Gatlinburg Tennessee All Day Eating and Dining

jared here and once again i am down in gatlinburg tennessee and today i'm going to do another all-day eating video now i've done several of these in gatlinburg oh man somebody's loud behind me and i wasn't really going to do any more but i happen to be down here with my brothers who have never been here and they were going up and down the strip looking at all these great places that they wanted to try and i was like man all the ones you're mentioning that you want to look at or try i've never eaten that so we are going to start our eating off today by getting some breakfast at crockett's breakfast camp i've heard a lot about this restaurant i've been wanting you here for a couple years now so i'm pretty excited we do have quite a weight ahead of us today before we were able to get in here so i thought i'd kind of just come out here on the other side of the street take a look at the building because it's got some pretty cool decor so this is what we're walking into man this is an awesome looking place the decor in here is crazy i think the fire on this hot day might be a little much but it yes awesome looking in here so they have a real interesting menu here it's made out of a newspaper [Music] it's a pretty cool looking bear piece i remember when we were doing the haunted house we were trying to get a stuffed bear for a scene and never had any luck man this is the guy i would have wanted though it looked like those jars of moonshine you bought yesterday joel except this will hydrate you instead of dehydrate you i think this side of the fireplace looks even better man this is a really cool looking restaurant i'm gonna try to get a better look at that lobby on our way out because it had some really cool aspects as well you can see a little bit of it from here holy crow joel that was one meal yes it was so what is that thing uh they're cake what's called oh is that the griddle cake okay and then you got hash browns biscuits grits steak what was that this the postmaster skittle or something skillet skillet skittles would you get there young man i got the corned beef hash buddy yes some candied apples biscuit i got you the stuffed french toast i got peanut butter and jelly stuffed in there and then i also got a side of game because you got to have it you are going to get sick i i predict that's a lot of sweet and then i got the mountain crocket omelette it has jalapenos bacon sausage cheese tomato onion peppers oh my god some hash browns and a biscuit i'm just going to show the inside of my omelet i'm not going to show anybody else's food beyond what i just did but man look at that it looks pretty loaded this is i wanted to get a little bit better look here for you guys oh man that area looks themed really well too well that was an awesome breakfast i'm probably gonna say that that's actually the favorite place that i've ever eaten at here for breakfast my omelet was absolutely delicious they had like full strips of bacon in there that's always a positive what'd you guys think of your stuff really good it was really good it was a little the french toast by itself is a little small so i mean definitely recommend getting something with it i got biscuit gravy which is good it wasn't overly all we're all impressed with the gravy but it's still good i didn't eat my biscuit because i don't sometimes that stuff bugs me but i tried some of joel's griddle cake that was really good all right let's see what else we can do today feeling like it might be coffee time so we're gonna get a couple cups here at bird coffees located right inside the reagan terrace mall just for a good point of references to where it's located you see the reagan terrace mall sign right there and the coffee shop is right over there smells delicious in here can't wait to get a coffee man head is starting to feel like it needs one so i got myself a cafe ballet i think is how you pronounce it i think that's how you say it i was gonna get just uh i wanted something not just a regular coffee but i didn't wanna get anything too sweet and this looked like it was just maybe coffee espresso and a little bit of milk so it's not too bad it's definitely not sweet at all which that's fine 325 for this sucker that's not too bad that's a large but large yeah that was a really cool little coffee shop what'd you guys get you got um dick you got a caramel crop frappe yeah he got a caramel fry this is more like five bucks this is a medium he's drank quite a bit of it and then i got an iced caramel macchiato just like one of my favorite uh ice drinks to get but i would say i would say i would highly recommend bird coffee though if you're here and you want a cup of coffee yeah this is really good at least i can say that much for our next meal we're going to go to el saunador mexican grill and if you're curious where this is located if you're coming from pigeon forge it's right before you get to the main parkway oh man we had to walk up three flights of stairs to get to the entrance okay here we go this is the best smelling restaurant i have ever walked into cannot believe how good it smells this restaurant is quite a fine it's very intimate not a whole lot of seeding up here all the food is here and look at this we i got the carnitas it's got some rice beans pork look at this man avocado pico de gallo lettuce and a couple tortillas make a few little tortillas out of joel got the same thing what'd you get jimmy i got the enchilada supremos which was a bean enchilada a cheese enchilada i think it was beef and then chicken that looks really good remember this guy got a sandwich that's bigger than his head monster torto holy crow look at that look at this tortoise oh my goodness that looks delicious how was it so far you've had a few bites it's really good that was an absolutely delicious meal that was an absolutely delicious meal it was a little bit too much i'm kind of full and walking down these stairs on a full stomach is a little bit rough but i highly recommend that place not a lot of seating so you definitely won't feel crowded if you go in but it was good prices everybody loved what they had jake couldn't finish that sandwich it was so big and i would definitely come here again time for us to get some dinners so we are going to head into bennett's pit barbecue we love a barbecue now this is a local chain they have a couple of these locations one here in gatlinburg one in pigeon forge now this is off the beaten path a little bit it's not on the main drag it is behind uber gatlinburg there we go i'm excited man i am a sucker for barbecue i got the masks on the floors this is gonna be good oh look at that cute but also a little disturbing and if you end up really enjoying the barbecue sauce here yeah they have some for sale it certainly has the feel of a barbecue restaurant i seem pretty excited as you're looking over that menus yeah there's a lot to choose from it's my favorite food since joel and i are big boys we decided to get a picture of a yeah beer i don't know what it is some kind of local beer it's good is it good it's a little light we don't usually drink beer that light but light looking yeah it is like that's like amazing the barbecue has arrived i got a brisket sandwich which i usually do oh wow man that looks good with some coleslaw potato salad joel got like half the restaurant here i don't remember what you guys some kind of combo but you got burnt ends ribs pulled pork deep fried corn look at that deep fried corn yeah it looks nuts [Music] jakey got a philly is it brisket yeah philly brisket ultimate with some you know basically cheese peppers onions french fries spicy mac and cheese this smells good this guy got the ultimate sandwich barbecue i got pulled pork but i took the onions well i thought the onions were what made it the ultimate sandwich other than that what is that a chapati is that what it's called the bun shabbat jabata i don't know if that's what it was yeah i think it is what it was oh excellent this looks good so i was going to film my reaction to the food that we just ate at bennett's or our sort of review of it in the restaurant but we had to book it all the way across gatlinburg because we had an appointment that we were running late for but now that i'm back to my hotel room here i can tell you bennett's that was excellent excellent barbecue i really liked it a lot um in fact my brother liked it so much jolie bought three big jars of the barbecue sauce which i'll show you in a minute but everybody really liked the food i thought the coleslaw i got was kind of sweet which was pretty good it was interesting coleslaw the potato salad was pretty decent it's still not doesn't compare to archer's potato salad that i've had in oxford that's my number one potato salad i really really like potato salad so i'm a little bit harsher judge of potato salad but it was good the service was excellent we had an awesome waitress this evening the beer was really good i think everybody all around really loved it uh anything else you guys want to say about the pork was really good yeah i mean it was great the sauce is really good joel got this cute little barbecue carrying case with his uh jars a barbecue sauce now this was the sauce that they served us with our platters this rowdy barbecue sauce and it was really really good we have not tried this joel kind of just blind picked agreed to it but i doubt he's gonna be dissatisfied with it i'm sure he's gonna love it well thank
