Getting 3 STARS on a Mini-Island!

using a modded switch I made an island about a fourth of the size of a normal island with the intention of seeing if I could make a three-star Island in spite of my limited space well why not 5 Stars you may ask well my theory is that five stars simply is not possible given that we only have three acres to work with as opposed to the regular islands that have 20. so given our limited area to work with I think that three is a much more reasonable and achievable goal while also being a significant landmark in the game here we go playing on a spicy switch it might be a little spicy yeah welcome to Tiny PP population three myself Billy and Plucky the start of this game will be mostly the same with our first task being to gather 5 000 miles to pay off our first debt a quick way of doing that and contributing towards three stars is to donate five creatures and put the museum down a good thing about a small island is that weeding is much much easier I'm gonna pick up all these weeds and I'm gonna have the entire Island weeded in like 10 minutes maybe I'm also looking behind the trees to see if I missed any let's find more flowers we're definitely gonna need more of those all right how many weeds was that anyway it's like 209 207 technically can I get this thing 360 no scope from behind the tree so that's enough miles now and we'll drop off our excess bugs outside the museum for donating later getting the museum upgraded from a 10 to well a museum will help a lot for star rating and getting our home upgraded will allow us to progress the game oh I don't think he's allowed to wash up on there all right I've never seen him wash up on the secret Beach I mean I guess I'll help Gulliver I don't really see why not he can give me something cool to decorate with next order of business is getting a shop built which isn't too much different on a small island except the fact that we have a lot less trees to harvest wood from resource gathering in general will be an issue given how little room we have to work with so we'll hope to get a nice decoration piece for the island from Gulliver tomorrow and a quick look at our Pocket shows that we still need a little bit of everything for the shop let's start with wood I don't miss homework not at all it's definitely a bit of a wow all right really good beehives just School career is this man come on but you know what I can do is I can at least probably get the iron knocked out by going to a Nook miles Island what I should do is maybe Shake uh something down from the trees and get some point make sure I should be doing that on my Island considering how few trees I have I could probably easily get two pieces of furniture Every Day background oh Ellie oh I like Ellie all right so I have enough soft wood I almost have enough regular wood and I almost have enough iron one more milk bottle stick and I'd probably be able to get enough of everything I need a little bit more hardwood but I do have enough I just need iron now which I should be able to get enough though we got a couple pieces of furniture for finishing the shop so we'll put that down and we'll time travel to tomorrow where we can start working on getting more villagers moved into the island ideally we'll want to fit the maximum amount of villagers on the island that being 10 but we don't have to at least eight should do from what I was told it's all a matter of whether or not we can squeeze enough plots into this island if you were to like take like a character creator in a video game and you put all the sliders to like the medium setting you'd probably get me I got a turban I was hoping for a piece of furniture that I could put down but maybe if maybe a turban does count as like some sort of special furniture that would give me more points I don't know so Gulliver didn't help us much but on the bright side I have been collecting fossils over the course of the last few in-game days and we're ready to give those to blathers not to keep no no but rather to use on our Island for decoration you know sometimes folks ask me oh king of AC and H how does Buddha poor soul like me achieve three stars the answer my friend is fossils instead of donating them right away put them down outside it's easy star rating and you can donate them after you've hit your goal looks ugly but you know who cares Billy and Plucky now have houses as well and Tom Nook wants us to build a bridge what do you mean there's no River foreign to place a bridge you need the river to be just the right width oh shut the up so yeah I think that's probably as far as we can go today that's probably as far as we can go today I might need to do a little modifications here a little bit of tweaking and our river is now fit for a bridge meaning that we can now put down one two and three housing plots then how the hell am I gonna get like Eight houses here ideally I try to squeeze them onto the beach to maximize the amount of room on the grass mostly to grow a bunch of flowers later and of course we need to furnish these plots with resources from our very resource deprived Island stop watching the stream and find love no no no please sit please don't listen to the saxophone please please keep watching stream no you're you're not lonely right and then Rose wreath so this is gonna be tricky since we didn't start with flowers on our Island um I'm gonna have to grow the Roses myself which might take a lot of time traveling to get all the different colors of roses that I need I could go to an island okay so luckily my nukemiah island did give me roses so I yeah okay that's good so I don't have to bother collecting them from well growing them myself I guess that's good complications aside we get all three houses furnished and get three more villagers moved in oh who took this house oh yeah I guess this is a bad part of having a tiny island is uh is that you're not gonna get many balloons huh yeah it is Punchy all right hell yeah along with Ellie that we found earlier we've now squeezed five villagers on this island so to update you we've built the museum shop five houses and resident services is now upgrading we've got a lot of dinosaurs not very many trees and not very many flowers and now we gotta build the campsite as part of project k this is the spot ew ew oh [Music] nasty and you have to take them as well I mean look there's worse out there man but like oh boy that's not exactly um it's not exactly who I was hoping to see we put down Graham's plot and get plots 7 8 9 and 10 placed down those get filled up by bubbles ew Pee-Wee eh so lay and Jacob you're ugly you are disgusting active Island resident 20 days of playing let's go I held off checking my star rating until I got all 10 villagers moved in simply because I wanted to have as many villages as possible for a better score and our first score is zero star and a two stars hey that's not bad dude that's not bad two stars is very positive obviously we wanted three but this does show me that getting to three is completely doable initially my concern was that we literally do not have enough space for a mixture of furniture flowers trees and houses to get three stars it makes you wonder if the game only takes into account the very little space that we have to work with when it calculates our star rating like yes we don't have a lot of furniture but we also are working with a much smaller area so maybe the rating takes that into account I doubt it but anyway Isabelle does what she does best and asks for a ton of flowers on the island just throw them down all over who cares you know I get a lot of people asking me oh Bastion of acnh knowledge how do I get three stars on my Island the answer by inquisitive follower is flowers you might think that there's some like I don't know hidden strategy or secret that I use but no just as on a regular Island it seems like the solution to getting three stars on a tiny island is also just flowers let's go that's just a really weird noise I made it's really embarrassing I have to include that in the YouTube video and there you go as it turns out getting three stars on a tiny island is possible and not done all that differently than on a regular Island that being said if there's other challenges you can think that can be made more interesting on this tiny little PP Island then
