hi I'm Bill Gaither you know Gloria and I recently gathered with our friends in Tulsa Oklahoma for a moving and memorable weekend of worship and praise in front of a live audience reunion featured many of The Talented gospel music artists and groups you have come to love from the Gaither video series over the years along with some new Fresh Faces we captured this event on video and I'm so excited to share some of the best highlights from the weekend with you get ready to experience the energy and spirit of alive gospel music concert event with inspiring performances by Angie Primm Wesley Pritchard Jeff and Sherry Easter the sound Charlotte Ritchie Matthew Holt Legacy five and Downing Gene McDonald Jason Crabb The Isaacs Marshall Hall The nelands Mark Lowry and the Gaither Vocal carried away well I don't know why I become a little shy when I get around a whole lot of people I can't figure out why I never can shout about the love that floods my soul I must confess I can't express the feelings deep inside me the things I know but cannot show one day we'll all below I'm gonna get the side of myself [Applause] [Music] well I'll pass the clouds and shouts aloud it may sound like thunder my tearful lies may fill the skies until it looks like a rain as I leave this world pass against stand before my savior I'll let my soul let the glory roam from the road [Music] Shreveport right yes sir I call you Jake you do you go by Jacob well Jake Jake yeah that's a good that's a good name well this kid uh has been around the vocal band for what for five six seven eight when I was 16. and I and I keep telling him you know go to school get all the other trainings and he's going to do a two or maybe even two uh two two homecoming Group whatever you decide yeah it's going to be great and you're going to love them [Music] I stand amazed in the presence of Jesus [Music] foreign [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] he took my sins and my sorrows he made them his very own Calvary [Music] [Applause] [Music] how wonderful and my songs [Applause] [Music] [Music] Glory his face [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] marvelous how wonderful is [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] wow wonderful this is [Music] [Music] [Music] wonderfully [Music] but at any rate it's just a very simple little part it just goes and and it's kind of catching on The Isaacs you heard how great they were they heard me I boomed on a couple of records and we had people we had hundreds of people coming up and saying you got any more those songs where you just do the Boom Boom Part on because they love the boom you had hundreds I mean literally hundreds of people I've never even seen you talk to hundreds of people at one time how did you get hundreds there were many many many folks who came up there I mean you're Bill Gaither if you say many folks I trust you there were several there were several several folks okay there were two people who came up foreign and they said are you going to boom boom and the and Ben heard me booming on that one record would you come over and boom boom on the Ice Age record I said sure and then the Martins heard me booming on the icings and they called and said would you bring your boom boom over and just on a couple so so so I'm gonna show you just give you a little idea of why it's going to go and afterwards don't applaud I know you'll be very attempted you'll be very tempted attempted don't yield to temptation you'll be very tempted to plot but but just hold your applause and let it accumulate until at the end of the song and then maybe a standing ovation or something like that you know just show your appreciation for the old man but you played the old card didn't you but it just goes like it boom boom boom boom weekends like these from the youngest to the oldest there was a spirit of lifting each other up and encouraging each other one voice that I have relied on through the years on the homecoming videos is Anne Downing and started her singing career with the Speer family and then went on to farm her own group with her husband the downings it was so good to have her back on stage with us [Music] [Applause] we [Music] should never be this because encouraged just stay get to the Lord foreign [Music] [Music] yes please take it to him [Music] [Music] and Downing there you go well I love you Lord for your mercy never fails me and all my days I've been held in your hands from the moment that I wake up until I lay my head oh I will see of the goodness of God cause all my life you have been faithful and all my life you have been so so good with every breath that I am able oh I will sing of the goodness of God I love your voice [Music] me through the fire in darkest times you were close like no other I've known you as a father I'm known you as a friend and I have lived in the goodness of God God cause all my life [Music] [Applause] [Music] I want to hear you sing the chorus all my life come on help us is all my life yes you believe it all my life foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] so beautiful when we begin to sing like this knowing that all of us have brought pain we brought a past we've brought failures we brought tribulations trials sleepless nights we brought all these things into this place and this Empty Arena yesterday has turned into a Cathedral of Praise [Applause] I know the world has been turned upside down and we've brought a lot of that pain and struggle with us but we also know Jesus said that I have overcome the world [Applause] the world can give and it transcends all the cares of your life and all the cares of my life that's why everywhere we look to your left to the right to above you beneath you behind you ahead of you the goodness of God is seen and unseen in every area of our life the goodness of God cause your goodness [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] faithful all my life come on with everybody [Music] [Music] of God [Applause] [Music] [Music] around the local time for there'll be a slide in business cause Jesse drinking came before the groceries in the rain among the local women there'll be a slack and cheese cause Jesse won't mess again last Sunday Jesus came to soul and says [Music] throughout the scars on Jesse's Knuckles we're more than just respected the county courthouse records tell all there is to tell the gamblers will soon miss Jess's money and the black eye [Applause] [Music] for the Lord [Music] from now on Nancy Taylor Ken proudly speak to her neighbors and tell them how much Jesse is [Music] is got a family and
