GEOMETRY DASH IN GEOMETRY DASH

this is geometry dash i know it's really hard to believe but what if i told you that a creator named gd vesuvius made geometry dash in geometry dash people have been doing some crazy thing with a level editor recently like sputnik has made an entire programming language and there are a bunch of crazy auto levels but this one just kind of stuck out to me because using all of the power in the editor this creator just made the game i did a little bit of this on stream i got requested it and then i was like oh i want to go back and actually play this on recording because i just think it's so interesting all that i know is that it's geometry edition geometry dash so we may as well just give it a try [Music] okay there's like a lot of information here 60 fps recommended led for devices enable force smooth always limit control huh right two stars that happen oh how do where's always limit controls is that like back here always limit controls on what does that even do i don't understand what that means my brain's too small for this stuff okay this should be enough there so i realized that this is super broken because my font is just not pusable okay i fixed it and honestly it just looks so weird i forgot that it looks like this i'm not used to this at all it looks so wide [Music] all right player one to swap the grid in player two to change the number okay well i don't have the number yet so oh boy okay so it's like a whole computer basically to change my direction and use the mouse it's player one which is my spacebar and then to click stuff oh no i didn't mean to do that oh god oh boy out save and exit it's not gonna be save and exit because there's like nothing to save or well i might as well just like build um there's blocks it's broken is it broken because of the never always limit controls thing okay let's try this again first i'm going to want to change my icons actually there's only three options i can't really blame that at all this is a geometry dash level different chips and stuff too different ufo oh i can't use the white colors yet man could get sort of close to my regular icon set if i had that for now though i'll just be like fancy pink and yellow because that's not the default color basically okay so the levels vesuvius special rub top games 2.2 win and coming never wait so if i click on the coin do i get a coin yeah let's go i'm gonna try vesuvius special okay so i play with player two yeah this literally just is geometry dash but in george look it's a little progress bar and everything look at the ship go [Music] oh i got a coin i didn't even intend to it's kind of crazy i mean it's it's saved the colors that i wanted there's even like a trail that's the color of my secondary color here look at that all right well i unlocked the icon i'm gonna equip that icon now okay i'll keep my colors them where actually am i in the level i turned off progress bar only 19 wow they give you a lot of time to play this don't they all right what happens if i click on the profile icon oh it's like actually statistics about you that is crazy two stars three coins 13 jumps one death and apparently i'm an elder mod i guess vesuvius is another mod but i also am vesuvius so okay let's put a level called rob top games [Music] got one coin i need to go back into the other one and get the coin there because i didn't oh my god [Music] please don't do this to me okay i'm just not gonna get this coin no wait i actually i think i have a strategy [Music] right there we go nice nice i like that icon that's a cool one awesome 2.2 win here we go oh my god already i've already died it's been oh my gosh please can i please pass the first jump step is moving it just like randomly like yeah that what is that all right i got 50 oh that's how you get the colors okay [Music] i probably missed a coin no i got it let's go [Music] this level's kind of jumping around weird like it just kind of shifts to the left and to the right randomly i'm assuming that's just the fault of the fact that you know this is a very difficult thing to code and geometry dash is necessarily the most optimized thing of all time i can't touch the ceiling now i'm like afraid i'm like afraid to touch the ceiling because i died when i did that last time oh it didn't kill me this time there's a bug let's go oh my god i've forgotten that the gravity is so different nice what do i get for this nothing okay it's fine i'll take it it's whatever it's okay it's fine i'm not gonna mold ten coins how many coins do i have what's the chest is that like a daily chest or something oh i got the white color let's go i don't know if that's the one that i wanted though because it's player color one and i use it for player color too but hey so pretty solid you know it's close enough if i just make this grain you know what that's okay we will take that how many coins do i have because i don't yet have enough uh to unlock the demon level yeah nine i should get one more okay i think the one that i need to get is the one from the first level that i missed yeah there we go some coins oh i got a ufo let's go i'm finally not gonna need the default one okay let's see what the 10 star lock is it's a door what's in the door oh it's like there's a whole gauntlet oh my god okay holy crap that's awesome what confu what concerns concerns and confuses me is the fact that i saw a demon level at the end i don't know how a demon level in this like re-engineering of gd would would function i mean i'm obviously so used to playing gd the normal way you get so used to the physics and stuff it'll be interesting too because they'll only be allowed to use three game modes awesome good for me onto a three-star hopefully i'll be able to beat the three star if i can't i have no hope for the demon [Music] what so that's what i mean that jump was so easy like normally if i was playing this normally i would have been able to do that everything is so different i tried to buffer i tried to buffer click you can't buffer click on this of course you can't what what is wrong with me why can i not do that i'm gonna try falling and then hitting it okay apparently you've fallen hit okay well considering how long it took me to beat the three star it might take me a while for all these other ones nice oh those spikes just kill you like you can't just fall off okay i wish there was practice mode because the more that i play these like easier-ish ones i get very worried for the end of this gauntlet i know that i keep saying that but i am genuinely very concerned [Music] all right there we go it's like a six star or something oh my time's run out okay one eight eight four eight three one eight eight four eight three okay yes has it saved okay saved the general stuff because i can't save like all the detailed stuff i'm sure it didn't save my icon set but honestly i can't i feel like that would be like a very big ask i wonder if it's saved that i beat that level at the very end okay it did good i i clutched that if i had like died one more time i wouldn't have been able to finish it in time so i'm going to the eight star now [Music] nice can i hold no i can't you can't hold the jump oh i did that like second or first try what how many times did that take me two yes i can try okay good good good good i have a little bit more hope for this even though it's terrifying i kind of it's kind of a funny looking demon face i really like it okay i'm ready [Music] no i'm not [Music] yeah all like the the gravity and stuff is just so different so like something like this where i would normally click is just not where you're actually supposed to yo that really didn't actually take me that long i just died a bunch to the ship at the beginning and then i was completely fine nice my other question i've seen like the little icon thingies kind of wandering around on the menu and i know in the normal game if you click on them you can get like stuff i did i did i'm a genius oh look at that clean okay time to actually look at the editor because i haven't done that at all yet well i've gotten a color so that's great let's see how this works okay so i think i'm gonna start with like sort of climb if you know what i mean start like here i'd i really hope that this is going to like be something that i'm able to jump over can i play test it like is that going to work there's a play test button but i just want to make sure no it's just it's it's just placed another block down oh it works though oh my gosh yeah you can like actually play test your levels hold on so i need to place these all like a little bit farther apart i think oops i just deleted something that doesn't exist and i like how it even like like it even still will show you where you died so you know like what happened what went wrong okay does this length of jumps work no okay i think what i have to do is i have to make like two block wide platforms because i can't necessarily um hold whenever i'm jumping okay let's try this better i'm making progress which i'm gonna do i'm gonna add spikes here oh what it's upside down oh it's because like this i'm gonna put this here so that you can't fall i'm gonna put a jump pad here oh i love how it like has the particles still that's awesome i think it's i don't know where the pad is going to leave me so i'm going to hope that it puts me like here-ish okay i play testing it again it works oh i'm so good at this okay so where would this leave me i wonder if i could put this like here maybe a little bit maybe one spot over let's try that okay it looks fine it worked but i still think i was very close to dying so i should oh can i not like move stuff after i placed it yeah i might have to delete it and then move it actually first let me check how close i am to finishing okay 74 i'm gonna keep the progress bar on so that i'm able to save and exit right before it ends okay mostly fine i think it's okay i'll leave it like that i'm gonna try and build some obstacles and stuff so that it's like at least moderately interesting i have more of just the default blocks than i do any other piece so i'm going to start with that one let's put one here someone here [Music] oh okay so entering the ship portal doesn't bring you down as quickly as i thought it would i should probably move this okay saving this again just because i'm like terrified those levels gonna end and i'm gonna lose everything let's check out my stats before it closes me out okay so it's a little bit different because last time that stuff didn't accurately transfer over but around 38 stars 10 coins completely 78 jumps and seven dots not that bad considering that most of the deaths were at the demon level at the end five eight eight six eight five five eight eight six eight five perfect did it save my level i don't think it'll have saved my level because i feel like that's too complicated yeah that's sad i feel like having a system that saves an entire custom built level with only what is that like six digits that would probably be impossible everything else i think should have saved though yeah so i wonder how you get the red color and the white color down here and then i wonder like how do you get access to some of the ships and stuff that i don't really see any other way to get okay interesting where i think that's kind of all this level has to offer i've been recording for quite a while and i've really just been able to explore so many different things in this one level i'll do the outro here because i can i mean it's just like normal except instead of the actual geometry dash menu it is it's this huge props to gd vesuvius i'm putting this together i mean it's incredible like how we've been able to push the editor in recent times and even times before that but this is just an example of something that truly blew me out of the water when i first heard about it definitely give the level a shot for yourself if you're interested the idea is on the screen now because i cannot remember and recite a number that long big congrats to vesuvius on a job well done and i hope that you enjoyed the video
