GAUNTLET TIER LIST (Geometry Dash Gauntlets)

hi i'm alan this is the video good morning good evening good afternoon everyone welcome back to more drum track today i thought we were going to make a little bit of a tier list dude i love to list i keep making tier lists every like now and then because i have this like innate need to just flaunt my terrible opinions the thing that i'm going to be doing today is we are going to tier list the gauntlets so we have here all the different gauntlets and i'm going to be going through them and we're going to be talking about each and every one of them and then we're going to be putting them into this tier list so we're going to be going here actually i'm going to move my face coming over here like so okay there we go so what we're doing is we are just going to go through this as we normally do and i'm just going to we're going to open up the fire gauntlet and then we're going to talk a little bit about all the different levels and then we're going to just like rough place them so without further ado let's just hop into it start have a little bit of fun uh okay so fire gauntlet so the thing about fire gauntlet is that a lot of these are just like very basic i'm gonna be honestly honest with you i don't really think any of these levels are anything spectacular obviously we have magmatic sanctuary which to every person ever created is like the worst level ever however i like radiation b2 stuff radiation v2 makes a lot of really cool levels and i think people just unnecessarily on magmatic sanctuary sure it's not the greatest level of all time i'll never say as much however it does fit with the theme right it is a fire did i just die it is a fire level so i mean it works right it worked it is a level of fire in the fire gauntlet sure it has its moments where it's like really awkward and you you're like wow why is this in the fire gauntlet this is like absolutely impossible but for the most part this level isn't really that bad i don't understand the hate for if i'm being 100 honest why did i die to that what i can take it back this level is absolutely garbage what is this other than that though i think the other levels are like okay they're not amazing i i was never kind of shocked first race is pretty cool i think first race is like one of those uh i just like it for no other reason other than i think it's just i don't know i i just never had anything with against this level like it is it's not very fiery it's red why am i so bad today holy but yeah no this is like one of those levels that i feel like the theming is just not the greatest i think my main issue with the fire gauntlet and a lot of the earlier goblet is the fact that they just don't really work with the theming i think fire gauntlet gets bonus points for magmatic sanctuary for that point or for that reason alone where is the only level that like truly nails the theme for the gauntlet if it's named fire gauntlet and there isn't any fire then i feel like that's like a missed opportunity there are so many cool fire theme levels in this game yet they still like managed to mess that up i don't really know how they managed to do that but they just kind of did i okay so back to this level i do like this level but only for the reason because i just think it's funny i think the the wave part was like i think the wave parts are fun mostly because you could just like spam and that's like all you have to do but then again that's like every easy level ever anyway i think that we can give the fire gauntlet a solid c tier it's very middle of the road i would give a d tier because nothing really fits not at levels are necessarily bad but none of them really fit the theme which is d tier because c tears like okay they're whatever levels but at least they're like kind of in there but magmatic sanctuary is a great level in terms of like decoration and stylized for the gauntlet so i'm gonna put it in ct that's my verdict where we're putting in seats here now over to the ice golf i'm gonna be 100 real with you i don't remember anything from these levels whatsoever so i'm probably gonna just run through them very fast and just like play through them all because i'm gonna be 100 real with you i really don't remember any of these levels if i remember correctly though none of these levels are like spectacular like not none of them are like icy this is like kinda icy right it's like okay yeah that it makes sense it's frosty the color scheme is frosty it's not too bad but as a whole though i don't really know actually no this level's kind of good why did i not remember this level existing it's kind of solid i like this now the question is does the other level hold up to that same standard okay no i think this level's pretty solid as an individual level i would probably place is like decently high maybe i should do that one day tell me guys what you guys think should i go and do like a ranking of all the different levels anyway okay so this is another blue level at least i'm gonna go into like a very natural switch oh it changed from blue therefore it's not ice it's just it just happened to be blue okay yeah like this is this is what i mean right a lot of these like early levels don't really feel like they fit in with it and i feel like this is no different there's like one of those levels that's like okay it's just a decent level there's no real fault with this level it's just an okay very simple easy level but it's not an ice level right carnation again is just like sure this works this hundred percent works better than the other level skyward was just not it right it's just not an ice level however this one kind of works i i can see that being like the aurora borealis or whatever right that's terrible though that's not very good um anyway auto wave [Music] yeah see this this is again what i mean it's just very simple very basic levels this was like the style back when the gauntlets came out right like this was like the rave but it's not a it's not an ice level however this dude's name is creator freeze so yeah i think i i think this one fits i think this fits so i think overall the ice gauntlet in my personal opinion at least the ice gauntlet definitely does better than the fire gauntlet i think the fire gauntlet for the most part is just it's not fiery however this one i feel like works a lot better uh simply because of the fact that three out of the five levels are actually like somewhat ice cream like obviously they're not like perfectly themed in any way and it's not necessarily like genuine ice that it's themed after like this level i feel like is themed after like the northern lights more than ice however it's also just like the northern lights let's be real it's kind of like interchangeable with like icy places like norway northern canada uh finland the north pole right i feel like it goes within the same realm so i think i think the ice gauntlet definitely does better i think it is certainly better than the fire gauntlet for sure so if we go here we grab the ice gauntlet right here i think i'm going to put it in a solid i'm going to put in a solid beat here because i know there's better things coming up and uh as a result i'm going to put fire down in deep because fire only had one level that was like actually fiery i'm gonna put it down in detail then we go over to poison gauntlet and this level i think actually or this gauntlet i think is actually really solid uh ground zero is great and acid factor if i remember correctly acid factor is pretty solid and generation retro while not necessarily like a poison level it goes in on the green color now you can say that the fire gauntlet ice gauntlet and poison gauntlet are kind of like color gauntlets almost right and if we go by that logic this level is perfect it's green but it's a retro style level it's a video game style level it's not a poison style you can okay i got a little bit of our reach here got a little bit of a reach it's in the poison gauntlet because video game communities are toxic food for thought uh i think this low i think this one is decent i'm going to check out beast mode i don't need to check out beast mode full it's just beast mode full it's this level is not it's not a poison level shrimp however i have no clue ground zero is great though ground zero is a very good level very solid an acid factory works so we're just gonna check out shrimp uh this doesn't look does not look very poison to me so far unless you count the fact that is this an acid notation song i think this is an acid notation song you can't count that technically speaking but i feel like that's a little bit of a far reach again so i don't think this is better than the ice gauntlet i think the poison gauntlet while it has a higher high i think ground zero is better than any of the levels in the ice gauntlet but is beaten by magmatic sanctuary again in terms of like how it well it fits but i i don't know i i don't feel like a majority of the levels in the poison gauntlet work very well so i don't think this point the poisson scotland is terrible i think it's very like middle of the road and because i think that it's very middle of the road we're going to put it middle of the road in seat here remember we're not talking about uh we're not talking about the actual levels gameplay or anything here we're talking strictly about how it fits within the gauntlet now we're over to shadow the shadow gauntlet this one i think is awesome we have spooky light ominous ghost town fear zone and infusion and these are all great great levels like in terms of like theming for what it's supposed to be i think that the shadow gallery here is really solid it was started by spooky likes here by sir punch it says her punch level come on dude it's a sir punch level can you really not love this level like this is like peaks or punch right like when sir punch make this this is like when surprise was at his absolute best it is ghosts in it it has booze in it i almost said this has boobs in it some people might wish that it did but you you get the point spooky light is super cool very good it fits the shadow gauntlet perfectly and then we have ominous by hyenada while i think if i'm not mistaken this has like a spooky esque feeling it is also like kinda in the realm of not no oh i completely forgot about this level this was awesome i take back everything i said this level is sick shadow gone look very solid i think the reason why though is because a lot of the time people theme their levels before they release them and spooky stuff is just very easy to make levels of let's be real like a lot of people just like making spooky levels there's a lot of really scary levels that come out and i think it's just a theme that people like seeing like horror is a very popular video game your honor for that reason take a look at five nights at freddy's so i think the shadow gauntlet i'm gonna double check infusion because that's the one level i don't really remember much of yeah this is the one level that i don't really feel like fits like sure the song kind of fits but for the most part i think this level kind of like falls flat in terms of like everything else which is a shame because the rest of this gauntlet is so solid like the most that this level has is oh my god it's black and white with some neon colors very scary right oh my god i'm pissing myself at how scary this is personally we'll give the shadow gauntlet an eight here because i think that this is very good i don't think it's an s tier simply because of infusion i think infusion kind of like it's a little bit of a letdown i'm not gonna lie it's a bit of a let down which is sad because it could have been such a fantastic gauntlet but no it just falls a little bit flat which it's a shame but hey it happens and then next up is lava gauntlet magnetic sanctuary would probably have fit this one better but hey it's fine uh infernal arena which is a really solid level is a suomi level so me is fantastic ecor or i-corps by desert ass yeah frontline fool i got a music which this level does not fit whatsoever this is a huge left down for this one fire aura by sumsar ah this looks so good this is awesome i love fire aura then we have danger zone by gd jose overall i think these levels are pretty solid uh i do wish that the frontline's full wasn't there because other than that level these levels are very very good like there's there aren't really any levels that are like not good like this level is i remember vividly playing this level for the first time i think this level is very very solid while not necessarily the best magma themed level or lava themed level it gives you like the feeling of like traveling through like a mountain of some sort with like how you're going through all these like tunnels and so on and so forth which it works you're kind of going through like a lava place you're going through a lava place which makes sense right it makes sense you can you can call it you're going through a volcano so it fits like sure some of the color choices are aren't like the greatest and it just keeps like breaking immersion a little bit but it keeps going back to the primary red which is very solid i like this level i think this level is good and then you have fire aura which is like one of the best dinosaurs ever made and then dangerous i don't really remember any junior zone oh it's this level i remember this level this level is funky can you really say that this isn't like lava themed considering the fact that it uses the lava blocks i don't know i think this one fits i think overall the lava gauntlet is very solid actually while clearly not my favorite i would be lying if i said that the lava gauntlet wasn't good but again it has that one level that really breaks it a little bit i'll put it next to uh the the shadow gauntlet similar because i think it's a good level uh i think it's a very good gauntlet i think it does a lot of good good things i think it does a lot right just has that one level that ruins it but thematically speaking i think the lava gun was great very very solid the bonus gauntlet is difficult because the bonus gun it doesn't really have any themes so we're gonna go on here we're gonna we're gonna look on how the thing is shaped and looks and we're gonna go tropical i'm gonna call it the tropical one uh the problem with this one right is that you can't really pinpoint what it's supposed to be i think the difficulty of the the bonus gauntlet here is the fact that it doesn't have a distinct theme to it so you just kind of like have to be like oh i think the level is good and that's pretty much it like there are levels in this that i think are good that doesn't fit with the theme of the gauntlet the problem with this one is that the gauntlet doesn't really have a theme it's a bonus gauntlet it's just a gauntlet full of bonus levels that are good levels and for the most part i agree i think a lot of these levels are pretty solid while a few of them are pretty basic like this level was decently basic it's not a bad level and i think that goes for the full uh gauntlet in general i think it's just an overall decent gauntlet nothing spectacular for sure nothing incredible it's just an okay gauntlet and i think that's just kind of how it goes and how i'm going to end up judging it for it i think overall is just decent and because of how decent it is and it doesn't really have anything that like sticks out to me personally i'm going to put it in c tier middle of the road not spectacular not terrible it's just an okay level that's all i have to say about it really and then we get into the chaos gauntlet the chaos gauntlet i think is awesome for a lot of different reasons we have scarlet surge we have capitalism we have dark draw incredible levels absolutely incredible levels i love scarlet search i think scarlet search by incendium is phenomenal it's a timeless classic capitalism is i know a lot of people dislike this but i think this level is incredible i love this level i think it's really fun and dark drop is the beginning of one of the most iconic series alkali ever put out with the dark drop series darker drop and darkest drop are both really solid i do think darker darker drop is the best out of the three however anubis and drippy dobby drippy dub i think is is like a funny novel in a lot of ways i i kind of like scale it into like the funny style but anubis it's an audio level i think the miss here was that it this this gauntlet put in adio and danolex in like p uh generic adiol and analytics when they were like at their least but simultaneously most popular and what i mean by that is that the generic audience of the game the casual audience of the game absolutely love them because they're very sight readable levels various basic levels that anyone can really pick up and play and they they just kind of like had fun gameplay very basic gameplay the problem with that was that the the hardcore audience myself included were kind of like ah they just like mass fabricating the same thing over and over again and a lot of people just ended up disliking that and because of because of that i have a really hard time being like oh yeah they're good levels i think anubis and dripada definitely tear tears down the chaos gauntlet quite significantly not because they don't fit within the the theme of the level or the theme of the gauntlet because they are hectic levels there's a lot of things going on except for a new business is kind of basic but i just think dripping up in a noob is kind of like they're a little bit disappointing compared to the rest of the levels i think they they disappoint over the other three how are they oh the other three are such classics capitalism dark drop and scroll asserted some of the most recognizable non-demon levels in the game for like any demon grinder ever everyone has heard of them very solid levels however because of the fact that i feel like anubis and drippy dub kind of tear down i can't with good conscious put it in eight or s tier i'm gonna put it another eight here though because i do think that is very good i think it lives up to the same standard as poison and um or shadow and lava i want to put it s here i really do because capitalism dark drop especially and squirrelly surge are just so good on their own they're all s here if i ever do this where i put like each individual level they are all going ester 100 they're fantastic levels but drippy dubbin and noobs just pulls down dude they really do and it's such a shame ester is like near perfect gauntlet and those two levels drag down the chaos combat significantly now we're gonna do my forte the demon gauntlet this is where things go awesome sidestep gets a lot of i think sidestep is great i really like sidestep i think cysup is fun level i do i do not understand why so many people dislike it i think this is a very solid level it has a couple weird things but there's mostly just clicking and holding the thing about the sidestep and i think that the thing that sidestep does amazing as a beginner beginner demon is that it teaches you buffer clicking buffer clicking is essential for size that the reason why so many people struggle with scissors is because you have to like click as soon as possible with a lot of the input and the reason why people struggle with that is because they do not realize that you can buffer traction by further funky it's a photo funky classic this is where further funky truly got traction haha it's funny laugh this level is great i think it's awesome really good level mechanical showdown really really solid medium even i think there's nothing else to say vibration by shady i think is the weakest of the four but i still think this is a good level i think a lot of people just underestimate how fun this level can be because i think personally that this level is like really really good and then hell everyone their mother for some reason just hates health i don't know why hell is just really good this is probably going to show my bias but as a person who plays exclusively demons and i don't think any of these levels are bad whatsoever i think all of them fit within the demon goblin and they teach you a lot of valuable skills i'm putting demon golem in s i'm putting the demon goblet in s t here i think it's very solid very very good then we have the time gauntlet the time gauntlet i feel like is a little controversial because a lot of some of these others are awesome rose rose is one of the absolute best levels to ever come out of the gong rose is a masterpiece i love this level good mind control very good i i kind of look at mind control and i'm thinking like this is like the beginning of how good darwin started becoming like this is when darwin started becoming like really really good right silence by bran silver uh they are an interesting creator in a lot of ways because bran silver is one of those people who i feel like back then was not very good brand silver since has become really really solid they come out with a lot of really cool gimmicks and i really appreciate their stuff i don't think silence is very good i think silence is just not a good level high i'm less bizarre harukin is another level that i feel like is before harukin got really good vertigo now is awesome i love conch clunk is incredible like a lot of the newer stuff that hodogan has made is really good conch flicker and hot flash absolutely awesome they're really solid levels timeless was not it i'm not gonna lie and then half past 12. i think it's neat i think it fits within the gauntlet like it does work with the goblin like it fits with the gauntlet theming it's a time level come on it's a time level it has a clock in it how could it not be symbolizing time 12 30 my guy it was actually 12 30 when i started recording this video so i think that's funny uh but for the most part i think this level is pretty pretty okay like i'm not like the biggest fan of it but i do think that the level itself is decent but it's just a level that i don't think much of other than the fact that it's decent because timeless or silence and timeless aren't like my two favorite levels i gotta say though while not a huge fan they do fit within the time gauntlet they work thematically within the gauntlet i'm gonna try and not let my bias towards those two levels in particular show here because they do work for the gauntlet itself i'm gonna put it in a tier now we're getting into the more recent stuff first of all we have crystal crystal essence people hate the level for some reason i think crystal essence is awesome i love this level i think it's amazing we have prismarine by sir hodokin which i am going to be 100 with you i don't really remember the thing i like about oh it's this level okay yeah this level is cool thing about like about the crystal uh gauntlet is the fact that it's just colors it's just a lot of cool colors and this is like a good example of that i feel like this level is just it just works for what it wants to do and i like it i think this is a very sick gauntlet and i think it's another gauntlet that just does the theme very very well like this is cool you gotta admit like even if you don't really like the deco of it well you gotta you gotta admit that it works with the gauntlet itself which i think is the the main appeal to this level center of light after dark really good level sanctuary of light is phenomenal very very very solid uh i don't really have anything else to say about it it's just a good level right and then luster by galvatron luster by galvatron oh my god dude i could go on and on and on about this level this is like peak galvatron to me this is peak galvatron the i saw this level first time and i was absolutely in awe this is what galvatron really is my only issue with this level for like the theme of the gauntlet is the fact that the crystal theming of it comes from just a bunch of crystals like it's just a bunch of crystals right the the crystal decoration is the only reason for crystal i wish some of the backgrounds were a little bit more crystal but this level was just oh my god it's so good if you don't like luster i don't know what to tell you bro like this is the the this is galadriel oozing of galvatron is so fantastic and honestly let's be real the crystal gauntlet is probably what the hell probably the absolute best gauntlet that we have the crystal color is just phenomenal like i would probably go like here because the crystal gauntlet was the first one that like had like a proper contest for it it's safe to assume that they are like top tier levels right i think the crystal god was great i love it next up is the magic gauntlet and a lot of people have a lot to say about this because of empyrean and odyssey shade first and foremost has a brand silver level my uh criticism for this goes to the same as the previous one i just don't think it fits because this was like brand silver peak very basic generic style brand silver stuff again i'll have to reiterate i think bran silver stuff now is fantastic i think they are a wonderful wonderful creator i would be lying if i said this fits i i just don't think it does like this is just a regular generic level then you get into these it's it's a skitten level and a phil martin level and it's getting in though martin and such phenomenal phenomenal creators however i never understood why aquarius is in the magic gauntlet it's not magic it's a water level it's gonna fit perfectly in a fish gauntlet they could just like sure you could be like oh it's the magic of the sea right because the sea is quite magical for a lot of people i'm terrified of the ocean but i love this level i think aquarius is such a great level it is super cute it's super fun but it's not magic and i have a really hard time giving credit to this level before being in the magic gauntlet when it just simply isn't magical but though martin's a great creator as well this is like again similar to aquarius i really like the level i think the level itself is solid it's very solid i just don't think it fits too much within the magic gauntlet odyssey and imperium i think they're great levels in my opinion and they work they work perfectly fine uh they are made for the it was like a collab thing where people would make parts and like slap them together it's a really cool concert i think it's one of the coolest concepts that we've had for like creator contest and i think it's really cool that we got something that's unique but it's really only autistic and imperial i feel like fit and because of the fact that i only feel like two levels really fit this gauntlet like whatsoever no actually i'm going to put it ct because i do think empyrean and honesty do fit very very well uh but i just can't go get myself to put it higher i really can the spike gauntlet where i even begin bro i don't like this gauntlet i don't i i don't think there's a single level here that really works that well other than maybe desert bounds desert balance sure i can see that one this gauntlet is just not good like it could have been like a desert theme one it could have been desert theme because it's like a deserty image for the thing but this gauntlet is just very not good like why is this level in the spike gauntlet when it could have just been in the shadow gauntlet this level would have fit perfectly within the shadow gauntlet 10 eppers is a great level but it doesn't fit the the theme of the gun that it's in it's in the spike gauntlet and it's a spooky level what is that why the only level that could like fit the theme of this is probably desert bound so my issue with the spike gauntlet is that it has one level that like kind of fits within the gauntlet which is desert bounce which i think it the desert bound does fit pretty decently right it fits pretty decently well however it also isn't a desert themed gauntlet it's a spike gauntlet and the roundness of that level and like the it doesn't feel rough spikes are rough and it just doesn't feel like a rough level i'm gonna put the spike gauntlet in eath here i would put it af if it wasn't for desert bound desert bounce does well just salvaging this level all together or this gauntlet altogether but i can't in good faith put it any higher than eater then we move on to the last ones first of all we have monster the monster gauntlet really good i'm just gonna tell you right now really good slam is up there for absolute best gauntlet level i think slam is probably like top three best gauntlet levels in the entire game while i don't think that omg aliens is danceman's best i think is one of dansman's most memorable and it's only because of the fact that he took his like generic style that he always used but added like funny aliens to it and while that sounds really silly and really stupid it does fit monster mischief uh this was what put mr cool tricks on the radar for me personally and i like this level i think this is a very solid level i've always liked it and mr cooltrick since then has made some really cool stuff mechanism by heyon i think is probably the weakest of the levels in this while not bad in the slightest i think it's the level that fits the worst simply because of the fact that i feel like this is one of those levels that it just kind of like goes in on the theme based on one element and one element alone it's just a regular level with something added to it to make it fit the theme which i think is kind of a cop-out like it's not bad don't get me wrong it's not bad like it's just the gauntlet dude but mechanical i mean it is cute but you know but then hella get menace oh my god i'm gonna get so much for this but hell i get menace is such a sick level it's so cool easily one of the coolest levels in the gauntlets i think personally that the monster gauntlet is very good i would put i think is like on the fence of sna i would put it probably at the top of a tier for uh the only reason is not s here is because i just don't think mechanism is that solid i think mechanism is kind of a cop out that's the reason why it's not as tier otherwise it probably would have been because it's very very good otherwise i really like it uh so i'm going to put it in high a tier the top of a tier for me next up the doom gauntlet i think this one's good i think it's very very solid extinction it makes sense people going extinct that's a doomsday scenario buried angel i think works it's it's a solid level i don't think baron angel is that good personally but it works for what it wants to do i'm not the biggest fan of shrill hallway but i think it fits within the theme no wise works really really well and so does darkness but i also just have like a personal gripe with a lot of the levels in this because while i think all of them fit within the doom gauntlet itself i also don't really like any of the levels gameplay-wise my personal gripe with the doom it comes from the fact that i don't like any of the levels i think they work i think they work within the doomguard i think they fit the doom gauntlet style and thief i just don't like the levels themselves and me not liking the levels themselves is a huge detriment i think that the gauntlets are supposed to be a representation of the game and as such choosing good levels is an important factor when making the gauntlet choosing levels that have good gameplay are fun and enjoyable and challenge you in different ways is good buried angel super boring i feel like for demon gauntlets a lot of the job for the demon gauntlets is to choose levels that a majority of people will enjoy and from what i've seen uh over the years the doom gauntlet often gets a lot of for being not the greatest so i'm going to put in beef here it would be high eightier for just the fit like the fitting the category perfectly right it's just that the levels aren't really that good and i think that's a huge downfall for it and then last but not least we have the death gauntlet the death goblin is awesome up into a dust ghoul by death disease oh my god ghoul by destiny so good is awesome one of the coolest boss fights uh up until like recent years this level was super sick i really really like this level and it's like what made me notice destiny to begin with like i had no idea who this is he was when this level came out and then he came out with ghoul and i was like wow that is insane that is so cool shuriken by ferdifunky is pretty really solid i like the level as a level do i think it fits it's a weapon so i mean it makes sense from like a theme perspective like sure but it's really only the name that fits right predator by samoth is really cool predator is iconic i really like predator predator is one of those levels that has just gone down in history i think it's a really solid level predator is very very good a dust by felix ram this was made during like peak felix ram hatred for me uh not hatred but i just never really liked felix rams style and i just don't find it to fit the theme i just i i i just have like this level x me for some reason i i can't really put my finger on why this level xm as much as it does it just does i don't think it fits the death gauntlet the beginning i think fits well i just think this level is incredibly boring the death gauntlet overall i think is okay i think a lot of the levels here are good like ghoul is very good predator is very very solid i know a lot of people do like a dust i just don't personally and then shuriken is fun it's a good level overall i'm gonna put it in b tier because i think the levels are overall better than the doom gauntlet about it they don't fit as well but there's enough levels to fit that i want to put it up in b so i think that is my final look crystal and demon and ester awesome levels and we have monster uh shadow lava chaos and time and a ice doom death and b poison bonus magic and c fire in d and then spike and eater i think i'm happy with that list tell me what you guys think do you guys agree disagree tell me why uh and also if you want me to do a video where i do the levels individually tell me i would love to hear anyway see you guys around each green stealth dehydrated but hold it thank little bit better too uh yeah i had
