like a brush in the hands of an artist i am your masterpiece i thought before life ever started you took your time on me [Music] and i believe i am yours and i've heard a thousand stories of what they think you're like and i've heard the tender whispers of love in the dead of night and you tell me that you're pleased and that i'm never alone you're a good good father it's who you are it's who you are i know who you are and i'm loved by you that's who i am it's who i am [Music] this is [Music] presence would you speak to us this morning [Music] strengthen us this morning through your word we'll give your name the glory in jesus name amen day of the third chapter the 25th verse very familiar passage of scripture but i believe god has a word for us this morning through this scripture it's just one verse and it says he said look i see four men walking around in the fire unbound and unharmed and the fourth looks like a son of god can we read that one more time he said look i see four men walking around in the fire unbound and unharmed and the fourth looks like a son of the gods i want to start this lesson off with a simple fact a reality an undeniable truth i'm good baby i honor my husband this morning i love you it's my caramel frappe all right i'ma start this lesson off with a simple fact a reality an undeniable truth that god is undefeated can you say that god is undefeated come on type that say god is undefeated you can take it to the bank you can put your money on it i used to play basketball i know y'all i look like a baller my husband's the best baller in the world but i'm right up under him okay i used to play basketball and we have this we had this one player if you ever got the ball in her hands and gave her an opportunity to shoot it you can count it there was no doubt that the ball was going in right where you are i need you to say count it count it as long as the ball is in god's hands you can count it because our god is undefeated there are several accounts in scripture that support this truth god was undefeated when he led the children of israel to the defeat the city of jericho in the fifth and sixth chapter of joshua after marching around the wall for six days then shouting on the seventh day god was undefeated when gideon defeated 135 thousand midianites with 300 soldiers in judges 7. god was undefeated when he guided david through killing goliath with a slingshot and one smooth stone in 1st samuel 17 and god was undefeated in my life in 2014 when a polyp on my right vocal cord stripped away my voice for months in the middle of a worship moment it dissolved leaving doctors in awe of the wonder of god god was undefeated six months ago when there was an attack on my husband's heart the science and doctors told us it should have taken his life but today he lives with a heart that has no signs of an attack no damage 100 healthy because our god is undefeated don't leave me out here by myself y'all i need you to just think back to those omg moments in your life the moments when god stepped in and caused a shift in your situation those moments in your life that are marked by miracles i'm here to increase your faith today that same god is still undefeated that god that healed your body that god that saved your marriage that god that covets your children that god that canceled that debt he protected your loved ones and rerouted that accident he's the same god right now he was undefeated then and he's undefeated now somebody screamed my god is undefeated can we just take a moment and give god praise because he's never lost one battle can we give god praise i need somebody to lift up your praise even at your house because god is undefeated the enemy wants to try and cloud our memories with the fog of our current situation but i came to help you remember somebody say remember remember it may feel like this mountain is too high and it may feel like this valley is too low but i came to tell you that with man that thing is impossible but with god all things are possible because god is undefeated god is undefeated god is undefeated i need you to say that thing until your situation responds god is undefeated i need you to say that until your body responds god is undefeated i need you to say it until that pain leaves your body that god is undefeated say it until your children start acting right god is undefeated let's take a moment to review this text we all know it very very well the three hebrew boys they were what we would call in my day bout about it i'm a little i'm a little aged now so i tend to think of myself as relevant so the kids today bri i think they would say they were savage that's good that's good all right i think i did it right they had unwavering faith in god their faith was so strong that they had even digested the fact that to live is christ but to die is gain they were confident that god would come through for them but even if he didn't either way they win king nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold he summons all the important people magistrates and judges and provincial officials to come to the dedication of this image he then had a decree to be made that at the sound of these instruments nations and people of every language were to fall down and worship this image can i just take a sidebar right here and say that i'm just not dancing to the beat of everybody's drum going are the days of following the crowd i'm i'm not moving to the rhythm of everybody's beat i'm not compromising my standards because it's culture i'm not taking off my crown because the world says that the new standard is to live loose if you want to twerk all over the internet if you want to use filthy vulgar language if you want to know i'm not compromising my standards just because culture instructs me to conform i will not bow i'm on shadrach meshach and abednego's team i will not bow i'm talking to some young people right now do not bow to what culture tells you you have to do these boys refused to bow so a few snitches decided that they would run and tell the king that there were some jews who were not playing by the rules here's what here here's where things get a little heated the king confronts these boys and not backing down they told him there was absolutely positively no way that they were bowing nope not doing it the king the king is infuriated and orders the furnace to be heated seven times hotter than usual listen the furnace was so hot that the men who threw them in the fire were burned up by the heat i'm gonna take another pause right there for a prophetic moment i just want to prophesy prophetically declare that the enemy's plans are about to backfire i said the enemy's plans are about to backfire i hear that in the spirit the enemy's plans were for the for that thing to take you out but his plans are about to scream backfire he planned for you to die here but i declare that you will live he planned for your family to fall apart but i prophesy super that supernaturally unity is coming into your house the enemy planned for that grief to cause your emotions to spiral out of control but pierce family i declare that you are about to experience peace that surpasses all understanding it's going to backfire it's it's whoa i feel like running y'all i said it's going to backfire i'll say it this way that what the enemy meant for evil it's turning for your good i need somebody to declare that the enemy's plans are about to backfire the fire was meant to burn you up but i declare that you are fireproof i'm fireproof i'm i feel good i feel i'm fireproof this drops me off to where we're going we got three three points y'all we got three points the 25th verse says he said look i see four men walking around in the fire unbound and unharmed and the fourth looks like a son of god look i see four men walking around in the fire unbound i'ma stop right there most times our attention is immediately drawn to the fact that three people were in the in place into the furnace but now there are four you've heard that before i mean that's where you start this sermon off when you preach here all right that three people were placed into the fire but there were now three four but this time something different stood out to me bishop i i said wait in daniel 3 19 and 20 the scripture says that nebuchadnezzar was furious with shadrach meshach and abednego and his attitude toward them changed he ordered the furnace heated seven times hotter than usual and commanded some of his strongest soldiers in his army to tie up shadrach meshach and abednego and throw them into the blazing furnace these fellas were not just thrown into the furnace the scripture said they were tied up and thrown into a blazing furnace i wasn't there so i don't know the timeline of events but i can imagine that one of the first things jesus did when he showed up was loose them somebody said god is loosing me come on say god is loosing me now can we be honest we just we just want him to get us out of the fire but the symbolism in this text is screaming to be addressed i find it very interesting that jesus loosed them from the shackles but didn't free them from the fire could it be that god is telling us i need you to trust me in this fire could it be that the fire is serving a purpose could it be that the heat you feel is preparing you for a purpose i know we don't want to hear this y'all but could it be that that situation that you're dealing with is birthing a testimony through you that could save a generation the good news is the fire can't burn you you can experience freedom in them even in the midst of an uncomfortable situation i'll say that again you can experience freedom in the midst of an uncomfortable situation can i tell you that whom the sun sets free is free indeed freedom is not contingent upon your current situation freedom is not contingent upon the chains that are shackling you freedom is not contingent upon that fire that heat that you feel freedom is contingent upon who's with you it's about who's with you i command those i command you to be loose somebody lift your hands i prophesy right now i speak freedom to your mind this fire can't burn you this situation can't kill you and you will not die here i speak freedom to your soul i command your thoughts to be free i command your will to be free i command your emotions to be loosed from the chains of bondage in jesus name somebody say i'm free i'm free i'm free i'm free could it be that god is keeping you there to teach you something could it be that god is teaching and keeping you there so that people can see the goodness of the lord in the land of the living could it be that god is keeping you there so that when he delivers you the eyes that encounter your freedom will be drawn to the presence of god sometimes he won't take you out of the fire but he'll give you freedom in it for many of us this has been a challenging season many of us have been warring with anxieties uncertainties and fears but today i came to declare that god is loosing you from those chains that have come to tie you up and prevent you from forging forward into destiny i release you into purpose in jesus name in jesus name this verse says god he this verse says look i see four men walking around in the fire unbound and number two unharmed i have an interesting imagination i just imagine the hebrew boys walking around in the midst of the fire chilling with onlookers puzzled and amazed like what they don't feel the heat like how is it possible that that's the kind of god that we serve he's our protector somebody said god is protecting me come on say god is protecting me he's chill he's shielding us from those things that were meant to kill us i shared this story about my husband's heart the most miraculous part about this story is that my husband was having a massive heart attack the statistics still state that he should have been dead within 90 minutes instead my husband was walking around laughing talking having meetings sitting up in the hospital calling bishop pierce calling bishop murphy calling me to see if i was okay that night at midnight after the surgery he facetimed me and said bae so what happened did i have a heart attack i said what he was in the midst of a fire but felt no heat because god is protecting me protection comes with his presence psalms 32 7 says you are high you are my hiding place you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance some of you are saying pastor tasha i hear you but i've been feeling the heat just to be honest i it sounds good but i feel it i hear you saying that god is god has protected me but i've been feeling every blow my response to you is to invoke the presence of god i remember i remember seven years ago you guys remember this i remember seven years ago i was at the stellar wars my parents were there it was the first time i won some awards and uh first time we was ever able to get my daddy out of jessup which was a blessing he came to the stellar awards i remember him getting on the elevator that night holding the cellars in his hand he was so proud and uh the next morning the next day he went to be with the lord seven days later seven days later i go to la i go to la and i win a grammy award as a new artist never happens and after that two weeks later i remember i had all these bookies on the calendar had all these bookies on the calendar and my mom my brother and i we had agreed that we was going to take some time off from ministry take some time away from the church and i remember standing on the stage y'all and i was ministering break every chain watching people be healed delivered and set free i was watching freedom hit their lives but my heart was broken and the lord reminded me of this song that we used to sing when i was a child it says i'll say yes lord yes to your will into your way i'll say yes lawyers i will trust you and obey and out of my heart i begin to sing when your spirit speaks to me with my broken heart i will agree and my answer will be yes lord yes and when i said that holy spirit spoke to me he said the peace that you need is in my presence he told me y'all going the wrong way we were like we're going to take some time off but god said no you you're going the wrong way the hebrew boys were in a furnace with the heat turned up seven times there is nothing that could have taken the burn out of the fire except the presence of god god's presence is the only thing that could cause fire to malfunction god's presence is the only thing that can cause fire to malfunction people were wondering how in the world can she stand to minister and leave people in worship like that with a broken heart and my response is because where the spirit of the lord is there is liberty the protection that you need is in his presence i feel like ronnie the protection that you need is in his presence the joy that you're searching for it's in its presence and where the spirit of the lord is there is freedom glory to your name jesus going to our third point y'all and the the last part of that verse says and the fourth looks like a son of the gods here's what i love about this story god could have easily sent angels to do the job or better yet he could have said a word to do the job but instead he came oh my god ain't that just like god y'all there is no fire hot enough to burden there is no fire hot enough no burden hard enough no sadness heavy enough to run him away the song says there's no shadow he won't light up no mountain he won't climb up coming after me there there's no wall he won't kick down no la he won't tear down coming after me i came to tell you that he's right here with you i'm gonna leave you with this point in just a few minutes but i need to drive this home with you somebody scream god is with me oh come on say it god is with me god is with me i don't know about you but it matters who you have with you the three hebrew boys were literally in the middle of a meltdown if we be honest some of us feel like we've been in the middle of a meltdown but guess what god is with you in the middle of a breakup a divorce a transition god is right there with you ladies when you went through that first puppy love heartbreak no matter how many bffs you had you truly just needed your mother with you fellas when you lost that championship game but just by just a few points i know how that feel y'all no matter how much pep talking your coach did you truly just needed your father with you because it matters who's with you you get a different response when you have the right person with you my husband is six feet five brawn handsome his presence alone demands respect people respond different when i have him with me folks won't try me the same when he with me oh y'all i came to tell you that god is with you fire has to respect his presence mountains have to respect his presence i'm closing depression has to respect his presence anxiety has to respect his presence fear has to respect his presence tumors have to respect his presence i don't know what your specific situation is but if i were you i fill in the blank lack has to respect his presence what is it that you need confusion has to respect his presence no matter what type of fire you may be in it has to respect the presence of god because god is with you i need somebody right where you are if you at your house if you're in your car i need you to remind yourself that you are not there alone the worst says lo i will be with you always god is right there in that situation with you and as long as he's with you as long as he's with you it can't take over as long as he's with you the weight of that situation is not heavier than the glory of god i declare that the glory of god is in your house and it came to outweigh everything that's not like him so if your children been acting up invoke the presence of god if your body's been acting up invoke the presence of god if your mind has been acting up i dare you to invoke the presence of god because where god is there is freedom god is with me god is with me god is with me i remember i remember bishop i remember my father he used to tell me tasha you gotta stop going out buying all this stuff and you don't know the right questions to ask them i would go buy cars and houses getting taken advantage of he said well did you ask them why the house so cheap how how how good is the roof are you gonna have to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on the roof did you ask them uh why is this car at this price how's the transmission what's the kelly blue book information y'all need to write this stuff down because some of y'all been wasting money too and i would go out and buy this stuff and about the third time i did that i would call daddy on the phone and say you know what i ain't never doing this again without you because god has information that you don't have and the bible says that holy spirit will bring all things back to your remembrance don't go nowhere without him god is with me god is with me and he is undefeated no matter what that situation is it's not too hard for god somebody say this there is nothing too hard for god there is nothing too hard for god lift your hands there's nothing too hard for god nothing he's undefeated in all things he's never lost the battle and he's not gonna start with you you're not that important for him to come up with his throne his reputation is 100 percent [Music] god is undefeated so god today we want to say we give it all to you we want to say we give it all to you we trust you with everything every heartache every heart situation every heart decision i'm talking to some people this morning you've been faced with some hard decisions you got to make a decision and god is saying trust me to lead you i'm right here with you god is going to divinely begin to speak to you through holy spirit i hear this today i prophesy that god is going to speak to you and tell you what decision to make it matters and see what the enemy will do he'll try to clog things up and make it seem like well this is going to work better for me this will work better for the kids they'll be more comfortable if we stay here if we do that but god is saying let me lead you don't be distracted by the fog i like to say this all the time i moved i moved to atlanta on a word from god and it looked crazy because everything was working for me where i was i knew the church i knew i knew the move we was going up and down the east coast and i thought it was bomb y'all but god is saying i need you to move to atlanta cause it's something greater it was foggy though i have nowhere to live my cousin said you got six months to stay with me and then what i'm homeless i went to atlanta on a word from god and i could not see it with my natural eye you gotta trust that god is with you and in every situation the week that i went to atlanta i don't even know why i'm telling this y'all when i when i went to atlanta that same day before i ever went to her house i went straight to i thought it was a concert but william murphy was starting a church i was the one and only member to join that day he tells a story a little different he says he went home and told god what in the world you told me to do this and one person joined he said i would have never known that that one person was tasha cobbs i remember walking in my story's a little different walked in confused scared shaking thinking this gonna be over about two days and i'm going on i walked into the worship leader she began to sing lord if i find favor in your sight lord please hear my hearts climb cause i'm desperately waiting immediately i threw my hands up and i said god if it makes me uncomfortable i want to be where you are guess what the uncomfortability didn't go away but the freedom was there to operate in what god had called me to do it was all i knew to do it was all i knew how to do was to keep worshiping keep invoking his presence and every time i would lay beside my bed and ask god what are you doing he would take me further and say i can trust you as long as you stay right here i can trust you as long as you stay at my feet and to this day it doesn't matter how many awards how many people know my name my favorite place is right here i'm lost if i'm not right here oh my god i'm confused if i'm not right here the the enemy starts speaking untruths to me if i'm not right here i gotta i gotta stay right here uh i gotta stay right here don't be don't be confused about what it looks like y'all i gotta stay right here don't you bow to what the culture is saying you got about to stay right here uh stay right here stay right here i need some worshipers even in this moment if you're uncomfortable if you don't understand i need you to right now invoke the presence of god because the peace that you're looking for is right here at its speed the joy that you're looking for it's right here at the speed the understanding that you're looking for is right here at his feet and day by day day by day god would teach me this is why i did that and this is why i set that up this way and this is why i allowed you to go through that and this is why he gives you insight as it's at his feet oh god he gives you wisdom at his feet oh somebody go there and they would try to give me scripture and give me a word mom they would try to say this is what you need to do and a lot of them would say we're here for you and i believed them [Music] but i was in a place where literally only the presence of god could help me there i was i was praying about this moment god how can i minister to my family today and the lord said to me just teach him what you know tell him what you know i know what worship can do i know what worship can do y'all i've been in situations where i've been confused people are pulling at me throwing money at me but i would go to the feet of jesus and say he would say that is not what i have for you but common sense would have told me you better sign on that dotted line do you see these figures here but the feet of jesus sustain me it gives you longevity it gives you it gives you a peace that you can't understand oh my god it's at his feet y'all [Music] can we say that one more time and i'm [Music] done [Music] fervor job to make the grass look greener on the other side it is his job to make that thing look more shiny more polished but god is saying stay right there where you at you haven't seen it yet you haven't members of mount zion even if you're watching there was something that stood out to me in scripture i was studying the story of elijah and elijah one day um thank you bishop for the liberty to allow me to do this because i really i believe in sonship and i want to release this prophetically over the house and uh elijah elijah said if when i'm caught up if you see me when i'm caught up then you will receive the mantle because i have been beating myself up like why all these mentees that i have why only one or two of them get it and then all the rest of them doing crazy stuff and the lord said i want to lift that off of you it was elisha's responsibility to position himself to receive what was being poured out there is there there is a there is impartation that's being released through our leader but we got to put ourselves in the position to receive what god is pouring out in this next season of strength don't allow anything to distract your focus not the internet not a computer not kids at your house not agitation at your job when the man of god begins to speak possessing yourself to receive what he's throwing he's doing his job by throwing the mantle but it is our responsibility to be in position to receive what's being released elisha would have never had the double portion that he had had he not been positioned [Music] it's not bishop and pastor deb's
