hello everyone and welcome to another video now Nvidia graphics cards that end in 10 generally aren't very good for gaming for example we have the g-force 210 the 610 and the 710 I think they're supposed to be a 10 10 as well but I've not seen one in the wild so for now I'm just gonna have to assume that it sucks by default until I can get my hands on one to test now I may have missed a couple out I think there's a 310 somewhere in there too but generally all of these cards what they're not going to produce solid frame rates in games and that's not exactly what they're supposed to do anyway today I wanted to compare the 210 610 and the 710 to see which one well it's obvious which one's going to be the best but just to see how much difference then there is between these three now to try and make this as Fair as possible I've used all gddr3 sorry DDR3 versions of the cards the 210 the R3 the 610 DDR3 and the 710 DDR3 all three are from different manufacturers but they all well I guess what they have in common is that they're all terrible and all of them are using their latest driver versions or the latest version of the driver that they officially support but without further Ado let's get into it and uh test these suckish cards to see which one sucks less what a video let's get into some tests then again in the interest of fairness I've had to test games that work on all three cards and considering the GeForce 210 only supports up to DX 10.1 with the games I've tested today are pretty old but they all do run with some graphical sacrifices first of all we have GTA 5 this is actually running in the x10 mode to give all of our cards the best chance today with the g-fuels 210 we were able to get 22 frames per second with 50 resolution scale with a one percent low of 18. there weren't really many stutters the frame rate was just low in general the 610 produced 35 FPS again with the same 50 res scale and the GT 710 managed 51 frames per second so there's a massive difference between the 710 and the other two cards the 610 and the 210 were actually closer than anticipated both the 610 and 710 do support DX 11 11 Point nothing so they aren't going to be any good for new games or the newest of games but they're going to have a much better chance of at least trying to run newer games than the ancient 210 will the next game I tested that ran on all three cards was CS go the GeForce 210 hit 22 frames per second once again with a one percent low of 15. the 610 managed 38 frames per second which probably still isn't considered playable by a lot of Counter-Strike players however the 710 managed 68 FPS with a fairly solid one percent low although there were a few stutters here and there not solid results for any car to be honest but the 710 is of course going to give you the best chance I know that the 710 would be the best GPU out of the bunch I just wanted to see just how big the difference was between each GPU of course there is a gddr5 variant a two gig variant impact of the 710 so that might do even better on top of the extra performance we're seeing from it today that's going to be the option that you should consider if you are after one of these really low end cards but they're probably best avoided altogether if you want to play some games with solid frame rates in the Elder Scrolls Skyrim this is the original 2011 release the 210 failed to hit playable frame rates once again with 720p and the low preset when using the low preset the textures do default to medium and that's how I kept things today 19 FPS with a one percent low of 11 isn't playable by any stretch of the imagination although if you're desperate you may be able to get away with it d610 hit 35 FPS so I think we've sort of crossed that line of playability with this one especially considering that the one percent low was 30. the 710 however came in with 57 FPS and you could certainly turn the resolution over the settings up here if you wanted to under normal circumstances of course for the interest of comparison we have kept things equal settings wise for each of the three cards moving on to a classic and a favorite of mine Call of Duty Black Ops the original game I jumped into a bot match here with all three cards and we were seeing 21 FPS with the GeForce 210 the 210 of course doesn't even have a GT before the name because it's just that bad I guess but 21fps on average with a one percent low of 15. when using the 610 this frame rate jumped all the way up to 48 with a one percent low of 36 and the 710 blew both of those out of the water with 86 FPS on average and a one percent low that was able to hit at least 60 as well with 62 fps to be exact now your frame rate will differ depending on the map you are playing of course but for the most part the 710 is going to be leagues ahead of the 610 which in itself is Miles Ahead of the 210. the final game I tested today was the OG crisis with the GeForce 210 and the low settings we were able to squeeze 29 FPS out of it with a one percent low of 24. Crisis is one of those games where the low settings looks like a totally different game than when it's being played with well even medium to be honest I don't know how they were able to tweak the settings so that they look so bad at low but I'm thankful that they did because it meant that a wide range of PC Gamers could enjoy this game back in 2007 myself included who used to play this on a Pentium 4 machine the 610 managed 44 FPS with a 1 low of 32 and the 710 once again could certainly benefit from higher settings or resolutions hitting 73 FPS 53 was the one percent low frame rate all in all all of these cards aren't exactly ideal for modern gaming but the 7 710 is certainly leagues better than the 210 and 610 and would be the one to go for if you are on an extremely tight budget and want something that can at least produce playable frame rates in your older Games Collection now I didn't realize this when actually starting this video but the price difference between the 210 710 and the 610 is so minimal at least here in the UK the price difference between the 210 and 610 the cheapest cards are listed on eBay for example there was about a pound difference I saw a 210 for about 14 pounds and a 610 for 15 or 16 so yeah it's really a no-brainer when it comes to those two if you are on an extremely tight budget the 710 I actually saw gddr5 versions cheaper than I did the DDR3 cards so that's a no-brainer as well the gddr5 version I saw was going for about 20 and there were some DDR3 cars for around the same price now I can't remember off the top of my head just how much of a performance difference there is between the two differing memory versions but it might be quite significant in some games and different in others I've got a gddr5 card somewhere in that box of cards I bought online that I can actually test if you want me to make a comparison between those two in 2022 so yeah I mean the 710 is definitely a no-brainer if you are picking between three low end cards like this I just thought it was interesting to sort of take a look at the differences between all three of these things with all that said and done then thank you very much for watching let me know what you think of these cards Down Below in the comments leave a like if you enjoyed this one leave a dislike if you didn't subscribe to the channel if you haven't done so already and hopefully I'll see all of you in the next one
