Glock 17 vs Glock 19 The Gen 5 Side by Side

let's do a quick side by side of the glock 17 gen 5 and the glock 19 gen 5. [Music] guys anthony with real american outdoors and today i'm going to do a quick side-by-side for anybody in the market for a new glock um it's best especially the 17 or the 19. right off the bat they're both great you're not going to go wrong either way the clock 19 is obviously designed for more concealed carry purposes but you can conceal carry a glock 17. it is not impossible uh both options are wonderful because you have every holster option in the world regardless if it's outside the waistband inside the waistband etc so getting off the bat we're going to check make sure this is a safety check for all the nazis out there so we are clear we are clear this one clear clear so the glock 19 right here comes standard with a 15 round mag compared to the clock 19 uh 17 round mag so if you're looking for that higher capacity or your um this is more geared most police officers do carry a glock 17 or i guess the majority of them around the country do so you do have that 17 round magazine along with capabilities of getting higher capacity magazines so looking at them together the one on my right is the glock 19 with the 4.02 inch barrel compared to the um 4.49 inch barrel of the clock 17. so you're going to have a little bit heavier with the glock 17 it's a couple ounces heavier honestly it's really not a big deal so for concealed carry purposes you're it's not really going to be weight it's going to be the length of the slide and the in the grip so uh both these are very lefty friendly as i said in previous videos the glock 17 so you can see there and the glock 19. so these are pretty much or well they are the same guns they're just this is just a little bit bigger this is a little brother so um as you can see in the back here there widthwise they are the same you just have that longer grip so um both great guns so either one you roll with are going to be great i will put a link to the unboxing video of the uh glock 19 in the description below along with the glock 17 so you can see what uh glock gives you if you're in the market or your first time gun buyer and you're going with the glock so uh thank you guys for watching please check us out on facebook instagram uh give us a like and subscribe on youtube here and check out our new t-shirt store i'll i will put some links in the description below thank you guys for watching
