and you are comfortable with someone sitting next to you i think it's a packed house so we probably are all comfortable with someone sitting next to us would you squeeze in if there's an empty seat can we slide in so the open seats are at the end uh secondly if you could please not block the aisles or congregate around the entry door to the prayer room during worship or at any other point in the service amen and then lastly the front carpet if you do not know it's closed except for to our dance team the zion dance team where's the zion dance team are they in the house over here we love you guys we love the dance team all right hey could you put philippians 4 19 up there 419 i want to start reading this philippians 4 19. can we read this together and my god let's start over ready one two three let's put it together and my god will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in christ jesus let's read it one more time ready and my god will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in christ jesus listen if you're in this room a room this size i know there's several needs in the room there's several needs in the room there's people who have immediate needs there's people who've been contending for needs for a while there's some of you that maybe you can't identify what the need is but you have a need but but let me tell you jesus is the one my god it's my god who is able to supply all of our needs but listen listen to this yeah it's awesome we can who are around it but you know what i've learned about the lord is oftentimes i think i need something else and it's not really what i need he knows what i need and he comes and he serves me with a revelation of who he is and i actually realized man breakthrough financially wasn't what i needed what i needed was my heart to know he's a provider you know what i'm saying and i watched the lord do it this morning this morning the team got into a riff about he's the mighty god he's the mighty god and if you would have asked me before service hey what is a need you had i probably would have told you a handful of things but the lord was like no no no aaron you don't need all those things you think you need you just need a good morning like a shot of espresso of me as mighty god and man the moment he found a yes in my heart to say yes to him as he wanted to show up i'm on the front i'm weeping i'm encountering the lord and i left leaving not knowing wow i needed to see him as mighty this morning and so listen across the room i don't know what you need you may not know what you need but the lord knows what you need and i pray my prayer this team's prayer is that as the lord walks in the room tonight he would find an open heart that says yes lord however you want to come yes lord however you want to reveal yourself yes lord whatever you want to show us about yourself yes is there anyone in the room with a heart like that so can we just put our hands up and just say yes say yes we're going to tell the lord yes lord yes we're here from you come on stay with me say yes yes jesus however you want to come yes whatever you want to show us about yourself yes whatever you want to offer faith for yes however you want to touch your people yes whatever you want to confront tonight yes whatever you are doing or asking jesus we just declare yes to my god my god my god come on would you tell him tell him you're my god jesus you're my god oh lord you are ours and we are yours and we just declare yes to you tonight in jesus name come on if you have a yes in your heart just say amen crucified to set me free now i live to bring him praise but jesus crucified to set me free is oh forevermore is forevermore there forevermore crucified to set me free to bring and praise there's no one else for me crucified to set me free is oh forevermore oh foreign oh foreign cause there is no one else foreign free you're the one oh my is is is is foreign is hey check this out the lord is my light and my salvation whom shall i fear the lord is the strength of my life of whom shall i be afraid when the wicked came against me to devour my flesh my enemies and my foes they stumbled and fell though an army may be encamped around me my heart shall not fear the war rise up against me in this i will be confident that one thing have i desired of the lord that will i seek that i may dwell in the house of the lord all the days of my life that i would behold the beauty of the lord and inquire in his temple for in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion and the secret place of his tabernacle he shall hide me he shall set me high upon a rock and this opening text david talks about the wicked coming to devour him armies and camping against him war rising up against him and listen when his heart was tempted with the day of trouble when his heart started to feel the temptation to fear he stepped into this reality oh no no no no no no give me jesus oh no no no no one thing have i desired one thing one thing that he is my one thing i think about mary in luke 7 when she stumbled into the pastor's meeting and she stumbled past all of them and i just picture in mary's mind thinking i've tried this i've tried that i wasn't satisfied here i wasn't delivered there i was still need with this thing but oh when i met jesus and she's stumbling in and in the midst of persecution in the midst of accusation in the midst of all the things i feel like she too was dealing with the temptation for her heart to fear yet her eyes were locked on no no no no no give me jesus give me jesus give me jesus and i feel in the room that as we're singing this song that this song is amazing and it's an anthem and it's something that in the moment you feel the goosebumps and you're like yes but the reality is i feel like there's an invitation from the lord to return back to jesus and jesus alone to return back to jesus is my one thing he's my one thing and i feel like in the room there's probably several especially with a young crowd like this where the temptation comes and your heart starts to say oh you should fear oh there's a circumstance you should be afraid a war is rising up against you pick up arms pick up your weapons get ready to defend yourself and there's a reality that you can come back and say no no no my one thing is jesus and jesus alone my one pursuit is jesus in jesus alone oh yeah i need to remind my mind oh yeah i need to remind my heart my life is not my own but the life i live i now live to god and i feel like there's this this moment that if you've been dealing with the day of trouble it's been knocking on your door for you to take the eyes of your heart for you to take the eyes of your mind to take your physical eyes and look up and say oh yeah my life is not my own oh my life is not my own but give me jesus in jesus alone give me jesus and no other give me jesus and nothing else for all my hope is in this man all my needs are in this man all that i'm looking for is in this man every satisfied is satisfied in this man everything i'm longing for is in this man it's in this man it's in jesus in jesus alone and listen i want to lead us in this because we can sing the song but listen the days of just coming to church and it being sunday only is over and listen i feel the spirit of the lord saying would you return back to me would you remind yourself your life is not your own but the life you live you now live to god and so listen if that's you and that's hitting your heart i want to invite you right where you're at just to respond by getting on your knees like just by getting especially if you felt the day of trouble coming and you've been swayed and you've been in that wrestle and you've been like how am i gonna defend myself i feel like there's breakthrough and deliverance in returning to this single place and so these guys are gonna keep singing but i wanna i wanna invite you to get on your knees yeah i thank you for the ones that are doing it in the room and just right there with the lord begin to dialogue with him and tell him lord this anthem lord this song lord this prayer lord this thing is for me it's how i want to live my life it's how i want to root my life it's how i want to view my life but listen you can't do it without him you can't do it without him and i feel like there's a grace in the room the empowerment of the lord to come alongside you and remind you all my chips are in the basket of him so jesus lord i thank you i thank you jesus lord that you are the anchor for our soul i thank you jesus that all my needs are supplied in you i thank you that every satisfaction is you i thank you that when war rises up against me i can be confident and give me jesus give me jesus give me jesus when things don't make sense and life is hard and my faith means friction i can be confident in this give me jesus give me jesus give me jesus give me jesus give us jesus lord for our hearts you and you alone is and i don't need anything else you are i don't need anything else you want me is oh just you can is i don't need anything else you are you are i don't need anything you are i don't need anything else you are jesus lord i thank you i thank you lord your word says it pleased the father that the fullness would be found in you it's in you jesus it's in you and it's in you alone i just i feel this so strongly right where you are if you're responding to that word just to begin to tell the lord even out loud with your words lord you are my one thing you're my one thing jesus i just feel like the lord is in the room to strengthen and encourage hearts reminding you oh that when your life is not your own you don't have the pressure of needing to defend it you don't have to protect yourself you don't have to provide for yourself he says oh let me remind you that your life is not your own it's mine and i hear him saying i'm really good at defending i'm really good at pro protecting yeah i want to pray specifically for those of you if you feel like you can you can use that analogy the war rise up against you you feel like you've been in this place like you could describe it that way it's almost like there's been a war going on around you that you've been trying to walk through and and it's just been before you it's been before you it could look like a number of things but just feel like that's good language out of scripture the war rise up against me in this i will be confident oh that he is my one thing and i feel like if you've been walking through that place of the war the wars this good language if that's you i wanna i wanna pray for you i feel like the lord wants to encourage you i just feel like there's fresh perspective for you today just that deep breath of oh yeah my life is not my own he is my one thing and so if that's you would you raise your hand yeah there's several in the room so can we just surround these guys and i want to pray for them but i specifically want to pray for them out of this text i specifically want to encourage them with the one thing oh i feel like there's just this fresh reminder that your life is not your own which means you don't have to defend yourself the war rise up against you you don't have to pick up arms to fight for yourself you just look at your one thing and i feel like there's the strengthening of the lord there's the strengthening of the lord and the spirit like he's going to strengthen with might in the inner man if all i have is you i'm okay i'm okay okay one last thing i want to pray for if you're in the room and you're you've never given your life to the lord and you feel the beating in your heart you want to give your life to the lord um if that's you i just want you to put your hands straight up you feel the beating anyone in the room i'm gonna wait for just a second if you want to give your life to the lord you're like man what is this your heart's been beating it's jesus who's been calling your heart you're saying my i i've never lived this way where my life is not my own but i want to live that way i want to give my life to the lord is there anyone in the room i felt in my heart like there's one in the room okay okay well thank you lord i think sir beth has a couple words of knowledge she wants to pray for was there a hand that went up over here yes bro will you come to the front will you come pray with me i'm gonna punt the rest of this to my wife and she's gonna pray but i wanna i wanna pray with i just felt like when we were singing oh my delight is in you lord i felt like i heard him say oh my delight is in you and we're saying you are my one thing and i felt like he wanted to remind a few of us in the room tonight all of us but specifically a few of us that we are his one thing he's always speaking he's always moving so i have a few physical words of knowledge um i went to bed last night with all three of these like issues manifesting in my body which is not normal so i feel like the lord wants to heal this stuff the first thing is like chronic nausea if you just if you feel like you're always nauseous or always dealing with that go ahead and stand up i'm going to call them out and then we'll pray at the end so if that's you chronic nausea stand up yeah second thing was neck and shoulder tension i felt like i saw the lord like walk up behind us and just massage our necks and do things that like doctors and chiropractors and those kind of people are supposed to i feel like he's in the room tonight to do that that's one of the things um the other thing was digestive issues and i felt like it was it could be a bunch of people but i felt specifically a woman who has had to cut out a lot of things in your diet and you're specifically like a foodie if that's you will you like wave at me so i oh there's a lot of you okay cool that's awesome okay uh let's see if okay those were all the physical ones so let's just extend our hands to everyone who's standing up jesus the healer is in the room tonight jehovah rapha thank you jesus that you paid a high high price for the healing of our bodies and so lord i just thank you for healing chronic nausea right now at the sound of my voice jesus jehovah rapha come and touch touch and heal and deliver lord of chronic nausea of neck and shoulder tension lord i just thank you that you're coming up and massaging our necks and our shoulders and chronic neck and shoulder tension that's been there and you haven't been able to figure out why lord i just thank you that right now right now it's gone in jesus name and lord i thank you for specifically those women that stood up with digestive issues lord i just hear the lord say that is not your portion that is not your cup and so lord i just thank you for healing digestive issues right now in jesus name thank you lord for touching bodies for touching bodies lord if you're just if you're feeling something in your body will you wave at me whether it's like tingling or heat or something just wave at me okay they're in the back thank you lord for touching these bodies in jesus name amen amen okay i had one more what is your name right here with long hair eliana um i just felt like the lord was so delighted over you tonight and specifically i felt like he said that you have had opportunities to dance for the culture and that you've laid that down to dance for him and i just saw a bunch of like little children around you and you were instructing them and teaching them and i feel like there's a teaching gift on your life specifically in the area of dance while you stand up look how beautiful she is eliana what a pretty name yeah i just felt like there's there's a teaching anointing and uh just the gift of teaching and so let's just extend our hand to eliana i just felt like the lord was saying thank you for giving up dancing for the culture for dancing for me you're the one that is dancing for the lord and for no one else and i just saw you teaching these kids specifically like purity in dance so lord i thank you for eliana i thank you i even felt like the lord said you had an acting gift i don't know if you've acted in the past but i felt like i saw you coupling like acting and dancing into some something awesome so lord i just thank you for this precious girl lord i just thank you for your daughter lord i thank you that you know her from the inside out lord you created her you know every hair on her head you know every time she gets up every time she lays down and so we just bless eliana and the teaching gift that you've put on her when we just say fly eliana it's your season to fly and then one more thing i felt like the lord said was um that there's there's older people above you that are instructing you and that as you submit yourself to them that it's gonna go well with you and that you're gonna you're gonna receive so much from the wisdom that's above you and that there you have wisdom beyond your years but because you're choosing to lay that down and to receive the wisdom that's coming to you from these older people it's going to go well with you and you're going to receive more than you would if you're on your own you weren't made to be on your own you were made to be surrounded by people and so i just thank you lord for touching eliana lord for the gift of teaching the gift of dance the gift of acting on her life lord in jesus name amen amen so good thank you jesus i think we have a really amazing word tonight will you guys welcome michael with me oh we right miller miller everybody welcome up miller thank you baby no no how's everybody so good so good so good so good uh can we thank the worship team that was really amazing thank you guys really special um and i just want to thank you to aaron as you're walking by me um you you led me to the lord tonight buddy and uh it's a really precious thing what he was inviting us into it'll change your life if you really say yes to it i just never want to get too familiar to god's invitation to know him just really sobered by it and broken over it how little i know him don't don't get me i know him but i know i'm like a drop and there's this invitation that he's asking of his people i think the sin of our day is indifferent like be hot or cold come on before or against him when that invitation in line comes i want my heart to be provoked and if it's not i want to be concerned about my heart the problem is that we just have jesus and so much and it's a it's an epidemic it's it's tragic and especially in dallas like some of you this might be your second third service and i applaud you if that's true like it's amazing if you're going hard after god and you're hungry but man may we not become too familiar with a god we hardly know eternal life is knowing jesus for eternity we're gonna discover who this man is uh and to get a taste of him is to like just to get a taste it's ruined my life that one tastes when i was 20 and i went to a christian university grew up in a christian home i think i was born on a christian pew like my life was jesus but i was surrounded by the symbols of him but i never encountered the substance but once i encountered the substance my life has never been the same and i can line up i can line up people from different walks of life yeah it's not the miller i knew and my concern is there is just such an anointing in this place god really likes this place that we become familiar with and we miss the invitation to make him continually the one thing was a rich young ruler he had it all together uh he he you know he very well could have attended the upper room he was a guy that you would esteem respect he would have a guy that like you look at and you're like that is what a christian looks like that is what someone who follows the torah looks like but he had an ache in his soul and he came to jesus with this burning question he had heard of this messiah had heard of this one he had this burning question in his heart i think it was a longing inside of him that he wanted fulfilled when he came to him in matthew 19 verse 16 he says this this question i just i think he mulled over it i think he thought if i could get an audience with this man i would ask him this one thing because this one thing is what's missing inside of me i don't know why i have this ache and and and the question is this it's such a profound question he says teacher rabbi he says what good thing shall i do to obtain life or obtain eternal life it's a great question he's got this burning desire like what what is the ache in my heart can you can you scratch this itch because i'm trying all that i know to try and yet there's still a void there's still something missing and so here's his moment here's his day he's standing before god in the flesh and he releases this question what is it that i need to do to obtain eternal life and jewish thought eternal life is not duration it's not quantity it's quality in jewish life eternal life is a quality of life and i believe he knew there was more for him in his day and this burning question comes forth overflowing from his heart what is it that my heart is missing and jesus answers the question with a question it's a profound answer it's profound jesus says this he says why are you asking me why are you asking me about what is good there is only one who is good and then he plays this game if you wish to enter obey the commandments now jesus is going to take him to the end here and this isn't my sermon i'm just giving you thoughts as i come out of worship but jesus is going to take him through a series of like jewish obstacles and hurdles to get him to the answer that he stated in this verse and the answer is not found in the what the answer is found in the who oh get this what good thing must i do and jesus says why are you looking at the whats look at the who why are you asking me about the what there is only one who is good why are you asking me about the what there's only one who is good and many times what happens are the whats of life overshadow the who we're wanting the whats to be good in our life fill in the blank whatever that is and yet jesus is saying if you would stop looking at your whats and you would simply focus on the who the whats will follow jesus i'm going to keep preaching this so jesus i haven't i haven't done this in a while so um so jesus jesus is gonna play his game he's gonna go okay you wanna you wanna go with the whats um obey the commandments and so he he's like okay i am but what commandments exactly do you want me to obey so can you please define this very clearly for me because i've been attempting to do it i've been attempting to do all that i think i'm supposed to be doing and yet there's this ache still inside of me it's the epitome of a religious heart it's form no power it's it's symbols and relics but no substance it's people that can give you lip service but their hearts are far from the words that they're saying it's we can repeat things we can sing songs we can raise hands we can come to services and yet we withhold our hearts we withhold what's most important to him and it's i don't even think it's because some of us just don't know how but it's what he desires and it's what aaron was inviting us into it's like oh so look at this jesus plays the game it says obey the commandments which ones and then jesus is going to list off commandments this is profound you shall not murder commit adultery steal bear false witnesses you shall not i'm sorry i'm still stuck on those so murder adultery steal false witness so there's four and then the next one which this one's not i don't think this one's in the this sums up the law honor your father and mother and then love your neighbor as yourself so he lists off six different things he's supposed to do everyone see that here's what's amazing about the commandments he lifts off how many commandments are there there's ten but he only gives he really only gives i think it's five of the actual commandments he adds that love your neighbor as yourself but he he leaves off five he's diagnosing him with this question because you know the the five that he lists all have to do with man all of them have to do with relating to a brother or sister or to a somebody but do you know the five that he leaves off all have to do with god what's my point my point is that that's a lie filled with what it misses the who it's not about the whats it's about the who i bet he did all of those things really well and i bet his litmus for doing those things well were those that he was doing them around like i do it better than them i do it better than that person but there was this ache in his heart he was missing and he was missing this one thing that was answered in the question asked me what is good there's only one who is good and then keep going verse 20 check this out the young man's like i've done all these things what am i still lacking because he knew he had an eight i've done them all even if he had which probably hadn't but i've done all these things why is there still an eight verse 21 he was like goes after it sell everything give to the poor come and follow me it's a great invitation give everything up for the pursuit of the one and we know what the story is he leaves right why does he leave because he was wealthy keep going but when the young man heard this he went away grieving for he was one who owned much property is it bad to own property no this is bad if your property owns you um but but the disciples are discouraged they don't really understand this they think it's pretty harsh and so look at the next verse this is all like the appetizer keep going verse 24. again i say it's easier he went away sad did i miss that yeah truly truly i say to you it's hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven verse 24. again i say to you it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of god and when the disciples heard this they were astonished and they said then who can be saved and looking at them jesus said with people this is impossible but with god all things are possible in essence jesus says this because the disciples are they're confused they're like this is like the guy we want following us if you're telling him to leave everyone else needs to leave they're probably looking at themselves but the point is that jesus wasn't looking at any of them and and this last statement is the christian faith he says with this with people this is impossible with god all things are impossible so he here's the point is that if we stop looking at the whats and we focus on the who who knows what could happen let me say that again so if we focus on the who instead of the whats who knows what could happen meaning when when he becomes the one thing when he becomes the only thing when he becomes the singular focus of your life when it moves from a theory to an addiction when it moves from philosophy and words to a lifestyle when you start like moving things out of your life to make him the one thing when you stop focusing on the whats you stop adding to him and he becomes the one thing that aaron was talking about who knows what can happen in your life we've just got too many things surrounding jesus we've put constructs around him we've put these ideals around him like like if i follow jesus then if i follow jesus i'll get if i and that is not the promise if you follow jesus you get jesus and jesus is sufficient but until he's sufficient it's like those what start to creep in and compromise comes and you just live a nice cultural christian life and he died for so much more than that but we live in the epicenter of cultural christianity like we live in it we live in it go to go go to my friends in california go to my friends in europe go to my friends that live in other places and they the culture that we're surrounded with we're insulated and my concern is that we be neither hot nor cold that we'd be indifferent to invitations when he comes in the room and he knocks on his heart i don't really like care what you think of upper room i don't care necessarily that you get much out of this other than you leave here with a passion for jesus a hunger to know him more like a hunger to know him i don't care if you come to our church i don't care if you come in this room again if you're in here tonight my concern is that i confront you are you hungry for jesus are you hungry for him does your heart come alive when he enters the room is there that burn inside of you like on the road to emmaus is there that thing inside of you do you possess the fire that only he brings because in an area like dallas texas you can have words and you can do things and you can miss the fire and whoa are we to be pitied if that's our life if we're just punching our cards i don't mean to hurt your feelings but some of us need to get our feelings hurt some of us need the preacher to get up in our business like we need to we just need to live lives that line up to the songs that we sing that line up to the things that we think we believe we need lives that are radical and burning for this one and when the invitation comes across we've got to cross the line every time and say lord you're it you're it you're the one thing of my life you're the one burning thing like i think we've got to fight for simplicity in our lives complexities will drown him out jesus is not complex jesus is simple and he makes things simple so we just put your hands up for a little bit just for real quick just want to pray into this a little bit so lord i i don't want to be laid to see it lord there's a layout to see in spirit that like when i was in the room honestly i haven't felt this on sunday night in a long time but i felt there was a spirit of stupor i'm not saying everyone has it but i just feel like there's this this stupor like this this demonic kind of slime that insulates our hearts from really coming alive and responding rightly to the presence of jesus i'll i'll i'll deal with this tomorrow my life's okay i mean i can't wait to get home and have finished netflix or have a glass of wine or whatever it is that you insulate i feel like the lord's confronting compromise and he's saying i i want an undivided devoted heart to me god especially if you're young he wants your whole heart he doesn't want to share you if you're single especially a female in this room he doesn't want to share you your heart's precious to him he wants you to guard it oh he just says you're too easily swayed you're too easily allured if only you knew what i see when i look at you you're the apple of my eye you're my desire my zeal is for you i've set you and i love you so fathers pray that you would take a a branding iron of sorts and just pierce our hearts fresh and new god god that you would touch our hearts with the tongues from your altar lord that we would sense that burn father that's only found in your nearness that you would release a glory in this room a glory a tangible weighty fear of the lord a fear of the lord almost a dread lord of life without you lord what would it be like if we didn't have you god oh god we need you awaken the dead lord confront the sleeping father god we want to burn for you this city does not need another church it doesn't need another pretty service and sermon god it needs a bride that's awakening it needs a bride that's beholding her bridegroom king and so father i pray that you would sound an alarm in this room tonight that you would awaken hearts god that we could cross over the threshold lord that we could leave what we've known and enter in god enter in lord enter in deeper father to the chamber where we find you and we say set your fire upon me o god refine me as only you can lord i'm willing god i'm willing lord for you to refine me i'm willing for you to consume me oh jealous god set your zeal upon my heart oh there's more there's more there's more there's more there's more there's more oh there's more there's more there's more god oh in jeremiah 2 he rebukes them for forsaking the living water and digging cisterns that are broken god forgive us for our broken sisters release living water in this room tonight jesus oh we love you lord we love you god we love you jesus in a dry and weary land where there seemingly is no water god our soul thirsts for you jesus forgive us lord for our indifference forgive us lord where we've been indifferent towards you you know there's statistically i said this this morning but you know the next 30 years in our nation represent the largest missions opportunity ever in the history of america it's the largest and fastest numerical shift in religious affiliation in the history of our country some think that it could be the largest shift ever it's hard to prove this from people that profess they were christians and then they no longer consider themselves believers we're living in that hour right now in this nation it's this is the single largest generational loss of souls in the history who were nominally raised in the church and no longer call themselves follower of jesus this is not a gradual shift as in europe europe was secularized so fundamentally different because our shift isn't because of secularization but it's because of indifference the need is urgent because this is from an article the great opportunity i taught on this this morning it's a little prettier than it's going to be tonight this morning was really pretty it's really good really ordered structured moments of fire and laughter and just a good mixture of all tonight i feel like it's just going to be a freight train and a little intense listen i don't i'm not a professional preacher genuinely i mean that like i'm not i love preaching but i just i love preaching but it's after something different tonight so let's read a little bit more of this it's really a sobering article and it's why i'm just i'm confronted with my own apathy tonight maybe i'm preaching to myself and that's fine christian affiliation the u.s shrinks dramatically even in the most optimistic scenarios and in the base case like the lowest level over a million youth at least nominally in the church today will choose to leave each year for the next three decades it's 30 million young people so over a million young people every year that base canary represents children who are in sunday schools youth groups confirmation classes mission trips are saying that christ is no longer he with whom they choose to identify to put that number into context it's still it is larger it is larger to dramatically larger than the number of abortions that occur every year in america the discussion of sanctity of life is important and needs to be had in our society and many evangelicals and catholics are willing to pay a very high price politically and cultural costs to protect the unborn through advocacy and political and legal arenas yet the loss of youth to disaffiliation is even larger and fraught with deep theological and eternal consequences i'll give you some more um this is an article by my friend george otis um and this is specifically about gen z so gen z are you okay i know i'm like i just i feel like there's something the lord wants to impart to us it's his burden so is that peter is peter here oh that was weird um so listen to this social researchers this is george social researchers use two words to describe people who do not wish to associate with any religion unaffiliated aided and nuns whichever term is employed this group has consistently ranked as the most dynamic preference category in religious tracking surveys over the past couple decades or as one writer put it the fastest growing religion in america is no religion at all and the escalating divorce between american youth and religion centered around two emerging generations the younger millennials 20-28 today and gen z which is today's teens so gen z's are right around coming into 20 years old while both are leaving their mark on the nation's values and institutions it is gen z that's capturing the most attention this is because they're not only the youngest but also the largest generational grouping on the planet most research peg gen z size in the u.s at 65 million although some estimate it could run as high as 75 million the variance having to do with birth date used in various studies so anywhere from 65 79 million hear this according to the nelson data gen z already makes up more than a quarter of the u.s population and will soon account for 40 percent of the nation's consumers this means gen's ears will not simply influence culture they will be our culture here's what's interesting about this generation is it's the first post-christian generation in american history uh one in five teenagers now say attending church is important to them 60 reject the notion that there's a single true religion the percentage of self-identified atheist among gen zirs is double that of the u.s adult population there's a whole lot more that doesn't sound good that i could share with you this is interesting well i'll share this you know that most people uh choose the path of their faith like the convictions of their faith by the age of 25. latest usually 35 it's very rare that someone will get converted after 35 just it's our makeup and dna and so millennials are at the tail end of that so our window with millennial is closing quickly just statistically on this not that god can't do anything but jen's ears the windows just opening up and it's probably the the greatest window with the greatest you know percentage of population so this is what's interesting about gen z uh millennials embrace technology how many of you are millennials i love millennials so millennials you guys embrace technology but gen z raise your hand if you're a genzir all right my gen ears so gen z here's what's unique about you first time in the history of the world this generation you're not just embracing technology but you've been native to it so from the time you were little you've had a screen in front of your face to some extent and uh and so technology you're it's a great global experiment that you've been birthed into like what is technology going to do to uh to our makeup and it's an unintentional global experiment uh screens were placed in front of them at the youngest age pacifiers entertainers educational ads so this is uh this is a lady by the name of dr jean twinge she's a professor at psychology at san diego state university and she wrote a book called igen and there's some disturbing thoughts on this subject so follow me here am i are you with me this is cool okay um listen this around 2012 she this is a psychologist did research but around 2012 something started to go uh going wrong in the lives of teens so this is this is early teens gen z it was baffling i've been doing studies on generational differences for about 25 years twins told tedx audience in march 2018 so i got used to changes that would grow slowly and steadily over time but then around 2010 2011 i started to see some changes that were much more sudden and i had never seen anything like this 25 years psychologist during this five-year period 2010-2015 the number of american teens who felt useless and joyless surged 33 percent in large national surveys but especially troubling to dr twinge was the 31 percent jump in suicides among those that are 13 to 18. this is all within a five year period so after scouring several large surveys for clues twins and her colleagues found that all of the possible possibilities traced back to a major change in teens lives it was the sudden ascendance of the smartphone according to pew research smartphone ownership crossed 50 threshold in late 2012 right when teen depression and suicide began to increase by 2015 nearly three-quarters of teens had access to smartphones they're native to technology this is just what it's doing to their emotional health um but we're starting to see the cultural shift that's even taking place just what we're being indoctrinated by what we're learning on our phones what's my point my point in all of this is can we please break cultural christianity over our knee like can we please can we please see that what we're doing is not currently working and so when aaron stands up and says is he the one thing i'm confronted in my own heart am i just good at playing church i'm confronted with the statistics i'm confronted with the climate spiritually of our nation as a leader and like we can we have 120 people in the overflow room what's up glad you're here in a good mood i love you but i know it's intense um i was over there with him i shared with him some news that i haven't shared with you yet so we've got a secret between us then maybe i'll share with you if i can get out of this intense thing that i'm carrying but what am i saying we've got 120 people in the overflow room this room's full it's a demographic that says this is what we're supposed to reach but what typically what we do is we live in our bubble and we don't look outside of it and my hope is that our bubble can burst and that our hearts can be opened and be burned with what burns god's heart and all i know to do is to simplify things for us all i know to do is to not make it about you to not make it about us but to confront potential indifference and apathy and insulation that we have that we can admit maybe we're just culturally christians maybe we do church really well maybe we know how to sing songs dance dances and walk out the doors in our lives are not historically different than those who are encountering god forgive me i think i'm just confronted with my own heart and comparatively to a lot of my friends i'm probably a zealous maniac ah but i wanna burn for him man i wanna forsake food i want to wake up early and go to bed late i just want to know him in a deeper more profound way and i want to lead people that have that same hunger i pray you get married i pray you find the one you're looking for maybe at the upper room i pray you fulfill your destiny and you do all god's called you to do but i also pray that maybe you dabble your toe in the eternal purposes that he has for this hour and you get swept up and your life looks nothing like what you thought it would look like your life takes turns that you could not plan or orchestrate because the wave of his love and zeal you just were an empty laid down surrendered vessel and he said i'll use that he's not looking for gifted and pretty gifted and pretty has gotten us to where we're at we don't need gifts we don't need pretty people we've got a lot of gifted pretty people in this room i promise you he's not that impressed with your gift or your prettiness he's obsessed with his son and he's looking for people i just don't want to do church you know one of the diagnosis is in jeremiah if you have your bibles flip them open it seems like a sermon with this intro you better go to just the book of jeremiah let's just go there man i have so much joy in my heart as i'm getting intense i feel the pleasure of jesus you know the issue isn't necessarily in this room doesn't have to start with you but you may have inherited it and if we inherit problems from our fathers we have to deal with it just because it was on them doesn't mean that we don't take responsibility for it that's the purpose of generational like generational curse is your father can do something that affects your life what do you do you bring that thing to the cross because he became a curse on your behalf but you've got to take that thing to the cross identify with your father's sin break agreement with that line it up the family your family lineage with him and there's a blessing to a thousand generations but spiritually your father's father's fathers three generations up affect you today so if you had a great great grandfather was an adulterer it could affect you today if you're struggling with adultery if you're struggling with sexual immorality that can be a generational thing you can look at hereditary and dna and health issues you can see those things passed down in the natural the beauty is that jesus christ became a curse anything hung on a cross is accursed and so he broke the curse so that you then could bring your family under the blessing of jesus which is a powerful revelation but this scripture in jeremiah they had inherited something from their fathers and i i love my father's i'm not i'm not like pointing the finger at anyone i'm just saying like universally there's an issue i'm not pointing to this domination that denomination i'm just saying at some point i think our true north has gotten off and statistically i just read a bunch of stuff that would tell you that and in the book of jeremiah their true north had gotten off and jeremiah shows up unannounced unwanted they're like ripping their clothes covering their ears saying get him out of my presence i don't want to hear this man speak anymore because he's confronting their spiritual dullness he's confronting the indifference he's confronting the coldness of their heart and he starts out here and i just want to look at two issues that he points to two things that he points to and these two things i think we can point to in our day and these two things i think we can own tonight and the two things did not have to do with the people hearing what jeremiah was saying maybe it did maybe some of them were were in this category but a lot of them weren't so let me show you what i mean um jeremiah 2. uh he starts out in verse 1 and two and he's remembering he's remembering their love he's remembering the devotion that they had in their youth he's remembering at one time they were they were after the lord and then in verse 4 it says hear the word of the lord o house of jacob and all the families of the house of israel thus says the lord what injustice did your everyone read that word what injustice did your father's find in me so he's going to talk about he's going to talk about something the fathers did so fathers are an authoritative central figure of the family and he's going to start with the fathers and the waywardness of the father so he says what injustice did your fathers find in me that they went far from me so they went far from him and they walked after emptiness and they themselves became empty so they left the lord some reasoning they left him because of an injustice and then they started sinking seeking empty things and they themselves became empty and they stopped asking this question in verse six they did not say where is the lord they stopped asking that question fathers authoritative figures overseeing the family they stopped asking where is the lord so it starts with the fathers this is what it would look like where is the lord who brought us out of egypt he led us to the wilderness the land of deserts and pits through a land of drought and deep darkness through a land of that no one has crossed where no one has dwelt i brought you into a fruitful land to eat fruits and good things but you've defiled my land and then he's going to go to the next figure starts the father's second verse a he goes to the priest to the priest the priest they stop saying the same phrase that the father stop saying what is the phrase where is the lord those who handle the law they did not know me the rulers also transgressed against me prophets prophesied by baal walked after other things now here's my question is it did the fathers and the priests know that they were supposed to ask this question like it's diagnosis it's a diagnostic thing jeremiah's showing up as the prophet he's saying you stopped asking this question where is the lord you stopped asking where is he and you got off by not asking that question and you started pursuing other things now it says that they were still handling the law and they were still acting like fathers but from the lord's perspective they were off is everyone following me in this so the prophet comes forth and he diagnoses him and the diagnosis is so interesting where is the lord i think it's so amazing that that's a question that he did not hear these authoritative figures asking and i don't know practically what that meant i mean maybe they weren't observing the feasts maybe they they were just compromised and how they were handling the law i'm sure if we read in depth jeremiah we could point to several things but i know that this question where is the lord was something they stopped asking and so he's gonna keep prophesying he's gonna keep going through and he's gonna he's gonna talk about the things that they pursued it was specifically sexual immorality sexual immorality was something that plagued these people that were in rebellion sexual immorality if you are in sexual immorality tonight and i've pastored long enough to know that man this thing has potency it has power to take you out and it's usually a hidden thing that few know about but i want you to know that the lord sees it and the lord is not pleased with those that are sexually immoral i'm not saying that he's not i'm not saying that his pleasure is uh i'm not saying that you can't repent and him be pleasured in you but he is not happy that you're in that type of lifestyle and making those decisions sexual immorality is a sin sexual immorality is a sin and it's something that we need to confront it's something that we need to address yes is their mercy yes is there grace but mercy and grace will transform you as you encounter it and listen i was a leper i was in that colony for a long long time but what i'm seeing more and more in the church are people that are apathetic indifferent to the lord and they're living in sexual immorality and it is a concern to me are you broken over your immorality do you weep over it do you confess it to others it's such an easy thing to fall into in our hour it is a snare i have friends that were delivered in a moment but i have friends and i am a friend to those i'm one of them that the sanctification process was a journey i'm not trying to throw condemnation on anyone but i am saying that christ christ has provided all that you need to be free man if you're continuing to get up and you're continuing to confess sin you're continuing to keep your heart open to others and you're showing up here and you're in the fight i applaud you keep getting up keep fighting but my concern are those people that can come through these doors worship god not feel a conviction for of a question is he the only thing one thing and then tonight walk out as if life is just fine and you're going to click on what you've clicked on you're going to go to where you've gone to and you're going to live a secondary hidden life that maybe no one knows about but the lord does all right verse 15 flip over chapter chapter three he's speaking to israel and jude and he's calling them back he's already addressed the fathers the priests those are the true shepherds but but here's here's here's one of the most powerful promises restorative promises that jeremiah gives him early in the book because it's going to go south pretty quickly here yes it's going to go south pretty quickly here for a long time because they're going to go to babylonian captivity because of their immorality and faithlessness but in in chapter 3 verse 15 he he prophesized something and this is this is why i'm preaching what i'm preaching is because i'm really not after the masses tonight i'm not like in my heart when i'm preaching i'm not i'm not thinking about everyone in this room i'm thinking about probably five to ten people i'm looking for five to ten people that'll be gripped by what i'm saying tonight that's all i'm looking for like in my heart i'm thinking there's five or ten people they're going to line up with what i'm about to say maybe it's more than that but if it's five or ten i got a fighting shot i really plundering hell itself because listen i i believe like i started with the fathers and the priests oh i'm about to start going i feel the lord i started with the fathers and the priests because i think what i'm seeing with the indifference outside of these walls i'm just seeing a leadership crisis and a leadership issue and i'm i'm i'm a leader in the church so you're going to get you're going to get the pastor talking to pastors you're going to get the leader talking to leaders but but i i'm i'm convicted there's a leadership crisis it's happening in all spheres but there's also one happening in the church that that that those statistics that i read to you from uh i think it's pi pine top uh foundation did the great opportunity they wrote it out well they traveled the country asking uh protestant and catholic leaders uh in the next 30 years if they could like wave a wand and something change in the church what would it be now here's what all of them agreed all of them agreed that the church is in a gnarly place and something needs to happen but what was concerning for these guys doing research is how scattered all the answers were about what change looks like how scattered the answers were for what the church in america needs and that's concerning it's like it's like we know we're on the east coast and we need to get to the west coast but there's absolutely no map to get from here to there and that's concerning and to me that's a leadership issue it's a leadership crisis and i believe the soul of the church is sick because there's leaders that have been leading that have been sick and the 10 to 12 that i'm looking for in this room are i believe some leaders one of the callings of my life is to raise up pastors and leaders and i believe there's a few of you in here and you need to hear what i'm about to say because it's what god is doing to address the problem in the hour i just told you a bunch of statistics that like could overshadow a lot but i am not deterred or hopeless at all i'm sobered but i know that the lord has a plan and i know that the lord is orchestrating something in a remnant of people that are not indifferent and they're not cold to the lord but they're burning in zeal and passion and i think that there's a reformation that's going to come to the church that's going to look messy it's going to look like ah kind of void and formless but the lord's voice is in the midst of it and he's bringing forth order and he's going to do it by raising up a new breed of leaders by raising up a new breed of prophets and voices that's coming and i believe they're gathering in this room i believe it with all my heart listen i love the itinerant ministry i love guys that are traveling and preaching but i'm looking for builders i'm looking for those that will give their life to a local community and build healthy local vibrant communities that are marked by the presence of the lord i believe there's 10 or 12 in this room and they'll carry this heart chapter 3 verse 15. this is what i want to get to then then look at verse 14 he's talking eternal faithless sons for i'm your master i will take you from one city from family i will bring you design he's saying come back to me he's calling them home but look at what he says in in chapter 15 verse 15 then i will give you this is the lord the lord will give you shepherds that could be pastors leaders leaders that what they're after my own heart i will give you shepherds after my own heart i will give you i the lord will give you men shepherds women shepherdesses after my own heart so i'm going to raise up leaders that will be after me i'm going to raise up shepherds that will actually follow me i'm going to raise up leaders that are first and foremost those because they were following me i've made them shepherds and they're going to shepherd you to me think about the leaders he rebuked he rebuked those that weren't asking the question where is the lord meaning these shepherds that were leading weren't leading them to the lord they were leading them to something else empty pursuits i don't know what it was but i believe in this hour the lord is raising up a new breed of leaders that will lead people to the lord that will lead people to ask the question where is he look at the next verse this is the mark of these leaders i'm sorry i didn't want to go to 15 real quick these leaders will have knowledge and understanding the knowledge and understanding will lead to uh verse 16. check this out this sick this verse gets you it will be in those days what days the days that shepherds leading you will come after my heart in those days you'll be multiplied you'll increase in the land declares the lord and they will no longer say the ark of the covenant of the lord and it will not come to mind nor they will remember it nor will they miss it nor will it be made again what is the point the point is is that they will no longer reflect upon the good old days that the good old days will be today listen the ark of the covenant was just a box but it was a box that was representative of the presence of the lord it wasn't about the box it was about the presence and he's saying there will be a day where it won't be about the ark but it will be about the lord dwelling in the midst of my people you won't have to recall who i was because i am and i will be with you this is the mark of leaders that are burning after his own heart it's a mark that creates communities where people come inside and they go wow the lord is there the lord is present the lord's there you don't leave going i remember a gift i remember i remember an expression or a lesson or something you remember that he came you remember that the presence of jesus marked the place it's the delineation it's i believe what we've been missing i believe it's the answer i think what jeremiah was saying is the ark was a symbol but you can have a symbol and not have substance and and my concern in dallas texas is that we have symbols but no substance is that we have relics but no power need the substance um man i had i had a little more i wanted to share tonight but i'm just really sobered by by what the invitation i sent personally from the lord maybe this whole thing was just for me you know i think the upper room is crossing over as a community i i am seeing currently in the season him him direct us in ways that is really significant um and and i think what i've just been talking about being gripped by man is he present is his like leadership and him resting and it's to me it's it's it's where we're heading um and as we go there there's some things that he's highlighted and i mentioned this in depth today uh about about things he's highlighting right now um but how can i say this it's like a lot of us we we live pretty uh pretty pretty self we're aware of us right we should be um but i i feel like the lord is taking us outside of ourselves and he's pulling us up higher so that we can see not only beyond like this room but i believe he's speaking about the next 10 years potentially the next 20 years potentially the next 50 years i believe even some of the things are so significant they could lead to impacting the next generation i sense an invitation from the lord to really have an impact upon nations i could give you some history of how that's come about i could share some things that have happened very specifically over the last couple of days and and my my invitation for us even tonight and what i'm sharing is that we get over ourselves that there's this there's this there's this larger thing that the lord is doing that he's inviting us collectively into as a body but also as individuals to step into it's like i've used this analogy this morning but my wife and i went to whole foods several years ago and i actually think i say whole foods every time i think it was central market i love central market you like central market it's the promised land like you walk around and they've got they've got like fruits and berries and nuts and you just eat them as you shop you know every sample you've got to eat it and so uh but but you know the the the grocery store it's it's kind of like this to get through it there's not like rose and aisles it's like a maze have you been in a grocery store like that so i was i was with larissa and we were we were having a date night there and we went up to have uh uh dinner on top of the mezzamine that was it was quite the night for us go to whole foods or central market anyways we're up there eating and um and like you could see the entire store you could see it from how they designed it so like you go and buy the cheese and fruit and vegetables and bread and you just see how it's all lined out and uh and as i was looking at i was like honey this is a great thing because this is how i view life for the most part like i view it from a high level seeing the end from the beginning and how it all comes together and larissa was like um she goes oh that's that says a lot that's that's why we are like totally different because i'm like the olive guy there was this guy on the olive jar aisle and he had two olive jars he's looking at him trying to figure out what jar of olives to take and uh and she goes that's how i view life i just see kind of what's in front of me you know like i'm very practical very like there's olives i'm on the olive aisle and i like to know like where the olives fit in the broader thing so um i don't know if you're an olive person or if you're a mezza mean kind of big oversight person but for me uh i'm an overview and recently the lord's just been really really hitting us with with these big kind of overarching words one of them's women we talked thoroughly about that but we're going to start focusing on really empowering women it's not just about correcting something that's been off and not right within the church although i think that's a part of it but i really feel like in the coming days we need what's within women that it's going to be mandatory that their voices it's going to be mandatory that they're gifting shine and actually at the forefront to lead initiatives for the kingdom and so i i laid that out this morning you can listen to the message we'll put this morning's message on but uh it's through wailing and warring there's two women specifically that the lord used and highlighted wailing and warring women are going to emerge wailing and warring women will emerge um the second thing is israel uh the nation of israel the the the land of israel and then the city of jerusalem i do believe that the lord is not only putting jerusalem on our heart but i think it will be a part of the mission in the mandate of upper room i wouldn't be surprised that someday if we have some type of property building training center there it is so apparent to me who he's connected us with and things that he's speaking about the hebrew people and the significance of them not only for us as a community but for christians as a whole we've got to get rooted we've got to get informed in the scriptures about the purpose of israel in the end times we must stand with israel we must stand with the jewish people uh yeah i i i am i'm just convicted anti-semitism is going to only increase in the days ahead uh and we need to be aware of how to rightly respond when it does um they will be the most persecuted people uh in the in the in the years ahead but the church will stand with yeshua's brothers and sisters and so um we're gonna we're gonna dive deep in that that's why rabbi jason i think is so so key um and and i wanted to share that if you haven't listened to much um i know it's getting late but hear this uh last thing um when i was in israel i i went last year for the first time i didn't want to go um larissa like said you're going and so i went any time your wife says you're going somewhere you go and um and it changed my life like dramatically changed my life and uh when i got back i had a dream i mean i was profoundly impacted by israel i cannot tell you uh how deeply spiritual it was um to see what i saw and it was just something i'm i can't fully even explain tonight in that i got home and i had a dream about alyssa smith alyssa is a worship leader that many of you know and in the dream alyssa was standing at the window of my house it was my house big house i think it represented the upper room she was looking out the window and she saw some leaves in our yard those leaves had died and i could hear the uh alyssa's thoughts alyssa was saying um i miss uh she was grieving and she was grieving that the leaves because the leaves represented a season of former beauty but they had fallen died and she was collecting so she was grieved another season had to come something had to change and i was so excited when i drove up to my house to talk to alyssa and i ran inside and i said elissa i need to tell you about my trip to jerusalem and what i got in israel and she said well what did you get and i pulled up my sleeve and i had a tattoo and the tattoo was a tree of life on my arm and i said elissa in this land the trees neither wither nor fade and i knew it was so important to take our levitical hearts guys up here our mandate's real simple pray minister to the lord to take them to israel and get them rooted in the land and so i got back in january i was in israel a year ago last week i took elissa joel and autumn williams who oversees our music label and global and all that stuff so we went the four of us because rabbi was having a trip i don't know why i'm over there i just know i had a dream i'm pursuing what i feel like is a purpose that the lord's placed before me this is how he works i'm over there walking the streets alyssa joel they're all really really touched it was a profound time to talk a long time about it but i share all that story to share this one story is when i was in jerusalem i was walking in the old city if you ever been to the old city very very very tight walkways tons of people marketplaces places to eat it's like really really a cool area and so as i'm walking um with rabbi jason's group didn't know the group they had been on a multi-day tour we just kind of connected with him this day there's a guy that's on tour with jason we're walking talking neat guy i'm like hey where you from he goes i'm from dallas oh really i'm from dallas where are you from in dallas he goes i live in the design district i know the design district no one lives in the design district you know we're like having those conversations people going by he goes well i do i live in the design just i was like well i plant a church in the uh i pastor a church in the design district no way where blah blah blah we start talking he says well tell me about your building i tell about the building i'm like man we are packed and i said what do you he goes well that's interesting because i'm a commercial real estate developer and i develop real estate all throughout the design district no one knows property in downtown like me and i'm like well i need to know you you know like oh my gosh we need a property so um covet hit things happen i finally connected our guys with him uh end of last year as uh as they start meeting with him oh another thing when we were in israel he said not only am i commercial real estate but i have a piece of land that i think you'll really really like i think it's made for a church and so um fast forward end of last year he takes our guys to this land this land's really really expensive uh a long build for us we just don't have that kind of time and so i'm like that's cool i would love to build on that long term but we need something like a little quicker than that and so um long story short he took my guys a couple weeks ago to some property just south of downtown we walked it this week as first time i'd seen it walked with my executive team as we walked it it was so apparent that this is the building that the lord has for us and the property that he has for us it's amazing so i know so i put a uh i put i put earnest money on this building we we are in the process of purchasing a building um south of downtown we need you to pray because we need to figure out the parking um there's some there's a lot of parking down there we just need to make parking agreements with the people that we can use it on sunday it would be three times the space that we have here we would walk into this building this is just how god moves we would walk into this building with 750 000 in equity which a lot of you all may or may not know that he's looking around a bunch of millennials is that good that's very good um that's a lot of money uh and uh and so i i also think the land is still a part of this too so i think we're looking at a building and potentially raising funds for land that we would ultimately build on as well but i feel as we've been talking about the next decade of things women israel the nations which we talked just through nations and generations that's where we started but women israel nations and generations as we're tapping into this giving our heart over to the lord the lord unlocks a building my point is that when we start to look beyond ourselves and at the things god's doing things start to align up like i'm in i'm in israel for crying out loud why did i need to go to israel to meet this real estate developer i could have gone to ascension coffee and like bumped into him like what's up bro and uh he's like i don't know what's up with you i'm a pastor what do you do i'm commercial real estate i need a church building oh i got a place for you and that would have been a lot easier than flying me thousands of miles to israel it makes no sense it makes absolutely no sense the story that i just told you but in god's kingdom it makes perfect sense because i was giving myself over to something that i couldn't fully understand i fully couldn't comprehend but as i start to give myself over to purposes that aren't about me bigger than me beyond me all of a sudden he goes hey here's a commercial real estate developer hey here's some land just outside of downtown dallas hey here's a building with 750 000 equity i got that because i went to israel what's my point we got to get over ourselves we got to get into what god is doing give ourselves holy and fully to it and all of a sudden the what's bow to the who and who knows what can happen and the lord gives you property that you could walk into day one with 750 000 in equity someone should do a happy dance that's happy dance worthy all right i'm gonna call the ministry team up and if you need prayer would you come and get it if you need prayer these guys will pray for you if you're in the overflow room gonna send some guys over they're gonna pray for you uh what's up hey i love you i know i was intense tonight um i don't apologize i really don't i'm not apologizing but i i do want you to do this listen i just i can we please just break cultural christianity over our knees can we like tonight's not about tonight tonight's not about a pretty service tonight's about enlisting you into an army and man if you're one of those leaders i felt in my heart there were 10 of them bury yourself in the soil over time the giftings on your life will emerge and we will see you but you're not just going to walk up to me and go i'm one of the 10. sign me up where do i sign up for that there's not an application for it there's a voice that leads you to it and he will direct you it's not up to me to even acknowledge it it's up to you to bury yourself in soil and watch what the lord does this isn't about you me or anyone it's about him and him alone he is good he is more than able he is more than capable of meeting every need in this room tonight and so if you have anything you need pray for come and receive it from them if not and you're single meet someone it's worth a shot because you're focused on the who who knows what could happen tonight we love you thank you for coming to the upper room god bless you you
