and i live in the yellow house next door and i almost didn't find my way here so i'm really glad you guys did uh today our call to worship is from psalm 18 and i have a few different verses here starting in verse 1. i love you o lord my strength the lord is my rock my fortress and my deliverer my god my rock in whom i take refuge my shield and the horn of my salvation my stronghold i call upon the lord who is worthy to be praised so i shall be saved from my enemies he reached down from on high he took me he drew me out of the mighty waters and he delivered me from my strong enemy and from those who hated me for they were too mighty for me they confronted me in the day of my calamity but the lord was my support he brought me out into a broad place he delivered me because he delighted in me this god his way is perfect the promise of the lord proves true he is a shield for all who take refuge in him for who is god except the lord and who is a rock besides our god the lord lives blessed be my rock and exalted be the god of my salvation for this i will extol o lord among the nations and sing praises to your name amen let us bow in prayer heavenly father lord we welcome you into this place lord i pray that you would move among us and that you would touch our hearts our minds and our souls if there is anything in our lives god that is a stronghold where the enemy has taken foot we pray that you would release us god we pray you are our rock you are our refuge you are our shelter and you are our deliverer lord we give to you anything we're struggling with any problems we may have god we give to you our lives and we say come and have your way among us we welcome you here and lord we thank you for who you are in your beautiful and holy name we pray and can all worship in different ways i come from being a preschool teacher so i know kids love to express themselves through dance really the only reason why i could do that but right now i want us to enter into this space of prayer and just really recognizing why we're here today we are here because of god's amazing grace amen we were sinners we were deemed unclean but god sent his son jesus to come to the earth to live as a man to die for our sins and he rose again he's coming back again hallelujah god is so so good and i am so thankful that i know him i want us to close our eyes now and we are going to pray to an amazing god heavenly father lord we are in awe of who you are god you've seen us sinners deemed unclean lord we couldn't save ourselves but lord you saw us and you loved us and you chose us you give us chance after chance after chance after chance and you never stop coming after us when we are like the lost sheep god you leave the 99 to find the one every time and it doesn't mean you neglect the 99 god we love you so much and we ask you lord to reveal to us more about your amazing grace we sing about it and we talk about this grace that you've given us but do we know how amazing it really is in our lives god your grace is not a one-time grace it's a continual grace and lord we are so thankful and honored that you would choose us that you would love us and i pray lord as we worship some more as we hear the sermon god that we would experience your amazing grace in each and every one of our lives whether we are here or online that we would have a rich encounter with your grace and with your love and lord as we are gathered here together we want to pray for our neighbor bc god there are fires that are tearing ravaging through bc that have destroyed a town already lord we pray for rain and we pray for healing we pray that you would put out the fires we think that it's just in our neighbors but it affects us here god and i just pray that you would lift the smoke god that you would help our lungs be able to breathe healthy oxygen you would put your mighty hand and you would protect our nation our country god we pray for you to come into our country and restore grace restore us lord we love you and we praise you and as the worship team comes back up i want us to really really listen to the words and i want you to remember the first time you fell in love with jesus not the first time you heard him the first time you fell in love remember that amazing grace that he gave you when he saved each and every one of you amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved like me i once was lost but now i see [Music] twas [Music] that grace [Music] is the lazy [Music] [Music] is [Music] me [Music] [Music] is the earth shall soon dissolve like snow the sun for bear to song called your grace finds me and it's just the words are beautiful and it talks about all of the different uh places in our lives that we may not think to look for god's grace and his grace is all around us in so many situations and so we just need to make sure that we're looking for that in in all of the different areas of our lives um so we're going to sing this song the words will be on the please follow along uh we're starting in verse 25 and we're going to go to 32 so then putting away falsehood let all of us speak the truth to our neighbors for we are members of one another be angry but do not sin and do not let the sun go down on your anger and do not make room for the devil thieves must give up stealing rather than let them labor and work honestly with their own hands so as to have something to share with the needy let no evil talk come out of your mouths but only what is useful for building up as there is need so that your words may give grace to those who hear and do not grieve the holy spirit of god with which you were marked with a seal for the day of redemption put away from you all bitterness and wrath and anger and wrangling and slander together with all malice and be kind to one another tenderhearted forgiving one another just as god in christ has forgiven you i'm going to invite dunia to come on up to give us the word and then we'll say a prayer over her shower heads heavenly father thank you so much for dunia and the word god that you have given her lord i pray that you would anoint the words that you have given her that are from you that you would speak them through her and that as they are anointed they would come to each and every one of us that it would penetrate our hearts our minds and our souls and it would bring us closer and closer to you and knowing your grace and more of who you are lord i thank you that you use the weak to lead the strong and we thank you god that you use us to bring your word and i just pray that if there are any nerves that you would calm the nerves and you would just let your words flow through dunya to each of us we thank you god in your holy name amen amen and it passes on to you because they said my when major denise told me dunya you have to preach the first thing then always i do i just go to god and i say okay god what do you want to talk about because you want to hear from him not from me i'm just a messenger but the word the true work comes from him and i don't know why but judgment came as a topic and i said oops okay so let's see what you have for us and uh i'm gonna share what god gave me this morning so at the beginning you know then we always need to have a kind of title for just for the sermons so i came with this title don't do not judge others just because they seem different than you and after when i was reading the scripture i opened the bible in john 7 24. in john 7 24 says do not judge according to appearance but judge with righteous judgment so i said oops so judge or don't judge and it's very clear the message is clear there's two ways to judgment one without god in our flesh and the other with god without wisdom and discernment of god we remember solomon king solomon gotta ask him what do you want and he asked for wisdom why he asked for wisdom because he was a king he knew that he had to make very heavy and strong decisions and he was with fear of god he knew that he has to lead god's people and he doesn't want to make any kind of mistakes he said god i'm not going to fail you i want to be a very good king that's why he asked for wisdom so salomon did the right thing we know that right salomon asked for understanding to discern justice the wisdom of god was in him to administer justice that's a huge difference right when we do it in our own flesh and that's why we have to pray prayer is so important in a christian life then we cannot take any kind of decisions we don't even have to give a move without seeking god first in anything anything even the little thing you have we have to ask for for to god and ask him for wisdom and discernment he says and if we ask he will give us and it's for all of us it's not just for the ones that are preached here and no it's for each of us because we are his children and everything that he has everything that he possesses for for you as symbol as that so romans 3 9 verses 9 to verse 11 says what then are we better than they no you know wise for we have before proof both jews and gentiles that they are all under sin as it is written that is non-righteous no not one there is none that understanding there is none that seek after god so that's why we don't have the ability that capacity to him to to judge because we are not righteous there's nothing good in us the only good in us is god is the holy spirit in us besides john 5 verse 27 says and he is referring to god has given him is referring to jesus authority to judge because he is the son of man there you go so we have to go to the one that is on charge in order to take a good decision because we are just not able we don't have the capacity to do it but we have it in him and through him don't forget about that so we're going to see some examples that are in the bible that are describes perfectly what judgment is in the flesh and we are going to say what judgment is in god's wisdom so if we're going to john chapter 8 verses 4 to 7 and i'm pretty sure that you are familiar with the story is the story of the woman that was caught in the act of adultery poor woman right poor thing so all the group of the people come and they took her and they was she was committing adultery and in the lower moses commanded us to stone such a woman the people said to jesus now what did you say jesus they were using this question and listen to this as a trap in order to have a basis for accusing him but jesus bent down and started to ride on the ground with his finger when they kept on questioning him he straightened up and said to them let anyone of you who is without sin be the first to thrown a stone at her so we find very two important key words to trap him to accuse him and normally when we judge in our flesh that's what we want to do we want to trap the person in sin we want to accuse a person because it's an influence because we don't care about that person's heart we don't care about the person's feelings we don't care about that the point is to accuse and that's not god we know then those are not godly emotions and feelings and desires so jesus said let any one of you who is without sin be the first to thrown a stone at her and we'll learn from jesus something here that even in judgment god chose mercy he does not desire the dead of the weak but rather that he desires then they should repent and live and that is the message that's what we as church because we i'm talking here to christians to the believers and the point here is to bring people to repentance that's our job god gave us that beautiful commandment go and make disciples that's a responsibility so i'm wondering if someone comes then we don't know and someone comes to church and how are you going to react to the person it doesn't looks like us are we going to say hi are we going to invite i'm going to treat them nicely so the person can feel welcome and can feel the love of god or is going to receive judgment from us so we have to pray in very very strong prayers i'm not talking about 20 minutes prayers here i'm talking a serious conversation with god every day because if we want wisdom and we want this sermon if we want to think things right we need to know and and stay very close to the god that we are talking with do you know your god but you spend time with your god daily and the other way then only way that you can know god is true prayer and to spend time in your bible there's no other way so that's a key for us we find another story very interesting story by the way the lost brother we are all familiar with that story the lost brother we know that he was living like kind of with a locker right he spent all the money and all the fortune with prostitutes and he was doing more things obviously but we are going to focus in the brother the brother the older brother was a pretty much a very good example of a child he was a very hard worker he was very disciplined even the bible says and he says to the father i never transgress your commandments never i have been faithful i'm very very good guy actually but when he brother returned that situation showed the condition of his heart and he said the bible says but he was angry and will not go into the party right he was invited and he refused because his heart was full of anger therefore his father came out and pleaded him so he answered and said to his father lo this many years i have been serving you i never trust your commandments at any time and yet you never gave me a young goat that i may marry with my friends but as soon as this your son not even as he's my little brother you know something nice kind words and this your son of yours came who was deborah your liverhood with harlot to kill the feather cuff for him so we we can see the condition of this brother we can see comparison we can see envy we can see jealousy and that's what he was but he didn't see he wasn't he was blind to see his own sin but he was very open nice to see the sin of his brother judgment that's why do not only see the sins in others but what about yours in hebrews 3 13 the bible says but absorb one of them another daily while ill is called today lest any of you be hardened through the sinfulness of sin exhort what is the meaning of that means to give advice makes urgent appeals that's what we have to do if we know then someone is committing sin we don't have to ignore it don't take me wrong when jesus said to adulter woman nobody condemn you i don't condemn you and what was the last phrase that he said and sin no more jesus and god they are not ignoring our sins but they are taking action jesus already says you are free to go see no more he gave us the power to do not sin anymore is that possible yes it is in his holy spirit so he with salvation comes the whole package we are not even have the desire to sin because that's jesus words sin no more and that's why we have to pray for it and if we see someone in common situations that we need to handle sin what are we gonna do we have to turn to god first and sing talk god what's going on with the situation i have to ask you what you what do you want me to do what's the wisdom here what the discernment god first and after you need to take action according god's guidance that's a big difference to exhort so does the world to exhort each other to minister each other fsu said to extort to edifying for edification to share love communion that's the purpose of judgment because god loves us the way we are yeah but he doesn't want us right to be in sin he wants to transform us and he wants to liberate us through his holy spirit and he's gonna do it he's doing it actually he's doing it so the question here is how are we reacting when we have to come in a point and we have to to take action in any situation as a godly people we have to come first to god and the last example that i want to share with you is in luke 15. sorry no that wasn't for the lost brother luke 18 verses 9 to 14 and this is the parable of the pharisee and the tax collector he pharisees stood and prayed as with himself god i thank you that i'm i'm not like other men extortionists unjust adulterers or even as this tax collector this one i fast twice a week how good i am i give tithes of all that i possess and the task collector standing a far off a far off will not so much as raise his eyes to heaven but with his breath saying god be merciful to me a sinner and the bible says i tell you this man went down to his house justified rather than the other for everyone who exalts himself will be humble and he who humbles himself will be exalted and the lesson here is very simple we cannot come with god with proud we cannot come to god with prayer it's impossible god loves the sinners god loves the one that are broken to heal them to show the power that he has and that's god so we cannot come to god with this insufficient because god doesn't like it at all he's not pleased with that attitude god cares about our hearts that condition of our hearts that's why he said i want to give you a new heart because god receives the proud but gives grace to the humble first peter 5 5 says that again we are here to edifying each other to minister each other each other to empower grace to each other and the question here is are we doing it with each other are we that nice with each other what happened if we see someone singing how are we going to handle it are we going to ignore it no we don't have to ignore it because ignoring a situation is very dangerous as same as judging the person without the judgment of god so i invite you this morning the message is simple and clear perhaps you have been judging someone and you're picking someone because you don't like that person much and you want to trap the person in sin because you know then something is wrong with her or with him and i'm gonna trap her i'm going to accuse her or accuse him perhaps you have been judged for others and they broke you so much and they make you feel so bad and you have to forgive you have to let it go because that's god's desire as the same way he forgive you you have to forgive others or perhaps we don't know somebody is just speaking on you and you know that you know that person what is wrong with that person so let it go let it go give it to god and allow him allow him to show you how he is and who he is in your life so i am going to invite that worship team and we are going to sing this song that reminds us who we are in jesus then we are justified already then we are not condemned if somebody is condemning you do not listen because you are justified to the salvation of jesus christ and if you feel then you have really to ask god for forgiveness because you have you haven't been nice maybe with someone just come humble yourself to god there's nothing wrong with that ex that's what he wants he want us to humble ourselves to him he wants to show us her condition so reflecting this god is really hard sometimes to let go of that impulse to judge and compare with others to resist that need to see myself as better than others help me to grasp deep in my
