Four WEIRD MLB Park Quirks

hey it's unwin here the unwinnable umpire that what's your call sports trots out every so often to make all you guys look worse you know some major league baseball stadiums can be downright boring pretty boring yeah but others may be too interesting for their own good from catwalks now who the hell walks their cat to green monsters and we all know that green monster is that booger hanging down from your nose to wrigley fields ivy wall you know i got a spinster aunt named ivy there are some interesting statement pieces in different parks across the league and we're gonna number them off so you can know what's your call in the comments below yeah let's start with those catwalks you know you're gonna walk your cat all the way up there or even on the ground tampa bay ray's tropicana field has four of them count them four and each include their own rules here we go if a ball hits one of the two lower levels it's completely in play unless you're upside down now get this if the ball hits one of the top two levels yeah which one top two it's completely a foul ball or maybe it's a home run depending on whether the ball strikes the catwalk in fair territory or foul territory sounds like it's offside to me next up it's the green monster yeah it's monster all right that little booger hanging down from your nose it's absolutely the right name for it though boston red sox home field fenway park includes one of the meanest special features in the league the wall the green monster wall it can turn a double into a single it can even turn a home run in almost any other park into a single you better watch where the ball bounces on this one and now we come to chicago's wrigley field you know mr wrigley invented that gum stuff that stuck on every sidewalk all over the world thank him wrigley feels iconic what kind of a word is iconic the green monster can't even be iconic you got the ivy i told you about my spinster aunt ivy the ivy the ball gets stuck in the ivy and gosh darn it it's a ground rule double oh yeah we know the player did the right thing he just hobbles right up to the ivy puts his hands up and says hey if the ball is lost well why don't you go looking for another ball there must be hundreds of them in there and maybe this umpire is looking for his titleist as the announcer says what the hell everybody's looking for a ball just look in the field just or take that damn iv down yeah boat hits this one a ton no doubt but have a look where that ball's headed before it hits the pool those guys are already getting sloshed and the guy's actually in the pool well they left before they could get hosed any further you know this channel what's your call sports well we're baseball fans home plate so make sure you hit that subscribe button and ring the notification bell so you never miss an upload what's your call sports what's your call you
