his best effort at the age of 39 but up against a a motivated 27 year old tops heavyweight Parker has looked terrific Chris Mannix giving him fall three rounds and easily very easy again power shots in combination whoops offer cuffs happening again and again the Empire wants Barker to keep munching because he knows he can't keep up with that speed wants to just try to catch on them between but possibly doing the right thing the smart thing potshots but not too much power into two ninjas working off speed keeping that distance you're wonderfully up I would have the energy to even try a time Joshua and Dillian white so if this is a little easier for him you can understand just this with the right hand they trade hooks to complete by swinging a right hand [Applause] [Music] Joseph Parker in his corner let's go to LZ Granderson LZ effects became as you mentioned his trainers Kevin barium silver medalist Mehdi for Olympics but the real win for Kevin came when he met his wife Tonya Moss who also competed at Union gymnastics now when I asked is having a world-class athlete as a wife helping Kevin train box he said it sure does run into the fact that the flexibility helped inform them about creating higher performance she also helps him with nutrition after Parker he says that that Tonya actually acts as a second mother to him giving him someone to confide in lines away from his family so I guess the 84 Olympics was a winner for everyone involved back for you reach peak alz good to hear that I know he's a fun guy to talk to Kevin berry and again that became the claim to fame probably wasn't gonna win that fight against a vendor vendor uh that was a fan refereeing I watched that fight again Sergio it's a shame but you know what it was smart honor it was found by very far because he got a medal out of it silver medalist that's Joseph Parker and Parker winning every round here round 5 scheduled for 12 so a paella there's really good left hook to give some confidence at the end of that final round round 4 because bell rang [Applause] yep I'm now in the corner of the Ring and really the first time able to back Parker up into the corner you know it's got to change the equation somehow that there's only so much he could do but surgery I guess there are few things he can do well as he just did maybe to try to impose his will maybe if you get him stationary and get him pinned against a rope you can possibly do something possibly do something but you still have to watch out for their pies now power and he's just looking for one shot he can give up 2 minutes and Lia pie has the power to get himself back in this fight with one punch at 39 years old how much of a beating do you really want to take in there I mean he is getting outclassed and start to finish this round occasionally clean shot going in that was a hard body shudders but what but at what point if you're if you take the fight Chris and he's not bloody but he's not I don't know hurt badly yet the purest corner do you stop it because the referee wouldn't have the the wherewithal the impetus to stop it I don't think we're there yet but the next couple of rounds if he's still getting blown out you still take whoa the stick right there I don't think we're there either but first I know you brought it up and I think it's a good point at a certain point he doesn't need to be in there taking a beating you're right about that right now though he's supposed to give a professional effort and he's doing that were able to peppered with jabs just an observation client that last round the fourth toes and he flashes out a jab and a little three-punch combination he's off it he'd be a tough guy to deal with for anybody obviously he's beaten and Ruiz was the champ it was a tough fight with Anthony Joshua it might be different next time around with chops what if he gets him in there for a big man like this to be swift on his toes bouncing going around the ring jabbing at the same time with with nice speed combinations upstairs and downstairs is really impressive hook off the jab to it's fast he throws on a jab left hook to the head very quickly you see an uppercut landing on Ali up size and again I'm saying he's not among that the top huge heavy weights that are out there with belts but he is a very big man and big strong athletic but he is very comfortable jabbing and backing up that's how he was able to stay out of harm's way against Andy Ruiz and outwork him and get away right hand just missing in a hook as well complete by dangerous shots Parker able of dodging dangerous sharks in the shot and I'm glad that Parker didn't try to catch him with those gloves because all those are big shots by Leah pie but he made him miss completely that takes the weight for the big man's legs firing off a hard right hands Parker again trying to tee off on that right hand set him up with the jab drop the hammer that is where li-fi has shown he's most vulnerable those straight shots down the middle his guard just isn't tight enough at the state of smile right hand comes flying off the jab is well Lea high taking these shots well but he is taking a lot of shots there's no question there's that jab turned into a hook that I just told told you about I love the fact that Parker did that I would love to see him stab the body downstairs to the bodies open now because via PI's blocked in with its gloves stab him down there to the torchon the midsection increasingly becoming target practice for Parker Lee applied really kind of a stationary target moving forward but not a lot coming back just becoming slower and slower [Music] Parker stays away from that it's easy work my Chuck so let's keep getting ready for the main event he gets his shot at the according to Chris Mannix and likely according to every judge scoring this fight right hand off the jab by Parker and cost as well heavy-handed shots from Parker maybe looking to close the show hold on he's looking to 12 the soil point shots with the nice leverage he's throwing the jab straight right hand coming around the glove I look to see some body shot forward it was a body shot hook leaning on Lea pine now staying close uppercut from way up high able to touch him but hard hooks coming back the other way one thing I haven't seen with Parker's double up a shot and that when you're dealing with a fighter like me if I block final shots against gloves doubling up on one side can throw off the momentum with you if you're rolling with the shots and blocking with the punches double up with the left hook double up with the right hand don't look somehow I think the question Sergio right is is that how much does Parker want to work like a how often do you stay in fifth gear where you just you know you straight the guy but you are outputting a lot you're using a lot of energy to energy to do it where you could just cruise to an easy win but he told us and the fighter needs he's been taking a lot of criticism because he was too cautious he needs to take more risk put more pressures try to take the man out and this version of Joseph a lot more exciting no question I was snapping the hook hard right hand so Parker is ready to rumble here hard body shot as well just went with that champ to the body getting leverage on that uppercut as well so Parker doing his part trying to get a stoppage on Leah pot and that's what I wanted from him earlier it's a stabbing jabs I'm downstairs you can even double up on that body shot so jack downstairs and make sure you bend your your knees
