Jefferson's class don't know his last game remember me was about rewinding people's memories to change how they acted in the present essentially time travel they apparently recycled the idea and drop the pretense that it wasn't time travel in order to make this game I think John Lennon once said that life is what happens while you're busy making other plans max rewinds time just so she can quote John Lennon at her teacher me I will use it to quote The Fresh Prince it's all about how my life got flipped turned upside down okay max retrace every step I washed my face I shredded my photo then the butterfly flew in and I took a photo you don't have to actually wash your face rip up your selfie and take a photo of the butterfly to get Nathan and Chloe to enter the rest room again that was going to happen regardless the only reason you redo two of those things is because they're important to the plot later why was max pacing back and forth when the conversation between Nathan and Chloe had already started by this point Nathan had already entered the restroom and started ranting to himself and Chloe had already started blackmailing him shouldn't max have already been paying attention knowing that nathan is going to shoot Chloe Max's plan is to hide in the restroom and then stop it there are so many smarter things she could have done like I don't know call the school security guard or a teacher or even just stand outside the restroom and grab Chloe when she shows up and tell her that there's a guy with a gun in there she didn't even come up with a plan to sound the fire alarm until she was in the restroom and [ __ ] was going down I just saw Nathan Prescott waving a gun around mr. Prescott happens to be from the town's most distinguished family and one of Blackwell's most honored students so Todd for me to see him brandishing a weapon in the girls bathroom we live in a time when kids get arrested for bringing a homemade clocks to school I'm pretty sure Nathan would be on his way to jail rich dad or not that many missing person posters in one place kind of runs into the law of diminishing returns also it doesn't help if you scatter them on the ground in front of the same billboard they were already plastered all over max I don't feel like talking why are you can change things I'm not sure how she developed such a specific superpower or why it only started working right now but whatever though it does bring up the question what happens if she tries to go back in time using a Photoshop also was really lucky that Joyce gave max the photo this morning that William took on the day he died so she could travel back and stop it from happening someday dad will get one of them newfangled computers newfangled computers this is like 2009 not 1999 I'm 18 years old inside my 13 year old and yet you're the exact same height at 13 as you are at 18 I'm 18 years old inside my 13 year old so also that sentence stopping Chloe's dad from getting the car and dying somehow change the presence of the maxis part of the vortex Club at school and friends with Victoria even though there's no reason why William not dying would have affected her life in such a way since the course of Max's life in this new timeline played out the same with her family moving to Seattle and Max coming back years later for school he only took four episodes for one of them to finally begin with max already awake this is such a different world than when we were kids isn't it after that snow and eclipse it's more like the end of the world wait so the snow when eclipses happen in this timeline as well how does that make any sense that stuff happened because max created a new timeline by saving Chloe from being killed by Nathan in this timeline that never happened yet the tornado is still on its way to destroy the town Oh Chloe can totally control her computer it's so great people get this high-tech help nearly every line of dialogue max has feels like it's something someone would write on a Facebook wall I think I'm in like a mellow Bladerunner mood I don't know what version of Blade Runner they're watching but it can't be the correct one if that's what the opening sounds like if maxvill asleep during the movie who turned the TV off Chloe's paralyzed and has max go back in time using the photo again to undo her saving a William resetting the timeline back to what it was and making this choice irrelevant which is pretty much what all of your decisions are there's really no reason to burn this photo it's not like you're going to accidentally go back in time and stop Chloe's dad from leaving again one decipher Frank's logbook to get Nathan's phone to find out where he's been during the vortex Club parties with Kate and Rachel and see whatever hidden shed he's gotten his messages three beats step douche Dan until he tells us about Frank Nathan and the dark room you just returned from a completely different time line you should be out of the loop about what you and Chloe have been up to in this one for the past few hours how would you even know what the plan is to figure out where Rachel amber is rather than hide his phone behind the sofa in his dorm room why is it Nathan carrying it around with him and what's more why hasn't he deleted the incriminating text he sent about buying drugs the night Rachel disappeared that's the reason he hid his phone in the first place get off me get off me bro or should I call the cops on me no police not yet he pulled a gun on you in school a second time and this time there are three people who saw it I think you have a possible arrest on your hands how did Frank get his RV to the beach last episode Chloe threw his car keys under the roof of the diner without him knowing after they stole his logbook or are there two sets of the same keys now since stole his keys rewound time - before she stole them but still had that you know what I'm gonna need a flow chart to keep track of this stuff nothing max there's nothing here it's a shitty old barn let's keep searching and find out who owns this haunted barn I'm on this hold on somebody named hairy Aaron Prescott that took you like five seconds to go from Google Maps to finding the property deeds for the barn should we call the police [ __ ] can get in considering what's in this barn that's a big security oversight if you're going to go to the trouble of putting a keypad lock in your secret underground bunker you might want to use more Jefferson's classes so she can go back in time and stock Jefferson then had it opened to any other photo she would've been screwed right now in this new timeline where mr. Jefferson and Nathan are arrested Rachel Amber's body discovered at the junkyard Chloe doesn't seem that torn up about discovering her girlfriend was murdered I think there's so many realities in one week life is weird close enough roll credits you have the ringer off it well you weren't really conscious of yourself turning off your phone you just woke up from time travel a minute ago so missing Chloe's phone call about the tornado isn't really your fault Chloe where are you Chloe can you hear me hello phone call cuts off mid-sentence cliche Mac's going back in time again to rip up her winning photo so that she doesn't end up in San Francisco cuz ur Dindo back and mr. Jefferson's dark room again because he found her ripped off photo in her diary and got so angry he burned her photos which is supposed to mean she never traveled back to the selfie she took in his class however the change she made when she went back and got Jefferson arrested should have still happened since the photo tearing change happened before that jeez as I told you I was gonna need a flowchart the considering you're about to die a nosebleed is a first-world problem mr. Jefferson uses dank internet memes I think he's the first villain since the juggernaut an x-men 3 to do that I hope these images will be appreciated for what they truly capture no one is ever gonna see them but you there are no serial killer photo galleries for you to display these in crazy people always have musical tastes that describe them you would think that in a game where the main character can control time you wouldn't need to have a deus ex machina come to the rescue but you'd be wrong how did David even know to come here tonight during a tornado no less by his own admission he was staying at a motel feeling sorry for himself for getting kicked out by Joyce he never figured out the truth for himself so finding this darkroom should have been impossible in this reality the tornado is knocked out cellphone coverage yet and the timeline match just came from she managed to call Chloe during the tornado David wait just a moment ago you said this I don't care what you do to me you're gonna die [ __ ] you can't Sam Jackson a scene then followed up with pacifism boy can you hear me wait you just said there was no signal a moment ago at 9:00 p.m. max it snakin I just wanted to say I'm sorry why is max only just now receiving a voicemail from Nathan warning her about mr. Jefferson he said this yesterday while he was still alive and before max was drugged Max and Chloe were even lured to the junkyard by a text Jefferson sent from Nathan's phone which he said after killing him can't believe he actually drove down here in the middle of a [ __ ] 6 tornado just for one photograph I mean I know you didn't come for me worried I came for all of you you just told me you do have the photograph I came for all of you but about that photograph I could use a hug before I do this me too you have violated platonic hug law violation number one you stepped into the hug and squeezed violation number two you close your eyes and enjoy the moment violation number three arms around waist rather than shoulders that's three strikes you have been downgraded from like an older brother to me status to little brother status oh Jesus dude what is up with you I'm just glad right here together I guess you need to talk no worries it's all good at this point Warren has been friend-zoned in multiple timelines you might just want to warn Warren now by not taking shelter in the two wells diner during the tornado since it exploded before max got there and we want time to stop it from happening so after making sure Chloe doesn't die by going to the junkyard tonight and telling David about mr. Jefferson your plan was to go to the beach and stand in the path of the tornado and herring is this really the [ __ ] time for this and the storm got hella crazy and you said we would be safe at the lightning why would she tell you that max all the white house fall apart in her vision of the tornado the entire climax of this game is a nightmare dream sequence that would be okay if it wasn't used solely to set up a flood of fields for the ending some of them getting Petey flashbacks I better stop before Konami hasn't taken down doing the game's intro sequence in Reverse is easily one of my favorite moments I had in a game all year and is easily worth taking off three sins for a loan max dreams that every male character in the game is trying to kill her I don't want to accuse the game of implying something but I think the game is implying something disgust god damn you're sexy [ __ ] see this is how you bust a move max I [ __ ] love your tats Chloe you're so hot suddenly I'm getting casting couch flashbacks who are you holy [ __ ] are you cereal I'm you dumbass or I'm one of many Max's you've left behind the idea there being alternate timeline Max's is an interesting one too bad the game only brings it up in a dream sequence and never again what about the crap that was your fault wait let me guess you [ __ ] up time and space for your precious Punk Chloe alternate versions of you will always bring up all the reasons why you suck hallway of how we got here cliche the only way you you could use that photo to change everything right back to when you took that picture Chloe doesn't know the max uses photos to go back in time all max ever told her is that she rewound time to when they were kids and tried to save her dad she never once mentioned that she used photos to do it all so I call [ __ ] that Chloe would still be carrying that photo around with her a week after she took it from max despite that disclaimer at the start of the game that tells you that all your choices will affect the outcome really only this one choice matters since all of your other choices get a race if you pick the ending the Deb's obviously want you to pick ending a you're not an [ __ ] ending B you're an [ __ ] rewinding time back to the restroom to let Chloe die is supposed to restore the original timeline and stop the tornado from ever happening except there's still one difference between what was supposed to happen before max Ramon time to save Chloe and now originally when Chloe Shawn max came out of hiding and yelled no meaning Nathan would have discovered that she was there and there was a witness to his murder so there's a compelling reason to believe max was supposed to die here along with Chloe this time around max remains hidden until David arrives in arrest Nathan staring off into the sunset cliche eating those beans are you [ __ ] insane are we eating those babies you
