FREAKY MAGNET FISHING FIND..... WHAT IS THIS!?!?! 😣😣

[Music] all right I've got something pretty good sighs we're gonna bring it in together it probably weighs 10 or 15 pound whatever it is it's probably a piece of iron I'm directly underneath this bridge today started weird but things just got a whole lot weirder [Laughter] [Music] what is up guys welcome back to venture archaeology if you're new to the channel my name is Brandon if you're not subscribed please be sure to do so we go out on adventures like this every week today we're going out we're gonna do a bit of magnet fishing we're gonna be looking for anything of potential value murder weapons all that fun stuff so we're gonna see what we can find I don't have a go-to magnificient spot so we're gonna hit several creeks and be doing what I call magnificient prospecting so hopefully we'll find something cool but before we go I'm going to show you mine to set up so I'm gonna be using today alright guys so these are the two main setups that I use I use them in the same area but what I usually do is I use the smaller brute magnetics magnet which is a bit cheaper to clear the bottom and make sure that there's no limbs debris or large iron objects after I make sure that I've went through with it several passes I will then move to the larger magnet and throw it in to pick up what the smaller magnet used if you're interested in either one of these magnets the link will be below I will also pin the store in the comment section that jar in the background you may be wondering about that I got to tell you all about this before we go out and get to magnet fishing last week I found that in the creek I didn't think anything about it because it's just a common ball jar from the 20s and I threw it in the back of the truck and I got to look and I was like man what is that and there was a lot of dirt inside of it and what happened was that was laying there just like that I was like man what is that so there was a tax token that apparently fell out of that jar that I didn't realize was in there and I slung the mud out of that jar in the creek that makes me wonder if there was more tax tokens or possibly even coins so now I've got to make a return trip to that Creek and take the middle detector back with me and find that exact spot where I slung the butt out and see if I lost any of the coins so just kind of an interesting backstory I mean that's my look right sling a bunch of silver coins out the creek anyways let's go get the magnificient all right we're gonna do a bit of magnet fishing at this old mill site you can see the concrete walls my biggest fears there's gonna be some big iron in here so I'm actually gonna be using my smaller brute magnetics magnet today but this place is so old there's no telling what's in here and I don't even really know how deep it is so let's see first I'm gonna get a wrench can't tell how old it is definitely been in there a while it looks older doesn't it clean it up anyways keep going something behind all right we're moving spots going to the next spot that spot didn't pan out I've got a cool spot though that has an old abandoned bridge on it and I'm anxious to see what we can find there so let's go there now turn away if you're squeamish and that is a huge snapping turtle chowing down on it he just sucked his head back in for a second he's like dang guys you mess over my meal that's one then once you stand on it you don't have a good shoes he'll snap your toes off that's pretty cool guys you can look the iron right there it's actually growing up the tree is growing up around that iron rather very neat suspension style bridge I'll check out right here what do we got looks like a modern no deposit bottle but we'll look and see which one it is looks like it was a 7up there's a Pepsi Cola can that's in pretty good shape actually I'm not a can collector but there's a lot of people that are so I'll probably go ahead and carry that out of here with me just get the trash out of here probably a piece of iron I'm directly underneath this bridge good part is is the waters not super deep I was hoping to find a gun today but it doesn't look like it let's see what we got oh what a motorcycle tank no way dude that's retro for sure oh it's got a hole in the side oh it's been shot what the heck [Applause] I wonder if the rest of the bikes in there now I'm gonna throw back in the same spot see if I can find the rest of it that's pretty cool me being a motorcycle guy that's probably off of a CB or a CL series motorcycle one of the smaller series probably 70s judging by the shape very cool I'll take that guys that's always a fun fun and hopefully the rest of the bikes in there just pulled this up it's just a funky looking piece of iron it almost looks like the side two glasses but being made of iron I don't think so I know what that is I don't know what it is leaving the comments below so far no sign of the rest of the motorcycle so looks like somebody might have thrown that into the creek let it float and shot at it as it was floating down the creek until it sank so still pretty cool there I'll clean it up put it in my shed I think it'll look pretty neat still got some good color to it even with a patina from the river but we'll keep going see what else we fun the water is high so I haven't really been able to tell whenever I have something light on here and today started weird but things just got a whole lot weirder I got this to the bank I saw something on it and I wasn't for sure what I had and you gotta be kidding me I mean really what did I just find this sadly is the second miserable one of these that I have found in the last year in the creek apparently there's a whole lot of people into river pleasure instead of River treasure not what I was looking for yes we'll keep going so I kind of looked off to the left of the bridge and I thought I saw something back here in the woods obviously there's trash but I thought I saw the back side of an old truck who are Thunder the drain has been on and off all day today you got to love this summer weather in Alabama that is the back of an old truck over there couple barrels - you never know what you'll find when you're out walking these old creek banks I always like to explore a little bit just to see what's there see if I can find a good spot to come back and metal detect or look for bottles but with this old truck bed being right here those are newer barrels it really makes me think there was a house place here oh yeah that's the old square body Chevy and that's probably 60s or 70s probably been there or 70s or 80s I should say not 60s or 70s looks like a good place for her animal to hide in there don't it anyways I don't see anything but this I don't see any part to the house or anything like that the creeks kind of run out of there you kind of see where the tree break is that's where the creek bed is and there's kind of an offshoot channel that may be a good spot for me to walk and look for antique bottles we'll have to see though like I said this rains been on and off and it's really started to bottom up so you know that last fine Magna fishing kind of did me and I think I'm gonna look for bottles for the rest of the day let's see what we can find check that out that was a nice old jug right there about the quarter of it I'm getting attacked by flies out here the baleen flies are out bad and I'm having to keep moving faster than what I want you to keep from getting bit I got my bug spray that's a good son alright guys so it's sticking out right here can't tell if it's old or not it's got an interesting looking zoom on it oh it's just a jar come on now our guys fond of the day it's probably gonna be the Honda gas tank the rest of the motorcycle was not there sadly I still think that's gonna clean up nice and cool put on my shed wall use it a bit of decoration I found this on the walk out for those of you saying that's made out of aluminum I know it was on the side of the bank so I picked it up carried home with me 8.5 it kind looks like a railroad son to me pretty cool there's that older rich pretty excited about that Pepsi cam that's gonna clean up really nice in the find that embarrassed me and now going in the garbage because I don't want to get caught with this in my truck this right here is going right in here I can just see
