Giving Away My Instruments

we did a video not too long ago and it's just pretty clear that i have too many instruments it's a little silly i'm just gonna give away a bunch of the instruments today yeah the first one i have my 12 string with me i love it but i think the last time i used it was filming this video and it's just been in a closet since then so we're gonna go back to kenosha and the first person to play a g chord on it gets it tweet i would like the guitar to be in tune when they get [Music] you're it great thank you so much i think they were being sarcastic but i'm going to take it [Music] [Laughter] ago here another youtuber tuba of two nation recently said that if you have a delay pedal you have to learn rain the one song everyone learns with their delay pedal is rain you gotta learn it if you got a delay pedal you gotta learn it so i think i just wanna give it to her and i told her that we were gonna recreate the music video with her in it i didn't tell her that i was gonna give her the guitar though and i'm pretty sure tuba she's like 20 and i felt a little weird as a 30 year old man asking her to come to a parking garage basement in the middle of the night um so i brought my mom hey and uh that somehow just makes me feel better i'm not a creep my mom's here my mom's mad that i got rid of the 12th street it's my favorite song she's not mad you gave away the guitar she's disappointed yeah big difference also it's so cool to be back here and the reverb is crazy [Music] yeah okay [Laughter] what an entrance such a pleasure to meet you my god this is so weird thanks for coming by the way i know this is super random pleasure actually part of the video is i'm giving away my instruments so i wanted to just give you this yeah so i just wanted to this is the one that i going yeah yeah we're back at my hometown guitar center where we filmed the video with the signature model they said it would be cool if we came back and gave away some instruments so thanks to them i also like that i came here as a kid and never bought anything and then came back and never bought anything and now i'm coming back and actively taking business away from them so i'm glad they're okay with it this time if anyone wants to jam i'm gonna say find the guitar or bass or whatever that you'd be most excited to play we're gonna pick it out and then after we jam i'm gonna say i'm buying it for you it's yours so i am buying something today from this guitar center this one's nice what's up dude how's it going long time no see how you been you've been good because i don't know if you i bought him a banjo and then realized i sent it to the wrong house and then i bought him another one and double checked banjo was never recovered i don't really know where it is but it's i hope it's in good hands i have this beautiful ml1 pro all in natural wood so for this one we're in the woods we've shot countless videos here i don't pay you to play complex poly rhythms and i figure whoever is here appreciates the woods so it's good yeah seem to make sense oh here we go got a gun a bike he keeps riding away from us there's a couple of them though there's a couple people on a bike are you years ago i shot a video here with this beautiful idiopan which is like a handpan drum that you can actually tune the company gave me four of them thanks for that guys i think i could lose one of them this is the one from the video [Music] no takers people might also think you're playing for free oh yeah maybe do you want an idiopan dude i got way too much stuff in my apartment i can't i'm trying to get rid of stuff what is this thing it's like a handpan drum and i'm just giving it away there's magnets at the bottom here that you can move on the tongues to get a different note so you can tune it to whatever you want and it sounds beautiful there are those magnets [Music] thank you bro right on man take it easy enjoy your radio fan thank you man have a great one yes people don't trust strangers this is what andrew played when he needed a whammy bar and we did that one video with it before tour because it has this floyd rose on it i only use it for stuff that's extreme yeah so we're here at the skate park i've been rollerblading my whole life and if anyone can put on the blades and soul grind this rail they win the guitar yeah you think about it okay i can teach you i taught it for years and i have skates with grind plates on them yeah yeah yeah what's your name dude renee renee i'm jake man that's rob rob nice to meet you good to meet you dude do you play guitar renee no my wife wants one so oh nice this is a really nice one yeah yeah you got it right back to skate camp so first thing i want you to do is just ride near it that's it nailed it okay put all your weight on your left foot and just lift your other foot up and that's it nice and all you're gonna do with your left foot is get it on the rail on your sole plate all your weight on your right foot and that's it just try that until you get used to it i'm gonna wax this like crazy just get more comfortable stepping onto it and then putting more and more of your weight on your left leg yes exactly like that i love rollerblading so much yeah i still have to think about them i'm processing everything in my head yeah just take things slow now you're gonna put all of your weight on that left leg but i want you to do it just at the end so get secure make sure you're locked in and then right at the end of the rail i want you to just put all your weight on that one leg just for a little bit okay so the next one is a step on soul grind if you want to jump off the ground later like this [Laughter] i'm not going to count that for the guitar okay the guitar is just a step on soul grind so exactly what you just did yeah and then you just put your other foot like that and just your h blocks on that you have these big like grind plates here yeah and then as soon as you get this it'll slide like a few inches that's the goal grind i count it [Laughter] [Applause] oh but that's so close renee that was awesome congratulations thank you guys got yourself a brand new guitar for sure thank you awesome you got it man that was amazing that was fun yeah thank you i need to pick up aggressive skating yeah for sure i feel like that's my next step dude it's so much fun video call my wife do you mind
