FRENCH STYLE VS SCANDINAVIAN STYLE | feat. justine leconte !

hi guys and hi Justine hi welcome to my channel it's really good to have you for those who don't know this thing which I'm sure most of you do she is like the super French woman and super stylish so today we are doing Scandinavian versus French style video so we have ten questions we're gonna do five here on my channel and we're gonna do the other five over in your channel I will leave a link in the description to you see this video but first of course let's watch this video I will just get going okay let's do this here is an important question what do you wear for work tricky one so if your company is a bit more casual like on average I'd say dark trousers they can be jeans but nothing bleached nothing ripped no visible knees and then a nice blazer must be tailored something really chic and then I'd wear heels and all witches some things shake but comfortable something in between it should look like you made an effort but you can walk in it and live your day normally and then you still have room focus no details personal touches like accessories shoes handbags jewelry mm-hmm so you would say that sneakers aren't okay at the workplace now maybe on casual Fridays but you have a casual Friday do because the rest of the which is not casual oh really we don't have casual Friday at all in in Sweden there's no need because like every day is super casual at the workplace you can wear jeans you can wear sandals you can wear shorts like whatever you want t-shirts like even you will see your own manager walking around it like shorts and a t-shirt it's like super casual but I think it's because like we tend to wear the same thing both on and off work very modern very simple very clean so it's the casual stuff really kind of works in a workplace as well so when I was working in Paris I would feel underdressed in sneakers mm-hmm if your company's formal so there is a little higher this than its full suit men and women then casual Friday is just the type oh wow it gets pretty fun we don't do suits in Sweden I don't think you'd never see that on the street ever how would you describe French style in three words I would say classic but individual and effortless you spend a lot of time getting ready but it should not show yes that fine line okay I see I would say for Scandinavian style Swedish style I would say modern simple and beige there's a lot of beige good yeah I thought I heard from this Canadian person that you guys were variations of beige so that you don't need bright colors because the Sun is not that strong because the light is softer up there oh do you think that's true I never had this before what do you think it's a Scandinavian person I never thought about that maybe that's true like this off the cover you can see the different shades and I don't make that much number one color the Swedish woman wears is black so much sure how that works with I think it's more about the Swedish woman she does not want to be girly she's all about being more like edgy or cool mm-hmm so that takes away a lot of the colors you need to the kind of pop okay next question what wouldn't a French woman be caught dead in sucks in sandals oh really no not even in the beach not even the summer tourist there's so sad socks and sandals it's like my favorite side I don't wear sandals without socks difference so I would be the obvious tourists okay that's good to know so for Stockholm I would say that you definitely don't see a lot of cowboy hats that kind of style I know the cowboy trend is quite big right now but I'm not sure it's gonna catch on in Stockholm also real fur is usually a no-go for ethical reasons but you do see a lot of fake fur real fur is probably disappearing a little bit everywhere so really every country let's get so how many different colors can you combine in one outfit I'd say maximum two plus the neutrals neutrals being for us blue black gray beige chomping khaki sound round everything doesn't count okay and then one up two colors on top one being probably an accent color on the shoes the accessories not the main outfit mm-hmm like a smaller so I think that's interesting that you combine all the neutrals and just count them as one color I think that we probably do that in its get any of it to I just never thought about it that way so the name beige back white you can combine those however many different colors you want and then I would say like for a screen Navy Brown like muted colors are you also see a lot and then if you look at more the bright colors like neon or like super bright sand lipstick or something is usually like a pop of color like a detailing on the lips or like a detail on the jacket or something like that neon for us is a bit extreme yeah - both we do stripes we do prints but if you wear one garment that has a print on it the rest will probably be more discreet so you don't you know I wash with it and also to highlight it hmm as your as your statement piece makes it and the ball runway looks stripes on prints on stripes on the flowers that's not something you really see on the street if your outfit is really loud like that it can quickly be considered a bit tacky okay so we should watch out for that you know go to Paris colors okay good to know so final question for you listen what wouldn't a French woman leave the house without first with everything just in case I need it mm-hmm lip balm lipsticks everyone's mirror up hand sanitizer careful body cream but Dunmore I have when I switch purses I open one open the second one and I do you know so that I have everything with me really different months but I have everything at all times wow that's really impressive but I think like maybe not that extreme but I believe in women it's like kind of similar we like to come prepared so we have like a big parrot with a bunch of stuff in it but I would say like the two maybe most important things it's like nice pair of sunglasses and like a really bright lipstick because if you're wearing something very modern and simple it's an easy way to like spruce up that outfit and make it more exciting so I think sunglasses lipstick by important make sense mmm-hmm so glad was it for this video that was a lot of fun wasn't it thank you so much for coming over I don't you so much for having me and we are not done yet we have five more questions to answer we're gonna do that over on your channel I will leave a card and a link in the description and on that video we're gonna talk more about the different products like accessories that kind of thing so it would be a lot of fun going over to just in this channel and the guys see you next week hi this is taking things too far mass hysteria Maha's hysteria people are thinking they were dying okay what happened was local practical joker I love local tactical joke no you hit a guy named porky bigger
