throw in there people want to know how what cameras we use why we use them and what you should do to start your channel it's in the next stories video very cool been a lot of questions in the comments of the new channel about why we're filming it in vertical versus landscape because it's really what the kids are watching these days i think most of the people view our content on mobile right it's like something ridiculous like 85 it is do you go home and watch it on a television or are you watching dd on your phone i watch it first thing in the morning when i get up in bed on my phone i watch my own videos on my phone i review them on my phone i don't edit anything on a laptop anymore the only thing i use a laptop for is actually going in and setting the monetization and some of the things on the back end of the youtube studio because it's better on the laptop than it is on the mobile but everything else i watch all of our previews is on vimeo yeah jamie uploads it to vimeo i approve the video i download it from vimeo and i put it onto the channel i do all of that from my phone i don't do it on a computer it's pretty epic how much power you have with these phones these days dude you can run almost your entire business from your phone yeah so if you guys are wondering why are we doing it one it's different feels different it's fun it's fresh you can watch it full screen in portrait on your phone so it's just different really cool experience it's a it's a cool experience a different view of like what you do versus the landscape that we get on these vlogs right 100 trying to change with the times that's a business tip by the way always be aware of trends and what's changing because if you don't change with the times you'll get left behind adapt or die adapt or die brother i'll leave the child seat in i i have been taking presley for rides because she wanted to go to school which is only a couple blocks up the road she loves it she loves all the cars she just thinks it's so cool that kid when she gets older is going to be some boyfriend's problem she's going to be like so what do you drive a ferrari or lamborghini yeah hilarious what did she say when when she heard mia got her lamborghini she was jealous she said when do i get mine no way dad when do i get my lamborghini oh cold start one of the coolest things about these lights is they have a running light so they're not illegal because they don't have a full led blast they just have like daytime running lights incorporated boom running lights a lot of you are probably wondering like why we haven't been filming with august it's a combination of a few things the biggest one was they've been moving bought a new location it had a building and a structure already on it and then a whole bunch of land and they've been basically juggling the massive task of moving the sales department to the new building that's already there the service department requires a whole new building to be built on the property that's a two-year project goal damn in the meantime then the lease out yet another building down the road from the new sales department it's been a huge undertaking to say the least you've seen little snippets and little teasers of stuff but it is finally official august luxury motor cars is no longer at the old address i don't know what we're going to do about all the times we said yeah in the videos we have to start screaming the new address by the top of our lungs but we're gonna go and check out their new showroom because it's done it's beautiful it is really a sight to be seen how many cars do they have to move 94 cars the whole showroom full of supercars and we got to go check them out because well you know i'm always shopping for a car of course you are and they have a few cars that the dd fam really wants us to get really oh yeah all right go check it out yeah let's do this now if you guys are wondering what's going on with the ddhq there's really not a lot we can do during these winter months so hang tight come summer we will open up the floodgates with ddhq content we have some fun in-house projects that dave and i are finally baldy enough to take on that's right modifying our own cars i'm nervous about it i don't know a lot about cars i really don't know anything about them i definitely don't know how to mod them this could be a fun disaster you black hummer remember we bought two hummers it's right there now we sold it to a client that really really wanted it through august so we sold it back to them we were like do we really need two hummers when we got the offer we're like no we really don't so we sold it and that client brought it back to august and sold it back to august i could buy the black hummer back for the second time and they have a really unique truck h1 sitting here too just to give you an idea of how massive the new august building is well there's little anthony there's the august building the new home of august luxury motorcars is 3510 spectrum spectrum apparently matt has matt amuse us with how that happened tell a quick story go there was i speed on the snow bike over the handlebars into ice look at us we for example someone comes in you bought this 458 they will put this on the turntable put a car cover over it and it's a unique car cover it's one of those brand new ones that you put over you push a button and it sucks it all back off like the perfect speed yeah yeah so i've never seen one of those big time reveals this is where you want to come and buy a car because it's gonna be a whole experience for you but look at all these cars you guys they killed it this beautiful row of exotic cars we've got lamborghini row right here and then we have ferrari road right over there couple of muscle cars the bronco corner oh i like the bronco corner nicole matt's been collecting broncos for the better part of like what three four years now the new broncos been revealed the og bronco you know is gonna be like it's like the hummer the new hummer came out but everybody was like it's not built like an h1 yeah so everybody wanted the h1 matt stockpiles those as well so you've got the mclaren 570 here aston martin right behind it a new aston sitting here some gnarly muscle cars man i'm pretty sure that thing would probably kill myself in that that like just like scary to drive it trying to even out the score here apparently i get all the cars that's true that's very true so as you know we've been shopping for an svj matt found an svj it was too much money i declined they sold it right away we were just sitting here looking at this beautiful specimen the lamborghini aventador sv cheaper than svj cheaper than svjs now this one's not for sale this is actually a client's car could become for sale there's a pretty sick spec it's like batman's car it's a super cool car it only has 400 kilometers on it 400 400 this is brand spanking new just like your birthday i don't know sv could we get away with it i think an sv would be a cool car to build on top of what are your guys's thoughts definitely not an sb mercy so that's not what i'm pointing at in the background if that's what you're looking at but the sv aventador would be pretty rad a little less expensive than svj doesn't have that all-wheel steering you can make this sound just as gnarly i like this big fixed wing versus the new wing on the svj that is fixed but it's kind of lower and does a swoopy loopy thing your thoughts i like the exhaust better too so matt's talking about he likes this design versus one here and one here on either side of the plate melting your plate and that's mainly because matt wants to be greedy and have his august motorcars played on your car so what car would dave get what would you buy dave if you were gonna buy dave a car everybody wants to know matt august is in control of what dave dd gets what's he getting i don't think he deserves it after he jumped through my fence savage as hell you guys can comment below what car would dave dd be driving this summer oh my gosh there's no way i can see dave rock in this you think so for sure you guys a know what i also haven't told you guys something i've been keeping a secret from you i decided even being the number one lamborghini ambassador on youtube to cancel the order of a very new lamborghini coming and if you're guessing right now that would be the huracan sto you would be guessing right now hold on let me explain why i've decided not to get that car it's a couple of reasons one i kind of started to think that i've had my time with the huracan platform also pretty much every youtuber on the planet's buying this car everybody right and it only fits one helmet if we're gonna build a crazy wild insane out of this world huracan we're gonna do a dd style we're gonna customize it we're gonna take the super fail evo kit and we'll put it on a car maybe dave's car dave's car is getting twin turboed right now it's almost done so we could just send it right from florida to california and start the process of putting a kid on it if that's even what we choose to do but stay tuned we
