we are a function for junction in junction city oregon cars cars car oh probably maybe not oh it's a glorious sunny day we thought it was going to start raining at first but the sun finally came out and you got your function for junction shirt on and everything so what have we got here fine sir it's a 55 baller wagon it's gorgeous man how long have you had it 23 years old 23 years so have you done all the work yourself i didn't do all that so the paint job is probably 30 years old okay bought it that way but i lowered it you know just brakes on it dropped spindles i did all that myself all the suspension so it stops a lot better it stops a lot better like power plant as a guy well the engine's a small block 400 oh wow nice purple 350 trans yeah it runs great what does your name find sir scott robinson and you said you love our cocktail videos i do yeah he i think he recognized lola more than he recognized me so that makes sense she doesn't even have a drink in her hand yet all right he's a beautiful one we love wagons so yeah quite lovely great to see you out here man thank you so much [Music] yes well thank you how long have you had this bad boy not very long got it from a friend of mine who passed away oh well i'm sorry to hear he passed away but i'm glad i went to a friend yeah i i guess i guess we're friends yeah well it's gorgeous yeah thank you hello hi thanks for coming saying hi hopefully you're having a lovely time good luck to you yeah you're like 56. did you spot a car that you like lola yeah i like this van con alliance beach bum around with this oh baby looks like my grandpa's ride is sweet cool windows everything oh wow i love this is before they move the doghouse up to the front they still have the doghouse between the seats there we go [Music] i tried to catch her earlier i love the paint job what are you running in it 390 390. nice no 350s in this bad boy no sir hey so i'm super excited to be here i'm here with brenda she is one of our friends that we get to see out and about in these different places this beautiful car this is the maiden voyage yeah so tell us a little bit about it um this is a 55 plymouth savoy her name is stella and she is a fine a year ago in a field for 500 bucks wow oh my gosh so of course you and your man know how to go to town on these things we're having fun it's fun so you're just telling us about the paint job yeah so we we watched a youtube video because that's all i do at night is watching too but it's primer black and then you take a rag and you spray your paint of the color you want on it let it set a little on the rack and then you wipe in one direction and you wipe as much as you want on it to give it whatever shade you want so that's what i did yeah and it looks fabulous yeah especially with the turquoise on the inside i love checkpoints it just totally pops together yeah so we'll have to show you so i got to ask the hard-hitting questions yeah what's a motor in it it is a v8 and it's called a poly motor okay is this one original motors came with it it's original oh man you guys don't mess around oh i know no that's what we like to see and you drive your cars i drove it and i've only been doing around the block at home because we weren't sure and today we literally took it on the freeway at 55 miles an hour and i drove it here and no door panels fell off or anything just the door handle inside the rest so notice that at brownsville but that's okay and there's your man's right there with his ride yeah and we interviewed him a couple years ago yeah so how about that say if you only lose one part for every long trip you're probably okay right yeah if it's only one part per trip then you can just keep putting it back on oh right it'll be more completed um in july for restaurants so all right well i got king striping to do on it and yeah we'll see you there be there stella is stellar so thank you stella is stellar [Music] love it [Music] oh [Music] what is your name larry krause where are you from larry i'm from eugene eugene okay not too far away no and you've got this gorgeous safari here tell us about it well i've had the car for about 20 years i built it it went to its first show national show in 2004. wow and it's one almost every show that it goes to it is amazing yeah it works from 90 thousand dollar restore yeah so a lot of money in it it's a frame off okay frame was powder coated it's all stock colors all stock material it looks like it rolled off the showroom floor yeah it does it's probably a little bit better than that i got a lot more money than it was and i was saying it looks like the original motor and then you showed pictures in the back to prove it right right so what is it running what do you oh the engine's uh i think it's 287.2 they had to be a little bit bigger than a chevy always get out do the chevys well it is gorgeous do you get to drive it very much you know i could but i don't i've got so much money in it i hate taking chances i know that's the downside i take it to shows but of course the last year there hadn't been anything yep sorry i've been here twice this my second time i came in 2019. are you gonna be but it's all stainless yeah which is amazing see another truck out here with that did you do that yourself it was uh no it was done before i got the truck and then you got the lacing on the front yes this is old school what they used to do yeah years ago i've seen it on wood that's of cars sun hitting it it just pops i've seen lacing on the tops a lot but never cut out like that yeah and around
