Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
Putting the planet cards on the hexes before they are taken. I can't believe it's taken me this long to realise you could do this, great idea.
Wow. Wouldn't have expected the guys in the finals to place empty tiles close to Mecatol. Why?
Thanks for making this. I don't know if you will read this but I will give a little bit of feedback. This is the first time I have actually watched a game you have posted, as I have just not been able to get into the streams or the simulator tournaments. With this video you really captured the human element of Twilight Imperium, which at the end of the day is why I love the game. I don't really mind that you can't follow every move, or know exactly what tech people bought, because that isn't crucial to my enjoyment. On the streams you devote a lot of energy and screen real estate for all the data, but skip out on capturing that essential human element. It is difficult to hear what people are saying and since you are only seeing a few people at a time it makes it extra hard to follow any conversations. You do a ton of work, and I just kind of feel bad that I can't enjoy it.
Despite loving TI, this new video of yours and the one Shut Up and Sit Down did have been the only videos of people actually playing the game, that I have been able to enjoy so far.
I really love the podcast, and I think your games of TI would reach far more people with a different approach than your regular streams, but as a video producer I am fully aware that the right setup can be really difficult and sometimes expensive. Looking back though, I personally feel that your very first stream with a single camera shot was more interesting than your current setup, that feels overproduced in some areas and underproduced in the most important areas.
Please ignore me if none of this is helpful to you, I only mention all this because I really want to see you succeed to the degree that I feel you deserve. Keep up the good work, and thanks for making content about TI. Love and kisses
Finally got around to watching this. This format--edited video with commentary--is the best I've seen so far for covering a TI game. I'd love to see more of this kind of content in the future.
