yo what's going on everyone so this is circling around the internet just came out about an hour ago from my boys at Collider I put the link to the real the real video down in the description so you can check them out we've never really seen a deep fake with George Lucas I know they're all the crazies right now so I'm I watched like about 30 seconds of this and I was laughing my head off so I figured yeah you don't want to just react to it with chat and see what you guys say so let's go uh-huh do we have is this the background that we're gonna use is there a way we can do like a green screen we bring in a green screen there Jimmy they just follows me around the green screen yeah I mean I've reacted certainly oh I've reacted at these but never never like this before like you just know George has seen the trailer already and I just I I would pay why wouldn't it wouldn't matter to him but I would pay everything I have to just see what his reaction was what his true reaction was thing as it's time to put this to bed yeah I know the ending of this film I'm gonna spoil it for you spoiler alert here's how the film ends already at the very end Star Wars dies and I think my favorite part about the trailer was the beginning when it said my name so the Lucasfilm you know the whole idea the hero's journey was you have someone who is leaving home for the first time into a new world and they don't have any skills then they fail time and again and I guess in the new series they've rewritten the hero's journey to where the hero is already perfect that you know flying spaceships and attacking the enemy and wielding a lightsaber and ultimately learns how to levitate not just one stone but like thirty of them which is helpful because then the crystal foxes can escape the cavern I mean you see what I mean it's just it's it's absolutely yeah at this point people have asked me if I would like to do more star wars a that was really deeply hurt by the fan response to the prequels you know when those movies came out they were very risky for me because they were more operatic they were they were more tone poems it wasn't about dialogue or acting or logic or a reason or any semblance of traditional filmmaking in in any way that we've ever known it since the beginning of cinema and the fact that people for some reason didn't like that was very upsetting to me so I don't know about that but I'm out so I think with this film Star Wars has officially died but I am still here well that was pretty morose at the very end there Hey look my video that was pretty morose at the very end I didn't I didn't agree with laga will end but it was funny meant the the whole oh my god the Droid part that's good that's good laughs how you guys doing hope you're doing well it's chats before I end the stream here howl air hey man so what is deep fake okay deep fake is basically just type it on YouTube it's basically where they it's a computer algorithm I don't really know how to explain it very well I'm gonna try to sound smart so the computer algorithm where they take the face of an actor and then they take all the different positions of that face of that actor in in different movies and pictures whatever and then they try to morph it onto someone who looks similar or someone else so you can see different defects out there which it's actually kind of a scary technology because they can perfect it to the point where it looks so real that you won't really know if this is the real person or it's just fake it's a deep fake so that's the dangerous part of it I would say but for comedy purposes like this I think is pretty funny so this popped up and the actor who did George his name is Josh Robert Thompson so he's actually quite so that actually we did that was pretty spot-on pretty good loop theory says that's obviously not George Lucas yeah hundred percent that's why it in the title is called deep fake reaction so I hope you laughed I thought I was praying for it I would love to know what he actually thinks well I guess now we know what he actually thinks about the sequel trilogy or at least about Episode seven but I would like to know what he's gonna think about Episode nine you know with Palpatine coming back because he was on board for Episode nine so he was a you think he's credited as a possibly a writer or something I heard I don't know
