seat l your neighbor I'm a citizen of the kingdom of heaven this world is not my home it's not my home again this morning we are greeted with the sad news that one of our sisters girly Massa mullah a sister disappeared sometime last year and they've been looking for her for a long time and discovered her remains and the Tinian of January so our sister has lost her sister and it is painful for us to deal with such tragic news it's not easy to to accept it's not easy to communicate and even during these circumstances we have to look to God a family that on the tit yet or rather the 28th of September saw their daughter leave the house never returned and her body is discovered on the 30th of January this year you can just imagine what the family has been going through all this time so we would love to pray for her and if there's anybody else that have lost a family member or loved one we were just love to pray for you and ask that God would strengthen you so we're going to ask sister Gurley muscimol Oh to please step forward before I preached let us pray with you and your family that God would strengthen you and God would be with you [Music] girly on behalf of myself and our family and all of the panelists their families that are in all of these your brothers and sisters we are deeply touched deeply when I heard the news this morning I was they were so shocked and my heart was so troubled it's the lease but we want to assure you of our love we want to assure you of our support may God be with you and your family your it is rather difficult time and may God give you the strength that is necessary to be strong for the sake of the family and made through the senseless and tragic death and we do not know how our God will glorify himself so we're going to pray in house that the mob would have his will eternal God and father it is so difficult to stay but where else can we stand it is so painful yes your daughter 28th of September and sister left the house not knowing that she would never return again the family has been anxiously looking for her doing everything in the effort to try and get her back into a place of safety to no avail and on the tit yet they were greeted with the sad and tragic news that she is no more God our country is in so much trouble things are spinning out of control the government does not have answer the different institutions that is plucked into the government is supposed to provide a service to the people does not have the answer it's only you Oh God that has the answer so we pray in our know God that you would come to the power of the Holy Spirit and that you would comfort and like you would console this bereaved family we pray NASCO God that you would work in their hearts through the power of the world to the working of your spirit the Bible says that if a man believes in me though he die yet shall he live again I'm going to prepare a place and after I've gone I will come again to receive you so that you can be where I am pray for the family and relatives and loved ones and friends that you would strengthen everyone and console them and care for them and give them the strength that is necessary Lord to go through the season of their lives then made to her death may your name be glorified may people come to experience your love your grace your mercy your compassion may yeah your voice we plead them under the blood of Jesus and we commit them to the power of our God lead them guide them be with them not just with these that are standing here but everyone else that have lost family members of loved ones that you will be with them and that your name would be glorified whether in life or in death absent from the body present with the Lord lead us and guide us O God direct corinthians chapter number 11 please if you have a Bible with your turn with me and let us start this morning briefly on the subject the power of the blood of Jesus the power of the blood of Jesus for I have received of the Lord that which I also delivered to you that the Lord Jesus in the night in which he was betrayed he gave thanks took the bread gave thanks and broke it and said this is my body which is due in remembrance of me in the same way he took the cup after supper saying this cup is the New Covenant in my blood do this as often as you drink it in remembrance of me for as often as you eat the bread and drink the cup you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes therefore even there forever eats the bread and drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ look at your neighbor and tell them there's power in the blood of Jesus my brothers and sisters I don't have a lot of time this morning but we quickly need to go to the book of Genesis God created Adam and Eve and place them in the midst of the garden gave them the eternal gift of life the radiance the brilliance the light of the glory of God was residing and locked up on the inside of their being the instruction and the commandment of God was very clear from the onset and right from the beginning of every tree that's in the midst of the garden you can eat but of the tree that's in the middle of the garden the tree of knowledge good and evil don't eat that tree don't even touch it because in the day that you eat from the tree or you touch its fruit you will die God's original intention when he created men was that men would live forever in his presence it was never the will of God that man would be subjected to the power of sin it was never the will of God that man would be subjected but the power of temptation it was never the will of God that man would be subjected to the power of sickness and disease what we see in the world today came as the result of man's willful disobedience to God the emotions that we are experiencing as human beings that come to a dick the power of the promise of the kingdom is as the result of the disobedience of man towards the Word of God you know the narrative end we do not want to belabor the point the women listen to the voice of the serpent she saw that the fruit was good and pleasant to eat she took the fruit ate the fruit and gave some of it to her husband who was standing right there instead of him taking control and chance of the situation because God created him first he left the old situation and I do not know is it because of the love and the affection that he had for this woman that he became gullible and participated and ate of the fruit the Bible says when they both ate when she ate nothing happened but when he participated and ate from the fruit the Bible says the eyes of both of them were open and then they realized but we are naked now before that they were clothed and covered with the glory of God it was the glory of God that covered their nakedness and now that the glory of God was removed from them they then discovered that they were naked long story short as soon as then found its way into the heart of men the first thing that happens to men when sin is present is man's desire to run away from God the power of sin works what in man's heart a fearful Dart the power of sin brings man to a place of guilt a place of rejection the place of damnation when we do wrong we feel guilty and the result of the burden of killed our ferrous and natural propensity is to run away from God and because of the burden of the guilt of sin they ran away from the presence of God and they hid themselves God who is gracious and merciful God who is compassionate and kind God who is benevolent slow to anger rich in His mercy know it very well what had taken place in the garden came into a chaotic situation and call their names as if he did not know where they were Adam Adam it's it's like that father that has a five year old child that plays hide-and-seek with the father it's not that the father has not discovered the hiding place of the child it's just that the father becomes part and parcel of the process of discovery I've come to preach the gospel when the five-year-old goes into hiding and hides from the father the father would call and the father would make pretend he doesn't know where the child is the same way God walked into the garden and call on the name of a man when he knew exactly where that man was the reason why God called him is because he did not know where he as soon as the Hardys flies they presented him selves to him and the blame game started he he blamed the wife they they said to God we are naked God told him who told you you were naked have you done what I told you you shouldn't do why did you eat of the tree says well everything was fine until you gave me this wife lady she missed a very good place to say man now why are you blaming the woman when you were standing right there when the devil came into the house why didn't you take why didn't you put your foot down and say can see behind me Satan now you want to blame the wife poor old woman and they've been blaming you ever since look at it sister next so you say ass kisses kisses ass kiss things go wrong and ladies really that should serve as a compliment towards you because it just shows you how much power you have [Applause] nobody can keep our home together like a mother nobody Father's will provide brick and water but nothing mix in a home she makes in the whole father's will provide a little a cabbage in a little a flower and cauliflower in a little mean oil but give it to that woman and look at her look at her when she walks into that kitchen when she put those things together she presents the family with a meal I mean just woman just has got such grace from God such grace such I mean this is a king this is a this is a kingdom and I think that's the reason why they refer to woman as the neck and yes the woman that destroyed the house why because she listened to the devil can I just interject please listen to me sisters is very dangerous to listen to other people when it comes to your family oh you miss a good place to clap you miss a good place to clap everybody out of your business don't tell them about your husband don't tell them about your children don't tell them about the cat don't tell them about the dog just keep them out of your business because your family is better off of what out third party interference if you want to talk about your family go to God tell your husband about God tell to tell God run about your husband tell God about your children tell God about the cat about the talk about the grass about whatever is in the family tell it to God and your family will remain in tech [Applause] sisters you owe me a chump the husband blamed the wife the wife blamed the serpent and and the judgment of God is pronounced the families put out of the presence of God the garden the Utopia the exuse year the place where the inhabitable glory of God plows a place where they knew no sin no sickness no disease no infirmity no jealousy no cabbage just a place and the love of God now they are put out of that place the place of safety and as soon as they are put out of that place God calls on two angels and says now you've got to guard the entrance of the place because these children might just come back and come and eat from the Abba tree the tree of life and when they eat from that tree we're going to have big problems on our hands because they will live forever but in a sinful state we got to stop it make sure it doesn't happen and well they communicated and they are put out of the presence of God the Bible says the man and his wife came together and God bless them were two children Cain and Abel you know the narrative and we don't have time to recapitulate him but suffice it just to remind you the brothers one day was walking before the presence of God and one day one of the brothers became jealous of his other brother now in the beginning they did not know the emotion called jealousy because in the presence of God there's fullness of joy jealousy was not part of the equation it was not part of the blessing of God but because of sin and the one brought the rose up against ease of the brother and became angry and the Bible said he lifted his hand against his brother and he killed his own brother my brothers and sisters from that day onward men began to develop a reprobated mind man began to wonder far from the presence of God and the power of sin and the power of sickness became prevalent it became the order of the day and God looked at the situation and God says now we got to do something in order to help these people because they cannot help themselves now I must also just mention that after Adam and Eve sinned God needed to make appropriation for this and he needed to cover this and so what did God do God went into the garden and up until that point nothing but life was prevalent in the garden but because they have said and what does the Bible says the Bible says the wages of sin is death something must die so what does God do God goes and he takes a little lamb because they cover themselves with leaves God says no your solution is not a good solution I have to help you and God went into the garden and took lamb and truth of the lamb for two reasons one so that the blood of the lamb can cover secondly so that the shape schemes can cover their nakedness and this was a prophetic declaration of what was going to happen in the future long story short long story short from there on we see this the spiral effect this domino effect we we see the consequential and systematic demise of men as they continue to play in the mud the muck and the mire of sin and how the enemy had the upper hand over them and how he taught it and how he manipulated the image of God on the inside of men and that because of the power of sin you know the story how God when he visited Sodom and Gomorrah wiped out an entire city why because of the sin of the people you know the story how God when he visited and Noah and his family and generation of how God had to wipe out an entire nation why because of the burden of sin you know the story how God when the Levitical priesthood was institutionalized but the grace of God and that because God needed to help men he said to them without the shedding of blood there is going to no remission for sin then the Levitical order the Levitical priesthood was institutionalized and part of that ceremony was the shedding of blood because blood would gather every year the high priest what go into the holy of holies he would take the blood after they sacrifice it because right through the year the people have sinned they've done wrong before the presence of God and once a year the high priests have a responsibility to take the blood of the animals the animals had to die in this stead had to die in their place and then the high priest would take the blood and he will go and enter into the Holy of Holies and when he got and only he could go into the Holy of Holies up and when he got into the Holy of Holies he would take the blood and that's the price of the blood would make reconciliation for the sins of the people until next year you get the story so God says this does not work all of this allegories and types and shadows it's nothing a picture of that which is to come because the problem of the situation and what the current reality was that sin continue to dominate man and God says I need to fix this thing I need to fix it once and for all let me let me let me let me let me brush let me fast-forward I saw one says in the year King Uzziah died I saw the Lord he was high and lifted up the Train of his robe filled the entire temple then he heard a voice and who is there that will go for us and then from the inaccessible line of the glory and the presence of God came a voice that says ascend me I will go it is the same Isaiah that says well unto us a child born unto us a son will be given the government is going to rest upon his shoulders he will be called wonderful he will be called the mighty God the Prince of Peace and the everlasting father it is the same hosiah when he looked into the future of the Lord before him when we see him he was stricken of God but yet he was he was going to be healed you are going to be the sins of the family God is this man speak when they saw him walk they said what [Music] [Music] we're talking about the one who was an easy is to come we're talking about Jesus the Prince of Peace of the Rose of Sharon the lily of the valley the bright morning star domo q-tips but when I talk about Jesus my soul gets that might enter because that's no one I came that's a shout yes yes [Music] the Lord did all these wonderful miracles and helped people and blessed people and change people's lives but that was not the primary reason why our Lord came one day as he was preparing to go to the cross he says to them boys my time is coming I'm going Peter says to him God for black that you go to do everything that I need to do in order to ensure that you do not go to the cross Jesus looked at him and said get thee behind me Satan why because the fullness of the will of God that was the sign before the foundation of the world for God to help us long story short when the time had come the time had come in the room and he take the elements he take the braids like we're going to do today he said this is my body it's going to be broken for you he says this is the New Covenant in my blood which will be shared for the remission of many they didn't understand what he was talking about until they left the place in the upper room and they walked towards the garden when they got into the garden the Bible said he would take tree with him in order to go and pray in solitude he began to bow his knee before the presence of God [Music] what keys and Jesus said to him do you betray the Son of man with a kiss and they took Jesus they brought him before Caiaphas and they brought it before Pilate I don't have time what are you going to say in your defense do you hear what the people is accusing you off he just kept quiet so that the words of Isaiah could be fulfilled as the land before he shares he did not open his mouth Jesus just kept don't you know I've got the power to set you free the power to come he said to him you would have no power over me and they found him guilty long story short I don't have time the next morning Jesus POW Britain and bruised Jesus Oh slowly not because the whole night he did not sleep and they would not allow him the Bible said they took a crown of thorns because the accusation was he said that he was the King of the Jews they took the crown of thorns they began losing over his brow and then they force him to take that old rugged cross and to carry into the loser [Music] because for the sake of the children he took himself because he opened his legs to the soul he talking about the anymore it's blood what Jesus what the shouting of your bladder the children cannot be safe but how the shedding of your blood that children cannot have the gift of eternal life let me explain this to you because I feel I have to why did Jesus have to come and die why did God not send an angel I tell you why because we are not created in the class of an angel we are collected in the high in the class of God so it had to take a crowd to come the prize I'm talking about the sacrifice of the son of God rejected by both shaken me the father had to leave him why because that moment he took your son [Music] it took my son it took the sins of the world and he became our scapegoat he was wounded for my transgression he was bruised for my iniquity surely he bore our sorrow before the presence of God who send his son who gave his blood that you be faithful to the call and the responsibility that by your own will you declare yes to God it's a very serious thing to say yes to God because we cannot say yes and then later on we say we made a mistake the Bible says cursed is a man that does that if you put your hand to the plow and you look back you will be cursed and that curse will not just affect you it would also affect your generation you'll save your posterity that's why through hell and high waters for those of us that have said yes there are many times that we are challenged and confronted with the reality of the pain of the ministry because doing what we're doing is not easy it's very difficult to work with people and when we are challenged and confront attempt that we are many times to walk away to lay down our arms and to say to ourselves I don't need this but how can you do that if you say yes to God you can't so you continue to continue to continue to do what God has called you to do until the day you die we die without boots on in the ministry as how we die what our boots on we bleed we carry a lot of scars lots of disappointments and lots of pains all kinds of things that happen you are committed to people that's not committed to you you love people that sometimes don't even love you is very difficult is very hard and when our father speaks to us he says you have to deny yourself he doesn't worry about the people he said you have to take up your cross and you have to follow me where I am there you will be too so those of you that are kneeling before the Lord please understand like you I knelt like that I was a youth leader I didn't start this thing as a pastor I said it was a Sunday school teacher then I became a youth leader then I became an evangelist then I took on pastoral responsibilities today I'm just an ordinary brother that's all so I am that's the seventh titles are not important it's the fruit it's what we do for God that is important so please whatever you do on the journey you cannot turn your back if you understand is better you stand up now you go back to your seat but if you start out and you say God yes it's yes until the day we die do you understand son you understand son you understand my daughter do you understand son don't shake your head say yes or no yes do you understand my count all right we're gonna pray for you eternal God and father you work with us mere mortals I don't know how you do that because we are full of flaws and failures and weaknesses and inconsistencies and inhibitions and yet the Bible says you have chosen the foolish things of this world to confound the wise you you do not call us for ourselves you call us for the benefit of other people you make us your slaves so that other people can benefit Paul says woe be unto me if I do not preach the gospel because God will judge me it's a burden an eternal burden and when we start with the journey we end in the grave and on the other side of the grave we are well done if we were faithful good and faithful servant I pray for these young children Lord and I see myself in them they have said yes to help you in the kingdom and to contribute to make themselves available to avail their skills and their talents and they gives them their abilities and their resources to help the church to help other young people to encourage them to save their lives and to nurture them and to Croom them and to guide them and to watch over them and to pray for them and Lord many a days they're going to do it without gratitude but that's the price that we pay and I pray O God even now as we anoint them to fulfill the Ministry of the ute and your grace and your mercy would rest upon them and that you would strengthen them and lead them and that you would guide them even as you did us and know that you will give them a desire for prayer a desire for the Word of God and that through the power of the anointing of the Holy Spirit they will influence and change thousands of people's lives you did it for us as young people now I pray that you would do it for our children in the name of Jesus Buzz's we're going to ask you to come and take the oil and anoint them we anoint them now before the presence of God and the congregation in the name of the Father in the name of the son in the name of the Holy Spirit help them Lord to live fruitful life stand of productive lives that their fate will be examplary and that they would serve and not have the desire to be served take vanity out of their hearts and out of their lives and give them the attitude and the heart of a servant in jesus name amen please rise to your feet young people I charge you before the presence of God and Jesus Christ the congregation that is year that you'll be faithful to God that you study the world that you give yourself to the discipline of prayer and that you help the young children today's children are faced with all kinds of challenges all kinds of difficulties and God is going to depend on you to reach somebody that's sitting there in that ute on the street among friends that would pull them away with God is going to depend on you to flow through you in order to bring change into someone else's life please be faithful to God don't do anything to offend the little ones be faithful in prayer be faithful in the world in your unity together as a team don't divide the body keep the unity of the faint what together love one another respect one another we work as one team nobody is important we are all just slaves of Christ bond servants of the master titles are not important because they cannot bear fruit its ministry the best fruit it's the call of God upon our lives and may God help you and may he finds you faithful in Jesus name Amen ladies and gentlemen it gives me great joy to turn around pleased to present to you our new leadership structure Jefferson over here will be your new youth leader so he is going to work with your children love them encourage them come for them pray with them and do everything in his power to be a blessing to them give him a good round of applause place [Applause] this Aryan is going to be his assistant he will help him this child grew up in front of me my and his father and myself and his mother we were in the same ute and for me to stand here today and to look at him knowing where he came from he comes from this is nothing other than a miracle from God to God we are eternally grateful so please love them pray for them give them all of your support this is Walter Rick you know her she's just completed her majors in music pray for her that God would help her she's going to be playing a supportive role this is Patrick um you know him he's been with us for many years grew up here in the church pray for him God would help him grace him give him the strength is necessary to fulfill his role and his responsibilities a man my child what's your name my second this is my girl merciful pray for her that God would help her there's another one that's not here that they would fulfill the purpose and the plan of God I say he'll be faithful destroy the power of death release the gift of life in the place of weakness let your strength be made manifest in the place of depression let your joy come to its fullness Oh God yeah I will pray flesh your environment so your father promised that the blood of Jesus if you go to the don't run away from him run to him and if you come his blood will cleanse you forgive you and he'll cleanse your everything that we've done we've done on a cash basis for the glory of God we don't borrow money we work by fate and I do not want to put unnecessarily burdens on people I don't do that I do not operate by that the Bible says God loves a cheerful Giver so I've asked you please to prepare a seat again for today just to give you an idea we need to replace replace these monitors and just the bill for this is about 120,000 ran to replace just the monitors alone we need screens there's a whole range of things that we need if you're able to write me a check of at least three million rand I'll be able to do everything and I don't need to stay then yes you you're very blessed to have a person to believe in you like that yeah of course amen so in the absence of one person that's able to write me a 3 million rent check I'm going to take every cent that I can get in order for us to do God's work amen and we're going to receive an offering and over and above that Hilton I'm so glad to
