X1 it is the position for the follower seeet sketch duplicate A Sketch rename it move it to assembly change the axis to X Change it to minus 10° for the second one change the axis to X make it 10° so now to sketch are 20 degrees above it is the path for the follower change the position of the cam to 80° to match the position of the first sketch for the second sketch change the variable to X2 the pit of the Helix is 40 mm height is 160 mm initial height is 40 mm plus 2 mm to the center of the groove the maximum height of the path is a 202 is 40 mm + 160 + 2 mm the total range of the rotation is 3,240 De for rotation of 1° the height increase by 40 mm / by 360 for the straight line portion at the top the height is 202 and at the bottom is 42 when the follower is coming down the height is 202 - 40 * angle - 1620 / V60 translate this into conditional Expressions as highlighted by yellow the combined conditional expressions for X1 is highlighted in blue X1 and X2 are 20° apart substitute angle by angle minus 20 into the expression it is the conditional expressions for X2 highlight in green copy and paste the conditional expansions for X1 and X2 change the point size of the sketch to 20 the Ben is from 0o to 3240 step size 10 for the cam change the angle of the LCS to minus variable to angle T step size to 30 on the animation so you can see two do is moving along the Helix curve hide the cam select the body the path create LCS for two rulers at the fourer S at the vertex translate or create LCS C the vertex transmit origin UT par design create datm line see that the vertic pass through two points go back to assem before b a l o CS along the DAT line see that line select the vertex left come up that I can select so I just select okay for now then go back to the LCS to addit it and it works usually select the DAT line so s c tangent to Edge as the LCS Creator in the body will not be visible under the parent assembly so I I need to import the datm object then I can synect the LCS from the parent assembly import datm object insert rollers half 1 M insert the second rer PA to m insert the forward along the DM line follow p in the S PA nine adjust the Y position as I cannot adjust by small angle he so just K okay first go to the follower go to the LCS change AIS to X Change it to - 9° and C to minus 2 the position is okay when the animation so the follower moves along the heix Curve so the motion looks good insert the pace use origin and the hole for the C change C to minus 30 insert the world attach it to the base hide the base insert the pain on top of the follower it cannot be attached to the forarm as it move but it w turns so attach it to the origin assembly origin change y to 44 change it to 33.8 so go to the LCS of the pay in the X Direction make minus X1 + X2 / 2 it is at the middle of two rollers so the movement will be along the horizontal Direction but won't turn hi the sketch when the animation so inve along the path and reverse at the top it looks good and it's reversing if you find this video interesting Please Subscribe and give it a like thank you for watching
