Full 9th Inning of Yankees-Astros ALCS Game 6 (Jose Altuve walk-off, DJ LeMahieu home run)

welcome back to the ALCS presented by Geico on fs1 here's Roberto Osuna taking over trying to close it out Yankees needing to to tie first up or Shella he's been on base three times tonight seventh game this postseason for Osuna he has one save a cam and game pretty chased one ball one strike everybody moves in the outfield as Redick goes from right to left Marisnick who pinch ran stays in the game plays Center and that moves Springer to right one one that's a base hit and the Yankees have life on base for the fourth time tonight as your show up a sharp single and that will bring in Brett Gardner only swung in a 1o pitch out of the zone and they tried to come right back in the high fastball and he pulled it in the hole for the biggest opportunity for the Yankees they had to get somebody on base tension in the stands you can already tell they were standing cheering and it went into like a murmur second time over the last three innings the Yankees have put their leadoff man on here's Gardner he is single struck out lined out takes a strike you know Aaron Boone and his infamous argue with the home plate umpire said that my guys are savages what they are are grinders and they grind out at-bats and they make the other pitcher have to be really really good to get him out it's not been the perfect series for the Yankees offensively but Gardner spins out of there and think about how he came on the air nobody knew what was in store you never do but a bullpen game on each side the question is Gardner is wondering if that ball hit the sleeve and they're going to look at it did glanced off his hands he wasn't sure it's worth taking a look but that's about as close as it comes to see and if it hits you it's worth those it's worth the review but seen anything yet that looks like it glanced sleeved the arm of the hand replay review is powered by my tell but nobody knew what was to come in this ball game we've seen a total of 13 pictures for the most part all champ in the NL with the Rockies also hit 26 home runs there's two more this postseason how to play [Applause] [Applause] may he were able to fight off that pitch changeup ROM Roberto Osuna changeup there floated a little bit trying to get him off the fastball and as I mentioned with LeMahieu his fastball only 19% of them does he put it to the pull side off of fast balls tries to stay up the middle tries to go to right right center hoping he would pull off and ground that changeup to the left side for a possible DoublePlay to toe [Music] [Applause] that's high in a full count [Applause] got to be real confident if you're going to go up there that you can make a 3-2 pitch because the chance of success for getting a strike at the top part of the zone for Mayo is not great you have to have in your mind that you know you're going to throw the 3-2 pitch if you miss with the two-two [Applause] LeMahieu added as a free agent Yankees front office didn't know exactly where he would play he can play all over he's been anchored at first base and all he's done in a Yankee uniform is hit 3 2 pitch flyball into right and this game is tied not many you a ninth inning Game six hero for the Yankees it's for four [Applause] and right field it is didn't lock the 2-2 pitch had to come in there in the 3-2 pitch and LeMay you just outside of the glove of Springer I mean this is going to be as close as it gets when we see a replay that gets away from Maldonado ball one to judge Wow golly [Applause] the fans stayed back let Springer have a crack at it and he just couldn't get there telling you to to pitch [Applause] big swing by judge one ball one strike and after all this pitching and all the changes in the opener and everything else AJ Hinch has his closer in the game and a blown save as the result we'll see who wins the ballgame big delivery by LeMay here there's a strike to judge and it's one and two the hardest part of a closer is when the adrenaline and the letdown have blown the save you have to take a breath and keep the game tied you cannot let that momentum carry over because the games that you're not losing you just didn't get the job done you got to keep the game going now a 1 2 pitch wouldn't chase it the Yankees have Chapman ready to go saw that shot of Gerrit Cole wondering if he'll pitch tomorrow in a game 7 on Tuesday in game 1 to the next round of the nothing win here in Houston tonight 1 for 4 bases empty two out strike one Torres was taking all the way or backing out of there for whatever reason wow this place is done hi flyball Torres got under it redick hauls it in and it's DJ LeMahieu what an addition for the Yankee all he has done is hit just out of the range of Springer and right in Game six is tied into the bottom of the time [Music] hoping he can provide and relatively quick fashion he hasn't had much work in the series and as I mentioned if the Yankees are going to have any chance at winning this series they had to have Chapman pitch three days in a row that's a strike in its own to talking to AJ Hinch he said one of the small pieces of last night's game which the Yankees won four to one was getting Chapman in that ballgame but he has had very little work he's thrown a couple of innings that's it sector Andolan the right-hander gets loose here zo2 as Maldonado stays alive [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] still nothing and a guy who has 13 career postseason home runs most in the Astros franchise history and now visit out to the mound [Music] as they go over how they want to approach this at-bat by George Springer Oh for 3 tonight [Music] Springer hit a game-tying home run in Game two a three-run shot at Yankee Stadium in game number 4 and he bats with two out nobody on tie game 9th inning game set and I say that despite the numbers he has against left-handers breaking ball but this is not your normal left-hander that he's facing I just think if you're up there you're sitting fastball and looking to try and end this game take this crowd to a new octave here's a first from Chapman and the slider starts the event and drills e inside corner strike one [Music] [Applause] pitch number 13 of the inning the tent the stolen base is not out of the equation Springer stole six he has one this postseason [Applause] and the outfield is going to play as deep as they can to try and cut off any double great speed as you mentioned at first no doubles outfield with two outs that something down in the corner would be trouble first to not close to Altuve from gentlemen Marisnick is on deck so you still have a base open if you're Chapman and Sanchez you can't forget about it cannot let this guy with the two old kennel picha Altuve takes a strike on a slider great pitch Michael Brantley was taken out to add to the defense so Marisnick on deck and that to Oak [ __ ] was a beauty from Chapman [Applause] it is anything that'll walk off home run because nobody's leaving five six 168 with a heart of a lion sends it over the wall and left for a pennant [Music] [Applause] [Music] to an amazing two-run homer in the ninth inning Toby would a 2-1 count on him no Brantley on deck Chapman went after him and lost the battle how many big hits how many big home runs here at home for jose altuve in his time with the Astros he is a hero tonight and the Astros win this ALCS in six games the final tonight is six for you

The fact that those goofs were going to rip his jersey off is really telling regarding the buzzer theory. The unknown/anonymous Twitter accounts and Reddit posts stated that buzzer system was only used by a select few players including Bragman and the Midget, and the system was not widely used or known to the players.
