hey Coke and Pepsi are you guys doing this morning oh hey good morning guys today is Monday August I can't remember August 19th today Oh boys so anyways I so how's everybody doing today I hope everybody had a good weekend we got we got some more rain Saturday evening got about almost a half an inch not quite but yes so things got wet again and and my cousin's alright one cousin actually two of my older cousins they came and got the hay rack yeah yeah they got it all decorated up and they put it in the Hortonville corn fest parade the class of 1979 so yeah maybe I'll hero picture a picture in of it so you guys can see what it looks like you and yeah so yeah the weekend was pretty good I didn't get to go to the Swift County Fair or I didn't I didn't go to the parade either just didn't work out and yeah so what do we have going on around here today I'm just getting some stuff wait up why my brother he's bringing the the milk cows back in the pasture here this morning and then the milk tester he is here this morning he just called us up it was just like last night last evening he contacted Austin basically wanted to you uh wondering if you wanted a test milk and I guess he said yeah so it was kind of a last-minute thing so I said one thing we're doing this morning and then we oh we got to get ready for okay we gotta get ready for combat I know what this week I'm actually here today I gotta get that swath or going here and well we got to move some stuff run on the shed because my first cousin the one that was helping that always helps was chop um hey he wants to use our swather flora i'm swathing his oh it's down because it's got a human real on it thinking you know he's got his oh it's went down kind of bad and so he wants that so we got to get going here so and yeah so he's gonna come over I don't around 11:00 this morning and then he's gonna help either milk why I go out and get the swather going then we gotta move a bunch of stuff out of the shed we gotta get the car might out but here dad is my cousin he's older kind of weedy - so you want us to let them dry out for a while so depending on what the rain does here so anyways we're gonna work at that stuff here today and and no I did not have an opportunity to look at that tractor yet it's still I just didn't get time this weekend to look at it and so and I know people are probably wondering about that cow last week that got toxic mastitis the cow didn't make it actually we just had the cow euthanized put down euthanize whatever word you want to use so the toxin was just kidding so bad in her system that it was actually I know it was just actually paralyzing starting to paralyze her muscles and she was just suffering so we thought it'd be this best if she was euthanized and put down and just she was gonna get any better and no I mean so it was something it wasn't easy to have done but we had we had to do it so it so yes unfortunately we did lose the cow and we did everything that we knew how to do to treat the cow for it she just like you say that it just it just came on so fast usually when a cow gets toxic mastitis you don't really know it unless you like as soon as she got raped you know P small it's time you assume they get regular mastitis and so you treat it like it's a normal case of mastitis well you don't always know it's going to turn into toxic mastitis to tell the cow obviously doesn't get up all the sudden then you know they have unless you take a sample and get it tested right away and culture it and you can find out what kind of bacteria it is but yeah so it's now so I just want everybody know we tried everything in our power to save that cow we that's something we take light hearted something that we you know we were very very weren't happy about that it happened so but so yeah just so everybody knows that's what happened to us now and like you saying we tried is this very frustrating but but anyways I gotta keep going here with stuff here so we can keep the the milk test trigger guy moving here and we'll see how the day goes see what we get done and go from there so don't catchers are ready to go so we're gonna get started milking here a little bit and guys in there they're looking at the bar station system wait some parts in there so working at the feeding here just about done though those guys got to replace all the some puts the parts and all those little stall up there and the next thing is to go get the swamp they're going to after I get down with this keep plugging away okay I'm finally out here we're gonna put that whatever that power module thing no these are the spark plugs spark plug wires on there this doohickey power module thingy yep this thing here I gotta put that on there so but first I got to get the other one off yes I was gonna do this last year but for some reason lastra came and went and had never gotten done so here it is this year in it still hasn't done so the only way oh wait oh it's a tight squeeze in here I thought there was I thought there was more room in here than what there originally was yeah so I think what I'm gonna do here is take a picture of this stuff here before I take anything apart so that way I know exactly how it goes back together so that's what I do if I can get my phone out of my pocket to do it here hmm take the one with the flash in let's get a better shot here dick so let's see here you know these spark plug wires off do it one by one and this thing I think this all comes off in one shot here comes unplugged something huh oh there's a screw in there so well yeah I mean yeah I'll get this thing off here and we'll get it running because that power module is shot so won't start [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] come on there okay everybody you can see we got this thing going finally and for the AC and the way up for the art here so I'm gonna set you guys we replaced some guards on their own section breathes it up gonna take it ready I figured I just tried the air again will do I'll get this thing you know [Music] look out semester oh there it is so he my cousin he's going to take and go swallow starts with his oats down hopefully you don't get stuck with it and we got the AC working in there everything's done blew out the radiator blow out hydraulic oil cooler the condenser air fell both the air filter and cam filter it's greased up the chains oiled up it's ready to go so whoo that was a project in itself so I got to grab a bite to eat here I don't know if we're gonna get to come out today probably after 6 o'clock I could eat I think I might just use my remaining time here and just see if I can work on that pony engine and see if I get that see for sure if that coils burnt down in there cuz I'm getting tired and starting that thing so anyways I'm gonna grab a bite to eat and then work on that well maybe I'll see maybe I'll get the combine up here I'll see I don't think it's supposed to rain or anything so I need to get that thing greased up I need to get all the stuff switched over on and need to switch it from corn the small grain so yeah what do you think Sylvester what do you think yeah oh that cat Sylvester has the light that's for sure anyways when I got a bite to eat and then I'll get back with you here and after a little bit okay well I was gonna work on this thing here but I thought I had which yeah I removed when I got back right here no way this is where the fuel gauge goes all right here there used to be those turn switches this is obviously I put the light switch here I eliminated it or that switch that's supposed to be here and I bought a temporary or not a temporary but I bought her another switch that I put here to turn on the the coils the juice and the juice the coils and and to turn it over and yeah so anyways I thought I had a switch for that and I don't but that's the wonderful this is the one here it burned out so you got to get a new one so yeah I took off the original such a long time ago I know it had a resistor on there but I know I just took that resistor off I know my neighbor guy said he did that with his too and he was pretty good with working on these and he said he just took off as a resistor because he didn't really need it place that's what he he claimed so I don't really know I really don't know the coil like a power surge or something that's what it's on there for but so anyways I was gonna have to wait for another day too well here's how yeah so I'm a quick do one more job here's our choice I head out to the shed machine shed and well aqua here just a little bit okay now okay wait I need to vent vacuum is drill out here quick because yeah there's still some stuff in here for the spring the oats are pretty much gone but you get this falfa seed in the last so it's vacuumed out of here and tomorrow we're gonna pull this bad boy out and get working on it get its all switched over just the typical things you got to do is set the sieve put the concave and then we gotta pull the feed roll drum has to be set down a stone ejection roller has to be set down and yeah oh yeah in the back and the back of the combine - I gotta set the I got it set the chopper we've got to be put on the path to speed for a chaplain strong oh I don't know I mean maybe guy doesn't have to set the chopper up at a faster speed but I don't know I don't know some guys okay oh I won't do a good enough job chopping and stuff and then we got a chain take the modules out and put the small the wires in there for the small grain so yeah a lot of stuff to get ready check all the fluids yeah if you're a great farmer who probably had this done a long time ago but we don't when you milk cows it's usually kind of the last thing to do but yeah so I'm gonna get that vacuum out and yeah and we got some more engine oil here too that's that that's the old jug we bought some this royal oil tried hydraulic oil so it was a little bit cheaper cheaper than the Schafer's and it's still pretty good oil it's still better than it was a foreign-language turn it's way better than John Deere's oil and so but the Schafer's oil is just too expensive right now I like the oil it's a good oil but it's just too expensive and this is pretty comparable this is very comparable to Schafer's oil so okay I'm all done with the drill pull this out and then we will write the combine out and start working on it hopefully by Wednesday maybe Wednesday for sure there is the hopefully start combining oh oh I feel like I'm not ready for it but I don't know I just maybe because it's so late this year we're so far behind because of the weather so I just said just I don't just feel like I'm like it's motivated as I am most years to do it but just because we're behind but I guess we'll get there yeah it's been a long day so we got a lot done today we got I would did milk test and got that all the way at least got that swather going always takes a little bit longer than you think but yeah it runs good now we replace the power module the refrigeration guy charged up the system so cool good in there so it's good to go so and off eventually back to and equipment back in and I'll holla you guys can see that or not but yeah you can see it and my cousin he just brought over his trailer he about the skid loader or gonna he was gonna take that back yet I don't know if he's going to come back yet tonight and get it or not but he just took his father yes so yep I just want to get done with harvest oh it's harvest anyways then we'll have to get the cowboy and all set again for soybeans and do it again for car and oh we'll get there so anyways guys I got a wrong we're gonna get I got to get started with chore this for so long so anyways please like rate comment and subscribe
