what is everybody welcome back to the episode  of ford era as you guys can see here we're at   gas monkey garage and we found what's up hey man  so uh glad you're here uh let me get a beer and   i'll show you around a little bit show you what's  happening uh a lot of things have been going on uh   you know we uh we got into the sweepstakes model  area somebody's taking my trx somebody's taking a   couple other cars and i just recently got one 200  grand so uh that model is working pretty good for   all of us um but uh might as well get the bat out  of the way i don't know if we're ever gonna finish   this car quit asking on the old interwebs i may  take it out and burn it to the ground i don't know   this has got a bad taste in my mouth right now but  uh we keep the drivers over here uh obviously uh   12 year old ferrari is this the one that  you won the thing with no no no that's a   that's a 22 year old ferrari from uh it's a  550 marinella ferrari uh this is actually my   wife's rolls royce if any of y'all see my wife  on the old uh interwebs we know they all stopped   a rolls royce i am batting i'm batting way  out of my league here's a pretty cool little   bronco we found here local just a while back uh  little damage in this rocker but other than that   100 percent rust free beautiful truck original  paint originally the color combo is gorgeous yeah   and we found it here locally when we put out our  uh fort stockton texas dude that is so cool yeah   i mean no replacement panels no paint work no  nothing and of course the fender wells haven't   been cut so that's a big deal but runs and drives  does everything it's supposed to do we literally   threw go-go juice on it and some battery in this  boom it'd been stored for 22 years what's the game   plan on that thing uh i've already sold it to  a customer we're waiting on a couple of small   parts but he's leaving it basically exactly like  that but he wants to be able to drive it anywhere   he goes i think he's in north carolina he goes  i'm coming there to pick it up and i want to   be able to drive it to north carolina i'm just  not going to i said perfect because i wouldn't   can't show you too much of what's behind you  but we got a big project i know guys love   talking about the tools and  stuff too well you know uh   i have always been a firm adapter of if the guys  want it and they're gonna use it i get it for them   so you know we don't lack for tools or equipment  here and if we do find a need for something   uh i pretty much never say no uh you know that's  the one thing i think can benefit a shop more   than anything is the more equipment the faster  you can get it done all those kind of things   and uh they're knocking it out right now  we've got uh can somebody kill that music   all right we're back so anyways yeah i'm a big  advocate of any tool we need get it and uh what   have you this one's pretty cool right here we  found this local also now it's a hideous color uh   but uh it is originally silver and it's a uh split  bumper 71 it's a vinyl top with a vinyl top but   all original absolutely laser straight underneath  the only damage is still whiskey dent in the door   uh no bondo anywhere we we went over this car  underneath is the best looking old camaro i've   ever bought in my life uh i mean just absolutely  fabulous so uh we can't decide if we're gonna   build this or or uh sell it right now you know  that company that is building uh the camaro bodies   is way way behind because what's going on over in  china and what have you so they don't even have   any is what my understanding is so people that  want to fill one are having to start with a car   and uh that should be interesting we'll see  what happens can't show you what's behind your   back there because we're building something for a  company called gorilla pro i think gorilla glue is   what you do if you uh are a do-it-yourselfer  and gorilla pro is for guys like my guys and   you guys that do it for a living so a  little stronger a little better products   etcetera what do we got out here on the piece  of bro pos row i see you got a bunch of fords i   like that i got a few boards uh we'll just  start back there we got uh el wapo my 78   250. dude i think it's beautiful it  is a great truck uh racetrack trim 37s or 40s um i don't know damn that  looks great i think they're 37s but uh   we got this truck about two years ago all we did  was go through it make everything work perfectly   i mean you can fire this up drive it pretty much  anywhere you want to go uh zero rust anywhere it's   just a great straight truck no bondo used to be  white in here okay and somebody painted it the   green hey they got the right color for you though  yeah yeah yeah exactly but uh this truck at wabo   is going on uh bring it trailer uh in september so  uh be ready it'll be on there at no reserve we'll   see what happens i think you're gonna do really  well because a lot of guys love the fact that you   could get a factory 4x4 with the eight foot bed  because on crew cabs factory four by fours only   came short bed so i think the market on super cavs  are about to blow up and i think you're probably   gonna set that trend on your bring a trailer i  hate to sell this truck because i'll probably   never find one that's nice and uh if you were  a kid in the late 90s 2000s this is the truck   for you man when you pick this thing up i was  just like oh my god yeah it's pretty ridiculous   i talked to the guy that built it he was rolling  in doe in uh 2001 went to the dealership bought   the brand new truck everything took it to a shop  and said i want to go to sema and uh it's really   pretty crazy the detail they went to they they  continued the paint into the door jambs and   everything so this is when sema was great what  i mean now it's all bolt on [ __ ] i hate scene   and i'll go on record saying it it sucks i really  thought that kobe was going to knock sema out   and a new regimen would come in  and it'd be cooler and faster   and better and it somehow the old regiment  made it through and uh it still sucks so   anyways this is a pretty cool piece i got  the other day we haven't mounted it yet   a 60 f-100 59 okay and uh what was cool about  it is it's kind of discombobulated right now   but it mounts onto the wall the headlights work  stuff like that but i always when i'm searching   the old interwebs i'll type in 1959 1916 you  know i'm always looking through the years   and this popped up uh in the car section  when it should have been in the art section   and uh i bought it from a guy out of oklahoma so  we're gonna hang it somewhere did that come from   chad was a guy named chad i'm not sure i i think  i might know the guy because i have a buddy in   oklahoma who that's what he does is make that  kind of art yeah okay so we can look at it yeah   very well might be him so this is the  role of you could probably buy it and   stuff well we call it the pos row but uh  this one we're saving for a project uh   we're gonna show the old interwebs something  that's pretty cool i'll tell you guys about   it off camera uh yes if you're into history  this was bought brand new by judge roy bean's   grandson or great grandson uh it was up on the  judge roy bean uh uh ranch now what's cool about   that if you're not from texas is judge roy bean uh  was a legendary guy back in the 1800s he claimed   that he was the only law west of the pecos and he  held court in the saloon up here in north in the   panhandle of texas and he was known for like you  know dumb uh i guess uh uh punishments like you're   being a dumbass you've got to buy everybody  in here a beer you know stuff like that so   it was a lot of fun uh from what i've heard  there's been movies made already and everything we   got to go up to uh his land and have a good time  nice this one is one of the sweetest patinas dude   57 like holy cow runs drives no damage all the  way around just really beautiful truck uh it's   got a few pinholes here and there but it's really  pretty rust free look how straight it is yeah so what's the story on it i bought in at paid swap  meet this year i might have paid too much for it   but the look of it is why i bought it and uh it's  going on bring a trailer also okay at no reserve   but as far as if somebody wants a a patina  look this is 100 original i bought it from   on the original title from the original owners in  northern louisiana wow and it's a custom cab wet   and white i mean this is what everybody says they  want for patina exactly now these short bed dodges   are pretty fun to work on i know  your boy there does some some uh nice i would not have expected a 12 valve  under that thing especially there's a short bed   yeah that does not even squat  it that low up front wow   still our factory suspension up here really  and that's what we got the other one for huh my idiots don't know how to close doors  uh 62 uh bonneville uh we got this service   truck that we built for the hell of it and  uh it is what it is but nobody's bought it   ls no it's just 350. it's just the big wheels i  like it it's a good-looking truck this is pretty   uh pretty cool um this is a 78 i believe um which  was cut down a long time ago they come long bed   and these guys underneath if you go around in  there i don't know if it'll show but you can see   where the brackets are that they made they just  slid the frame in on each other himself and they   sourced a real short bed so this is a four-door  short bed daily which are like holy grail   yeah this is a factory dually long bed yes yes but  somebody way back in the day wanted a short bed   so they shortened the frame and sourced a real  deal bed so this mat hadn't been hacked on either   so the proportions are just perfect uh this truck  is for sale as we speak got a little rust bubbling   up here but no holes factory fab's a company  out of idaho and they make the patch panels   specifically for drip rails for four crew cabs  because they all rust out right there they do   they do they do yeah if you guys are in the  market here's one this one's for sale go on to uh   gasmonkeygarage.com yeah yeah yeah i can sell any  of these before our big sale that's coming up on   bring a trailer but uh first week of september  we're going to sell probably 35 cars oh wow and   i can just stop all you naysayers right there i'm  not going bankrupt and gas monkey's not closing   i'm just tired of the [ __ ] i have laying  around it's time for somebody else to enjoy it   and then i'm going to collect some  really cool other stuff so there you go   dodge a 100 or p100 i don't even know what to  call those things they're just cool well that   one's really really nice couple of pinholes runs  and drives straight street body i love that it   has the old school billets actually on it still  what engine were they using that's a little sick but uh of course the tequila van stay tuned kids  tequila's coming back it's gonna be pretty cool   and we'll go over to the uh other side and uh  see what's going on there i think we're getting   ready for a private event that is uh happening uh  the next two days a lot of people come here and   of course we let the cat out back we've had  people get married here we've had all kinds   of seminars schools uh award ceremonies for big  company you know they get they want to come here   and they want to hang out with us see the cars  and you know build some camaraderie with their   employees employers family friends whatever  so we've turned into somewhat of a little bit   of an event center there's the philips doing  what fitz does best stacking the beer cooler   gotta have the beers nice  and cold they have a talent here's the fun side yeah so over here  it's a little discombobulated because   all of last week we spent every single day getting  all the pictures done and the underneath and the   driving shots and everything of uh like 30 some  odd cars that we're seeing on bringing trailer   and uh it was a mess so it doesn't look as  beautiful as it usually does but it is okay uh this thing must be a lot of fun i've driven it  from the dealership to here and uh we put the   uh rtr package on it which is uh von gittin jr's  company and uh the stripe kit the lights the lift   the leveling kits and rock scrapers and everything  else like that i was at holly ford fest last year   and lauren and vaughn took me for a ride in  theirs on the course okay and i'm like wait   this is like a bronco anybody could buy and you  guys are running it on the off-road course like we   were jumping it and everything these things are  incredible they're pretty fun uh this one's uh   up for sale it's brand new it's got like 30  miles on it and it's got a you know twelve   thousand dollar outfit from uh rtr on it so there  you go 168 mustang convertible unrestored um i try   to find a lot of cars unrestored and you know i  like a good one owner one family-owned type stuff   it's pretty cool 68 to me is the year for mustang  like it's my favorite mustang yeah the taillights   is everything about the 68s they're sexy cars  and they're a little bit bigger than 65 for   guys that are as tall as you and i are probably  the most famous and most expensive car in here   this is the king tee built by uh gene winfield in  1963. uh showing that rear end is wicked and uh   this car was a revel model a hot wheel  a matchbox everything in the world super   super cool um the chrome on it isn't the  same yeah this is chrome that was done   years ago real chrome decades ago before the  epa got involved exactly we got a little uh   blast in the past you know this is kind of what  uh gas monkey cut its teeth on back in the early   2000s uh this one's pretty cool because this was  the second one we did much better chassis uh much   better air ride system everything on this was just  a little bit more refined than the first one we   did but this is a crate zz4 brand new probably  has three 400 miles on it it's got ac blows cold   bluetooth stereo i personally driven this car on  the freeway at like 120 just rocking out you know   having a good time this is a 65 mustang k code oh  a lot of people get pissed off at this but i like   to uh so so-called mess with the establishment  this was a real k-code uh when it came in and   kind of had a little fun so now she's sitting on  ridetech four-wheel discs about 520 550 horse a   little small block from a cool a cool k-code to a  holy cow you can actually drive it yeah it's got a   five-speed instead of a four so pretty neat little  car block on red can't go wrong no you can't   36 roadster 32-3 win the 32 roadster 34 all  original roadster really no patch panels no   bondo no nothing uh 37 business koosh uh that's  only had three owners and has never been restored   you know how much gangster stuff probably happened  in this thing i mean this just looks like a   gangster owned it a little bit but that was that's  definitely a cool car back in the day this is a a   dodge hellcat that never or actually no this is a  dodge demon that never existed because we if you   remember the show we did a few things with some  new dodges and i had enough parts laying around   at one time and i had a decent enough contact at  dodge that i told them i needed the demon body kit   and i needed the wheels and stuff like that so i  actually had this car assembled before you could   buy a demon and i was sworn to secrecy by the  dodge people so now it's fixing to get wrapped   uh and look kind of like our race car we built and  we're gonna put it up on the wall over here um let   your people have a little fun they can guess  what that is i've been trying to figure it out yeah it looks like the 80s it is it's a custom  kit car quick silver limiter that was gonna   make a bunch of money but what it is actually  underneath it is a pontiac fiera and this one   is flawless though this guy made a business out  of it not just patching it together right right   and it's only got like 300 miles on it 59 bet 62  bed uh a little sleeper fair lane black on black   i bought it from the original owner um and it's a  390 car so pretty cool yeah yeah it's pretty easy but it's all built up with a little mustang 2 type   front suspension a small block and  ac and all that kind of stuff um 79 928 with pasta yeah show them the  attitude wow dude that is a trip i love the pop-up headlights 100 one owner  original everything and check this out the door   was up or the hood was up and the garage door came  down and hit it right there and i thought long and   hard about repairing it and i was like you know  it doesn't have any paint work it's 100 original   if somebody else wants to do that they can but i'm  going to leave it alone yeah it's not that bad now   one owner uh 66 uh gt white red um i tried to talk  the kid that sold me this car out of selling it   uh his dad had passed away his dad bought it  brand new no way and he just wasn't into the car   i said i said man you might be in a few years  why don't you just put it up forget about it   okay and he goes no i'm gonna sell it so well  i mean at least he sold it to like one of the   cooler people to sell something to you know  like a lot of people want to sell stuff to   you well yeah but i mean i'm i'm in the business  of buying and selling not buying it holding yeah   but it's still cool to say i sold my dad's  car to richard rawlings until you see itself but you know this business i'm in but uh this is  a 30 cadillac that uh actually drive quite a bit   uh not right now because it's 106 degrees outside  this is what class looks like this is yeah in 1930   if you were still taking delivery of this you were  rolling locking hubs no no that's just uh to show   you how to tighten and untighten it oh okay okay  i'll just because it's directional inside dude   it's amazing how this is like top top top for then  everywhere at the pedals that says v8 everywhere   just like the way it's cut out on the front it's a  good car and it'll easily do you know 6570 on the   freeway really yeah wow it's not sketchy at that  speeds no no it's a heavy car that's a big car   uh this is my dad's uh 65 before all the  mustang people freak out it's not a real gt but   it was made into one a long long time ago pretty  healthy little car a lot of fun excuses and it   just stays here in uh my dad gets to see used to  bring me by and taking for a ride but now he's   pretty much only taking pictures of stuff looks  beautiful this is a really cool car from ford's   this car has never not resided within about a mile  of this shop and since it was new uh phipps's dad   built this car into a fordilac put the uh 331 ford  in it our 3431 cadillac motor in it back in 53   and then the overdrive [ __ ] and stuff like  that uh phipps's dad drove his mom to the   hospital to deliver fips in this car and it still  belongs to fitz which is really pretty cool so   um i let him store it here just so that uh if  anything happens it fits it'll belong to me then hot rod had made into something cool and it's  always lived in this neighborhood and you know   a lot of the old timers be like okay  i'm always wondering where that car is   yeah what is the story with this thing so this is  a standard polaris slingshot we were challenged   this past sema to build something different so  this was our idea different because you know   especially down in uh anywhere you guys are at you  know everything's all slammed and big wheels and   lights and stereos and all this kind of stuff  i wanted more of an urban assault vehicle look   and uh you know so we got the fox uh reservoir  shocks all the way around big shock towers and   lights and you know just went all crazy and i  mean i tell you what i've been to a couple of uh   slingshot deals with all the regular slingshotters  and they're like wait a minute they would buy the   crap out of that look at the whole suspension i  love the sway bars on it i mean i see this down   to miami somebody might go crazy absolutely miami  is slingshot heaven so yeah i might need to slam   this down to your shop you can just show it i can  put this on the back of the truck when i have the   flatbeds yeah so the trucks either have six by  sixes have flatbeds this could totally fit on the   back oh it's cool see we built our own uh swing  arm and then uh we integrated into the original   roll cage all the rock sliders and everything else  it's uh open exhaust we were gonna put a turbo on   it but this is the newer one and nobody has uh  had the kit yet i think the kit's finally out   for this setup uh but other than that i mean you  actually have storage that roof rack really does   come in handy like every slingshot needs a  roof perfect because then we can also make   a thing for miami for the rain right on top  of the roof right because you've already got   a roof yeah because those tops that they make are  kind of kind of weird to get in and out of super   quirky and uh what have you then of course you  can fill these with tequila or vodka or whatever   you go i don't condone drinking and driving  so i'll be riding no you park then you drink   but uh a few ford model a's a few motorcycles  this is my trans am that i had in high school um   have you ever sold any of your own cars well let  me rephrase that this isn't the trans am i had in   high school but it's the only one i've ever found  with the exact options gotcha it took me a long   time uh yeah we only have uh we have the first  car we ever built as a shop over in the gift shop   we have the first car we ever built our  tv right there and usually parked here   is the last car we built on tv i sold it to  a friend of mine and then um when i do this   regrouping and uh change my collection i'm only  keeping like four keeping my mustang i'm keeping   the trans hand i'm keeping those other two degree  mustang well this stream must say it's actually uh   the second one we built we built this  about a year and a half ago two years ago   uh it's exactly like mine uh brand new everything  uh also a real shelby or no no i thought this   was the one that no hazel's on the other side  yeah mine's mine's on the other side but just   a punched out little uh ford performance motor ac  this one has a six-speed manual and black interior   as opposed to automatic and tan what's six speeds  behind that dude i'd have to go look at the books   man but i would assume one that works great  yeah it just makes the car so much fun i love   it i remember when yours came out and everybody  was just losing their minds that somebody would   take a shelby and make it cooler yeah yeah  well all right so after a little battery uh   problems we're back online texas is just  too hot it is it's hot inside and you got   air conditioning yeah dude i wouldn't even be  here if i didn't have ac in the shop but uh this   is the the second one we built i believe that  this one is being offered in our nft collection   there'll be a release of 5 000 nfts and one of  them will be this car and they get the car really   it goes with it no way so you buy the nft and you  actually get real property yeah real property real   parties real access to here and any other shows we  go to and all that kind of stuff i've got a team   that's handling that i can confess to you that i'm  learning this nft stuff but my team has it down   back what does it stand for do you know that yet  what's that the nft non-fungible token oh boy but   i like to think of it as non-fungible titties  somebody already had that when i thought of that   i thought that might have been a good one  just a whole bunch of pictures of breasts dude i love the aesthetics especially   all of these shelves oh yeah i bought a building  around the corner and there was a whole bunch of   mercedes-benz uh trunk lids so i  said well look like shelves to me and we're back you know that  work little sprint car there   that's good enough you got any cars you want  out so there you go guys and gals a little   trip down gas monkey what's happening now  uh right now it's a death hot i would love   for you to come here but i would advise you not  to it's 160 degrees people are dying out there   be cool bordera hope you guys enjoyed that  richard thanks for letting me come out check   it out we're gonna hang out a little bit  more and uh see you guys in the next video so we have to look at the merchant store and uh  didn't really show you guys in there but i was   like we have to talk about this even though the  video is over yeah so we're doing one of those uh   prequels okay uh this is uh an old truck i  just bought because i thought it was cool   and it looks good here you know in front of the  tree but uh you know it's a four-door but as you   can tell it's got some rust but i will tell you  this much and i've done this a bunch of times   a little battery charge this thing never fails  to fire right up and drives like a champ so   there you go this one uh is it could be bought if  you were so inclined but i'm not trying this out   yeah heck yeah and i forgot the same the last  outro if you guys don't subscribe to the channel   and uh you should and also make sure to like  the video comment down below let me know what   you thought was the most fun thing here and if  you're not subscribing to gas milk at youtube   that's where we live so get on there and get you  some absolutely see you guys in the next video you
