Nice illustration of my technical diver course...
However, warm water and thin fingerless gloves makes it a lot easier.
Here water temperature is now <9°C and decreasing... thick neoprene or drygloves add a bit of difficulty to the stages manipulation, particularly when number of boltsnaps on a D-ring is >= 3.
Not a fan of trying to make sure to "do things quick" as that tends to lead to errors, but otherwise liked it.
This came up as a recommended video for me. It mirrors a lot of what I was taught in my tech-diving course and I thought it was a really nice demonstration of good technique.
Calm, collected and relaxed, but precise. Always using your buddy as a second set of eyes to ensure you're not doing something stupid.
