don't you just hate it whenever you want to create a new git repository but you don't know where to get that git ignore file to exclude all of your net related files um i always find it a big hassle but here is just one command that will add that git ignore file anywhere here i am in the windows explorer and i guess this is going to be two tips for the price of one because did you know if you go in here to the address bar and you type cmd it will bring up the command window now in here you can type dotnet new git ignore and while doing that it will generate a new git ignore file with all the net related files you can see it here in our windows explorer and that's all good to go to go into a git repository no more finding another repo to steal that git ignore file from or finding it any other way and be honest did you know that little cmd trick in the windows explorer that i just showed you now like and subscribe for more on my channel
